Description

❤❤Sarah Love Baisel❤❤

Image

Age: 17 (barely looks 14)

Height: 5'2"
Wight: 106lbs

Hair Color: Bright Orange
Eye Color Crystal Blue

☮Personality☮
Sarah is very outgoing and has a constantly changing mood. She's a little bossy and overly confident, which can be a good and a bad thing sometimes. Her forwardness can often be intimidating and she'd be pretty scarey if it weren't for her smallness. She may look sweet and childish, but I assure you she's way tougher on the inside than she is on the outside. She knows how to get to the point and never hesitates to stand up for herself or her friends. Though she can be a little nosy at times and too bouncy for most to take, she's still the kind of person that could brighten up just about anyone. She always tries to put her all into everything she does and likes to encourage other people into doing the same. She's also very smart and doesn't really care what anyone thinks of her.

[K, here goes.]

Sarah had gone ahead and let herself in after knocking multiple times on Aiden's door with no answer. She sat on the couch with her bare feet propped up onto the coffee table, AFV on the big T.V. screen, and a cup of Chow Mein sitting on her lap. She was wearing a pair of blue jean shorts with suspenders hanging on each hip and a bright yellow tank top with a white, unbuttoned short-sleeve over shirt. She grabbed some noodled with the chopsticks in her hands and pulled the long strands out of the cup before holding her head back and slurping them down. She'd thought Aiden would be home since he didn't go to school, so she wondered why he wasn't here. She'd had already been on the way down when she texted him, so he had probably been out.

A funny scene came onto the T.V. and Sarah burst out laughing as it showed a man attempting to climb out of a hot tub and fall onto the snow-covered deck. She couldn't help but laugh at the stupidity. She tossed the empty box onto the coffee table and pulled another box out of the bag sitting to the right of her feet on the table, this time Manderine Chicken, and popped it open. If he doesn't hurry up I'm going to eat all of this... She thought to herself with a smile as she plopped one of the pieces of chicken into her mouth.

Aiden let out a sigh as he walked up the driveway of his house and pulled his house key out of his pocket, only to realize the front door had already been unlocked. Sarah... He thought to himself, hesitantly opening the door and peeking in. His expression turned very grim as he stepped in and closed to door to see Sarah laughing with her feet on the table, along with a couple of empty boxes and another box in her had. Every time she comes over she HAS to make a mess... He walked in between the couch and coffee table as if he was going to sit down but stopped and picked up one of the boxes. "There is a trash can just in the other room! Whenever you leave a mess I end up having to clean up after you." He complained, picking up the other empty box and stacking them together. "And you can't keep picking the lock and letting yourself in! A neighbor might see you and think you're breaking in or something and call the cops on you. It's the same thing with you all the time!" He said as he walked back into the kitchen and tossed the empty takeout boxes into the trash.

Sarah was one of the only people he could talk to like this. All of their conversations usually started out with Aiden complaining about Sarah's sloppiness, though he knew she would just ignore him every time. Though she might've acted like a sloppy fourteen year old, Sarah was actually really bright and intelligent, but only at school. "Next time you get here and I'm not home just wait on the front steps for me okay? Or maybe you should try making sure I'm home first before just showing up." He continued with his lecturing as he made his way back into the living room while Sarah burst out laughing again as another funny scene came onto the T.V. screen. He was hoping he wouldn't be missed at Owl's house too much. He had a good excuse for needing to leave though right? Maybe getting the trinkets was important, but they all had outside lives they needed to deal with too. He wasn't about to delicate all his time to Owl and he would have to spend less time if this dragged out because he had senior testing coming up. If he didn't pass testing Sarah would kill him for sure! "Anyway, why did you buy so many boxes of Chinese food if you knew you weren't going to be able to eat it all?"

Sarah didn't pay much attention after Aiden got home and started giving her a long lecture about causing messes. She just continued eating and laughing at the T.V, though it was nice knowing Aiden was still himself. He'd been acting a little strange since yesterday and she was worried about him, but it looked like he was still the same way he was last time she'd seen him at school. She watched him pick up a couple of the boxes and take the trash to the kitchen to throw it away as he continued complaining. "Aiden, all your neighbors know that I'm no robber. I'm always babysitting around here and I help out with the fireworks festival every year." She called before Aiden made his way back into the living room. She burst out laughing again at another scene as he continued with his lecture.

