((I will be temporarily RPing the teacher because Hyper_Dragon hasn't been posting and I don't know where she is. . .))

Aslan Portegar

Things were simple. . . at first. People were coming into class, talking, waking up or already with their heads on their desks sleeping. But one girl seemed to be conversing with her white bird bond, it looked very much like a phoenix. She seemed bothered about something and then some ass hole decided to throw something at her head. Aslan didn't react, he decided to wait and see what would happen. . . Waiting didn't solve things, a fight broke between the both of them and Aslan had no other choice but to intervene.

Babur stood up abruptly as if awakened from his day dreaming when Aslan pushed his chair back and got up. He went down a few stairs when he got next to the guy who attacked with his bond and he slammed a punch across his face while Babur went to grab the boy's bond's neck in his jaw being careful not to slice it in two.
"Hasn't anyone taught you not to fight with a girl?" Aslan spat down at the boy who had one hand cuffed around his cheek and pathetically crawling onto his other hand to support himself on the ground.

"Boy, sit down and shut up," completely Babur.

The boy did as he was told. There was no need to send him to the principal's office or even inform the teacher, these things were so very common at the school and that was what Aslan was here for. He went to the girl and said, "Please excuse him, I think he woke up with his dick in a knot," Aslan chuckled then went back to his seat and laid back against the backrest and put his feet on the table.

Amalthea Oprah & Jenniphael Durmane

Aslan was always the first to start of finish a fight, and always the one to show off. Amalthea hated his guts, his smirk was pretentious and his attitude was snobby, how could anyone enjoy his presence? But she had to admit it, he was a very good Student Council President. Authorative, strong and confident, plus he had amazing social abilities that most likely came from the rich and famous atmosphere he grew up in.

"Students please be seated," Ms. Durmane walked in with a pile of books in her hands and her earth fairy flying behind.

Amalthea turned he total and utter attention towards Ms. Durmane. She was determined to be a true hard working student this year, not like last year when she would draw or wander off in her thoughts during class. But it was hard to thing only about studies in Ms. Durmane's class because she was such a klutz just like Amalthea. When the teacher reached her desk, her books crashed on the table and some went flying across, Ms. Durmanes glasses went crooked and Dzidzi was caught in the catastrophe.

"It's okay! I'm alright!" She got back up and cleaned up her books then got back behind her desk, "Hello students!"

Suren was walking, or rather being dragged by Erin to the class room. Kivuli was going at a slow pace for her, but was still on them, "Guess this one cares about his baby sister." She said rather sarcastically. "Well, he should be Kivuli, I sometimes wish I had a sibling." She as they arrived in the classroom.

She saw Aslan, whom she owed a favor to, but in her defence, she lose 16-20. Pretty damn good for her, she thought. She took a seat by Erin, and looked around the room. She noticed Rue, and some guy with a small dragon. "I could kill him without trying." Kivuli said, refering to the dragon. "Well, lets not figure that out today." Suren said in a tight, but sweet voice. Once the mess with the boy seemed to have been solved, she noticed the teacher, she seemed sweet. ALthough her little earth fairy seemed like a snack to Kivuli. That reminded Suren.

She took out a note from her bag and and wrote something on it, and then passed it over to Erin, "Promist I don't usually pass notes in class, but seems like we will start soon. You are fun :), hope we get to know each other better. Your favorite person in the whole wide world, Suren." Her handwritting was horrible, but it still was readable. She then took out a piece of paper and pen, incase of notes and settled into her chair.

This is when the teacher said, "Hello students!", Suren gave a slight nod to her, and Kivuli put her head down, and began to stare at Nemesis.

Rue Tyryl

She was concentrating on giving Snow her energy so that the bird could become more nimble in the air and avoid the gaping jaw of the much larger dragon. Rue was fast on her own and she was very agile. Of course it helped that she'd had several years of gymnastics to aid her as well. Vaulting around things and keeping out of reach was one of her talents. So, Snow took advantage of this gift of her bonds and did the same, dodging the dragon entirely.

Then the boy's attention was turned else where and Rue heard the unmistakable voice of the boy named Luca. Her heart did a flip, but she quickly contained the nervousness that threatened to creep up on her, turning stony as quickly as she'd felt the emotions rising. Slowly, she turned her attention to Luca who was gripping the boys shoulder and smiling at her.

