...The Flames Of Beauty Will Burn Forever Bright Inside...

.::What Do Ye Look Like And Wear?::.
Inferno has always believed true beauty is inside and not out though other's could disagree with the fair goddess. Many goddesses only focus on their looks while Inferno could care less but that doesn't stop her from being as beautiful as she is. With flowing midnight black hair that reaches down to her thighs, the silky tresses of hair take on a dark violet hue when the sun shines on them, making Inferno's appearance almost enchanting. Her skin is a flawless milky white and contrasts beautifully with her dark hair. Her eyes are a blazing crimson like that of an eternal flame and the bright orbs are surrounded by thick dark lashes. Though fire is never one color so Inferno's blazing crimson eyes change color sometimes, either to a bright orange, hypnotizing gold, warm chocolate brown or a soft violet. Inferno's appearance is elegant, soft and graceful, that of a sophisticated lady. She stands at an average 5'7" with a willowy yet curvy figure, with long legs, wide hips and a thin waist. Inferno prefer's traditional clothing so she is usually seen in a white and red priestess kimono

Purple Flames are hotter then Red but are still used for means of destruction. Inferno can control any type of fire out there including holy and hell fire. She can also create and control lava and magma and when angered her whole being transforms into flames. She's also stronger and fast then she looks. Inferno's weapon is a large bow and enchanted arrows. A list of what she is capable of.

...If You Wish To Know More About Me...

.::Are Your Talented?::.
Archery || Inferno has never not hit her target.
Singing || Even for a goddess Inferno has a beautiful voice.
Kindness || For being the goddess of Fire Inferno is very kind, especially to children and people she cares for.
Her Powers || Inferno has amazing control over her powers. Its surprising since Fire is such an unpredictable element. She's very proud of her powers.
Control || Inferno has shown only a few times the true destructive power of her element and it is very dangerous. She was very close to becoming a titan because of this but she has somehow gained more control of her powers then any other god and goddess.
Rekindling || Inferno has practiced rekindling allowing her to create Fire underwater and in ice. Her Flames is eternal.
Shapeshifting || She does it with ease.

.::No One Is Perfect So What Are Your Flaws?::.
Hot Temper || Inferno has a very dangerous temper. She has learned how to control it but sometimes even that isn't enough.
Favoritism || Inferno loves human children but once they grow older she starts to dislike them like the other gods.
Pure || This is a good thing as much as a flaw because, even with her age, Inferno is very innocence and pure meaning she can be corrupted without even knowing it.
Knowledge || She is incredibly smart about things she thinks are important, like facts but not feelings.

.::What Do Ye Fear?::.
Herself || Inferno has a fear of herself, afraid of what would happen if she ever lost control over her anger.
Death || She isn't afraid of her own death but the death's of people she cares about.
Spider's || Its a silly fear for a goddess but Inferno is terrified of spider's.
The Titan that opposes her || A battle of life or death.
Being Corrupted || She fears of becoming evil because she truly doesn't know what is evil and isn't.
Being Alone || The thought of loneliness frightens her.

...Never Let Your Past Define Who You Are...

.::What Are You Like, Personally?::.
Inferno has two different personalities, the good hearted woman who's innocent and mature. And the hot temper Fire Goddess she tries to hide. Inferno is a very kind woman, she cares and loves and would never even think about hurting anyone, physically or emotionally. She loves human children, but only hen their children, for once they grow older their purity becomes tarnished with lust, lies and hate. She's very calm, wise, intelligent and mature, though not over all things. She's a very strong woman, always putting other's before herself and if she thinks someone is making a mistake she isn't shy ti voice herself. She puts words over violence as much as she can but of course not everything can be solved by talking about it. Her peaceful ways are strange since she is such a dangerous and unpredictable element. Though there is that hot temper that can release her violent nature. No matter how much she denies it Inferno is hot tempered and angers easily, though she controls it. Whenever she can't though people see the true destructive power of a blazing flame and not some secondary fire user but the true controller of it. No one can out match her fire and they will get burned if they try. Inferno is very protective of people she cares about so you never want to mess with her loved ones.

.::What About Your Past?::.
The first flame ever made was during a storm, when lightning first hit the ground and sparked the grass. That little spark grew into an ember and that ember into a flame. Then the rain soaked the grass and the flame vanished but left behind was ash. Having been drawn in by its beauty Life decided to bring the flame back, but as a being that couldn't be extinguished. So a child was born from the ashes and Life it took into its custody and cared for the child, both Death and Life agreeing that the name Inferno suited the small girl. So from then on they raised the child until it became a strong young woman. In her youth Inferno was curious about many things and didn't have the control that she has now. But during those times an accident happened, Inferno had become enraged when she saw the human boy she had admitted her love to kiss another. The whole kingdom was burnt to a crisp and Inferno was heart broken and depressed. She hadn't meant to hurt so many people and that killed her on the inside that she did. Seeing that Inferno was in such great distress Life and Death took away her memories of the event but left the life lesson. Inferno now only has nightmare's of that night.

"There is a castle on a cloud, I like to go there in my sleep," the line from a human song replayed in her mind again and again. The Water Goddess had begun to nod off in her prison cell, ice creeping out from below her and extending the very ends of the concrete walls. This room used to be beautiful, she used to be beautiful and although the mirror might reveal otherwise, Frost believed that she was hideous with the scars the Titans had maimed on her. The door began to creak, someone was trying to break through her ice. Frost slowly opened her eyes, wincing as she shifted positions on the cold hard floor of the bedroom. A crackling sound was audible whenever Frost took a breathed in, which meant that her skin was drying up and if Frost didn't get water soon, she would surely suffocate. A terrible tapping noise followed the creaking of the door and someone walked inside; Sora, Frost could tell by the way the girl strode across the area, as though she commanded everything in the world. The Titan of Pain stopped right in front of the Goddess, a bottle of water in her grasp. "The other Titans said if I didn't pour this on you, you would drown on dry land." Sora opened the container and chugged it, pouring the last drop onto the ground. "Oops."

"No worries," Frost shook her head, a thin smile splaying onto her pink lips. "Accidents happen," Frost made a fist and Sora reached for her neck, a terrible noise coming from the Titan's throat. The water slowly began to snake its way out of the Titan's body, splattering Frost in an almost refreshing way. When Frost had seen enough struggling and had enough water she unballed her fist and watched Sora crumple to the floor. "Oops," the Goddess mocked and leaned against the wall, running a hand up her none flaky skin. "Did you know the body is made up primarily of water? Even you Titans and us Gods have it."

"I'll kill you!" Sora growled and Frost giggled, "you can't stupid! You weren't made to oppose me." Sora marched up to Frost and leaned down over the Goddess, a disgusting brown liquid dripping from Sora's mouth. "If I can't kill you, I guess I'll just inhibit you until you're not needed anymore." The Titan pried Frost's mouth opened and allowed the poison to drip down the woman's throat. "Now we'll see who can't kill who."