"Next time you get here and I'm not home just wait on the front steps for me okay? Or maybe you should try making sure I'm home first before just showing up."

She looked up at him from where she sat with the little box on her lap. "I texted you didn't I?" she said with a little smirk, "It's not my fault you take forever to get here." She smiled and grabbed his shirt, causing him to plop down on the couch beside her. "Quit being so glum!" She said with a smile as the show on the T.V. screen went to commercial. "Where were you anyway? I know you had that adoption thing, but wasn't that finalized like six years ago? I don't know why you'd be having problems now. And it took you all day too. It's already almost 4 O'clock and you told me you had to go do it this morning at around 10am. So why did it take so long?" She asked, chewing another piece of chicken and swallowing it.

Aiden let out a Hmph! as he was pulled down onto the couch and landed roughly on the cushion. "I didn't even reply to your text, so how could you know I got it?"

"Quit being so glum! Where were you anyway? I know you had that adoption thing, but wasn't that finalized like six years ago? I don't know why you'd be having problems now. And it took you all day too. It's already almost 4 O'clock and you told me you had to go do it this morning at around 10am. So why did it take so long?"

"Oh, well, it was a long process.." Aiden replied nervously as he picked a box of rice out of the plastic bag and a plastic spoon. He popped open the box and poured a little soy sauce on the rice before scooping up some and taking a bite. "There was a really long line..and they were really just asking me some questions about how I've been so far and such, and how family was going and stuff..." He hoped his answer wouldn't sound funny. He wasn't really good at lying and even if he came up with a good excuse he would stutter and pause in between words. He took another bite of the rice as his mind drifted back to the crooked house. How could he ever tell Sarah about his actual situation? Would she even believe him? She did have a real open-mind and was always excepting, which was one of the reasons he was able to be so comfortable around her. But traveling through paintings to retrieve trinkets in another world would definitely cross the line. "Oh, anyway I'll be sure to come to school tomorrow, Miss Class Prez." He said with a little smile, wanting to change the subject. He needed to hurry up and get her out of the house too before Rory or someone showed up again and dragged him away.

Sarah listened to Aiden explain himself, but it was obvious he wasn't telling the truth. Though he did a lot better than he usually did when he lied, she could easily tell. There was something about his tone of voice that sounded uneasy. And he felt a little tense as he sat next to her. That wasn't normal at all. Not for a few years has he ever been uncomfortable around her, so why was he so nervous right now? She giggled as she watched him scoop up some rice with a plastic spoon. "Chinese isn't Chinese if you don't eat it with a chop stick you know." She said playfully, picking up a piece of chicken with her chopsticks and shoving it into her mouth, chewing it for a while, and then swallowing. It had been a while since they'd hung out like this, maybe a couple of weeks or so. She felt like something's been bothering him lately, but he seemed worse today, despite how he tried to cover it up.

"Well if those dumb adoption people or whatever you call them ever give you a problem, let me know!" She said with a determined look on her face. "I'll go all rainbow ninja on them! K?" She said with a chuckle, before eating the last piece of chicken and throwing it onto the table as the T.V. show came back on. The show came to and end and she found herself leaning on Aiden's shoulder, eyes heavy, before finally she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Toriko set her empty dish in the sink and washed off her hands before heading back upstairs. She heard something about needing to wear something warm for this trip, but how warm exactly? She walked upstairs and entered her room before rummaging through her closet. There was nothing but tank-tops, some T-shirts, and plenty of brightly colored, jean shorts. Eh....I don't own warm clothes... She frowned to herself, closing the closet door and leaving her room before walking down the hallway to her parents room. "Why, of all things, does the next painting have to be cold...?" That was the one thing Toriko hated the most. Anything that required her to wear jeans she hated. She turned on the light to her parents room and made her way over to her moms side of the closet. There was nothing but fancy clothes, dresses, heels, and plenty of suits. "How can you live like this?!" She said out loud, letting out a moan. Maybe Aiden has something I can borrow.