"Yup, I was right, he has a great smile," Snow said as she dodged another lung from the dragon. However, in the next instant, the huge golden lion lunged forward and snapped his jaw around the dragon, bringing it down to the ground. The boy who'd started the fight gave a sharp cry of both fear and pain as he felt his bond hit the floor.

“Is it fun making so much noise in the morning? Please be mindful of your surroundings,” Luca's voice was smooth, his smile still there, but the tone had an underlying, cold, malicious feel to it. Rue raised an eyebrow as she looked at him. Did he just... she didn't finish the thought. Why would he do that for her? It's not like he liked her or anything, that much she was fairly sure about. Maybe he was just a nice guy.

“Shall I move them for you? My courier service comes with a small monetary charge though.”

Rue twisted the idea around of the possibility of having Luca transport the insolent boy and his dragon in the lake that was outside of the campus, but before she could say yes to him, Aslan's fist connected with the boys jaw and threw him to the ground. Rue immediately backed away from the class president and shot a glance to Luca before turning her attention back to Aslan.

"Hasn't anyone taught you not to fight with a girl?"

Aslan's bond proceeded to growl at the boy, telling him to sit down and shut up. Afterwards, the class president turned back to her and told her to forget about the misfit and went back to his seat. Rue took a moment to collect herself, taking a deep breath and letting Snow perch back on her shoulder. She looked back to Luca who took his seat, which oddly enough, was right next to the misfit boy and right behind her.

"Thank you," she told him shortly, trying her best to keep her emotions out of her voice, at least the ones that always caused her problems. She gave him a smile that held no mirth at all, "Maybe next time I'll have you transport him to the lake and we'll see how well the idiot can swim," she turned around then, glared at the boy and sat down as the teacher walked in, albeit a bit clumsily. Rue sighed softly as she held her head in her hand. Though she tried to concentrate on the teacher, her thoughts were tingling about Luca. Not to mention his sitting behind her was quite distracting. More so than Samuel who was in the center of the room.

"I think you like him," Snow said.

Rue ignored her. Instead she watched as Suren and Erin just barely made their seats before class officially started. Just in time to see their teacher lose the balance of all her books and then straighten herself with a slight squeak of, "It's okay! I'm alright!".

"You should ask him to have lunch with you."

This earned Snow a haughty glare, "No," she whispered coldly. Snow fluttered her wings and turned so she could look up at Luca as she sat on Rue's shoulder. The phoenix let out a huff of air as she sighed.

Erin Tyryl

They got into class just in time, and he spotted Rue taking her seat several rows up. She looked like she was talking to one of the boys that was behind her and he smiled to himself. Happiness flooded him as he realized that she'd most likely made a friend of the boy and that was more than he could ask for. With Suren right next to him, he looked at the teacher as she fumbled her books. He had to bit his tongue to keep from laughing, all the while he could tell that Nemesis was slowly making his way closer to Kivuli who was also under the table.

"Promise, I don't usually pass notes in class, but seems like we will start soon. You are fun :), hope we get to know each other better. Your favorite person in the whole wide world, Suren."

His face lit up like a bright red light and he ran his hand through is hair as he read the note that had poked his arm. He turned and smiled at Suren brightly. He had to agree that she was amazing. Aside from his sister, she was his favorite girl in the world at the moment. In fact, she was probably the only girl he had his sights set on. He flipped the little paper over and scribbled on the other side. Next to her writing his was like caveman scratches and he frowned slightly. Still he handed it to her, the note simply saying :

Lunch together again today?

"Alright," she took out her history book and opened it to a page, "I presume that you all have your history books, now open them to page 250."

She took out some documents and then went to the computer to open up the text writing program so she could type in the lesson before turning on the video projector so everyone could write. She started typing as she waited for the students to take out their books or ask people if they could share books because obviously, kids forget to bring their things.

"So, if you all read the title," started Jenniphael.

"We're going to be working on the Third Great War," continued Dzidzi.

"That ended way before all of you were born but the scars of madness and loss of loved ones from the conflict still continues today," finished Jenniphael.

The Third Great War was the only History subject asked to be worked on this year because last year they wad worked on the Second Great war which was before their grandparent's generation and it wasn't as bad as the Third. But speaking of the Third Great War also meant talking about Tyrillia Academy and what happened in it during the war. . .

As she typed she could hear some students chattering but she was terrible at being authoritive and obeyed so Dzidzi did the work for her. She flew to the oh so happy little couple whispering to each other and then she recalled their faces from the student list each teacher received; Luca and Rue.