"Careful Pain, you keep poisoning me like this and I'll build up antibodies." Frost smiled despite the pain as Sora went stomping out of the room, no doubt to report how infuriating Frost's actions were. That was the point of course, to make sure that she was as annoying as possible so that they would kill her. Despite the poison surging through her body, Frost walked over to the window and starred out between the bars; she missed outside. The only time they ever let Frost out was when they wanted a change of scenery for interrogation. Once Frost had told them that she had no information, Orsus had locked her in a cage outside for a week with no food or water, thinking that it would get her to tell them something. Why hasn't he killed me already? I really wish he would. Frost winced and clasped her hands against her chest where the pain was stemming from. She was weak, it's true, but Frost would not let this poison get to her. "I am not as languid as they think," she uttered in a breathy voice, sinking to the ground. "I will not succumb to their demands," fierce determination spread from her chest to her fingertips, or maybe that was the poison? Frost stood shakily and grabbed one of the bars on the window to support herself. The metal began to creak under her weight and broke, sending the Goddess back to the floor. Frost stared at the bar in her hand with surprise, wondering how she had never thought of getting out this way before and began to peel them one by one off of the window; obviously the Titans were not as smart as Frost had once thought.

"Almost," Frost breathed as she broke off the last piece of metal and stood, her breath coming out in swift puffs of excitement. Quickly, Frost ripped off the bottom of her already torn dress and clambered onto the ledge; gulping as she looked down. It was several stories from the window to the ground, but from the Tower to the Earth would be another hundred thousand. The door began to open and Frost jumped, a male voice cutting through the air like a knife. Pain shot through the Goddess's body when she landed, but there was no time to assess the damage. Frost ran to the edge of the grounds of the Tower, peaking over the ledge. There were more voices behind her, yelling at her, she had to jump now if she wanted to get away!

The poison was becoming more prominent, Frost's vision blurred and her body swayed, the Goddess lost her footing and realized she was no longer looking at the ground, but rather up at the Tower that was quickly fading. The sky went from a beautiful dark blue dotted with millions of stars and began to change shade, becoming lighter as she picked up speed. "What do you do when you fall a hundred thousand feet?" Frost asked no one, as there was no one else falling from space to the Rarth at the speed of a commit with her. Her eyes began to glow and Frost manipulated the water in the clouds that were below in order to have them catch her, but in her weakened state it wasn't enough and only slowed the fall. Life, I'm so sorry I've failed, the ground was a lot harder than Frost had anticipated, a terrible crack! and boom! Could be heard throughout the forest, so loud that it scarred the birds and they flocked away from the space where the Goddess had landed. Frost's body sparkled, changing into her human form, little hands and feet protruding from a tattered dress that was now far too big for the child sized Goddess. Frost wasn't dead, not yet, but she would be soon if no one helped her.

"She... Got away," Sora stared over the edge in disbelief. She had believed that no God or Goddess could break through the Titan's prison, especially not one as stupid and as delicate as Frost. "Orsus is gonna be pissed," it's a good thing Sora hadn't installed whatever Frost had used to get out, otherwise she would probably be receiving a face full of scream. Orsus obviously couldn't go to retrieve the Goddess or surely Orsus would kill her and quite frankly, they still needed Frost to complete the plan. So, who could Sora enlist to bring back the woman? Galahad would be perfect for this, but he had a tendency to bring back his victims a bit... late. Miriami or Raidon would be best, Valerie Sora knew next to nothing about; maybe she could call upon a monster to bring the woman back?

What if Frost wasn't alive?! What if the fall had killed her? Then they would be in trouble as there would be no leverage against Life and Death and nothing to seal the deal with the monsters, only a God could give away a planet which was the only reason Frost was being kept alive. Without the stupid Goddess there would be no completion of the plan! Frustrated, Sora stomped into the Tower of the Titans, ringing a bell that could be heard throughout the building. Any Titan that heard the bell would gather in the main room to discuss what the next step was. Of course Sora wouldn't let Orsus in as she already knew what his idea would be and frankly she couldn't condone it. Sora might be crazy, but the Titan knew that it was vital to sometimes allow the enemy to live. Like what she was doing now with Gale; Sora hated that God more than anything in the world, but she knew that he had to stay alive for now so that the torture later would be even worse.

Sora stomped through the glass and metal building and pushed through the french doors into the main hall; taking a seat in Gale's throne. Yes, the Gods had thrones in their meeting room, each one was made of a different material that symbolized what element the God was in charge of, so Gale's throne was a clear plastic with white swirls on it to symbolize the wind. Frost put her feet up on the table and waited, hoping that they would be here soon. Otherwise Sora would do something destructive like set the table on fire, or burn through the rest of the chairs. Sora hated waiting and the longer she had to wait the more her temper would grow.

It was a good thing the summer season hadn't fully come along yet. Her cabin room would probably be a furnace otherwise since it didn't come with any sort of cooling system. That didn't bother Rudy too much though, since the weather was at a nice temperature as it faded from winter. She was glad the chilly days were soon to be over and the school days would be replaced by summer vacation. Not that she disliked school. She was thrilled to see her friends and teachers everyday, it was just nicer being able to sleep in for however long she wanted and have the entire day to do what she pleased.

She sat up in her bunk and looked around the room. Her roommate had gone out earlier, probably to eat or something, and she had been sitting in silence for about a half hour. There weren't any announcements on what the students would be doing that day, not yet, so she guessed she had some free time. Free time that she needed to busy herself with. No way could she sit in this room any longer. This was a camping trip after all, her first trip since starting high school. It was about time she went out and took in the beautiful scenery of nature. She hopped down from her bunk and threw on a pair of tan shorts and an orange and blue striped tank top. After lacing up her ankle-high boots, she left the cabin and made her way outside.

She stretched her arms over her head with a smile as she took in the sunlight that shone. From the looks of it, the other students on the trip had gotten similar ideas to spend some time outside. 'I wonder what Esme and the others are up to?'

There was no sign of them from what she could see and she shrugged to herself. So she had some time to herself for now. Her friends would show up at some point. For now she'd take a little walk to the stream uphill from the camp. It was sure convenient that there were plenty of hiking trails about the forest. Well, it was a commonly used campsite, after all.

What's Life Without A Little Risk?

Image

"Mawhahaha take that you assholes!" Esme shouted at the handheld, the loud shout sounding foreign and strange with Esme's soft tone. Against her grandparents wishes Esme had to bring her psp with her since there wasn't an xbox, wii or playstation within a two mile radius of this place. So she had stuffed her backpack with as many games as she could and hoped she could survive the boredom this school camping trip was going to bring. Sure she had her friends here and they were awesome but nothing compares to a girl and her videogames.....well maybe except a girl and her best friend. She saved after she defeated the boss level and looked up, her violet eyes filling with surprise when she noticed she wasn't in her ~where she had started~ but she was surrounded by thick foliage, wild flowers and tall tree's.

