a character in “Time Is On My Side”, as played by Slybop

Powerful/Major Lazer
Jin-Ho Song
Magnetic/Electrical Manipulation:
Jin-Ho has the ability to generate, absorb and manipulate electricity on several different levels of physics. This allows him to alter the bases of physics to do a multitude of strange things such as using it to phase through walls or interact with aspects of electromagnetism. Jin-Ho can emit enough electricity to kill a man several times over from a quick shock. It is unknown of the amount of electricity he can emit, as he once kept a dead hospital generator running for an entire night. Though he does have his physical limitations as he lost use in most of his limbs for the next several days.

Jin-Ho also requires a conductor for his power. Meaning he cannot shoot electricity through the air at a target, unless the humidity was extreme like of that in a sauna or shower room. Rain and Snow are also a good conductor for his abilities. barring those, he either needs physical contact with a target or contact with an electro conducting material, like a metal railing both are touching or a copper wire or both in a pool. Metal rooms or kitchens become death trap to his enemies. He can also use his ability to lift electro-conducting materials into the air and shoot them as if he was a living Rail Gun. Though he has far less control over these objects than a telekinetic would.

Jin-Ho has on occasion shown the ability to perceive things in the different electro-magnetic spectrum, allowing him to literally "see" in infrared and even radio waves. Though he has little control over this ability and it often appears at in oppurtune times, often leading to extreme headaches. The color of his electricity is purple.

Jin-Ho has short, black hair, styled into a casual look and has brownish-grey eyes. He is tall, thin and wears slim, rimless glasses. He also has a habit of pushing his glasses to the bridge of his nose or adjusting them somehow when seeking to clarify an idea. His build is thin and lean. He has no muscle bulging out and his body is very flat. All of his muscle is whipcord tight and lean like a runners build or an acrobat. His skin is rather pale and he has a very smooth complexion.
Distinguishing Marks:
None to speak of
Dress Style:
Jin-Ho prefers designer wear with his fashion sense leaning towards a modern classic look interspersed with trendy items of clothing. Jin-Ho is always impeccably groomed, dressed appropriately for any occasion, and is naturally stylish and neat.
He was forced to learn the piano at a young age but he has grown to enjoy playing it. he often finds himself playing when sad and often creates his own music. Jin also has a talent for computer software skill and is a more than competent "Hacker" as some would put it. Jin of course would never use such a vulgar word.
-Training: Like all members of his family, he was thoroughly trained in Tung Tsu Do, while he is rather proficient in it and its martial weapons, earning a black belt with 2 red stripes, he is far from a master.
-Intellect: Jin-Ho is a certifiable genius and is excellent at thinking on his feet and is definitely more of a strategist than a warrior.
-Water: Being submerged in water can cause physical harm to him as electricity will forcibly discharge from his body and make him unstable.
-Ignorance: Jin-Ho is pretty ignorant when it comes to how common people live and doesn't know how to do many things that a normal person would see as trivial.
-Water: Taking a shower or standing in the rain has never been a big deal, but being completely submerged can make his body begin to violently discharge electricity. He he also has a psychological fear as he nearly drowned as a child.
-Disappointment: Jin-Ho needs to earn his fathers approval no matter what, he will achieve his impossible dream.
Jin-Ho is calm, logical, and has superior intelligence. He also can come across as rather detached, and sometimes threatening when need be. Jin can always be seen as a very calm individual and barely anyone has ever seen him flustered. His voice is rich and deep and is rather musical in its tone. He can usually be seen with a soft smile on his face with half-closed eyes, which gives him a rather vulpine look, as if he was up to something. He is incredibly logical and is rarely outwardly ruled by his emotions. You can always rely on Jin to keep calm in bad situation and come up with sound and logical advice.

However due to his calm and logical demeanor, he can often come across as detached. Jin seems to watch the others and life in general as if he was not directly affected by it. Like a scientist overlooking an experiment. He can be somewhat manipulative and often pulls the strings of people to shape events. Jin is incredibly charming and well-spoken and is able to emulate emotions he is currently not feeling very well, even able to produce tears on command. Due to this, people who often think they are close with Jin, often truly know nothing about him. He is quick to discover pertinent information and often withholds it until a time where it would either benefit him or would be interesting to watch. Jin tries to assume an indifferent demeanor and many from hid old school called him "The King in the Shadows". He is very polite to people who are in power or related to it, and claims he only helps people who can benefit him somehow.