"The both of you had best shut your mouth before I shove eucalyptus branches up your asses and thorns in you mouths," Dzidzi didn't say it loud or in an angered tone, she just stared at the boy and girl with that glare that made her the most frightening fairy known in the world.

"Please listen up students and open your books to page 250," Jenniphael repeated herself.

Amalthea Oprah

She giggled at the fairy's threat and imagined the scene of the boy and the girl with branches in their butts. It was a painful scene but a funny one. Then she opened her book just as the teacher asked. Her eyes stopped at the title, The Third War of Tyrillia.

Suren was looking for the page her teacher told her to, when her Bond, something Kivuli would most likely eat if given the chance went up and cursed at Rue and Luca. "Damn, she is almost as bad a Kivuli." She thought, when she noticed the piece of paper she sent to Erin came back with an invitation to lunch. She gave him a thumbs up, to say yes, before she settled on the page.

Kivuli, while this was going on, got bold and started walking to Nemesis, their Bonds were sitting close, so they were close. Once she got close enough to him, she took a sniff of him, and sat down on her hind legs, the tail laying by her side, the flame still going strong.

Suren noticed this and thought too start singing to embarass Kivuli, but decided against it, she didn't want a pixie to curse at her. So she just looked a tthe page, The Third War of Tyrillia.. She had heard a lot about this war, a lot of homeless people she knew were veterans of this war, so she had an understanding of what life was like for the people fighting, but she never really understood the war, history was never her strong suit.

She took the notee back, and wrote, I think we have a love connect happening :). she then made an arrow, pointing down, to signal to the wolf-like bonds. And then continued, Later can you help me with this? Don't really know a lot about it, besides what fighting it was like. please and thanks. P.S. Last note, I promise.. She looked over it before slidding it back, trying not to get noticed.

Erin Tyryl

The paper poked his arm again as he was turning the pages of his history book to 250. It was on the third war, something that he'd heard about plenty of times throughout school and from his family. He frowned at the page though, history was one his bad points. He didn't like it one bit and he really was terrible at it. Remembering dates and important peoples names. It was all too much to take in, that and math. Numbers were his utter enemy, he couldn't comprehend anything that a math teacher told him in school. It all went in one ear and out the other.

So, when he took the little note from Suren and read over it quickly, he felt his stomach lurch at the idea of trying to help her with the history homework. Before that, though, he leaned back and took a look down under the desk where Kivuli and Nemesis were. The huge dire wolf was watching the hell hound intently, his eyes wide and his tail twitching as she was sitting so close to him. Erin grinned at his bond and returned his attention to the paper.

He quickly scribbled back to her, I can try, but I don't know how much help I'll be. I suck at this subject. Oh, and I suck at math too... so if you want to bomb a math test or history test, I'm your man. But aceing one is an entirely different story. Alright! Last note ;)

He passed it to her and turned his attention to the book again, trying to figure out how he was going to manage this class. However, Nemesis didn't help things when the large dire wolf scooted closer to Kivuli, brought up his huge paw and wrapped it around her furry neck to bring her down to lay next to him. Then he promptly cuddled up next to her and fell asleep.

Damn lazy bag of fur... lucky too, Erin thought to himself as he sighed softly still trying to figure out what the teacher was lecturing on.

Rue Tyryl

The fairy thing startled her as it buzzed right up to her and Luca. She sat back slightly, staring at the pretty little fairy as she yelled at her and Luca. The threat of having eucalyptus and thorns shoved into them was an unpleasant thought to say the least. However, Rue couldn't possibly imagine how such a tiny creature could manage such a feat and so the threat fell short to her. Not to mention that with Snow, the little fairy wasn't ever going to get that close to her to do so.

"That would be kind of funny to watch her try to do," Snow said to her as she lazily flapped her wings in response to the fairy's threats.

Rue opened her mouth to respond, but she remembered Luca's chiding her about speaking out loud to her bond in public so she remained silent. She knew that for the most part Snow could read her thoughts, but putting those thoughts into a coherent sentence was a feat in and of itself for Rue. Her emotions were what drove her to speak. So, instead, she settled for shrugging her shoulders and looking back at the text and the projection that the teacher had up on the board.

Luca M. Feygor

"The both of you had best shut your mouth before I shove eucalyptus branches up your asses and thorns in you mouths,"

Reclining in his seat slightly, Luca plastered an innocent smile over his face in response to the fairy’s deadly glare. The teacher’s bond was coloured entirely green, making her stand out from their relatively dark surroundings like a glowing firefly. Over the course of his life he’d seen eyes far more frightening and brutal than those but he accepted the scolding, acknowledging they were in the wrong for talking after all.

