Liam stands with broad shoulders at 6 foot flat. His athletic build contours to his body, making everything fit proportionally the way it should. He’s got a semi-chiseled chest that add on to his muscular body. Liam has that sort of mysterious look about him. He seldom smiles and often looks like he’s deep in thought about something That’s not to say that he never smiles, because he does, and when he does, his smile shines warmly and welcoming of all new faces and friends. But Liam definitely hold up the part of mystery guy when meeting someone new. His thick eyebrows often furrow over his bright green eyes. This can sometimes make him look like an asshole, but whenever he catches himself doing it, he tries hard to look less intimidating. His style contributes also to this mysterious look of his. He typically dresses casually with a pair of jeans, boots, and a t-shirt or a casual button up. That’s not to say Liam doesn’t know how to dress up though, because he can clean up quite nicely with the effort. Liam has a few tattoos to add to his look: a rose on his shoulder and tree and celtic band on other arm.

      ✦ Neat ✧ Organized ✦ Level headed ✧ Realistic ✦
      ✦ Protective ✧ Strong Willed ✦ Kind ✧ Warm ✦
      ✦ Temperamental ✧ Overprotective ✦ Quiet ✧ Shy ✦
      ✦ Mysterious ✧ Anal ✦ Mistaken for pessimistic ✦
✧ Mistaken for believing he is superior to everyone ✦

His shy and quiet personality often gets mistaken for him thinking he’s above everyone else. However, when speaking of Liam this is the furthest thing from the truth. Liam is very down to earth and very centered in his own two feet but he is by no means self-centered. He sees life for what is right there in front of him and doesn’t like to stray from the facts of life. He’s a level headed guy and knows what to expect out of life, unlike his younger sister who almost always has her head in the clouds. Liam is very realistic about nearly everything in life, and he feels that is what helps him keep moving forward. Keeping a true perspective of life is what Liam believes will get him through life. He usually keeps to himself which gives him a few different looks from people. They either assume he’s too stuck up to talk to people or that he’s hiding something. Neither of which is true. Growing up with the life he did, he was basically conditioned to keep quiet about his life. Not necessarily hiding a secret, but rather omitting things that outsiders simply did not need to know about his life. He adapted this personality as his own and simply went on through the rest of life keeping to himself rather than sharing every detail of his living with others.

The shy and quiet guy that Liam projects isn’t a false projection of who he is, but it also isn’t all he is. There’s a lot more to Liam than what meets the eye, but he wouldn’t be the one to share any of it. Under all the quiet, is a very kind man. He’s warm and welcoming and will openly have a discussion with anyone who chooses to engage him in such. If anyone were to ask, Liam would say “I’m an open book if you ask, but otherwise I’m not turning the pages to this book.” He has no problem discussing aspects of his life with those who ask, the only problem Liam sees is that most people don’t ask because they care, they ask merely so they can know what to use against you. He’s weary about what he shares and with who, but he is still friendly regardless who he is speaking with. There aren’t many people Liam dislikes, but there are certainly people he chooses to avoid for personal reasons, whatever they may be.

For Liam, being a big brother is everything. He is very protective in nature, and it can sometimes come off a little strong. He has the best intentions but it can often drive people away. With Alex there is no boundary though. He grew up in a good school, a good home, a good neighborhood, but with many secrets. He grew up watching over Alex, making sure she was never using her powers where and when she shouldn’t be and making sure none of the other kids were picking on her for being a little weird. He had a lifetime to discover what drove Alex insane and he worked on that. At times, Liam can be a little intense but it has never harmed anyone and they were always with the best intentions. And as kind and protective as he is, there are moments when Liam simply snaps and lets things get the best of him. He was a temperamental child and the same is true of him now.

These quirks of Liam aren’t the only thing to him either. As level headed as Liam is, none of that would be possible if it weren’t for his overbearing nature to organize everything. Liam is huge on personal space as most people just don’t understand the importance of keeping everything neat and tidy. He can be really anal about the way he does things or the way his room is set up and can easily get agitated if that space is invaded and disturbed. He keeps journals to keep track of his life, and he feels it helps him to stay level headed.

