Serenity kept walking in silence, tapping her fingers on the side of her legs as she slowly wandered through the campgrounds. When she lifted her head from her phone she noticed Jessica and Micah had finally arrived. She quickly ran over towards Jessica with a huge smile on her face.
"Oh my God! I can't believe you made it, I didn't think you were going to come. I thought maybe your parents found a way to get you out of the camp thing," the brunette wrapped her arms around her best friend then glanced over towards Micah, finding that he seemed a bit upset or unsettled.
"So, what crawled up his butt and never wiggled its way out?" she questioned with a joking tone.
Jayce sat in the limo in complete silence listening to his father go on and on about the scholarships Jayce had received from many different colleges for football. At this point he didn't care about going into college right away, he needed a break from all things school. He couldn't believe that even though he had already graduated from Monroe High that he had to go to this stupid camp, after all what was the point in it if he was never going to interact with these teenagers the following year anyways?
"Are you even listening to me son? Jayce's father questioned with concern. Jayce turned his focus away from the window towards his retired professional baseball player father and rolled his eyes.
"Look Dad, I already told you that I was going to sit this year out and enroll into college the following year. What's the big deal here? It's not like it's your life you're looking out for, this is mine." Just as Jayce finished speaking they pulled up to the camp, the limo driver opened the door and helped Jayce with his bags before Jayce hurried on his way away from the car and onto the campgrounds before his father was able to let out another word.
As he walked he noticed his ex, Serenity speaking with the gorgeous Jessica Jones. His face lit up with a huge smile but walked straight passed them so he could get into the cabin and put his things away. He didn't want to lug everything around with him all night.
Trevor quickly climbed out of the packed vehicle, hating that he had to come to this stupid camp anyways. He didn't get along with many people and he never planned to get along with most of the losers at this camp anyways. At least his skater buddies were going to be around with him as well. He hung his guitar over his shoulder held his duffell bag in his left hand and skated towards the cabins hoping to find any sign of any of his skater buddies so he'd know where to set his things. He didn't want to interact with anyone else at this moment, so he tried his best to lay low and keep as far away from mainly the jocks. He most certainly wasn't in the mood to deal with any of them.