She hurried downstairs with her bag over her shoulder before leaving the house. It was still raining of course. She found the whether to be a little strange this time of year, but didn't pay much attention to it. Quickly she ran down the pathway to her front door, up the sidewalk, and then made her way to Aiden's front door. She didn't even bother knocking, which was something Toriko rarely ever did, simply turned the knob and stepped in. "I need to borrow something warm!" She said loudly, though it only took seconds for her to spot Aiden sitting on the living room couch with some orange-haired girl sleeping next to him. Toriko stopped in her tracks as the door shut behind her and she suddenly felt nervousness rush over her. "I..uh..." She stammered, blinking a couple of times and swallowing. "Was I..uh..interrupting something?" She asked, an awkward little smile on her face.

Aiden sat quietly on the couch for a while after Sarah fell asleep next to him and ended up resting her head on his shoulder. The show on the television came to an end and the night news came on, giving a report that it would rain tomorrow, but then it should be very warm and sunny again until Sunday. He smiled to himself. Maybe the group could go to the beach for a day, and just take a break from all this 'trinket tracking'. He stopped his thoughts, feeling his face turn a little red at the thought of them all hanging out like that. For a minute there he forgot about how awkward it would be at a crowded beach and how he'd have to explain his idea to the group. Talking to them like that would surely cause him to pass out.

He let out a small sigh, his eyes saddening a little, but then he looked down at Sarah. It had been a while since they'd gone to the beach. Last time Aiden nearly drowned after slipping off the rocks and Sarah had to call the life guard. Growing up, he'd always been to scared to go to a crowded place like a pool or the beach, so he never really learned how to swim. For an eighteen-year-old, that was pretty pathetic.

"I need to borrow something warm!"

Aiden flinched at Toriko's voice and looked over at the front door from where he sat on the couch, surprised to see the long-haired girl suddenly had this extremely nervous look on her face.

"I..uh...Was I..uh..interrupting something?"

Aiden was a little confused at what Toriko meant for a second, but then he realized Sarah was sleeping with her head on his shoulder right next to him. His cheeks turned pink and he jumped up from where he sat. "No!" He quickly said, clutching the bottom of his shirt with his hands and stretching it a little as he shook his head. "This isn't what you think! She fell asleep..I..I..She's uhm a friend!" He didn't make direct eye contact with Toriko as he stumbled over his explanation, though he did turn his face towards her. Doesn't anyone know how to knock? He thought to himself, noting now that not only has Sarah broken into his house multiple times, but Rory once and now Toriko has done it twice. Does my house just scream 'plea break into me!' or something?

"This isn't what you think! She fell asleep..I..I..She's uhm a friend!"

Shut..the hell uuuuppp... Sarah opened her eyes a little as she slowly woke up. She was a little curious as to where Aiden's shoulder had gone since now she was resting with her head on the couch cushion. She pushed herself up into a sitting position and let out a large yawn and rubbed her eyes for a moment before finally noticing someone else standing standing in Aiden's doorway. She blinked a couple of times. Aiden had a friend other than her? She'd never seen this girl around school before, nor around town. The girls strange outfit was the first thing Sarah noticed, then she realized that this stranger was actually very pretty. Aiden's girlfriend!?!?!? She snapped awake, looking up at Aiden, then moving her eyes back on Toriko. Sarah was absolutely confused.

"Uhh..Hey there, I'm Sarah. Who are you?" Sarah asked calmly, though she felt extremely happy and maybe a little jelous at the same time. Aiden had actually made a friend other than Sarah, and in such a short time. Was this why he'd missed out on school yesterday?

"No! This isn't what you think! She fell asleep..I..I..She's uhm a friend!"

Toriko had to keep herself from laughing. As awkward as she felt in the current situation right now, she couldn't help but note how pathetic Aiden looked as he tried to explain himself; with his cheeks red and pulling on the bottom of his shirt nervously as he stumbled over his words. It was so funny really. "No, No, I can come back later I guess, if You're busy."