H I S T O R Y

Dee grew up in a small suburban town in New Hampshire, where there was rarely anything other than gossip and passing celebrities. She grew up in a home that was fairly normal, until she found out her father was different from other dads. Dee’s father, Dennis, was ex-navy and once retired from the Navy worked as a financial manager for two different organizations. It was in high school that Dee discovered her father was one of the ‘Specials’ the kids in her school talked about. Dennis had the ability of power absorption and sensing, where he was able to recognize superhuman abilities in others and copy or absorb the powers of that person. When absorbing powers, Dennis would only be able to obtain one at time for a total of 24 hours or until he absorbed another power. The gene skipped Dee’s generation. The same went for Dee’s husband, James. He also grew up in a family that came from money and abilities. His mother possessed powers or power negation and telepathy. Unlike Dee however, James was unaware his mother had these abilities until he confided in her about his own children, to which she revealed the gene derived from her generation.

Liam and his sister grew up a little differently than the rest of the kids in their neighborhood. Their parents knew from a very early on age that each of their kids were gifted with something but they weren’t quite sure what. Growing up wealthy definitely helped the family, however. The first of their kid’s powers came before both were 5 years of age. It started with things flying across the room with no explanation why. Whenever Liam would get upset or overexcited, something would fly overhead and smash against the wall. The first thoughts that came to mind was that their house was possessed, but after many meetings with local priests, after many new houses, and after many doctors’ visits, they came to the conclusion that this was something about their son that was different. That’s when they began looking into a program called “School for the Powered Gifts.” Liam was enrolled for a few short years and was able to learn how control his ability but was removed from the program when the government started attempting to buy off the Herrings’ son as a government weapon. The family disappeared for a few years, but a few years later Liam’s sister, Alex, was born and they discovered she too had special abilities like her brother.

The family moved to Connecticut after running from state to state trying to escape the government’s harassment. They attempted to live as normally as possible. The kids were not allowed to use their powers outside of the house and was to tell no one about these abilities. Upon moving to their current home in Connecticut, Dee and James had a training center created in the basement of their large home so their children could train safely. As the two grew older, both parents knew that their children needed more than what they could offer and thus Liam and Alex went to train at the center known as “the outskirts of the world.”

With their kids training from a young age, Dee and James were able to create as normal a lifestyle as possible. James founded an energy business with the help of his children who taught him all about energy conversion with their abilities. Dee became a lawyer. The entire family has always been close with the exception of Dennis Silo. Dennis has been out of the Herring’s life for over 7 years now and it is unknown if he is still alive.

His feet hit the pavement hard with each step. His heel touched down, then his toes followed, then his entire foot was off the ground as the other foot followed its steps. His breathing was centered and his eyes focused on the road ahead of him. The beads of sweat that dripped down his forehead, narrowly escaping his eyes, hit the ground with each pounding step. He ran with no destination. Miles of land lay ahead of him and he planned on running most of it. Liam ran to escape the world around him. He was an escapist in this way. He didn’t like confronting people, or his problems, so instead he ran to clear his mind. He tried his best to stay in shape and to keep his training up. He started training with his parents and grandmother at a young age and as he got older, he didn’t slow down. He always brought Alex along because he felt that without him, she wouldn’t do anything.

He slowed his run to a jog and occasionally peeked over his shoulder to see if Alex was keeping up. He’d slow down to her pace and jog next to her until she sped up a little. And when her pace stayed the same, he’d get behind her and push a little. Alex would complain every time. “Liam, cut it out!” Liam would stop pushing at her back and jog beside her again. “Well if you hurried the hell up, I wouldn’t have to push you everywhere, Alex!” Alex would huff and puff at Liam, but to him it made no difference what the hell was coming out of her mouth. He just wanted her to be properly trained. Liam ran ahead of Alex and called back out to her. “Let’s go Alex. Pick it up.”