“My mistake,” He apologised, scratching the back of his head in mild embarrassment, “My classmate was just kindly informing me which page we were at”

Idly, he glanced in Rue’s directed and smirked slightly, noting that she hardly seemed intimidated by the fairy’s threats either. Maybe she’s more confident than I first thought, he mused.

Luca flipped over several pages in his open book, making a show of reaching the right page. The text at the front of the page read ‘The Third War of Tyrillia’. Although he’d never before properly delved into the in-depth politics and details surrounding the war, it was a historic event he understood the basics of.

She had put up pictures and texts on the projection board and got behind her desk. She noticed people passing notes to each other, they had very pitiful techniques of discretion but she decided to let them have their fun. She wondered if they even remembered that they were in class. Jenniphael was terrible with authority but when she wanted to have student's attention she would get it.

"Want me to do the honors?" Asked Dzidzi.

"No that's alright," Jenniphael turned off the projector, put back the books she brought into her bag and went to the door then turned off the lights of the classroom and cracked open the door.

Aslan Portegar

His feet stomped on the floor as he started heading toward the exit of school grounds. He had to go. Nothing would stop him not even Babur who had his jaw closed on his pants trying to pull him back.

I don't know what you read in the letter, but you can't just leave, you have Special Bond's class next! Babur said as he tried not to hurt Aslan.

"Aslan!" Berach came running with Sullivan already a head of him to get a hold of Aslan's arm, "Where do you think you're going?"

"To save what is left of my family, if there is anyone left!" His sudden outburst was louder than what he had wished for and it caused Berach to halt in his tracks, "That's right! This letter was just given to me but who know how long ago it was sent and my fahter clearly says that the whole North of Tyrillia is under attack which is exactly where my family lives. My mother is dead, all of the servants are dead and who knows, my dad is probably dead too!"

"Aslan, you need to calm down," Berach tried to grab his shoulder but he ripped away and pointed at Berach in his face in accusation.

"When you said that the war wasn't completely over, what did you mean? Just how current is it? How close is it?"

Berach was unable to answer because just then a flaming rock crashed in the middle of the court forcing Aslan and Berach to take cover on the floor. In just a few instants Aslan could hear ringing of swords blasts of gun shots and orders being shouted out. He had heard stories of war but he had never in his life imagined to get caught up in one.

"That's how close it is," Berach answered as they ran.

An announcement was made to all the students: Students! Listen carefully, all classes are finished, you must take cover in the Auditorium right away, no delaying, don't go to get precious items becuase they won't be precious anymore if you're dead. Get to the Auditorium right away!

Berach dragged Aslan away from the edge of school grounds where Aslan noticed a crowd closing in on the school but there were others fighting them. There were catapults throwing rocks in both ways and there were Bonds forcing themselves onto each other to rip their throats out. Babur and Sullivan followed Aslan and Berach to the Auditorium.

All the students were gathered but Aslan just sat in a corner with Babur. He had dropped his father's letter when they were outside and now the only thing on his mind was how were they not going to die. If everyone was going to act just like they had at capture the flag, death was not a probability but a certainty. Things were crazy, just a few seconds ago there was nothing and now there were armed men trampling on the fresh green grass of the school.

"Gather 'round!" Berach yelled, the other teachers were on the stage with the principal and him, "This is not a drill, this is not a game. This is war. Some of you have talents in fighting, some of you are talented in other things but all of you are warriors and we are going to get through this together. For now the Tyrillian military is holding them off but we're going to have to help them and for that you're going to get a quick lesson from Jenniphael Durmane Special Bonds teacher."

Amalthea Oprah

When Aslan ran out she went back to eating and thought that he just had a family problem that he needed to deal with but then the whole cafeteria shook and when she looked out the window the grass was burning and there was a giant boulder in the middle of the court. She looked out at the horizon and noticed people fighting, they were far but there were so many that every sound they made could be heard all the way to the school. Panic ran in her and then he looked at Cerberus who had come closer to her so that she could be safe.

"What's going on?"

An announcement was made through the speaker and she immediately headed toward the Auditorium. Luckily she didn't have to go outside to do so, she ran through the halls with Cerberus right at her side. When they got to the Auditorium she sat on a chair and tried catching her breath. Then Berach made his speech that froze her blood and stopped her heart. The only thing Amalthea was talented in was music and hiding behind Cerberus while he did all the fighting then when she saw Jenniphael the History teacher she wondered how such a frail woman with such a small Bond could fight.

