Setting
It was 2am in Trinket City. The police called it the Wolfing Hour, and for good reason. No police came into the city at 2am; they were all hiding in their apartments, doors locked, guns trained at chest-level, safeties off. 2am was when all the "wolves" came out to play; the scum of the city oozing its way out of the sewer, congealing itself into near-human forms stuffed with smoke, blood, drugs, and bared teeth.
You walk down the sidewalks. The city reminds you of Tokyo, almost, with all the neon lights, fast food advertisements, and 60-story buildings of glass. But Tokyo had a feeling of sex, of cars going too fast, of naughty thoughts and wishes come true.
Trinket City was different. It felt like being choked, drowning in some strangers bathtub, the hot pulse of a cigar between thick lips, the needle piercing you skin, shooting you up, bullets riddling your body as they hold you down. The hot burn of whiskey as you watch the blood dribble down your wrists into the street drains, the rats clawing and pushing for the chance to feed on your flesh.
No, Trinket didn't feel like sex. It felt like a wolf fight.
But why is Trinket City so different from any other crime-ridden city? Because 20 years ago a virus broke out; they call it "vampirium".
The first victim was Dante Lucretio, 35 years old, a constitutional law teacher at Trinket School of Law and Order. He was arrested for killing his students. When being interrogated, he killed the detective. He was sentenced for murder as a capital crime, and set to execution. When being prepped for death by lethal injection, it was discovered that his body was in a state called "suspended animation". He wasn't technically even alive. He escaped the prison and hasn't been seen since.
Soon other arised. It was declared a pandemic. Anyone showing symptoms were quarantined, and killed by being burned "alive". The infectees -vampires- feed on human flesh and blood.
Outraged by the crime at their "people", the vampires rebelled. Broadway Bloodbath; that's what they call it. Six teenage vampires killed over a hundred humans, and took twelve hostages at the Broadway theater.
The Freak Parties came next. Humans who got a kick off of being bit by a vampire. Vampires who liked to party and do drugs. Soon, vampires had taken over the cocaine industries. Then the races came. They'd stick two or more humans half-starved in an alley and told them that the first one out would get to live, and the others would meet a lesser fate.
After a while, they'd taken over the city, police stations abandoned as the army was brought in. Riots littered the streets. Children were homeschooled. And a war was started.
During the night, the vampires rule the city.
But during the day, when the vampires are weaker, the police come back in. Taking Hostages, killing, burning buildings too the ground.
So which side do you take? Are you a vampire; fighting for your right too live; to belong too someplace and be free? Or are you human; fighting for your home, your city, your children, and your own right too live?

As she was walking, she heard someone screaming. A girl, no doubt human. Another rogue vampire? It was creatures like that that made the whole race hated. Suddenly, the girl, frantic, ran out of a nearby alley. Lucretia could her shouting, and the crack of a metal whip. Against her better judgement, she walked into the alley, just as the vampire collapsed.
As a weak attempt at looking tough, she kicked a can, hoping it would work. But the attempt was null and void, as the girl collapsed to the ground, unconcious.
Concerned, Lucretia nervously edged her way to the girls side. Once she was sure she was really unconcious, she kneeled beside her, stuffing the whip through her sarong so the girl wouldn't get to it when she woke up. There was blood pooling underneath her from a shoulder wound, and under closer inspection, she wore an assasin's badge from the Human Eradication Force.
The Human Eradication Force (HEF) was out too kill all vampires - rogue or not. Sighing, despite her common sense, Lucretia tore a piece of her sarong off, bandaging the wound to the best of her knowledge to slow the blood flow, and hoisted the girl's arm up over her shoulder. Slowly, she made her way to the University, the HEF hospital, in hopes the girl could be treated there. Because no vampire clinic would treat her - hell, they'd probably eat her.

She glanced down at her feet. "I don't have a Master." She looked up then, and took the girls whip from her waist. "You kill rogue's right? I, um... thanks. This was with you when I found you."
She stepped aside, wincing slightly at the girls threat. "I'm human. Otherwise the HEF soldiers would have killed me all ready. I'm sorry I got in your way." She glanced at the wrist bands. "The doctor in the front should be able to remove those for you."

"I was wondering if I could help you. I... I know things. I can give HEF information, from the inside. I can be a spy." Lucretia walked towards the girl. "Please. Let me help." She got on her knees. "Please."

Alex pressed a small button on the side of his pistol, and a knife slid out of the bottom. In one quick motion, he shot two of the vampires in the head, and slit the throat of another one that was charging him. But the one he had missed had jumped from behind Alex and knocked him unconscious.
He woke up about maybe three hours later. He hadn't been bitten, which may surprise you, but Alex had been injected with a special serum that killed any vampire that bites him. The downside? It was REALLY expensive, and only lasted about 7 hours. He had injected it right before the mission. Vampires could sense when it was being used, and didn't take the chance of dying.
He looked around, he was in some sort of bar.......at least that's what he thought. There were creatures, demons, vampires, the like. "Ugh. They got my pistol." he felt in his pocket, and smirked. "But not the smg." He pulled a small device out, and opened it. Inside were all the pieces to a sub machine gun. Not wanting to attract attention, he didn't assemble it. Besides, he rarely used it, for his pistol did more than enough damage.
Alex stood. Looking past the dancers, he saw some really tough looking bouncers guarding the door. "Crap. They'll never let me out." he muttered.

I left a message for my boss agian saying I was being followed and then searched the crowd for my next target. This time I was in disguise wearing a bar maid uniform, I served through most of the night and finally realized I was being watched. I looked around but no one seemed to be paying me any close attention, the hair at the back of my neck stood up. I went about my business acting like nothing was wrong. Every once and a while I scanned the are but nothing turned up. I saw a man walk in but paid him no mind, their was a girl called "baby" singing some kind of love song and the girl who was now a room mate was entertaining one of the "Masters'" I was supposed to detial and spy on. I soon came to the table wear the man had sat down had asked,"What will you have sir?" I looked up and reconized him instanly it was the civilian from the other night. I quickly got his oder and vahemantly denied any recognition of him, then I walked out of the door hurrying for home not realizing I was being followed.