"Shoot I did it again" she mumbled to herself, referring to her bad habit of walking around while playing her videogames. She doesn't even realize she's moving until her attention is off her game. There was one time when Ruby and her went to the beach and Esme being the person she is had taken her psp. Forty-five minutes later when she puts the handheld down she finds herself in a wooden boat stranded in the middle of the lake with Ruby looking for her on the beach. Esme has no idea how she unconsciously stole a boat but the owner of said boat wasn't very happy when she came back to shore. Talk about harsh winds, Esme was sure the owner could have just floated on the lake cause they had so much hot air. But at least on a lake Esme could see where she had to go but now......now she was lost. Sighing to herself Esme started retracing her steps. A half an hour of walking later she was just about to give up when she heard voices up a hill and she quickly scurried towards them. Relief flooded in her when she saw Neko and Attlas.

"Oh thank god! HEY GUYS!" Esme called out while waving at the group. She then ran over to them as quickly as she could only to stumble over a root and face plant into a rock. A mumbled curse slipped past her lips as she lifted herself up and rubbed her forehead. She was sure that would have made her bleed ~like it would to any normal person~ but like many times before when Esme looked at her hand no blood. It didn't matter how many cuts and gaping wounds she had Esme never bled and she healed really quickly. Ya she's a weirdo, no need to tell her she already knows. As Esme stood up she finally noticed the two strangers. One being a woman and the other a child, whom Attlas was holding at the moment. So unknown emotion flared in Esme and she acted on instinct as she rushed over to the child and inspected her. The child looked hurt and when Esme touched her the child's skin was ice cold. Very opposite of Esme's heated skin. She never felt cold in her life and the strange feel surprised her.

"So that's what cold feels like" Esme mumbled more to herself then to the other's. She heard the child's request for water and instantly reached into her backpack and pulled out of unopened bottle of water Esme had.

"Here" Esme offered kindly then pulled away from the girl.

"So should I run ahead and tell the nurse she's got a patient?" Esme questioned the two boys.

"So... We have an uninjured girl?"

((For future reference, Attlas' jacket is Green.))

Attlas shook his head, "I don't know there... She doesn't seem injured, but go ahead and get her anyway." he responded calmly noticing the scratch on Eseme's forehead, "Eseme... Do you need a bandage? You got a nice little scratch there." he asked, since he usually had a first-aid kit in his bag, being an EMT and all. Yet he looked at the girl, and sighed, asking a second question to her. It was a natural question since, a small girl in the middle of the woods without any parents nearby is something not seen too often with where they were and he lived. Thus he asked, "Hey, Jackie... Where are your parents? Wouldn't they be worried that you are out alone like that?" His words were soft, though had the same power that he always had within his voice and body, though it was covered in the calmness and kindness that he showed.

"Aww, I guess I'll just have to settle for second attack. Well that's a good plan, but I have to ask what you want to do if she found help of some sort from humans or a monster. I mean though we could probably take out either possibility, I want to know what you think we should do if this is the case?" Though it was a simple question, Miri had to think about it for a second. It's not like they can just go and kill them because that would distract them from getting Frost and that's what they were here for. "We can just kill the monster if there is one who's helping Frost escape." Miri said then narrowed her eyes a bit. A look she only puts on when she's thinking really hard. "I'd say to be cautious trying to kill a human. We hate to get into any human affairs. That would just slow us down and let Frost escape even farther." The titan concluded. She could feel the elevator plummeting towards the Earth at a fast pace. Weirdly, this was taking a while and it would have been awkward if it wasn't for the fact that Raidon and Miri were friends.

The elevator slowed to a stop and an ding echoed around the small shaft. They were finally at their destination. "Let's just hope that there isn't any monster. Or worst humans." She spat the word out like it was a bad taste in her mouth. It would be an understatement to say that she hated humans. The two titans walked out of the elevator and straight into wildlife. Frost had to have landed here. Miri drew her sword out and walked deep into the forest at a face past, though her feet made no sound. She didn't want to alert anyone of her presence. Then Miri stopped. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She planned on tracking Frost down using a ability that can locate people using emotions. This was a range from people around Miri to as far as another continent though really far places took a lot of energy. Miri concentrated of the aura of colors in the area. She could see Raidon's which was a blue and hers which was also a blue. But she needed to branch out a little more. In her mind she scanned the area farther ahead and then she spotted a group of colors.

They were ranging from black to green and Miri took the black one to be Frost. Opening her eyes, Miri looked at Raidon with a smirk. She pointed in the exact direction where she found the group of aura's. "Found her. She's in that direction. But..she has people with her. When push comes to shove, I want you to get the others away from there, I'll keep Frost at bay." And with that Miri took off in a sprint towards the area knowing that Raidon was right next to her. it was about time they got Frost and too be honest, Miri was feeling a little excited. She was going to have a battle with Frost. Even though she isn't her opposing God, she was in a very weakened state. They would be evenly matched much to her disinterest. 'What if my opposing god is here. What if the God of Darkness was helping Frost.' Miri gritted her teeth. She couldn't let stray thoughts get to her. Frost probably had a bunch of humans around her. She did fall from the sky. However, Miri couldn't shake that thought away.

"No problem, just so you know that when you initially walk up to the group I will stay to the side and walk up from a different direction, that way they might trust me more, and maybe I can get them to believe I'm human." Getting them to believe he was human was... pretty smart. Raidon had the features of a human and most humans didn't have orange hair and eyes with a large sword at hand. Miri continued to run closing in a little more on their targets. Her eyes casted over to Raidon who was swiftly running beside her, her speed nothing on him. They would have to get rid of his sword for the time being. Humans didn't wield heavy armor such as the ones he was wearing. When they got there they were going to have to strip him of his possessions and leave him in just his clothes. Miri didn't like that fact that she was leaving him defenseless. The Titan of Emotions wanted both of them to make it out of there without many bruises. They continued to run hurriedly and soon Miri could sense that were in the vicinity of the group. Far enough that the group couldn't see the two but the titans could see the group.

Miri reached to her waist and pulled out her daggers. She handed them both over to Raidon. A bit reluctantly seeing as she loved those daggers like they were her own. "I want you to use these instead of your swords and take off some of you armor. You look more human without them." Miri said. It took a second but Raidon's two swords and armor were eventually laying on the healthy forest grass unused. Miri didn't want him to go without armor. Somehow she didn't trust humans even if they were weaker than her. Miri peeked behind a tree and her eye caught six people. One of them being a child with white hair and bright blue eyes. She looked weak and Miri instantly knew that this was Frost. Rumor has it that Frost's human form was a child but no one got to see it or lived to tell the tale. Miri looked over one and saw a woman with whitish blonde hair and shockingly red eyes and Miri took a step back in shock. What was a monster doing there? The Titan gritted her teeth and looked at the rest hoping they were just humans. They were.