"I know you all remember me as your History teacher, but I am also your Special Bonds teacher and I am going to have to speed up today's class which can be very dangerous so I'm going to ask you to be very serious about this because if you're not you could die," that was not very reassuring coming from her mouth.

Students! Listen carefully, all classes are finished, you must take cover in the Auditorium right away, no delaying, don't go to get precious items because they won't be precious anymore if you're dead. Get to the Auditorium right away!

No sooner then the intercom had clicked off there came gunshots that practically shook the building under their feet and the yelling of an army off in the distance. Wide eyes flew to the large cafeteria windows, proving that it wasn’t a lie and the fighting wasn’t so very far away. Aubrey stared, standing with her feet glued to the floor, lunch tray still clutched in hands with white knuckles. This wasn’t real. It was some test Berach wanted to throw at them... it had to be.

Bren shoved his shoulder into his stock-still bond, jolting her nerves into catching herself on a table instead of following her tray as it hit the ground. Their eyes met and the words from the intercom made their way back into her brain. “Right, Auditorium. Let’s go.” She murmured, already leading Bren from the cafeteria, the sounds of shots and yelling sounding louder in her ears then they actually were.

They entered the Auditorium, filling quickly as Berach and their Special Bonds/History teacher spoke to them all. "This is not a drill, this is not a game. This is war." Berach spoke, deadly serious.

Her breath was suddenly gone, leaving her lungs aching and her stomach twisted into such knots that would make a weaver proud. War. The word swam in eddies around her mind, confounding. She rejected the idea, tried to push it away. But it boomed in her head, thudding to the beat of her heart and bombing and exploding and her vision went red with fear until Bren nibbled at one of Aubrey’s clenched fists and she was able to suck in air and hold it, trying to focus on what Ms. Durmane was saying.

"I know you all remember me as your History teacher, but I am also your Special Bonds teacher and I am going to have to speed up today's class which can be very dangerous so I'm going to ask you to be very serious about this because if you're not you could die."

Aubrey bit her lip and gripped a fist of Bren’s feathery coat to steady herself, neck stretched as she searched through the people. She found Aslan in a corner, just sitting. His face was overcast, calculating something. Not good. She ducked down and weaved through people, reaching the golden lion first. Aubrey watched Aslan, worry crossing her face. Now that she was in front of him, she didn’t know quite what to say. He was just the most familiar face.

She sucked in breath and opened and closed her lips a few times, but finally just shut them. Now was not the time for some stupid joke, not that she could even think of one with her mind still faintly spinning with surprise.

“Any other news?” she decided to ask, although a stupidly obvious question, turning to the golden lion beside her stiff friend.

Rue Tyryl

“Rue? Rise and shine, don't make me kiss you again. I’m sorry but seems i'll have to put off being a pillow again, things may have gone awry... Snow, stick close to me, I’ll likely have to teleport us.”

She groaned as she slowly came awake, feeling his fingers across her small frame. Not wanting to get up, she turned her head the other way and was instantly comfortable again. Rue would have fallen right back asleep had Luca not moved himself out from under her. With a bit of a pout to her lips and a groan, she pushed her white hair from her face and turned to look at him. There was an urgency in his eyes that woke her immediately.

"What is it Luca?" She asked him, but before he could answer her, a nurse interrupted. The woman was relieved they were awake, but Rue was utterly confused. What the hell is going on? She thought to herself, an eyebrow coming down as she watched the exchange between Luca and the woman in white. Not long after that and Maya was taken to be right next to them, her black hair messy from being in bed for a long time. In the next instant, the room blurred around her and the scenery changed. Instead of a warm comfortable bed beneath her, she found herself lying on her stomach in the middle of the auditorium. The cold hard floor greeting her harshly.

With yet another groan, she pushed herself up to her hands and knees, forgetting completely her stitched wound. As she pushed herself up and leaned back, she felt the pull of the stitches then and immediately hunched forward to ease the tension, her lips tightening as she bit the inside of her cheek to keep from uttering a soft sound of pain. The last thing she wanted was to worry Luca any more than she already had. Snow whirled around her head a few times before landing on her shoulder, her wings extended partially as she was agitated.

