Shane has a slim, athletic body type that can pull off almost any clothing. He has a symmetrical face with piercing greenish blue eyes. He has blonde hair with brown roots. He is usually clean shaven but you will occasionally find him with some stubble.
As mentioned before, he can pull off virtually any clothing. He prefers to dress in things that make him a more "cool guy" feel though. You will almost always see him with a leather jacket on, no matter the temperature or the weather. He prefers to wear jeans, because they go with everything and they generally aren't affected by the weather.

Shane is a jokester. He is constantly pulling pranks on people, this does not exclude his teachers and people he respects. He has a way of dealing with life where he doesn't really take anything seriously and just laughs at things that should be depressing. This usually uplifts people, but there's the occasional person who takes life too seriously and gets angry. He is extremely sarcastic most of time, including at the worst moments. He will talk that way to anyone and always gets a kick out of it.
He is an extremely loyal person despite his childish attitude and lack of seriousness. Anyone he views as a friend, he will always support them and he hopes that they do the same for him. One of his biggest personality flaws is that he can trust people too much. If they betray him, he is devastated and extremely angry. Which can make him become reckless and sullen.

History:
Shane Benningworth was born was born to a mother with close to nothing. His father had made his mother pregnant and once he found out he fled. Shane never learned about his dad and never wondered about it because he thought all he needed is his mom. He and his mother lived in an alleyway in New York, New York. It was discovered after a while that he was able to use mind control. Though he was only able to use it by touching the person that he wanted. At first though, it was not a strong skill. It was like he was only able to suggest that thing that he wanted them to do. Then over the years, it became stronger and stinger until he was able to make them do a series of things like have them give them food or something like that. Over the years, he and his mother started to rack in some money because his mother would ask him to rob stores at the young age of fifteen. His mother taught him some bad morals and he really liked his mom and didn't want to lose her like he lost his father. At the age of sixteen, he realized that what he was doing was wrong and started to stand up to his mother.
On his twentieth birthday, he got up to go find his mom but she wasn't there. Instead, he found a ransom note. He panicked and went to search for the money that they were asking for. He went to the meeting place with the money and met with the group that had taken his mother for ransom. It turns out it was an extremely evil group of villains. He gave them the money and they gave him his mother... Piece by piece. They had cut off all of her limbs and put them in front of him. He was absolutely terrified. He wasn't terrified of what they had done to his mother. He was terrified of what they might do to him. They had slowly encircled him when he was watching one of the members drop off the limbs. Just when they were about to grab him, a man came in and flew off with him.
He never saw the man's face, but he knew he was a hero. That was when he had the motivation to do good for the world. He loved the feeling of being saved, it made him feel great happiness and gratitude towards the man. He decided then that he was going to join the heroes so that he could do some good for the world. It was payment to the man for saving him. He signed up to be a hero and it has been like that for three years.