"Raidon...there is one monster and three humans. Frost is in her human form but it's a mere child. Rumors are as true as they seem. I take back what I said about no sword. We have to face this head on. The monster can probably already sense us so might as well come out of hiding. Pay the humans no mind." Miri was surprisingly having a hard time figuring out what monster the woman was. Something that Miri has seen only once before in her life. And that is a long time. Not only did this frustrate her, it was also the fact that her mind was convinced that more people were coming had her gritting her teeth even harder. She was starting to turn out like Orsus. That brought a small smile from her. Once Raidon put back on his gear Miri walked straight ahead and into their area. They could now see the two Titans as they stood in full armor and weaponry. Even after the circumstances, Miri still wanted to make it out with little bruises. Miri smirked a bit at the odd group. "A god, a monster, and some humans. What are the odds?" Miri said her eyes raking over each one as she spoke of their race.

"Let's not be cliche about this shall we, I really don't have the time." Miri said a hand moving to her hip in a 'I'm tired' gesture, though she was wide awake and alert. "We need the child. I would say the decision is up to you but it isn't." Miri said her hand keeping a firm grasp on her sword. It was now or never.

"I don't trust these two..."

Attlas looked at the two armoured people, they definitely looked powerful. On a quick glance, they were like gods almost, though he was taught the Gods and Goddesses were more kind than them. One was a young woman with red hair, her frame looked light, and as if she'd be a fencer. Though the second one, in all black with short black hair, in Attlas' mind he looked like a bloody wanderer. He knew the fight would be a loosing one, that was a given, though something within him kept him from letting them get what they want, the redhead spoke in a seemingly sharp and aggressive tone,

"We need the child. I would say the decision is up to you but it isn't."

This put a will to fight into Attlas, he took out his hammer, though hidden behind his leg, and spoke with a sincere voice that, to him at least, was unfamiliar, "I do believe it is my choice. She's a patient under my protection. Thus my choice, is a firm no." Attlas spoke, his face was determined, though he was internally confused as to what the hell was going through his head. Since he had said that, he wasn't going to back down from his words now, and soon enough he revealed his weapon, a hammer that soon grew in size, and was basically a warhammer, "You'll have to fight through me first. To get her." he sounded like the normal Attlas, cocky smile and all, he was ready to fight against these two to the death if he had to.

What's Life Without A Little Risk?

Image

Esme just stared wide eyed at the strange pair. Were they crazy? Maybe they escaped from an asylum. A million different idea's steam trained threw Esme's head and a few of them made her giggle. She didn't know how long she was in lala land for but she knew she had to get out and help. She tuned back into the real world just as Attlas held out his hammer. Really?

"Your a dork you know that right Alltas? I've played enough videogames to know your hammer ain't gonna do nothing against swords, you need a long range weapon" Esme started rambling while she unconsciously took the small white haired girl into her arms ~jeez first thing Esme's doing when they get to camp is feeding the damn kid~ and started walking down the hill to camp, which was in sight. Once she shut up Esme dashed down the hill and straight into camp.

Plan of distraction: Rambling while stealing the child.

Plan went perfect.

Shit she left Attlas and Necholas ~and the strange chick~ back with the crazies. Attlas she going to beat her with his hammer. It wasn't her fault she kinda just....forgot about them.

Oh well.

Child were scurrying around the camp site, some giving her strange looks but ~like always~ Esme ignored them. She went in search for Rudy and found her walking around.

"Why hello sweet little star gazer, I need your help so I'm calling on the book of eternal best friendshipness and invoking rule 247, a favor you can't deny....you must feed this child for me while I go all videogame mode and some forest crazies ass" Esme exclaimed loudly, she made her voice deeper when she said 'book of eternal best friendshipness' ~an imaginary book Esme invented when her and Rudy were kids~ and gave Rudy a huge smile as she handed her the small girl.

"Thanks, bye Rudy Tudy" Esme shouted then rushed off. She had a thing for inventing nicknames for people no matter how ridiculous they sound. Esme ran into her room and took her suit case from beneath the bed, zipped it open and dug to the very bottom where she took out fire works and fire crackers. She's never been in a fight before how they hell was she suppose to know what to bring. Thats right she doesn't!

Once she stuffed them into her backpack she went to the kitchen and looked for some of the more flammable things then she took a lighter ~she already had a box of matches~ and ran to the archery area. She grabbed a bow and a quiver of arrows ~quickly dipped the tips into some sort of flammable cleaner~ then ran as fast as she could back to the area she left Attlas, Nec, strange lady and the crazies.

"Time! hell ya only five minutes!" Esme shouted proudly while trying to catch her breath. She prepped an arrow.

"Alright you can continue" she wheezed while still trying to catch her breath.

It was nice, peaceful, quiet. The wind rustled the leaves in the trees and lightly blew Rudy's hair around her shoulders as she listened to the birdsong. She'd reached her destination and was now sitting on the edge with her bare feet soaking in the cool water. She'd hoped to see one of her friends on the path, but there were plenty of trails that they could've gone on and it turned out that this was not one of them. This didn't bother her too much. Sure she would've loved to meet up with her friends and find something to do. Maybe have a climbing contest or see who could gather the most acorns.

At that though, Rudy giggled to herself. She sat quietly for a few more moment, taking in the fresh air and enjoying the cold water of the stream on her legs, until she decided it was about time to head back. She didn't want to be gone for too long since she didn't notify a teacher before leaving. She lifted her feet out of the water and shook them a few times to get the water off. 'Ahh...maybe I should've come in sandals instead', she thought to herself as she slipped her socks and boots on over her still wet feet.

Rudy made her way back down the trail towards the campgrounds, however as she entered the grounds she was approached by her best friend, Esme. Normally Rudy would've ran to her and attacked her with a hug and a smile, but after seeing what, or rather, who Esme was carrying. She instead stopped in her tracks and just stared blankly as a small girl was placed into her arms.

"Why hello sweet little star gazer, I need your help so I'm calling on the book of eternal best friendshipness and invoking rule 247, a favor you can't deny....you must feed this child for me while I go all videogame mode and some forest crazies ass"

"Eh...Ehhh!?"

She blinked in confusion as her friend took off without an explanation in the direction of her cabin. For a moment she thought of following her, but her mind changed once she realized the condition of the girl in her arms. There was blood stains around her mouth and she looked rather beat. Rudy had no idea what was going on and she would surely chew out Esme later, but right now she needed to get the little girl to a bed and away from prying eyes. Really what was Esme thinking just bringing a child into camp like that with other students around? Suspicion would surely rise.

Rudy shook her head and gave the child a determined look, not sure if she was still conscious or not. "D-don't worry! You're gunna be okay!"

She hurried to her room and closed the door behind her. Looked like her roommate was still out. Lucky, too. She probably would've reported it to a teacher right away. Come to think of it, Rudy wondered herself why she hadn't yet done so. Maybe it was the strangeness of the situation at hand? Either way she needed to help this little girl. She could tell the teacher once she was sure the child was alright.

Rudy carefully set the girl on the bottom bunk and made her way to the small sink that was provided. She dampened a rag with warm water and, sitting on her knees beside the bed, gently began to clean off the dirt and blood from the girls face.

