Name: Doctor Daniel Hoohe(Pronounced Hoo), but everybody calls him The Doctor, or just Doctor, because it's the only name he ever uses.
Nicknames: The Doctor
Age: Somewhere around 904, although he looks to be in his mid 20's.
Hometown: Bathgate, Scotland
Sexuality: It varies, depending on his mood.

Power: Time Travel and semi-omnilingualism, David can move through time as he wishes, and can also take anyone he wishes with him. To explain why he doesn't cause paradoxes, he just explains time as a big ball of wibbley-wobbley, timey-wimey... Stuff. His mucking about in time also has made him somewhat immortal. Although he could die if subjected to usual means, he will simply show up about three seconds after the event occurs, thanks to large amounts of time aether getting discombobulated by his death. However, those who incur his anger often meet a much worse fate than death. As a sort of side-effect, his travels often seem to coincide with either major historical events or with events that were placed under tight wraps because of him, through no action on his part. He also has an increased lifespan, and has lived hundreds of year's worth in his own personal chronological timeline. Finally, due to time travel doing wonky things to the English language, he and anyone he travels with can understand the main languages spoken in that time, but only Daniel can actually speak them. However, if he's unconscious, the local omnilinguism is cut off, leaving everyone else only capable of speaking and understanding their languages. For these events, actual omnilinguists are great chaperones for field trips.

Secrets: May have possibly been the true founder of the school by accident after a rather nasty muck-up in time in 1859.

Skills: Staying calm no matter what, being incredibly intelligent(having had hundreds of years of experience), can read a book in just a few seconds, getting himself almost anywhere, and being incredibly persuasive. As a side note, he is a natural when it comes to using weapons, but almost never touches them due to his spite for tools of killing.
Deficits: He's seen more than any human should ever see. Imagine PTSD if the person had spent at least 300 years witnessing nothing but war. Also, the immortality itself can be a curse. Also, his gift of tongues doesn't work if it's not a common language of the time and place(i.e., during his time in California, he could understand Spanish, but not Chinese, French, etc.)
Likes: Teaching, time travel, humanity's good side, bananas, tea
Dislikes: People who abuse humanity for their own gain, people who slack off in class, and pears. GOD, he hates pears.

Personality: Daniel can be very cheerful, charismatic and enthusiastic, often at inappropriate times, even in the midst of danger. Because of his tendency to be polite, he's genuinely shocked whenever he comes across as rude. However, given his slight sense of superiority, this tends to occur more than he realizes. As someone who has seen everything that humanity has to offer, he is prone to righteous anger, and is the reason that Rome fell to the Gauls. When driven by anger or justice, he acts without hesitation to strike down those who oppose him. At these times, a ruthless, almost arrogant personality will emerge, which is almost eerie to behold. Daniel has a very forgiving nature, but if his patience has been fully tested, his enemy will receive no second chance, and he will not hesitate to punish them in whatever way he deems necessary. He has a very hard time accepting failure, and will often push himself to the extreme to accomplish his task. He has a great passion for all of humanity, and his desire to protect it surpasses all else, even when forced to choose between humanity and his own personal desires, although he has proven more than capable of getting both through a third option. Romantically, he has been involved with several women across time, often taking them with him on his travels, but cursed to see every one of them die before he did.
History: Daniel was born to a widowed watchmaker in 1987 on January 1 at midnight, with his aunt acting as midwife. His life was relatively normal up until his 18th birthday, when the great Narrator in the sky unlocked his powers of time travel, and he was left in California during the time it was still under Spain's control, where he ended up as the partner of Diego, the man who would eventually come to be known in stories as Zorro(It was often Daniel saving him that sparked the stories.). As he came to get a grip on his power, he time traveled to the Titanic on its maiden voyage with his friend, where he met his first romantic lover, Rose Flynt. As you'd expect, this didn't last long, mainly due to large amounts of water sweeping her away from him before he could take her with them. After this, he and Diego went to go see the future, where they intercepted the first major alien contact, which would have resulted in global destruction otherwise. It was here that he and Diego parted ways, for Diego had found himself quite a niche in being the hero of the world, and Daniel was more than happy to let him have the spotlight. His next trip brought him to ancient Rome, where he met his second love, Julia Loquatius Secundus. He ended up marrying her, using his advanced knowledge to become the best baker out there(Think cinnamon rolls in a time where BREAD was treated like an art.). However, after a series of events set in motion by a certain emperor who shall remain nameless that peaked with the death of Julia and his child, he set the ball rolling that ended in the fall of the Roman Empire. As the years passed, he continued his travels, until he became insinuated in almost every storyteller's words out there, be it as the trickster god who gave the arrogant their just desserts, or as the demon sent to punish those who were evil. Eventually, he felt his powers begin to pull towards a certain era, one where people like him were beginning to take the baby steps towards being heroes of their own accord. Inspired, he set himself up there as the teacher for all things mundane, such as history, maths, and any other classes they might need. Since he had given up his name after the events in Rome, he decided he needed a new name... He figured that he was going to be a teacher, and teachers often need Doctorates, which he had several of, so he would simply be called... The Doctor.

Other: Treasures his overcoat much in the way Indiana Jones loves his hat, it was given to him by Janis Joplin the day before she died. She had another one, but some man came out of a police box and she gave it to him. Also has a pair of tortoiseshell rectangular-frame glasses, which he calls his "brainy specs". They don't really do anything but make his eyesight a little clearer, he just thinks they make him look smart.

So begins...