"What's happening Luca?" She asked, her eyes locked on him as she sat there on her knees. Absently she reached up and stroked Snow's chest, her fingers running across the downy feathers of the phoenix. For a single moment, her eyes left his as she scanned the room. The auditorium was packed, much like the first day she'd started school. On stage was the president of the school, Berach and their general educations teacher. She was speaking, and from what Rue could gather, the little woman was also supposed to be their special bonds teacher.

The room echoed with the teachers voice as she said that they were bout to have their first, and probably only, lesson on special bonds. However, what really got Rue's heart racing, was her ending words. 'I am going to have to speed up today's class which can be very dangerous so I'm going to ask you to be very serious about this because if you're not you could die'. Die? What was it the other teacher had said? She hadn't been paying attention as she'd been focused on waking up completely and getting herself off the cold floor.

"He said this is war, Rue. There's a war going on!" Snow answered for her, flapping her wings.

"War!?" Rue's eyes shot to her bond as she unconsciously took hold of Luca's fingers. Ice flooded her veins as she stared at the bond, then looked from Luca back to the stage. With a sharp intake of breath she turned around, pulling her stitches as she did so, and looked out into the crowd for Erin and the large black dire wolf. It wasn't long before she spotted them, and as if they were in tune with each other, his exact sharp green eye color caught hers. Nemesis pushed his way through the students, giving Erin just enough room to rush right behind his large bond.

In a matter of seconds, the boy was right next to them, dropping down and pulling Rue into his arms, "There you are. I was afraid you hadn't been able to get here. It's hell out there! There's fighting right outside the school grounds. There's been a couple of hits to the school to. I could hear them on my way here from the cafeteria. I didn't think you'd gotten out of the infirmary," his voice flooded her ears as he spoke quickly, refusing to let her go.

"I'm alright, Erin. Luca was with me the entire time."

To this, Erin looked up off his sisters shoulder and gave an appreciative smile to the boy sitting next to her, "Thanks man. I owe you a lot."

Nemesis planted himself right between them all, his eyes scanning the students all around them, his fur bristling lightly. The dire wolf was highly sensitive to the actions and the threatening presence outside the school. Finally, Erin released his sister and she scooted herself closer to Luca. The room was getting crowded.

"What now?" Rue asked.

"Don't know," Erin shrugged, "But whatever happens, try not to get separated. Got it?"

Rue swallowed and nodded her head, her eyes narrowing to match the determined look on her brothers face. She wasn't planning on getting separated, especially from Luca.

They arrived in the Auditorium only to be greeted by a growing sense of panic. Both students and teachers alike hurried back and forth, the same discernible panic and concern written across every ones faces. Luca blinked in the confusion, still not entirely certain what to make of the situation himself. Berach strode forth to address them all then, sending his voice booming across the room to capture their attention quickly.

"This is not a drill, this is not a game. This is war. Some of you have talents in fighting, some of you are talented in other things but all of you are warriors and we are going to get through this together. For now the Tyrillian military is holding them off but we're going to have to help them and for that you're going to get a quick lesson from Jenniphael Durmane Special Bonds teacher." With his announcement finished, Berach stepped aside briskly, making way for Jenniphael to speak at the centre of the stage.

"I know you all remember me as your History teacher, but I am also your Special Bonds teacher and I am going to have to speed up today's class which can be very dangerous so I'm going to ask you to be very serious about this because if you're not you could die,"

Luca reflected on the teacher’s speech with a growing sense of trepidation. He hesitated to consider the next step, like predicting the bad ending to a story you didn’t want to read about. Cold eyes narrowed as his own concern for Rue’s safety grew rapidly, causing him to clutch onto her hand tightly just as she did to his own. Erin emerged out of the crowds then, the young man’s silvery hair and dark bond a welcome sight even amidst the colourful array of students and bonds. Erin approached them rapidly to check on Rue, settling down only to hug her tightly in relief as he reached them. Luca smirked as he watched them like a pair of reunited lovers, Rue all the while attempting to soothe over her brother’s distress by abusing his presence.

"Thanks man. I owe you a lot."

“It’s fine. More importantly, we seem to have more pressing matters to attend to,” Luca casually returned their attentions to the issue at hand. Finally freed from Erin’s overprotective grip, Rue shuffled herself back to his side, prompting Luca to grin happily at her. “The bright side is there won’t be any rope traps like in the afternoon class for you to get swept away in,” he swayed, unable to resist the temptation to tease her, “But sticking together is a sound idea,” he nodded in confirmation with Erin. Following his suggestion, Luca stood back slightly and slapped a piece of paper onto the ground, making floor space for Blue Horror as the demon shimmered into existence then.