ImageFrost had passed out again in Attlas's arms but when she came to, she found that she was suddenly playing catch with the position of the ball. As the girl with black hair ran, Frost could see Miri and Raidon and bit down on her lip hard to keep from moaning. How had they managed to find her so quickly? Surely if they were here already Orsus was hot on her trail. Frost did not want to put all of these humans in danger, especially considering how kind they had been so far. Everything the other Gods had told her about humans was wrong, they were not selfish uncaring people; in fact the humans had been even kinder than some of the Gods themselves!

Frost was suddenly passed to another human and a trickle of blood squirt from her mouth. She surreptitiously glanced upwards at this new character, a stout strawberry blonde with glittering amber eyes. Or at least they looked to be amber in this light, they could have very well been brown. Frost tried to stay awake this time, she would be of no use unconscious, but then again she was also of no use to anyone dead.

Rudy, was that what the one with the silky black hair had called this human? Rudy was placing Frost on a bottom bunk in a small room, the only light source coming from a rather large window on the back wall. A warm cloth was pressed against her face, close to her lips and Frost was almost tempted by the lull of sleep. "I-I...." Frost struggled to prop herself up, "help... them," she gasped, trying to roll out of the bed. Why was her body taking so long to mend? It was then that Frost remembered Sora and her promise that she would make Frost suffer for that little stunt the Goddess had pulled before escaping.

After what felt like forever (but was most likely only a few seconds), Frost managed to sit up and winced at a loud noise that came from outside. "They're g-gonna k-kill," she began to stutter and took a deep breath; she needed to calm down. The Titans did not shy away from killing humans and she knew that even though Raidon had shown a bit of mercy when she was captive; Frost also knew that he had his own agenda. "Them..."

'We must be killers, children of the wild ones. Killers, where we got left to run?'

"A god, a monster, and some humans. What are the odds?"

"Bloody fuckin' brilliant. Couldn't have sent a hydra or a minotaur, could you?", Faust muttered under her breath, sighing in mild exasperation at the two hostile figures. She'd seen it coming, of course-- shit always hit the fan one way or another, and usually faster than she liked; nevermind how her monster-senses had been tingling for the past hour. Faust wished, for once, that things wouldn't be quite so predictable (and therefore would make everything infinitely simpler) but then again, karma had never been kind to her in any respect, least of all this. 'And, fine, I might have underestimated Frost's worth a little. But really, two of them's a bit much.' At least it seemed as though the humans had a death wish-- some of them had the resilience of a damn cockroach. If they were this committed already, then perhaps the kid-God had a chance in their company. Who knew.

And Frost was safely... somewhere, anyway. Which, Faust admitted, was a pretty nifty move on the human's part; shame that they were facing terrible odds, kid might've made it to accomplish things. It made Faust feel a wee bit sympathetic, with the looming threat of imminent death, more if it weren't for the fact that it was looking mighty questionable whether or not she was going to make it out alive. Figured that a few centuries of peace meant a violent and entirely unjustified demise. 'Bloody fantastic, isn't it?'

She idly wondered if Cerberus was having a jolly enough time down in the Underworld. Maybe there was some kind of incredibly convenient teleportation spell (with a wand or something? She'd found Harry Potter extremely ridiculous a quarter through the first book) to switch her with him-- he'd always had more of a thing with fighting. Faust, though; 'too old for this shit'. What the fuck was it, anyway, with the psychopathic fascination? What was it that made Gods, Titans, monsters, and even humans so fixated on strength? Where did all the logic go, the philosophical intelligence to make rational decisions?

Obviously Life was a little mental, to make two of the greatest powers chase each other infinitely through time. Hate was so much a simple thing, the Gods and the Titans achieved as much as a dog did running after it's own tail. 'Which would be a great load of nothing.' Faust had never wanted anything to do with them, they were so fucking pointless--

"Time! hell ya only five minutes!"

--but Death was kind of a bitch. Both literally and figuratively. She still didn't want anything to do with them.

'Fuck.'

She sighed, taking a drag out of the smoke that had mysteriously appeared sometime between the Titans' arrival to now. Faust had been relatively silent and unmoving the entire while, weighing the options and her general level of commitment. She didn't really think Frost so personally important to so easily risk her life protecting her, but there was something a little like pity there (kid's stuck, half-dead, on earth with nothing but teenagers. Who wouldn't feel sorry for her?). If Faust wasn't keen on fighting, then perhaps being diplomatic could be worth a try. Barter for time, anyway. Most powerful beings were pretentious, easily baited into defending their pride-- something volatile, self-destructive.

Why were both of them still around, anyway? There certainly wasn't much stopping them from pursuing Frost: three humans and a monster. Laughable. 'Whatever.'

"Unlike them, I'm not suicidal", Faust shrugged, "Do as you will. But did you really deteriorate that much in the Underworld? For there to be two of you-- were Titans so weak to be unable to capture a mostly defenseless Goddess on their own?" If it hadn't felt like the height of summer before, it certainly did now; an unfortunate side-effect of Faust's betraying her alert nature. In all honesty, she didn't intend on bloodshed still, kid's just an asshole. "Or would you blame the throne, that living in the Gods' tower has made you weak? You've accomplished just as much as they have up there. Which would be, unless you'd like to enlighten me, nothing."

Her tone wasn't so much caustic as sarcastic, slightly mocking. She wasn't particularly threatening really, just being diplomatic. (Ha.)

Raidon
Image

While they ran, Raidon thought of using his powers to dash ahead and meet the group first for his plan, but decided against it. once they reached a certain point, he unequipped his weapons and removed his armor. He just pushed the daggers away with a shake of the head when she tried to give him her daggers, he was sure he'd be fine. When Miri identified one as a monster, he was quite surprised. He didn't hear of monsters traveling with humans and a god often. Sighing he put back on his armor and re-equipped his swords. "That's a bit sad, I would have rather gone through this without interference." he said to Miri. He stood calmly if not a bit relaxed and observed instead of really talking. He noted stuff down in his head about each person as they talked. When the black haired girl rambled then ran away with Frost he smiled and stuck his hand in front of Miri, in case she tried to give chase. "I want to see where she's going with this, we can get Frost after we deal with this, if worst comes to worst I can just dash past them anyway." He let out a small laugh as the girl who was actually a monster spoke. "Big mouthed and brave not bad, would you rather me have sent the rook? You must know which one I am? Why not just go with your instinct and run before the storm breaks out?" He calmed down again after that. It was a bit sad, if they had met in a different situation Raidon might have tried to befriend her.

