an adonis is what his mother calls him, she often remarks he looks like his father. and looking at pictures of him growing up, he'd see a lot of the resemblance. whereas his elder siblings look more like a blend, august looks identical. they share the same naturally amalgation of black and brown locks, that curl loosely. his eyes are a light brown, nearing gold in some lights. his hispanic and italian heritage shows through, with his skin being a mixture of caramel and olive. freckles lightly dot his face.
his style is something his siblings and mother often chastise him for. unless there's an event where he wants to impress guys, or if he's performing he usually walks around in simple jeans and t-shirts. there are three items you will never see august without however, his father's leather jacket, his mother's obsidian and diamond ring, and the ring he had originally won for his best friend when they were younger and he never got a chance to give to him. if you see him without them assume something terrible is going to happen to him. he also has a penchant for oversized sweaters, that cover his hands, he loves to flap them around. don't judge him.

after he and caleb had went their separate ways, august had to reinvent himself. people only thought of him as caleb's friend. so he grew into who he was meant to be, a person who listens too much to his emotions and others opinions, but never once sweetened anything he said when he intended it to be venomous. he became a person he had wanted to be, when he was friends with caleb. he has an air around him that makes people draw into him, people surround him, mainly girls in love with his "theater kid" personality, he just grew into the garden around him instead of being a smaller flower compared to something bigger.
if there's anything august feels for caleb, it's two things. one it's a wish to return to a time where, they were close. where maybe in august's perfect world they could return to friends and maybe more. and the other is resentment. a need to separate himself as far away from "that douchebag" as he calls him, because he's constantly in reminder that he doesn't have that support anymore. that he doesn't need to worry about him. but he does. he shouldn't think about him, but he does all the time. caleb is like a disease to his mind he can't be rid of.

alessia munez and michael valentine were the high school sweethearts everyone wishes they were. the two met their freshman year, and were inseparable. going to the same college, where michael became a lawyer and his wife became a teacher (with her love for the work and inspiration of previous mentors). after they graduated, they got married and that's where their life began. only two years after they were blessed with three children, their triplets. maria, miguel, and mario. they were the light of the newly weds lives.
soon after, five years passing, they were blessed with another child. august, named for alessia's recently passed father and given michael's middle name. august was the absolute adoration of his parents, though they never neglected their other children. it was august who took more of a liking to his father, and his elder siblings took more to their mother. sadly, once august turned five years old, his father was brutally murdered in a mugging. leaving the entire family devastated, his mother in a complete state of shock knew she couldn't afford their current house. so she had sold their original house, and moved her family to her and her husband's hometown, mooreville. her mother was there, michael's parents were there. so she had help with her children. august grew to be a very shy child, and wouldn't come out his shell. losing his father made an impact on him, his mother never expected. with her job as a school teacher, she would place all four of her children in counseling. the elder three, had seemed to be working with it. learning coping mechanisms and the like, but august still wouldn't come out of his shell. at the tender age of seven, it was implied his mother should put him in some sort of social activity. so she gave him a choice, the local community drama classes or sports.
easy enough, august chose the drama classes.
which is where he met caleb, his best friend for the future years to come. caleb helped august come out of his shell, and become more extroverted. while he still relied on the other male heavily, he began to notice their friendship fracturing. and eventually was devastated by the sudden loss of his friend. but he knew he couldn't force the friendship to be healed. he constantly thinks about caleb, knowing that he harbors feelings for him deeper than he wishes. but he tries to focus ahead on the career both he and caleb once dreamed about, in fondness of when times were great.