Alex groaned as her brother called out to her, she groaned when he slowed down, and she groaned when he’d push her to make her go faster. Alex was starting to think that all the words in her vocabulary were escaping her and she was only able to make sounds like cavemen once did. She understood that she needed the training and that was why she was in the stupid place to begin with but it frustrated her that Liam was always the one doing the training with her, during her personal hours nonetheless. She wanted to have time for herself. She didn’t want to be stuck with her brother running, she wanted to train her power. She wanted to do what she wanted to do. She wanted to hang out with her friends instead.

Alex jogged slowly behind Liam and when he finally came to a stop, she walked the rest of the way to him. She wasn’t as intense in her training as Liam was, and she was sure that this was the reason Liam had no friends. “Are we done yet?” Liam rolled his eyes at his sister but nodded his head as well. “Yeah dumbass, we’re done. You know, you’re going to have to be able to catch up one day. It’s gonna cost you if you don’t get it together.” Now it was Alex’s turn to roll her eyes. She didn’t respond to her brother. Instead, she turned away from him and started heading back to the building so she could shower and do something other than train with Liam.

After spending most of the morning practicing shifting Stella walked outside and began to stretch her body was tired from working so much but her mind was racing the sun was bright and the sky was clear a perfect day for a quick jog around the grounds. She took off at a slow walk and gradually sped up graduating from a walk to a jog to a full on sprint. As she neared the end of her run Stella could see two figures in the distance, she smiled at I herself, knowing exactly who it was she pushed herself to run faster and as she approached her two friends she shifted forms, she ran up to the brother and sister and stood next to Liam, she smiled at him, even though she looked like him. "So how you two chickens doin?" She smiled quickly shifting back to her usual girly self.
"Hey Alex how's about we leave this pansy and go russel up some grub?" Stella smiled and puffed up her chest acting all tough.

Sebastian woke with a little grumble and groan glancing to his digital clock. He didn't mind his own job he had organized for himself, but it didn't make mornings any easier. Reluctantly, he left his bed to gaze out his window and there was a certain buzz of activity in the air that he looked forward to chiming in on. It was all for the best cause.

There were supernatural children to be trained. Many of them and their powers had extraordinary potential. Some of them weren't prepared for the real field as based on the illusions he would induce on them. It would either come down to a lack of mental coping, power execution or unity. Primarily unity. That needed much polishing. But he didn't feel confident in gathering them all to speak of ,if they faced the real deal - a wendigo for instance. The clever, quick cannibalistic creature would have a feast of them because they'd work as individuals and not a team. That wasn't entirely an uplifting appropriate speech to inspire or correct errors.

He served himself some breakfast in the kitchen area then strolled to the training room to prepare what obstacle he might offer for them today. Whatever it was, he knew it had to exert some mental capacity as well as physical energy and of course work their powers. Sebastian brushed through the doors of the empty room, ideally used for the training sessions that included power usage.

It was routine for him to eye every corner of what room he entered and hoped to spend some time in. A silly gesture for peace of mind but when he spotted two figures. As he focused he identified the two eager students. "Charlotte. Jin. Haven't you better things to do?" He said in light-heart with a smile. Sebastian didn't mind their presence at all. He plucked at his slice of toast. "Have either of you at least had breakfast?" He asked casually, dusting the crumbs from his fingers onto his plate.

He didn't want them swept away in training their powers already when he had an exercise planned.

For once, Tyler was up and about with a spring in his heel for a morning. And he was feeling genuinely good as far as morning standards went. On his own run, he passed the Herring siblings in a blur and smirked to himself while they bickered in the good old sibling fashion. Tyler could not imagine running at such a normal pace and puffing in the process or even having to hold such determination to conquer the distance as Liam. It was something rarely experienced for him.

Tyler imagined it would suck to have to train in fitness. The thought made him more thankful for his gifts. He still insisted his own runs were exercise and counted towards productivity, just less challenging so he didn't have to do weight-lifting exercises. He had already previously made the mistake in claiming there wasn't any fitness training for him to really do...

Then he spotted Evonne, frowned and followed her. She made him worry sometimes with her recent love of business so it was an obligation. He flashed pass and knocked his elbow into the man's head that stalked towards the red head. He had seen her run into the room. "Come on Evie." He said gently, with his eyes focused on the down man.