“So, it comes to this,” Blue’s twisted voice hammered into his ears immediately upon materialising, almost impairing his hearing as it crossed all of five its blue arms in front of them.

“I thought this sort of thing would’ve made you happy?” Luca replied, his voice terse as his eyes fell on the demon with disgust. As ever, its mere presence was enough to disrupt his peaceful memories.

“Unfortunately, my only purpose in life now was the one designated to me back then,” Blue Horror responded despondently.

Dzidzi stood on her shoulder and then something happened, they both started to glow a green color then Jenniphael lifted a hand and a rose grew in the palm of her hand then it became large and it disappeared. Then Dzidzi flew off of Jenniphael's shoulder and suddenly vines started growing on all of the walls like an infection. When Dzidzi had backed up the growth of the vines until they were all gone and returned onto Jenniphael's shoulder both of their green glows disappeared.

"The basics of Bonding is giving your strength to your Bond or them giving it to you," explained Jenniphael, "Increase their strength or increase your strength."

She looked around at the students then pointed at Luca, "You already know how to do this but do not perfect it because you quickly get tired once you stop the link and that is why I will show you haw to use it without losing your strength."

"First, you all have that link with your Bonds where you can hear their thought and know what they're think. Well, stop it. Don't listen to what they're thinking, don't know what they're going to do, they have to become just like a normal unknown person standing next to you. Stay like that for a few seconds and then the both of you have to imagine being just like your Bonds. In my case, I image being a fairy and she imagines she is a human, once the both of you are concentrated on that though, reopen the link and you will feel energy flowing through, but do not get careless. Stay concentrated or else the energy will consume the both of you."

Jenniphael watched the students concentrating and getting their likes in motion, their glows all of different colors then she jumped off of the stage and went to see students, "Second, when the link is done, if you receive your Bond's power you can use their power. For example, Rue, you can use ice and cold, Amalthea, you can kill by simply wishing for it but be careful who you wish for, Aubrey, you can have the swiftness and the sight of a griffin. It's an endless list, and if you give them strength their powers multiply by five."

Amalthea Oprah

She listened to every word Jenniphael said and she started her link with Cerberus, it was very hard to stop their simple every day link because she had always found it normal. How could she stop something that was just as normal was walking and breathing? It took a very long time until she finally got it and then Cerberus and herself opened the link up again and the both of them had a black glow surrounding them. She felt amazing but stayed concentrated because she didn't want to die after learning something so refreshing.

"Amalthea, you can kill by simply wishing for it but be careful who you wish for," Jenniphael's words struck Amalthea in the heart.

"Wait! How could I possibly do that if Cerberus can't do that!" Amalthea panicked.

"Your Bond is Cerberus, the guardian of the dead, of course he can take life without using his jaws or claws, he just hasn't discovered the power yet."

Luca M. Feygor

As her wide eyes dropped from his face, the soft squeak of a laugh reassured him she was alright. He only eased when he noticed the sum of her fears ebbing away, the blushing smile which rushed to her face to replace it spawning a grin of his own. A grin which widened as he caught Erin’s and Nemesis’ presumptuous cough, indicating they should probably recompose themselves. Luca started to pull away but a fresh look in her eyes stalled him as he recognised it immediately as the same look she’d had in the infirmary. His own heart began to race as the memory of that time generated a series of dangerous thoughts.

"Well, I guess if you must have a promise from me, then ask away. I'll promise you anything," she broached with a winning smile. Not a trace of her earlier timidness remained; Rue was utterly composed and utterly charming as she leaned in tightly, her words teasing his imagination as the creamy smell of her presence filled him. "Just remember, this is your fault, and I can think of far crueller punishments than just being a pillow," Once again she stolen the initiative from him, like pulling the rug from under his feet. He marvelled at her newfound boldness, feeling both strangely excited and apprehensive in response to her. She leaned in like a natural, her proximity now filling him with nothing but thoughts about her. "But you might like that those kinds of punishments." Luca choked out a hoarse laugh, but as he looked back, her mischievous smile informed him she was enjoying this also. She really did consider it repayment for all his earlier teasing.