When the girl returned from wherever she took Frost with a bow, he couldn't help but let a small smile break, even with the odds against them they were going to try and protect a girl they probably had only recently met. He began to point at each in turn "The girl was right, your hammer will need to be held with a lot of skill to make a difference against swordsmen, though I applaud your determination to protect the weak. You girl are quite have some impressive thinking, a bow is a good idea and would be an advantage. Though in this case you are still quite out matched." Before he cold start on what he had gathered of Faust, she spoke. He stared her straight in the eye, the sky now matching the grey of his eyes as he continued charging it once Frost was out of the way. Though his right eye twitched once he showed no other sign of anger, though Miri could probably see the tiniest bit of red flash in his aura. "Well you see, we just arrived and hadn't had much time to search. I can definitely now say how you know what the underworld is like, would you like me to tell them any of my guesses as to what you are?" He suddenly thought of something. He leaned toward Miri and whispered so only she could hear. "Hey Miri? I have a plan to get you through them to chase after Frost. I can't tell you right now I just need to know if you agree or not."

"I-I...."

Rudy's eyes widened slightly and she pulled the cloth away. "I'm sorry! Is it too hot?"

"help... them."

She watched the child make and attempt to move, but struggled against her own weight. She was weak, tired. Esme had said something about feeding her. Maybe she was just weak because she was really hungry?

"Um, hold on a minute...let's see." Rudy pulled her backpack over to her and unzipped it as the child continued to try to sit up. The only thing she could find was a couple of granola bars. If she wanted to get her any real food she'd have to go to the kitchen, risking running into a teacher who might have seen her carrying the toddler earlier. She pulled one of the granola bars out of the back and turned towards the girl again, however she quickly dropped the bar on the floor as the girl sat up.

"Be careful!", she said as she gently put her hands on her girls shoulders to help support her. "They're g-gonna k-kill...them..."

Rudy's eyes widened and she felt her breath catch in her throat. Kill them? Did she mean Esme? "K..kill?" No other words left her mouth for a few moments. Was something seriously bad happening? Had Esme or the others gotten themselves into something dangerous? Who...who was going to ki--

Rudy took in a deep breath and swallowed, trying to calm herself down. "I don't really understand, but Esme can take care of herself. I'd trust her with my life." Rudy once again placed the warm cloth against the girls forehead. "But if there is something bad happening then please explain to me what it is." She gave the child a reassuring smile. "My name's Rudy. I know we just met but I promise you can trust me."

The school trip that Arthur had had no choice but to go on had turned out exactly as he'd expected it to; dull. It was just his luck that his cabin mate was one of the loudest kids in his class and on top of that their room was located furthest away from the kitchen, bathrooms, and center area of the camp. Of course Arthur didn't mind walking, but he still wished that he was closer to everything. Not to mention the few friends he had were all on the opposite side of the camp. If it was up to him, he would've stayed home and spent the weekend at home, but unfortunately he had a mother who wouldn't let him stay home from school unless he was on his deathbed.

With a sigh Arthur turned his face to the early noon sky. He'd spent a few hours just sitting outside before finally making his way to the kitchen and having himself breakfast. Now he was making his way towards the opposite side of the camp where his friends cabins were located. During his walk he spotted a rather unusual sight. Esme had come running into camp with what looked like a small child in her arms, handed her off to Rudy, and then went running off into the forest.

Arthur watched from afar the entire time, not nearly closed enough to hear any of the words exchanged between the two girls. After Rudy disappeared into her own cabin, Arthur was left with two choices; follow Esme or join Rudy and the smaller girl and see what the commotion was all about. He was more curious about the child, but he also wanted to know where Esme had found the girl and why she decided to make her way back into the forest rather than go to the cabin with Rudy.

That was it then, he would follow Esme. This turned out to be more tiring than he hoped it would be, saying as the girl ran the entire time and Arthur nearly lost her. Not that he couldn't run, he just preferred not to. After following her for a while he stopped and hid himself behind a tree a little further off. He figured it wasn't the best idea to walk in on whatever was currently happening. He wanted to know what was going on before deciding whether he should step in or leave. One thing was for sure though, this was far more interesting than sitting around all day at the campsite.

Fire is unpredictable and untamable, its fueled by desires and anger, igniting anything in its path. Fire can't be stopped once it has fully awakened.

Image

Esme heard a commotion from the camp, which was only down the hill from them. Usually you never take your eyes off the enemy ~common horror videogame logic~ but something nagged at her to look over. At first she noticed Arthur just standing to the side lines, but surprisingly she didn't blush and stutter over herself like usual whenever he was around but instead quickly looked past him down to the camp. The beat of her heart picked up a tempo when she saw a giant of a man walking around. What the hell is happening here?! Why couldn't this be like a normal camp trip, like come on!

Esme watched as the young girl, Jackie if she remembers correctly, walk out and stand up to the man. Esme's eyes widened when she watched a sword of ice materialize within the child's hands. Yet the emotion she felt was not surprise. Actually Esme was starting to get mad, her hot temper starting to poke its head out and a burning instinct to protect coursed threw her. At that moment she couldn't give two shit's about all the older classmates and teachers, all she cared about was the younger ones. The burning feeling within started to grow, as if a long kindled fire was starting to spark again. Before she could even think about doing anything different Esme's body reacted ~almost naturally~ as she reached for the lighter she put in her pocket and lit the arrow, which was already secure in her bow. A voice in the back of her mind urged her saying "burn, burn, BURN!" the voice shouted at Esme making itself clearly known to her. What was wrong with her? Is she crazy? Maybe this was all a dream. Either way Esme didn't think of the consequences when she shot the arrow at the giant man's leg, mentally telling the arrow to find a weak, tender, exposed part and make it burn.

And Esme never missed her target.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Orsus was still raging at this point, and he had managed to get a hold of another person in his grip whom was once again lifted off of the ground by their throat. Everything stopped when he heard her voice. "I believe I'm the one you're looking for!" He slowly turned to look at the source, and immediately was confused. He dropped the teen he had as he watched this little child support herself on the door, blood trickling from her mouth. Slowly she moved herself from the door and started towards the titan, who just continued to watch her. "Leave the humans alone!" she shouted as she slowly made her way towards him.

No, no way this was her. Orsus watched her as his helmet suddenly snapped back so his face was revealed, starting to shake his head somewhat in disbelief. He had heard she would take the form of a child when disguising as a human, but Orsus never really believed the idea. But this child was wearing the same dress that Frost had been, and his eye widened as she formed an ice sword in her hand and took a stance in front of him.

"No..." was all Orsus muttered for a moment as he turned himself to fully face her. "This is it? This, is what I get?" He just stared at Frost, who looked like she was barely standing on her feet. She was still battered and bruised, and it looked like the only thing keeping her standing there was sheer determination. From what he could see of her, it wasn't even going to be a fight. One swing of his sword and he was sure she'd be cleaved in two, if not at least have half the bones of her torso be shattered. Frustration began to show more on his face. So many years of staring at this goddess and this is what it all amounted too?! This little girl in front of him who could barely hold the weapon she was threatening him with?! His teeth were grinding together at this point as he slowly looked past Frost, his eye slowly trailing off so that he was looking off to the side. He was sure he was about to snap, but then something crossed his mind and it was enough to stop him as he slowly looked back at Frost.

