The Outside:
Woe to all living, human souls...
While the Dome is a place of beauty, outside of it is a world ruined by the virus called the Touch. Everyone outside must wear white safety suits than try to keep people from touching each other, but it doesn't work too well. Bodies are practically piled up, the insane and the sane at war with one another, cities in ruins.
The government is completely gone, no rules, so people run around stealing and killing for shelter, food, and water. Grocery stores are practically empty of food, filled up with people taking shelter there. The biggest plot of all the insane is to attack the Dome, for they hate the humans that are hiding safely in there. Soon, humanity might as well be classified as extinct on the outside of the Dome, for everyone could be gone at any moment.

The outside is practically just anywhere in the world outside of The Dome, although it will be mainly set in America. Here the Touch is still spreading, hundreds of people dying every day.

William saw the girl run, then turned back to the man.
"I'm not a over reactor, but I'd appreciate it if you would stay away from me too, okay, mate?"
She told him, glancing at the corpses that were surrounding them. She stepped around him, looking around with a small curiosity. Her eyes wander to a notebook on the ground. She picks it up, and blows off all the specks of dust that were covering it. William flips some pages, and scowls.