There was no time to chastise her behaviour because the enemy chose their time to interrupt them then. From across the hallway came the shattering of glass, alerting them to the mismatched cluster of critters flooding through the ruined windows. Luca started forwards as the initial assault wave pressed in, sharp claws and jaws snapping. Luca saw Snow spiral upwards, raining blades of ice, he spotted the swift black blur of Nemesis leaping into action, tearing the throats from his foes. He spotted Rue over Erin, a dragon frozen into an icicle in her hands. Some of the students who’d been situated in the immediate vicinity of the attack simply ran and fled in panic, others held their ground staunchly. One harpy bond in particular was tearing into their uninvited guests with relish.

Luca though, Luca was terrifying. Despite the burning pain in his ribs preventing him from applying any real pressure in his left arm, Luca was no slouch in close combat. Curled within the bottom of his fists, Luca had adapted sharpened credit cards into weapons, using the edges like shortened daggers to stab and gouge at his opponents with both arms. And with a kick like a mule, numerous bonds tumbled away at his feet as he stood before Rue, "That promise Rue, don't worry about it. I help you because i want to help you."

In no matter of time the wave had been subdued thanks to the combined effort of the students and various personnel were now working to board up gap in the wall in the aftermath of their attack. Abruptly, luscious green vines sprang into life around them, covering walls of the Auditorium and making the room look as if it'd been overgrown. Jenniphael grabbed their attention once more, addressing the entire cohort and particularly Luca when she pointed to him, much to his surprise.

Luca’s hooded eyes fell upon Blue Horror, his expression dark. A decrepit sensation sank into his stomach as he tried imagining himself as the demon. Nothing. Such mutual understanding was impossible for two drastically opposed beings such as him and his bond. He bit the bottom of his lip, Jenniphael was right and Luca knew it. He expended his energy far too fast when using Blue’s abilities, yet it was hopeless trying to change that. How could both of them come to terms after all their lingering hatred for one another?

Rue Tyryl

"That promise Rue, don't worry about it. I help you because i want to help you," Luca's voice penetrated the air around her and she turned to look up at his back as he was fighting off a handful of the little bonds that attacked them. Her eyes widened at him in surprise and admiration. All thoughts on how wonderful he truly was. Soon after and the short attack in the auditorium was subdued and the Special Bond's teacher sent her fairy out into the crowd. Vines erupted across the walls, covering up the broken windows and twining together so tightly that Rue didn't think that even the students would be able to get out.

Then she turned to the woman who was speaking, telling them about how to strengthen their connection and create a stronger, more powerful bond that would regulate energy use and be thousands of times more effective. Rue turned her eyes to Snow as the bright white bond flew back to her and landed on her shoulder. Standing, she raised an eyebrow as the teacher pointed at her directly, specifying certain students in the crowd, Luca included. Rue knew that she could use her bonds power as well as her bond using Rue's own abilities. Not that she had many skills, but her tiny body and the ability to move quite quickly always came in handy. Being a former gymnast gave her the advantage of being highly flexible. Movement was her specialty, bending and twisting, dodging and ducking. It all came naturally to her that for the most part, during a fight she'd be leading her attacker, right to where she wanted them before she sprung back.

All those thoughts flitted through her mind as she envisioned exactly what she would do should she fall prey to the attackers against Tryillia. She would lead them to Luca, knowing full well that he and his bond would easily dispatch anyone who wished to cause harm to her. He would probably do it without a second thought as well. Rue concluded that she would do the same for him should anything happen to him. She would encase the entire school in dry ice for him if it came down to that. Both her and Snow began trying to concentrate and feel what the teacher was telling them, but another crash against the school walls distracted her and Rue fell out of tune with Snow.

"Don't worry. You and I will be fine. We've got a close enough bond between us. We'll get it eventually. In the mean time, save your energy, Rue. I have a feeling we're going to need it. If we plan things right, neither of us will run out of energy before the end."

Rue nodded, "Alright," she said to Snow then turned to Erin who was gazing at his bond, a small smile on his face as the two shared some personal jokes between each other. She was fairly sure she knew what they were talking about. Erin wishing to be the wolf and Nemesis despising the fact that he had to think about himself being a human. The teasing would be ceaseless, but they both knew what they had to do and they probably had more practice with it than Rue and Snow.

Sidling up next to Luca, she put her arm around his waist as best she could, her tiny frame dwarfed by his athletic build, her eyes turned upwards to send him a small grin, "Remind me when this is all over that I have plans for you," she said. Anything to keep the bating war outside off her mind. As long as she could stay distracted until the actual fighting started, she was sure to be alright. If she sat there and just thought about it, she would grow apprehensive and when they needed her, she would be nothing but a shell of pure emotions bent out of shape.