Not once had he made any motion to grab the sword from his back, and he sneered some at her as he spoke again. "You know what Frost," he started, shaking his head some. "this is not what I want. No Frost, when we fight, when I turn you into a bloody mess of pulp and bone, I want it to actually be a fight." He then looked off in another direction, the one he knew the Tower was in before back to her. "When you are truly ready for this, when you can actually stand on your feet, then we'll settle this." He let out a heavy sigh of frustration, knowing how much longer now that he'll have to wait.

Though, he could still find himself a good fight, something to carry him over until Frost was truly ready. "If you want to avoid the large amount of destruction that is going to occur soon, you best get out of here. Someone has to keep my siblings distracted." With that, he went to turn and walk off, but then he felt a searing pain enter the backside of his knee, where the plates did not cover to allow his legs to bend. He stopped, slowly turning to look towards the pain and saw an arrow, flame flickering off of it as it rested within his leg. Slowly he reached down, scowling as he grabbed the arrow and simply ripped it free, feeling the pain ignite once more as blood dripped from the wound and the arrow slowly began to burn itself away in his hand. He looked up towards the source, noticing one of the humans with a bow in hand, aimed right at Orsus. His expression faded from a scowl to a look of immense rage; at least now when he fought with Miri and Raidon, he would have an excuse to tell them why he lost control of himself. Hopefully they'd believe the claim and not think he was trying to keep Frost free. His helmet finally snapped back into place, the face of the hound hiding his features as he reached to his back and pulled his sword from its place. It was followed soon by him bending his head back and letting out a loud roar of anger and hatred before he immediately broke into a run towards the girl, feet churning up the dirt as he pressed into it despite the pain he felt in his knee and sword in his hands as he brought it back, ready to cleave her in half the moment he reached her..

Fire can't be harmed by material things, for a blade will pass right threw. The fire will be fine but the blade will be damaged. That is the consequence
of playing with fire.

Image

Something sparked in Esme when she inflicted the pain to the giant man, whom was now friant training his way towards her. Did she feel fear? Surprisingly no. She felt the shift in her, she was becoming excited even though she had never been in a real fight before something told her this man could do no true harm to her. Ignoring the people behind her Esme took a firework from her backpack. For some strange ass reason she was smiling, she wanted to giggle. She had heard the man's angered roar and its almost like she adsorbed his rage, fueling her own inner fire. Esme could feel her blood sizzle and skin heat. She felt like she was made of fire ~no matter how impossible it sounds~ and the feeling made her more excited.

'I think I've gone crazy' she thought to herself but it was drowned by that voice again. "BURN!" it shouted loudly in her mind. Esme lit the firework while she held it in her hand, aiming it at the big boulder that had almost reached her. She didn't aim anywhere she just willed the small rocket to hit somewhere vulnerable. The rocket went flying, she didn't even feel the burn as the flame crisped the skin of her hand and arm ~which healed almost immediately somehow~ and hit the inside of the man's elbow joint hitting the skin. He didn't stop and she hadn't excepted him to, it was only a firework, met to anger him more. A smirk adored her face as he swung at her. Esme tried to dodge to the right but his weapon hit her arm, slicing threw her flesh. Esme felt no pain. There was no blood and when she looked over her arm was still firmly attached as if his blade had passed right threw. She knew he hit her, the cut sleeve of her hoodie indicated that. A random thought popped into her head.

'I wonder if that little girl is okay?'

"The Earth may be your toy, but it's my weapon!!"

Eseme ran with the girl, which was a bad idea in Attlas' mind. He wanted to chase after her, but soon glanced at the other man, "She might be right. Though, if you think of harming my friend, or the girl, I'll use my hammer in defense of the two." he responded, before looking at the woman named Faust, "I'm going to find my friend. I trust you can handle yourself correct?" he asked smiling, that is, before darting out of the cabin he was in, and rather easily into and through the forest. He took about five minutes to find something, it looked and smelled like a fire, which made him immediately go for that. He found Eseme, Rudy, Jackie (Frost), and finally a new man, then something strange happened, the man threw his sword after pulling an arrow out of his knee, at Eseme. His mind blanked and Attlas charged, his boots dug into the ground and images appeared in his head, the sword had hit a tree, seemingly nowhere near anyone, and soon he was up close and personal with the man, whom was a war god in his eyes. Attlas spoke, with a unfamiliar voice again as his hammer moved as if he had no weight,

"Gaia's Hammer, help me vanquish this attacker!"

As Attlas' words were stated, his hammer was in movement, earth surrounding it's head into a small spike. Attlas knew, this attack was going to hurt like hell if it hit, even if he couldn't control his own body, he watched almost helplessly as the attack moved with a speed unlike his own.

"I do believe it is my choice. She's a patient under my protection. Thus my choice, is a firm no." Miri laughed. Yes, she laughed. It was loud and boomed through out the peaceful forest. Her laugh lasted a second or two before it died down to a giggle until it completely stop. "If I cared about your opinion I would have never been here, did you even think of that?" She said an amused smile placed on her face. Humans. He then puled out a hammer that seemed to grow into a size that Miri has seen in many battles and wars. She cocked her head to the side and raised a curious eyebrow. "Careful now. A weapon like that needs to be used properly." The titan said raising a stern finger mockingly. "You'll have to fight through me first. To get her." Miri wanted to laugh again but actually held it together this time. "Some brave words from a human. I hate to say that your threat means nothing to me. If I wanted you dead, you would have been. I don't have to 'go through' anybody. Besides I like your spirit." She said. Miri put her swords back in her hilt.

When a girl came running back in, It was then that Miri realized she had taken Frost away. Miri started forward but Raidon but a arm across her chest to prevent her from moving onward. "I want to see where she's going with this, we can get Frost after we deal with this, if worst comes to worst I can just dash past them anyway." Raidon had made another valid point. Miri willed her body not to chase after the runaway goddess. "Unlike them, I'm not suicidal Miri frowned a little. She was hoping for a fight from the monster."Do as you will. But did you really deteriorate that much in the Underworld? For there to be two of you-- were Titans so weak to be unable to capture a mostly defenseless Goddess on their own?" Miri scoffed. Weak. Hardly. If only the monster just knew how strong they could be. "Big mouthed and brave not bad, would you rather me have sent the rook? You must know which one I am? Why not just go with your instinct and run before the storm breaks out?" Miri sighed and crossed her arms. They were doing an awful amount of talking but there was no action.

Miri tuned out for the rest of the conversation believe it or not. It was only when Raidon whispered in her ear that she tuned back in. "Hey Miri? I have a plan to get you through them to chase after Frost. I can't tell you right now I just need to know if you agree or not." Miri smirked slightly. A plan. "I'm in for whatever you have planned." She whispered right back not keeping the excitement from her voice. When Miri turned to look back at the group. The brave boy (Attlas) was running away leaving the monster, Miri and Raidon. Miri rolled her eyes. "Change of plans. I'm going after the boy. You come with." And with that Miri ran and attempted to get to the boy on time but he still made it before her. When Miri reached the place, it was more in a camp site look. She saw the girl who took Frost (Esme), Frost, and...Miri's eyes widened in horror. Orsus. Standing back she watched as the girl got the upper hand on Orsus. Miri studied the battle and watched as his blade made contact with her skin but left no cut. In an instant Miri understood.