"Uhh..Hey there, I'm Sarah. Who are you?"

She'd hardly noticed that the orange-haired girl had woken up and was now sitting upwards on the couch. Is this..Aiden's girlfriend?!?! Just the thought of that seemed completely impossible. Someone as awkward and secluded as Aiden couldn't have a girlfriend. Then again, maybe he was more talkative at school. She remembered him wearing a school uniform jacket the first day he came to the crooked house, so maybe this girl was a classmate of his?

"My name's Toriko Plaid. I'm a friend of Aiden's. It's nice to meet you, Sarah." She said calmly, though she was still extremely curious as to who exactly this 'Sarah' girl was. Toriko looked over at Aiden and cleared her throat. "I don't own any warm clothes, so I need to borrow some of yours." She said bluntly, walking past him and heading upstairs. "Does your mom maybe own any pants? I doubt I'll fit in any of yours." She called down, reaching the top of the stairs then turning to look down the staircase. "You should probably get ready too or Owl will get all spazzy again!"

Rory could feel her face getting warm. Of course, this gets turned around and makes her look like the bad guy. Why does that always happen? She just wanted to live a normal life, well as normal as she could live when she loved fictional characters more than real people.

"Whatever," She hissed stepping off the front porch. Toriko was obviously not home, so they had to hope that she was bugging Aiden. Crossing the lawn, Rory noticed Wincher followed close behind.

She rolled her eyes, definitely over other worldy men. They always thought they were better than everyone else. At least, the ones associated with Owl were. From what they had seen from Panfor, he was just a simple guy trying to save his kingdom. Wincher, Owl, and Ira, they seemed to be wrapped in their own little world. Not caring about the feelings of others. Especially those from another dimension.

Stepping up to the porch of Aiden's house, where Ryan was waiting. "No answer?"

No response. Sighing, Rory pushed open the door to find there was a lot of noise coming from the house. People talking, definitely Toriko and Aiden's voice. A third one that Rory didn't recognize, and what might be the TV.

"Hello?" Rory called stepping into the living room. Sure enough there was Aiden who was yelling up the stairs. A orange haired girl stood next to him, looking confused. And of course, Toriko, whose voice was echoing down the stairs.

"What's going on guys?"

Ryan had dozed off. He wasnt in the mood to talk and was busy staring out the window when he fell into sleep. He hadnt had a good night sleep in a while, not only that, but he was exhausted. His adventures in Glendock, as well as theever present feeing of fear was wearing him out.

A screeching halt. Ryan lurched forward in his seat, feeling the seatbelt cut into his shoulder. "Dammit!" He sat up and looked outside to see a man standing at the car wanting to get in. He looked failliar but Ryan couldnt place it... Eventually Rory lethim in and they cntinued on ther way to Aiden and Toriko. He wasnt listening to them, was too busy thinking.

Once they arrived he was told to get Aiden. "Sure thing" He walked up the doorste and rapped his knuckles against the wood... no answer...
Again... still nothing. Rory arrived asing if they were answering.

Rory opened the door anyway and hey all walked in to see Aiden and another girl, Toriko's voice could be heard from upstairs. What was going on here?

Sarah tilted her head a little at Toriko. "Yea, sure. Nice to meet you too." She said before the girl rushed upstairs after saying she needed to borrow some of Aiden's clothes. Why is she borrowing HIS clothes?! The girl had said that she was Aiden's friend, but could there be something more going on? She stood up from where she was sitting as Toriko called down from the top of the stairs. Something about someone named Owl. Sarah had never heard the name before in her life, so then who was he?

"Uhh..Hey Aiden, when did you meet her?" She said, then a wide smile spread across her face. She grabbed Aiden's arm and shook him a couple of times. "Have you finally stopped being such a pussy!!?!?" She questioned loudly, sounding rather cheerful. "I've been waiting so long for you to finally grow up and start talking to people! We need to call Andrea and tell her about this soon! When did you guys meet? How did you meet? Did she just move here? I've never seen her around before." Sarah narrowed her eyes and smirked up at Aiden. "Or perhaps she may be your new love interest?" She said with an evil grin.

