Name: Connor Raleigh
Role: THE HIDDEN
Sex: Male
Age: 18
Description of Physical Looks: His hair and eyes are a soft golden brown color, and (flawless!) fairly tanned skin, which seems to fade every year since arriving at Calpin. He's developed a like for slight stubble, to make himself appear older, much to his aunts chagrin.
Description of Personality: He tends to come off as the brooding type, presenting a rather decent jerkass-idiot facade when dealing with his peers- particularly the ones who seem to be bullied a lot, for some reason, and he has a habit of going along with the crowd just because it's easier. He possesses average intelligence, but he hides it, keeping it confined to the walls of his home, as the people at that school seem to have something against people who are different in any way, for some reason. Also, in the privacy of his own home, he tends to come off as eccentric, easily excitable, and easily distracted, though that's his way of 'kicking back'- once he gets that out of his system, he's rather calm, no matter what.
Reasons for Alignment: The girl is cute, why not?
Relations?: His Tia Rita, his Uncle Jonathan, and Uncle Daniel.
History: Connor was the unwanted result of a teen romance- his dad disappeared into thin air, while his mom was about to just leave him at the hospital when her brother, Jonathan, offered to take him as his own as his wife didn't seem to be able to conceive children. He grew up in the California Bay area until he was 13, when family issues "forced" the three to move with his older Uncle Daniel, despite his protests- even if they were heavily based on investigation discovery. He didn't really want to get on anyone's bad side, deciding to coast through high school, play some sports- such as football and track- get a job... and kinda trample on the hopes and dreams of a cute girl whom everyone seemed to have some vendetta against, never asking, always guilty, always giving her the cold shoulder and cruel remarks just so he could fit in with everyone else. Compared to where he had been, this school had a really serious bullying issues.
Writing Sample (REQUIRED): Connor's alarm went off, and he was about to smack the poor thing into silence when he heard the words "Murder in Calpin". "I knew it! Tia! I told you the small towns are the ones with the awesome murder stories they show on TV!" He ran downstairs to the main TV, turning it on, letting it ramble as he got ready for school, paying close attention, waiting for a name, to judge whether or not he was screwed and whoever killed the poor sucker had nothing against him or his family. Sure, pretty much everyone there was on a first name basis, but that didn't mean everyone was like family. If anything, he got along with everyone- wait. There was only one person in this whole town whom everyone hated upon for no particular reason.
'Psht, nah, a girl like her? That's...impossible. She couldn't hurt anyone like that...she never talks back or anything.' "But who could be the suspect?"
"Don't start playing detective, Connie, you know how those end up. Leave it to the police in the area."
"Stodn- Don't call me that! I'm a full grown man! And don't sneak up behind me!"
"Whatever you say." Pause. " Connie."
"It's CONNOR, Uncle Daniel!"
It looked like his Uncle was about to repeat his nickname again, so he simply walked out. "I'm getting breakfast at school! Bye Jon! Adios, Rita!" 'And maybe catch a glimpse of the crime scene...be on TV...'
