Powers:
Electrokinesis: Liberty can both generate, control, and sense electric currents. This is one of her strongest powers. Over the years, she's honed her abilities to a deadly level. She can shoot bolts of electricity of varying intensities, absorb electricity from the environment around her, and run an electric current over her skin to keep anyone from touching her. She can only shoot electricity about as far as she could physically throw something and the stronger the bolt, the "heavier" it feels to her. When she throws bolts, it drains her and takes time, so to generate a bolt strong enough to kill a person, she'd either have to draw energy from something around her or risk draining herself to the point of harming herself.
Technopathy: This power is an extension of her electrokinesis. Liberty can control electronics with her mind and see the information they hold. She does a certain amount of this intuitively, but the more she knows about a kind of technology, the more powerful she is. Her power works very similarly to a virus. She can directly control anything she can touch or within arm's reach, but now that most things are connected to a network, she's able to worm her way into devices much farther away. The simpler the device, the more easily she can control something.
Biokinesis: This is her weakest power and she thinks it may be related to her electrokinesis as well. Liberty is able to speed up someone else's healing. She can heal herself, but not as quickly or as thoroughly as she can heal others.

Oddities:
Liberty has a bad habit of drawing on herself, so you're likely to catch glimpses to doodles, notes, and designs peeking out at you from her legs, hands and arms.
Personality:
{Manipulative, Proud, Playful, Guarded}
Liberty is proud to be who she is, and this pride spills out into all aspects of her life. Her hair, clothes, and makeup are chosen meticulously every morning, done with care, and maintained throughout the day. Her room and car are kept neat and tidy, perfectly decorated and organized. Anything that could possibly the considered an extension of her must be maintained just so. She thinks carefully before she speaks and doesn't have a problem bending the truth or playing a character to get people to give her what she wants. Overall, she is slow to anger- she'd rather use her energy getting the upper hand- but she doesn't tolerate slights against herself or her family very well.
Liberty guards her hear, as one would expect from someone who's had a life as tough as hers. The truth is, people come and people go. Unless someone has proven that they'll be one of the few people who stays, Liberty doesn't see much of a point in getting attached. She knows some vampires who see this as something to be morose about, but for her, it just means there's more room to play. She'd rather enjoy eternity instead of spending it mourning.

History:
Liberty was born sometime in the mid-1700s to a mother who had once been a slave, but who had been freed before Liberty was born (hence her original name, Liberty Freeman). Her mother was a severe and hard-working woman, but then, in those times there was no other way to be in her situation. Liberty never knew her father, but as she grew older, it became exceedingly clear that her father was a white man. She grew up always being kept hidden away, lest the mere sight of her incite rage in the other residents of the small town in South Carolina. Her mother worked as a maid for a wealthy white man with abolitionist leanings, Mr. Clayton Dawkins. Mr. Dawkins treated them decently, paid her mother a fair wage, and even took the time to teach them both to read and write. For a long time, there was a painful and uneasy peace. Liberty learned quickly to keep out of the way of people in town, but as she grew older, she grew bolder and angrier. No matter how much her mother warned her not to make waves, she couldn't help it. Why was her mother made to humiliate herself every time she went to the town store or walked down the street?
When she was 19, there was a slave revolt in a town a few days ride away and Liberty's world was shattered. The people in her town lashed out at Mr. Dawkins, who had made his support for freeing all slaves known throughout the town. It started with just a few snide comments in town, then it was a few broken windows, and finally a mob formed outside of their home. She never knew how exactly the fire started, but once it was going, all three found the door barred and the windows nailed shut. Her mother's last act was to lift Liberty up into the attic so that she could sneak her way down from the roof. She meant to try and free one of the doors, but by the time she had, she was succumbing to smoke inhalation. [LEADER] found her there, dying, an orphan, and saved her life, making her a vampire.