"What's going on guys?"

Sarah hadn't even noticed the front door open until she heard the unfamiliar voice of a woman. She let go of Aiden's arm and turned to look at them. There were two men and then a red-headed woman. She kind of recognized the one with the white hair. She'd seen him around town a few times when she went on patrols for the student council. Then again, how could anyone forget those ear piercings? "Hey, you've got more company.." Sarah said, her voice light as she raised her hand a little and pointed at the group in the doorway. Just how many friends has he made in one day!?!?!?

"What do you mean you need to borrow my clothes?!" Aiden said, "You can't jus--" Too late. Toriko was already making her way up the stairs towards Aiden's bedroom. This was all so confusing and Aiden could feel his palms sweating again. Sarah was handling the situation like a natural but Aiden had no idea what to do. At least he felt a little less shy since Sarah was here, but he still didn't like having to talk to Toriko so openly. Still, she couldn't just come in here and do whatever she wanted, despite the fact that that was something Sarah also did more than Aiden could count.

"Does your mom maybe own any pants? I doubt I'll fit in any of yours. You should probably get ready too or Owl will get all spazzy again!"

Why was she saying Owl's name out loud with Sarah here?! "You can't just borrow clo--hugh!" He was suddenly being jerked back and forth by Sarah. It was amazing how such a small girl could be so strong sometimes. He looked down at her with furrowed eyebrows as she spouted question after question about who Toriko was.

"Or perhaps she may be your new love interest?"

Aiden's face immediately turned bright red at the suggestion. "W-what!? Of course not! She's just--" She's just what? Toriko had called herself Aiden's friend, but he hadn't really labeled any of the troop members his friends. Though, it had been the same for Sarah really. It took him a while to figure out that Sarah really was one of his friends.

"Hey, you've got more company.."

Sarah let go of Aiden's arm, which had started to feel a little sore from her shaking him, and pointed at the doorway. He turned around to see who had come, and his blushing face turned into a depressed one. Of course it would be them. Seriously where is the sign on the front of the house that says 'Come Right In!'? He thought to himself, letting out a small sigh and plopping back onto the couch. He looked down at the floor and pinched his hands between his knees. Even with Sarah here, he felt really uncomfortable having so many people in his house. Due to his growing nervousness he didn't even notice Wincher. He was too busy trying to put together a good excuse to tell Sarah.

Rory watched the exchange between the young kids. There was so much noise in the small space, poor Aiden was probably losing his mind.

Sure enough, when he flopped on the couch he looked about ready to puke. He placed his head in between his knees, his breathing slowing to very long breaths. Toriko was still yelling about needing clothes, and the other girl was continually asking questions.

Was this one of Aiden's friends? Seeing how shy he was, Rory was shocked to see that he had a friend. By the way she talked to him, Rory couldn't believe someone as shy as Aiden could be friends with someone as loud and abrasive as the orange haired girls.

Ignoring the many questions from the girl, Rory pushed past her and kneeled down in front of the young boy. "Hey." She said quietly. "You okay?"

Sarah took a small step back as the red-head walked past her and knelt in front of Aiden, who as sitting on the couch with tense shoulders. Sarah couldn't help but be curious about who these people were exactly. Could this red-head possibly be Aiden's old therapist? I thought he quit going to that.. Maybe she was his mom's friend or something. She couldn't be his aunt since Aiden's real mother and father were both only children like Aiden was.

"Hey. You okay?"

She used such a soft voice, and Sarah couldn't help but notice that this woman was very beautiful. She looked too old to be Aiden's possible girlfriend. And Sarah already had it in her head that Toriko was possibly Aiden's girlfriend, since she was rather pretty too and seemed completely comfortable walking right in to Aiden's house. Sarah suddenly found herself laughing quite loudly. The only time she'd ever seen Aiden so nervous with even Sarah around was whenever they went to dinner and the waitress asked Aiden what he wanted to eat. One thing she did know was that he hated being asked any kind of question. "Calm down, Aiden." She said with a smile, then leaning in a little and narrowing her eyes at him. "By the way, would you want to tell me which one is your girlfriend? I'm rather curious to know." She said with a little smirk as she placed her hands on her hips and putting her face a little closer to Aiden's, giving him the death glare.

