The town of Montecalisto is a picturesque town with cobblestone streets, cafes and old sandstone buildings with historic furnishings. Every ten years, a handful of the most beautiful young men are chosen to go to Montecalisto to brighten the mood of the inhabitants in exchange for eternal life. The only catch is that the young men have to crossdress and appear female in most ways including voice. Will they be up for the task? And is there more than just that?

Duties:
The young men have to crossdress and train themselves to appear female. Within town limits they always be crossdressing. If they leave town, they can appear male. In town, they need to make sure to make people happy. However they need to at least teach part time at the local school or help out at the market. They also have an idol status and need to occasionally "dress up", go to photoshoots and meet "fans".

Locations:

Town hall: At the town hall there is a large ball room, the "Center cafe", the mayor's office, the "Little Liquor Shop" and the town forum.

Shopping arcades: A long shopping strip that is covered by a roof over the street. Lots of shops and cafes here.

Marketplace: A large cobblestone plaza in front of town hall.

Montecalisto academy: The local school which covers primary and secondary school. It is a uniformed school where boys wear a white tunic with a ribbon tie and girls wear a knee-length white dress with a ribbon tie.

"Idol" dorm: A house where the "idols" live. It is a large sandstone house with individual rooms that are relatively large for the occupants. The occupants share a kitchen, dining room and bathing area.

The mount: The highest point in town with park benches and an overview of the town.

"Cafe Lily": A small cafe near the dorm, owned by a woman named Lily.


Technology/setting: Overall the buildings and furnishing style has a steampunk feel to it. However most vehicles run on combustion engines. Pretty much all of the cars in town are tiny (similar to the BMW Isetta) but there are also scooters. So it is like a mixture of steampunk and dieselpunk with heavy fantasy clothing style. The clothing style is generally a bit more colorful and unique.