However, deep down, Jin is an incredibly caring and selfless person. He will often go out of his way to help a total stranger for no gain of his own. He dislikes seeing strangers being taken advantage of and will often try and help, usually with subtle means, though. You see, Jin doesn't wish anyone to know how kind he is, he'd rather keep up th cool detached facade so no one will get close as he is afraid of letting people in. He doesn't want to compromise himself as it is logical to keep your own survival most important in this line of work. Which fights against his secret nature to help anyone he can. It is in fact his greatest secret and he hides it well.
Jin-Ho was born on November 22 to the wealthy and illustrious Song family. There are the 1%, and then there are the 1% of the 1%, that is the Song family. The Song Group is a world wide Health Care Zaibatsu that has connections all over the modern world. Half the medical specialists in Asia work for his family. Not only that but they have a multitude of subsidiaries for more adventurous purposes such as theme parks, shipping and high-end retail products. To say Jin-Ho grew up privileged is an under-statement.

Even from a young age and despite being the third son of the family, much was expected from jin-Ho. He had to be perfect in every way as his every action would reflect upon his families illustrious name. His father, Oto guang Song, expectations for him were extreme. It was not good enough that he accomplished everything his brothers had at his age, his father had seen that, he must do more if he were to meet his approval. He couldn't remember when, but gaining his fathers approval was all he craved and soon, he had ambitions of becoming the heir apparent of the Song Group. As the third son, most thought this was impossible, though he was a certifiable genius with an I.Q. of over 250, incredible social skill and graces and a quick mind for business, competing with his equally qualified brothers seemed to impossible. Not to Jin-Ho, however, he thought of it as a game worth playing.

However, his dream soon gained an almost impossible hurdle in his way. At the age of 12, he began to show signs of him being a Special. His family did an amazing job at keeping it secret, but it was obvious he had become a liability in his parents eyes. The only solace he got through those days was the company of his older sister Bae Kwang-Song. she was more of mother to him than their real mother. though she had already been married off, she visited often to listen to Jin-Ho's problems and make sure he was alright. Bae was the only one Jin-ho felt he could be his real self around. He misses her terribly. Despite becoming the Black sheep of the family, Jin-Ho was not going to give up, it was not in his nature. His dream, even today, still lives on.

He was discovered by the recruiters while he was working for his doctorate in medicine. It was a tradition for the Song men to become doctors and work at the hospitals they owned, as to be a successful business man, you must know your business better than anyone. One night during his, there was an attack on the hospital. An explosion destroyed all three of the hospitals generators. Someone had intentionally sabotaged it. Without power, many of the patients would begin to die and surgeries could not be performed. Without a second thought, Jin-Ho ran down to the Generators and began to power them himself. While powering th generators, he also managed to fight off three strange beings who looked and acted like men, even used guns, but seem to be able to shift and morph their form. They apparently needed to power down the hospital so they could sneak in and eat several of the patients. Disgusted by their very being, Jin-Ho fought them off and eventually killed all three, ll while maintaining the power. The next morning new generators were flown in and installed and Jin-Ho nearly died. He was then recruited into the program and has been here for a short time. Though it is not what he wanted out of his life, like everything, he is determined to excel at it.

There are many aspects of life that Jin-Ho can adapt too. He adapted to med school at a young age where most would feel intimidated by the cut throat world medicine. He adapted well. When as a young boy he gained incredibly destructive abilities, he admits, he was scared. Anyone would be. However after enough time, Jin-Ho was able to adapt to this as well. Even after finally adjusting to his new life and the difficulties that came with it, he was forced off to the Outskirts of the World with others "like him". This too, he has adapted his own way. One thing, though, Jin-Ho is fairly certain he will never adapt too....the morning.

With a combination of his Hypertension and his late night studying for his medical exams, the early morning sun was not his friend. Jin-Ho rarely rose before noon. Though unfortunately for Jin, many of the instructors here believe one should rise early to aid in discipline. Jin believes that these instructors should have switch taken to their eyes. It is incredibly hard to force one who can magnetically bind himself to his bed. In order to circumvent this, certain instructors have developed more.....stealthy techniques. This is one such time as that.

Jin-Ho's eyes groggily bleared into life. After a few moments of collecting himself, Jin-Ho realized he was not inhis room. In fact, he was dressed in a casual(designer casual) outfit. He was sitting in a chair in the ready room just outside of the Training Room. Jin-Ho sighed heavily. He had gotten used to waking up dressed in front of his assignment for the day. He wondered what it ould be this time, and secretly hoped he would get to blow something up to alleviate his frustration. Jin-Ho centered himself and entered the Training Room.

Jin_ho was confused upon entering the Training Room. He expected to be welcome to sight of several of his peers training and an Instructor awaiting his arrival to put him through some kind of test. Instead he was introduced to a dark, empty room. s he entered, the doors shut behind him with a loud clang. This was most odd, Jin-Ho mused in Korean if this was a test or something. He tried to focus and see in inferred, but all he got for his trouble was a headache. Jin-Ho wandered farther in, preparing himself. The air around started to rapidly dry and static electricity began to build up. Anyone in the room would have their hair standing on end. No visible electricity could be seen though.