Aiden looked at Rory as she asked him if he was okay. Of course he wasn't! Everyone just kept walking into his house like they lived here! And, although his house was pretty big, he felt cramped with so many people in here.

"Calm down, Aiden. By the way, would you want to tell me which one is your girlfriend? I'm rather curious to know."

Too close, too close! Aiden shook his head at Sarah. "None of them!" He said, then remembering Toriko was still upstairs, probably rummaging through his closet by now. He slid over the arm of the couch and hurried up the stairs as fast as he could, wanting to get out of the living room and away from the questions. He just hoped Rory or Ryan wouldn't go blurting out why they were there to get him. He made it to the top of the stairs and found Toriko in his room. "I..uh.." He murmured, trying to think of something to say to her. He looked at what she was wearing, then noted that she was wearing something very similar this morning and yesterday as well. Were shorts and tank-tops really all she had? He walked over to the closet and pulled out a black and grey stripped sweater and handed it too her, along with a light-blue jacket. "You can..uhm..borrow these.." He said without looking at her, then pulled a dark red jacket out for himself before lading her down the hallway and into his mom's room and opened her dresser. He found a pair of light grey sweat pants and held them up. Toriko had such a small build, he doubted she'd fit in anything other than this. "These too..but..make sure you don't get them ruined, please." He said, handing them to her before leaving the room so she could get dressed.

He walked back downstairs and stopped at the bottom of the staircase to look at Sarah where she stood beside the couch. "I've got to go for a while. Something for work okay. Make sure you lock the door on the way out." He said, giving her an apologetic smile. He felt bad just leaving her here but he wanted to hurry up so none of the others would spill what was really going on. "I'll see you at school tomorrow okay?" He said, then turned to slip on his shoes beside the stairs.

Rory watched Aiden practically fling himself away from her and the orange haired girl. What was her name? He ran upstairs to help Toriko with something, and Rory slowly stood eyeing the spot where he had slipped out of sight.

She was broken from her thoughts when Wincher spoke. He leaned on the door lazily, pointing behind him. "I'll be in the car."

Rory nodded. "We'll be there soon," She said with a smile. Wincher disappeared outside and shortly after Aiden came walking downstairs, Toriko behind him.

He spoke with the orange haired girl, explaining he had to go do something for work. Rory tilted her head, watching the exchange. Judging by the girl's face, she didn't believe him. Who would?

"Aiden," Rory piped up. "We should hurry."

Ryan watched the exchange between the kids. Aiden was really anitsocial. Poor kid.

Ryan felt bad for him, but it was really none of his buisiness. His eyes shifted to the orange haired girl. She seemed to care for Aiden, but he really hoped she wouldnt get involved in this. Ths shouldnt be a problem in Aidens life, let alone his friends.

Ryan turned to Rory. He had been kin o blowing her off for the past hour or so, and he felt guilty for it. He had so much on his mind he found it hard to pay attention to anything. She was focused on the kids, and didnt see him looking at her. " Aiden, we should hurry" Rory warned. Ryan stepped towards her, "I'll start the car, we need to get back quickly or Owl will throw a fit. "

He was going to go to the car, but this was not his real intention. He wanted to speak with Wincher. The guy seemed to have it all more together than Owl, maybe he would give a straight answer. He left the house and headed for the car. Wincher was chilling in the passenger seat, staring at the roof . Ryan approached the driver's side door and got in. He turnd the key and the vehicle sprang to life. Wincher had said nothing. Ryan turned to him. They had not formally met, but he now remembered where he'd seen him before. This guy was at the dance.

He presented his hand. "Wincher, We havent met, Im Ryan" he began. He hoped h woul have enough time to speak a bit before they all got in.

