ImagePersonal Info

Is your character a Guardian? Yes.

Personality: Warren is a solemn, often fretful individual. He rarely feels in control of any situation he's in, and it usually leaves him a bit anxious. Although just a farmhand, he is amazingly booksmart; he was something of a wannable-scholar in Solis. It wasn't hard to compete in that town though: he was one of the few people who even knew how to read. Warren is smart when it comes to the way the world works, but is often unsure of himself. He also carries a sword, but he doesn't know how to use it very well.

History: Warren was born and raised in a small town in Northern Nuemria by the name of Salus. It was mostly a farming town with a few woodsmen and huntsmen here and there. It was small with only a few hundred strong, but he was happy there, despite the cold winters. Warren was the only child of two parents, who wanted a better life for their son. So they set about teaching him to read, which could set him on a path as a scholar. It wasn't soon after His 16th birthday that his mother fell ill, and he had to drop his studies. He began doing odd jobs around town, starting as a miller, then became a blacksmith's apprentice, until dropping that and becoming a farm hand.

He has done it ever since, though he still takes what time he can to reading and even writing. He loves to hear about the world, and the thought that it might be more complicated than his own life filled him with relief. Right before his 30th birthday, a messenger arrived from the King of Nuemria summoning him to his court. He was unexpected to say the least, but he obliged and following the royal procession to the capital, where he met the king himself. He was told that the Draconic Vigil had chosen him to join them as a Guardian. Warren grew up with stories of dragons, and he loved the fantasy, but he never dreamed he'd live to see one.

The king said that it was his duty to represent the Red Kingdom well. After a night of decision-making, Warren agreed. He would travel west to Breezehold and depart on a ship to Quaking Terra. The journey took many months, and it was quite an adventure. Along the way, a 10 year old urchin girl joined him, around the time of Luin. He had given her a small amount of gold, and that's when she found out he was to be a Guardian. Awed by the aspect of an adventure, the girl began following him incessantly, until he finally gave in and let her join him. Her name was Liet, and the two formed a tight bond on their way to the Vigil.

Connections: Liet, a 10-year old urchin girl. A father-daughter bond.

Special Skills: -Strength (from years as a farmhand)
-Cunning (From years of studying)