Sebastian woke with a little grumble and groan glancing to his digital clock. He didn't mind his own job he had organized for himself, but it didn't make mornings any easier. Reluctantly, he left his bed to gaze out his window and there was a certain buzz of activity in the air that he looked forward to chiming in on. It was all for the best cause.

There were supernatural children to be trained. Many of them and their powers had extraordinary potential. Some of them weren't prepared for the real field as based on the illusions he would induce on them. It would either come down to a lack of mental coping, power execution or unity. Primarily unity. That needed much polishing. But he didn't feel confident in gathering them all to speak of ,if they faced the real deal - a wendigo for instance. The clever, quick cannibalistic creature would have a feast of them because they'd work as individuals and not a team. That wasn't entirely an uplifting appropriate speech to inspire or correct errors.

He served himself some breakfast in the kitchen area then strolled to the training room to prepare what obstacle he might offer for them today. Whatever it was, he knew it had to exert some mental capacity as well as physical energy and of course work their powers. Sebastian brushed through the doors of the empty room, ideally used for the training sessions that included power usage.

It was routine for him to eye every corner of what room he entered and hoped to spend some time in. A silly gesture for peace of mind but when he spotted two figures. As he focused he identified the two eager students. "Charlotte. Jin. Haven't you better things to do?" He said in light-heart with a smile. Sebastian didn't mind their presence at all. He plucked at his slice of toast. "Have either of you at least had breakfast?" He asked casually, dusting the crumbs from his fingers onto his plate.

He didn't want them swept away in training their powers already when he had an exercise planned.

For once, Tyler was up and about with a spring in his heel for a morning. And he was feeling genuinely good as far as morning standards went. On his own run, he passed the Herring siblings in a blur and smirked to himself while they bickered in the good old sibling fashion. Tyler could not imagine running at such a normal pace and puffing in the process or even having to hold such determination to conquer the distance as Liam. It was something rarely experienced for him.

Tyler imagined it would suck to have to train in fitness. The thought made him more thankful for his gifts. He still insisted his own runs were exercise and counted towards productivity, just less challenging so he didn't have to do weight-lifting exercises. He had already previously made the mistake in claiming there wasn't any fitness training for him to really do...

Then he spotted Evonne, frowned and followed her. She made him worry sometimes with her recent love of business so it was an obligation. He flashed pass and knocked his elbow into the man's head that stalked towards the red head. He had seen her run into the room. "Come on Evie." He said gently, with his eyes focused on the down man.

As Lilith's song came to an end she abruptly stopped herself, mid kick. She had been working out in one of the training rooms since 4 a.m. that morning and, if the length of her playlist had anything to say about it, she had been there a while. Lowering her foot Lilith stared at the punching bag in front of her, her breath labored and sweat glistening on her skin. For a moment Lilith considered staying and skipping group training but decided against it and grabbed a towel out of her bag. Due to her practically living in the training rooms, this one especially, Lilith had helped pay for renovation of the room. These changes included the addition of a side room with showers in it as well as a mini kitchen in the corner and a futon against one of the walls. Heading to the shower room Lilith hopped in and took a quick cold shower. Emerging she heard some of the other starting to wake up in their rooms.

Letting out mumbled swears Lilith headed over to the mini kitchen and pulled the milk and a container full of fresh cut fruit out of the fridge. Setting the food down on one of the two small counters Lilith unplugged the electric kettle she had used earlier to plug in the blender. Tossing a few handfuls of fruit in the blender with some ice from the freezer and milk Lilith grabbed a cup as the machine blended the mixture into a smoothie. Due to her power Lilith could only eat fresh food, grown naturally on the grounds. As such she usually cooked her own food, utilizing the kitchen at night, after the smell of whatever else had been cooked is gone, to cook her next day’s meals and refrigerate them in what she considered her room. While they had offered her an actual room at first it took all of a week for them to realize it wasn’t going to be used and they instead helped her renovate one of the less used training rooms. After drinking her smoothie, eating some of the fruit and one of her homemade granola bars, which were actually quite popular in the facility, and picking up after her quick meal Lilith decided that enough people were awake for her to be out and about.

Walking down the hall Lilith almost felt sad that out of all the people here she had no firends. Almost. She didn’t trust people, period, it had been that way every since she arrived at Outskirt. Sebastian was the only person this unspoken rule was ever lenient to though only to a certain extent. Entering the main training room she found Jin, Sebastian, and Charlotte in there but instead of walking in and going to lean against the wall in silence like she usually did to wait for a lesson she flinched and swore, jumping back into the hall. The amount of static energy in the room not only felt like being stung by a thousand bees but also sounded like a blender with forks in it. With a sigh Lilith focused her powers and senses to where her prominent sense was taste, it being the one least likely to work against her. Walking back into the room at a leisurely pace Lilith went to her usual spot and leaned against the wall in silence.