Rory finally managed to get the others gathered up. Saying farewell to the orange haired girl, whom she learned was named Sarah, and led the group outside. She could see Ryan and Wincher sitting alone in her car. She sighed. Who knows what they were talking about.

Rapping on the glass of the passenger's side window. Wincher rolled down the window and smiled up at her. "Backseat. Ryan can drive, but I call shot gun."

She pulled open the door and gesturing for Wincher to get out. When he did, she quickly slid in and eyed Ryan.

"Hey, you okay? You seem a little out of it."

Sarah stood alone in Aiden's empty house. They'd all left so quickly and she felt a little left out. When had Aiden become friends with so many people? She felt a little jealous, to be honest, that the reason he hadn't been in school today was because he was busy with these new people. For work? She sighed and, after cleaning up the mess from the Chinese takeout, she slipped on her shoes and left the house, making sure to lock the door behind her. She held the strap of the school bag she had hanging over her shoulder and turned to see the car that had picked up Aiden disappear at the end of the street. Aidens work is close to the school. Why is he going that way? She thought to herself, walking out to the sidewalk. She looked down the empty street for a few moments before turning to walk back up the street. She felt sad, and she wasn't quite sure why. Because the shy, antisocial, awkward yet, so very sweet Aiden was finally making friends with people? People she'd never even met before, and two of them being really pretty girls. She felt her cheeks turn a little pink as she thought about it, but quickly shook her head. "No way!" She scolded herself out loud and lightly slapped her cheek with the opposite hand that was holding the strap on her bag. "Get a hold of yourself, stupid!"

Suddenly the heard the siren of a cop car, no, multiple cop cars coming from up the street. She watched as four or five of them sped passed her down the street. They're going the same way Aiden just went.. She turned and watched the flashing lights vanish and the sirens slowly disappear. Could Aiden be a part of some illegal drug gang!!?! She quickly pushed that thought to the back of her head and noted how stupid that sounded. Still, she suddenly felt really worried and extremely curious. She changed her direction and started running down the sidewalk. Why would Aiden need to go somewhere for work this late at night anyway? You are so horrible at lying..

Skipping Scene

Sarah found herself on a really old street, dragging her feet and breathing heavily. She might be more athletic than most girls her age and she was in track, softball, soccer, and she even did kendo on the weekends, but running like this without stretching first and right after eating too much was a bad idea. She continued walking, dragging her school bag behind her until she stopped when she spotted the cop cars. They stood on the porch of a really old looking house that stood tall and..a little crooked? Just as the owner of the house opened the door she turned and dived into the bushes beside the sidewalk so she wouldn't be spotted. She was too far away to hear anything, so all she could do was watch the scene until the cops finally left and the owner went back inside.

She couldn't tell what had just happened, but there was one thing she was sure of. The car that had picked up Aiden was parked out front, so she was positive he was inside. She stood up and brushed herself off and pulled the strap of her school bag bag over her shoulder before examining the outside of the house as she walked towards it. She neared the house, trying to figure out if she should knock on the door or sneak into a window. "I'll just have to pound on the door and demand them to release my friend!" She said out loud, something she did often. She hesitantly walked up the steps and stopped a couple of feet in front of the door. She was determined to find out what was going on, but for some reason she got an eerie feeling from this place. "No turning back..." She raised her fist and knocked loudly a few times. "Hey! Open up right now you criminals!" She shouted in a demanding tone, which she kind of regretted.

Wednesday 7:31 PM

Owl tore the front door open, staring lazily down to the girl on his doorstep without much care. She had called him a criminal and it had actually offended him in a way, but at the same time, he cared little for what this Earth girl thought of him.

He waved a hand. "Go...over there."

With that he slammed the door shut again.

Sarah stared up at the tall man who'd opened the door with a firm, but clearly nervous expression. Tall..Tall...

"Go...over there."