She was literally feeding off of Orsus rage which was making her stronger. A behavior Miri has seen before from a specific God. Obviously Orsus hadn't caught on because he was in a rage fit. No stopping him. Miri focused on the girl and mentally pulled the aura from her body a slightly painful process. This was suppose to make her a emotionless soul. Dimming the fire that was raging within her. This would make her more vulnerable. Miri pulled out her sword and ran up to the girl jumping on her back and reaching over to slash across the girl's stomach. Thankfully it made the cut but of course it wasn't deep. Staying on the girl's back she whispered in the girl's ear. "Ever heard of putting out the fire?" Miri jumped off her back and landed on the ground, both feet planted to the floor. Miri being one of the fast thinking Titans had already put everything together. "This isn't a normal battle anymore. This is Gods versus Titans." Miri said getting into a fighting position.

"This is war."

"This is it? This, is what I get?"
Frost was confused, but she didn't not allow it to show. She stood her ground, hands shaking; what was he waiting for? He wanted to end her life, right? "You know what Frost," she stood normally now, her sword still raised in case he had any ideas. "This is not what I want. No Frost, when we fight, when I turn you into a bloody mess of pulp and bone, I want it to actually be a fight." She laughed, quietly at first, then it got louder until it scared the birds away. It almost sounded like a giggle but really it was the laugh of someone gone mad. Frost sunk to her knees, relief shaking through her body. Her sword melted into a puddle that splashed her blue dress and refreshed her skin. She choked on the blood that had pooled into her mouth and the mad giggle slowly turned into a sob that made her look like a brain washed Robin from a Batman movie (not that she knew what that was[Batman Beyond]).

"If you want to avoid the large amount of destruction that is going to occur soon, you best get out of here. Someone has to keep my siblings distracted." Frost nodded her head in understanding, wiped the blood from her chin and the tears from her eyes before she stood to stumble back towards the cabin. It was at that moment that a flaming arrow whisked through the air and landed in a chink in Orsus's armor. "Oh no," she whispered as Orsus roared with rage and started towards the humans. She tried to go after him, following the wake of destruction that Orsus left in his path. "No!" Frost screamed as she watched in horror at Orsus cutting clean through Esme's arm, but the arm didn't fall off, there wasn't even blood. "What?" She got to her feet and stepped back as realization hit her. Esme was a monster! Yes, that was it! That meant that there were two monsters against three Titans! But then the one called Attlas came out with his hammer and started yelling about Gaia. Three monsters against three Titans? Frost started to turn back when Miri decided to join in and she grit her teeth, summoning up every inch of power left and pushing it all out to freeze the Titan of Empathy.

Before the young girl had any chance of answering, Rudy heard a loud sound coming from outside that sounded like the yell of a man. She stood up and approached the window, her eyes widening at the site. The warm cloth slipped from her hand and landed on the floor with a 'plop'. She moved out of site of the window and slumped to the ground so not to be spotted, however before she could even open her mouth to warn the child the door was being opened and the little girl was stepping outside.

"I believe I'm the one you're looking for! Leave the humans alone!"

She jumped up from where she was sitting and made an attempt to follow the girl outside but stopped in her tracks as a blade of ice formed in the girls hand. Rudy had experienced confusion many times in her life, but this was the most confusing thing she had ever witnessed. The man she was facing was huge, like someone out of a wrestling movie, and looked like he belonged in an old ancient war history book. Her heart was racing as she stood in the doorway and watched the other students around her run for their lives. Part of her wanted to run with them. She wanted to run and hide and wait for all the bad things to go away, but she more so wanted to protect the little girl.

She was saved from grabbing her and running when the man mentioned something about not fighting her just yet. Rudy fell to her knees in relief, however her relief was short lived when an arrow flew out of nowhere and shot itself into the back of the large mans knee.

'That's...from Esme's..'

She took in a small breath of air and forced herself to stand up despite her shaky knees. Her dear friend was in trouble. Any second that man would reach her and who knows what he would do to her. "Esme!!" She screamed, launching into a run, however she topped beside the small girl abruptly. Too late. From where she was standing she could do nothing but watch the man's blade slice into her friend's arm, or rather...through?

Rudy could barely keep up with everything that was happening. Esme's arm had been cut off, yet it was still attached and there wasn't even any blood? Now Attlas had joined in and was swinging his hammer at the large man, while another girl whom she didn't know was on top of Esme. Rudy could do nothing. She couldn't understand anything at all. Never had she been so confused before.

She swallowed dryly, holding back the tears that were beginning to form at the corner of her eyes. She was so scared, but she wanted to help her friends. They were in trouble and she couldn't do anything. How could they be fighting like that? Taking in a deep breath she quickly but carefully picked up the small child, interrupting her attack against the female stranger.

"Frost, was it? These people are after you, aren't they?" She said, her voice cracking as she spoke. "I won't let them hurt you! Esme entrusted you to me, so I'll keep you safe!" She stared up the hill where her friends were fighting and then, reluctantly, turned in the opposite direction and began to run as fast as she could. Running was the only thing she could do right now.

The situation had escalated at an alarming rate the second Esme had shot a flame lit arrow straight passed him. He hadn't realized the commotion down the hill in camp, but he could see clearly now that something huge was unfolding. Esme's arrow had made it's mark, but now her target was charging up the mountain straight towards them, breaking down branches and bushes as he charged. Arthur quickly put space between himself and the charging man; a good fifteen feet or so. Anyone could see that the large man was thoroughly displeased with Esme and he didn't want to get in the way. However he was also quite impressed with Esme's boldness, not something she had a short supply in, but dang. She just shot someone with an arrow.

What had happened next was equally as impressive. Who knew Esme was secretly an immortal this entire time? After all normal human beings don't usually survive a severed arm, let alone not even have a severed arm after having a blade slice right through it. Two more had joined in the battle, a strange word to use in this day and age. One was a fairly beautiful girl who proved to be on the side of the larger man, and the other was Attlas who was now swinging a hammer at the large man.

Arthur seemed to be stuck with another difficult decision. He could step in and help, but that would likely get him killed, or he could follow Rudy who he'd noticed had run off with the child from before wrapped in her arms. Really, one decision like this a day was more than enough. He hated complicated choices like these. Esme and Attlas looked like they could handle themselves, plus they were accompanied by Neko, another strange girl and a boy he'd never seen before either, though he wasn't really sure what team those two were on.

If one of them decided to follow Rudy, assuming that the toddler was who these strange people were after in the first place, she would be in quite a bit of trouble. Right, he would go after Rudy, not that he'd be capable of doing much if one of the 'evil' people decided to chase after her. However he'd feel guilty leaving a girl and a child to fend for themselves. He circled around, trying to stay as clear as possible from the fighting, and hurried down the hillside and into the campsite to pursue Rudy.
