Sophia Rose's Story

Sophia walked into her school and walked down the hall with her headphones in. She remebered everyone from last year and it was nice to see them again. She was wearing her blue skinny jeans and a white blouse. Her shoes were black flats and her hair fell to her shoulders. She kept walking and she saw Ivan picking on some new kid. It was typical for that to happen, but something was different with this guy. She liked him instantly and had to have him.

She wondered who is was and where he came from, but she knew that she was going to talk to him. She smiled and turned to her locker which was righ across from where they were talking. She took out her headphones and placed her ipod in her locker. She checked her pocket for her iphone and it was still there. She shut her locker and hung out around her locker.

Collin rolled his eyes. "I am not hired by anyone I assure you. But I do know you do not love the girl. " he looked at Ivan's watch and sighed. "Would she think highly of what you're doing now?" he asked. "Now I am here to help you but your arrogance is unbelievable. If you want my help find me later and I will help but for now I must calm down." he said then walked away calmly.

He made his way to the first class but stopped and looked at a girl who was staring at him. He walked over and smiled. "Um hello did you need something?" he asked in a cheery tone keeping a smile one his face. He was always taught to smile at any stranger unless they were enemies as to dignify peace and possibly love if used in the right way.

Collin smiled. "My name is Collin it is a pleasure to meet you Ms. Sophie." he bowed and smiled at her next proposition. " No, no thank you for the advice but I must say no. He is not a waste of time in the slightest and he is more important than most will ever know. Well, I'll be seeing you around Sophie." he said then started to go off towards his first class.

Ivan rolled his eyes on what this Collin kid was saying, "He just doesn't get it." he thought as he eyes looked down as past memories flashed in his mind. But he quickly shook them off, "No! Stop thinking like that! You're Ivan Kendall! Every girl's dream guy!"

"Now I am here to help you but your arrogance is unbelievable. If you want my help find me later and I will help but for now I must calm down." Collin said then walked away.

"Finally." he thought as he go to his English class. He went to his usual seat which was on the very back, by the window. His eyes turned boredly at a flirty girl, "I think her name is Sophie..." she continued to flirt with him but he ignored her. If it's one thing that Ivan doesn't do, it's dating someone from the campus. That's right, all his past and current girlfriends are from different schools and sometimes countries, "It's much easier that way anyway."

Shelby

Shelby put her sketchbook away and pulled out her english notebook. She saw Ivan come in out of the corner of her eye and had to restrain herself from rolling her eyes again. He was so egotistical and stuck up. 'I suppose I can't assume that since i've never actually tried to get to know him but he seems very full of himself.' she thought. She tuned Sophie and Ivan out and started writing down what was on the board.

"I want everyone to pull out their notebooks and copy down what I have on the board. I'm going to tell you right now, it's going to be critical on your next exam." Mr. Davenport announced. A few minutes after he asked the class to copy everything down, Shelby was done. She sat silently daydreaming about having her artwork in a gallery but Mr. Davenport's voice brought her out of her train of thought "Did you hear me Ms. Summers? Name three major characters in Othello." Shelby's eyes widened as her mind raced for a second. It was apparent that she wasn't paying attention but she knew the answer. "Othello, Iago, and Desdemona" she said with a sly smile on her face. The teacher looked a bit surprised that she knew the answer. "very well Ms. Summers. I just ask that you keep your mind here, and not wherever you went just now. It's your education" The idea almost made her laugh. She thought it was a bit ridiculous that he was lecturing her on her education when she clearly knew what she was talking about. "Yes sir" she said softly and smiled sincerely. She had no intention of being rude or disrespectful toward her teacher.

When Ivan walked into her class she didn't even notice. She was too busy thinking about Collin which was a first for her. When he found his seat she came back down to earth and turned to look at Ivan. She didn't even feel like flirting with him. She gave him a wave and then went back to thinking. 'This is killing me.' She ran her hands through her hair and then rested her head on her desk. 'Okay, Sophia. You need to stop doing this to yourself. Fix your make up instead' She picked her head back up and rummaged through her bag and tried to look for her make up bag. She found it and pulled out her usual tools. She had black eyeliner, brown eye shadow, and tinted pink blush.

She started to touch up her make up a bit. A bunch of her friends always say that she never needed make up since she was naturally beautiful, but she didn't listen. She loved to do it and she never went over board with it. The first time she put make up on she looked like a clown. Once the eyeliner was on she moved on to her eye shadow. She applied that gently not wanting to smear it. Finally the blush. She finished with that and then packed her stuff up. She pulled the lip gloss out of her pocket and put it on. She felt better after that. She reached for her backpack and she pulled out her phone.

Sophie left her class room and walked down the hallway. She saw Ivan storm past her which meant the newbie got to him. In a matter or minutes she saw Collin and Kyle. She hasn't talked to Kyle for a year or so. She kept walking towards them since she wanted to talk to Collin. She fixed her hair as she walked. When she reached them she sniled. "Hi Collin. Hey Kyle. Long time no see."

As Collin left around the corner, Kyle watched him leave, his mouth open in confusion. How did he know about Kaylee...and what was he on about? Did he know about the little dream that had slipped into his daydream this morning? Or was he simply playing Cupid in a very forced way? Kyle forced himself to ignore it as he remembered that Sophie had just approached and was addressing him. Hey Kyle. Long time no see."

"Y-yeah. H-haven't seen you in a...a...a w-w-while. D-do you know a-a-a-anything about that n-new kid, C-C-Collin?" His stammer returned in full force, in part thanks to how flustered Collin's statement had left him. He glanced at the clock. Only a few minutes remained to get to class.

Sophie was upset Collin left, but didn't show it. He asked if she knew anything about Collin. "No I don't." But she wanted to. She was going to have to catch hin later. "Why? What did he say to you?" She seemed concerned, but she wanted to know if Collin talked about her. She still didn't know whete this obsession came from.

"H-he knew K-Kaylee. Y-you know, Kaylee T-Thomson. I've n-never seen him a-around bere b-before. I don't know h-how he kn-knows of her. I m-mean, he m-might follow the j-jazz band, and I told him my n-name..." He trailed off, thinking. He then glanced at the clock. Two minute left. Oh dear... "N-nice to s-see you again, S-Sophie," he muttered as he set out for Study Hall. The day had gone by awfully quickly, he thought to himself as he hurried to the quiet classroom. He liked having Study Hall at the end of the day; it let him relax and work on...work, before going off to the rigors of jazz band practice.

Collin's words echoed in his head and pestered him all through the study period. Only when he sat at the piano and let the music fill his mind could he focus. Practice flew by as usual, and encouraging words flew around concerning the upcoming festival. Kyle had to admit he was incredibly excited for that. After practice, he put his favored black jacket on as he stepped out into the nippy late afternoon. He looked around before heading to his bike, then groaned as he saw Collin a short distance away. He picked up his pace and dropped his gaze, hoping Collin would not recognize him with the jacket.

Collin had spent the rest of the day trying to come up with a strategy on how he would get the couples together.He was relieved when the day was over. He put the books away in his locker then started out the door before seeing Sophia again and he waved. "Hello again Ms. Rose." he said smiling then disappeared from her view down the road. He saw that Kyle was biking down the road and he smiled and rushed up. "Hello again Kyle have you thought about what I have said before?" he said smirking. He hoped that if he could get him to understand he could help him and the other couples.

Collin had always been a straight shooter but this world was corrupting him slowly making him into a cocky sly angel if he stayed down here too long he would start losing feathers and he might even start growing black leathery wings of the bat and be cast downwards as a demon instead of a holy angel.