Scareyyyy... She stepped in and walked a few feet into the house, twiddling with her fingers in front of her and looking around. How could someone live in such a dull house that looked a little like it was rotting? It was already crooked and would probably fall over any day now. She was amazed it was still standing after the recent storms they'd been having. She couldn't see anyone either. Where had Aiden gone, and those two girls and the other two men that had showed up at his house? Swallowing dryly, she turned around and glared at him, trying to look as threatening as possible. Though, she probably looked pretty girly in her school uniform and not to mention, she felt extremely short compared to this person. "uh..Alright you!" She began, bawling her little hands into fists at her sides. "I want to know what you did with my friend! You know, he's almost six foot tall, with brown hair and eyes, and he's really awkward and antisocial. I saw him come in here with those other people so you can't deny it! What have you done with him?! If you've gotten him in trouble with the police, I swear I'll make you pay for it! And if you've kidnapped him or hurt him I'll report you!" Scarey, scarey, scarey..

Wednesday 7:32 PM

She was nervous. And small. And demanding.

Owl raised an eyebrow down to her, leaning on the wall beside him from fatigue. A headache still plagued the outers of his mind, but he brushed it away like an annoying fly. "Your friend is safe" was all he said and he hoped it would be enough for her to leave and not fuss any longer.

It didn't seem likely.

Wincher

Thankfully, Wincher presupposed Rory would find a way to fall. She seemed the clumsy type, not outwardly, but in a subtle way that would most definitely get her killed. With some effort, he snatched her arm from the air and tugged her toward him as they both fell back against the stone, huffing and puffing in fear and relief all at once. At the back of the group still on shore, Anna shouted, "Eyes ahead!"

"Yes Lorelei," Wincher teased to lighten the mood, but the redhead just seemed terrified. So he helped her to her feet and searched the next rocks for a proper path. They were halfway across and would need to make it safe and sound. Quickly he glanced behind. The others were struggling as well. All they could probably think about was the water, which was all Anna's doing. Putting frightful thoughts into the minds of babes would produce only chaos.

"Come on you lot, nearly there!" he called back, practicing his "British" accent as Rory had called it. "Round up and hop ahead! Onward!"

He realized he still held Rory's hand and followed her arm up to her face. She too had realized the same. They split apart in a jump of surprise, Rory nearly toppling over again, but Wincher steadied her...by the shoulder this time. He smiled oddly and then continued leading the way.

Wednesday 7:33 PM

"Could you...leave?" he asked the tiny girl. He truly had nothing better to do than order Ira about with nonsensical tasks, which seemed entertaining actually, but her presence unnerved. Only because they were alone and she was obviously as uncomfortable as he. Why not just leave?

"You could go home...your friend is safe...I promise..."

Owl raised a bushy eyebrow down to her, wondering why she wouldn't move. Stubbornness was common in children he supposed and he sighed, simply walking out of the room to stride up to the attic and he bolted the door, just in case. Ira was still there, eyes on the wintery painting with fright. He seemed still hesitant about entering but also relieved he hadn't. Owl analyzed his features closely, but his thoughts remained with the girl downstairs.

She better not touch the peanut butter.

(Sorry it took me so long!)

Sarah glared up at the man. She didn't believe a word he was saying. Why should she? For one, he looked too suspicious for her. For two, the cops had just shown up at his door barely ten minutes ago. And then there was the last one; she'd never believe Aiden would come to a place like this out of his own free will. He wasn't that kind of person. She opened her mouth to give a retort but the man sighed and left the room to go upstairs. "Hey wai--!" She heard a door upstairs shut and she stood quietly for a few moments. He trusted her enough leave her downstairs alone? She hesitated a moment, then began to walk around through the house, trying to find some clue. It just looked like an ordinary, really old, somewhat falling apart house. Aiden, where are you?

She decided to try going upstairs and confront the tall man again, but then stopped halfway up the stairs. Back at the house, it didn't sound like Aiden wanted her to be here. It sounded like he was doing his best to keep this a secret. She just didn't understand why. They were supposed to be best friends..so why was he hiding this from her? She shook the thought from her head and hurried up the stairs to the door she was sure the man had disappeared behind, but when she tried to open it it was locked. He locked me out?! "Hey I'm not done with you yet, stupid old man!" She snapped, pounding on the door which she was sure was about to break any day now. "Open up and tell me where Aiden is!" She yelled again, pounding with both fists now.
