Introduction
But not everyone agreed with them. The "Norms" of society stood out, protesting that they didn't want their innocent children fouled by these vampires, spirits, witches, demons and remaining otherworldly "abominations." So it was Vladamir Poe who was the first to suggest that all supernatural beings mature enough to enter a college atmosphere should have the right to learn. Not only about the tedious academia courses, the algebra, the trigonometry, the english, the speech, but also learn more about their skills.
Abrupt to the protests and lynches of future students, Mr. Poe opened the Broken Chains University to help these creatures defend themselves from the public that hated them so much. From that day forward, every being with a talent misconstrued as a curse was asked to join. Expenses covered by the many governments that just wanted their "problems" locked away from the Norms, food catered to everyone's specific liking, security to try and cut down on the natural riff raff that would occur withing the walls of the establishment. Everything seems so simple and easy, correct?
Having so much power in one area is never easy, nor simple. If it wasn't the students that would try to kill each other it would be the many, many saboteurs, assassins, and vigilantes that sneak into the University to "expunge the buildings of the impure." So, that's the way it's been. After Vladamir, a vampiric spirits himself, was killed by a brilliantly concocted ruse formulated by the norms, the school went into recession, keeping out anybody who might harm the students, but also leaving the talented out in the world, loose with their powers too untamed to control.
It's only recently the doors have opened, shrouded with mystery, a new Headmaster, new teachers, new classes and a completely institutionalized and revamped college experience. So, will your creature be accepted? What does this new school have in stock? Will it be better than before, or simply another ruse, doomed to fail like before?

“Teryl? That name...it suits you for some reason.” When she heard that he was angel, she couldn't believe it! She was standing next to something that she never believed to meet, at least not while she was alive. “Oh wow...that is amazing! So you know what is like to fly! That is amazing. You must feel so free when you are flying!” Her eyes were full of admiration, she didn't seem to mind that fact that he lost his authority, to her he was something out of her wildest dreams. She would love to know his ways, his customs, what it was like up there, what it was like to fly. She seemed to almost change for a moment, her intrigue was greater then her shyness it seemed.
And then he offered her one of the greatest things she could ever imagine. As he pulled his wings back, he let the left one limp, and even told her that she could touch it. Ellais was in shock, and overwhelmed with joy. The young witch reached out with a shaking bandage hand, it glistened from the ointment. Oh yeah...the ointment. She would hate to mess up something so pretty with burn cream. She quickly withdrew her hands and gave Teryl a small smile. “Mmaybe next time, I would hate to mess up your wings. But maybe in a few days, when I don't have to wear the bandages or use the cream anymore, I can. If you will allow it.”
Ellais then pouted when she heard that the demons in hell thought that Daisy was ugly. Daisy was probably one of the prettiest girls Ellais had ever seen! “They are stupid then! You are so pretty! Men would be fawning over you here, if they weren't so scared of the fact we are different.” The young woman said as she fumbled with the zipper of her Marvel bag, pulling out a baggy shirt with what appeared to be Jack Skellington on it. Ellais appeared to like cartons and the likes. “Um...this may fit you.” The witch said as she held out the shirt.
As she held out the shirt she suddenly became aware that there was another in the room...she turned her head slowly, her nerves taking control of her once more.
It appeared that a young man had entered the room while she was staring at the angel, and he appeared to be...well blind. For some reason it made her relax a little, maybe it was because he couldn't see her...or so she thought. “Um...hello there...” She said softly, her eyes looking at the ground once more. “Ddo you need help sir?” If there was one thing that could be said about this girl was that she was kind...if not shy around strangers.

Teryl tried to talk more, but once the last man opened the envelope, he heard something coming from the amphitheater looking room...the sound of film flipping. He didn't know if anyone else heard, but tried to walk away without being seen. He looked in the room after taking a few steps away to see a old time film playing on a pulled out projector screen. It had a cartoon version of a group of Uniques, witches, warewolves, demons, nymphs, spirits, sirens and many more, standing together and waving at the camera. The picture was cheery and joyful and the sounds of a broken music box was playing in the background with the words, "Together, we survive."
The lights were starting to dim as the movie started to play. Teryl was thinking of calling the others over, but didn't know if they wanted to get more acquainted and simply stood there, watching.

Her attention turned once more to Ellais as she called Daisy pretty, she smiled and went over and ruffled her hair. "Thanks, I apprecaite that! So are you though." She complimented the girl, meaning it. Ellais started to fumble with her zipper and Daisy watched as she pulled a sweater out of it. She felt her insides turn to goo at the prospect of a nice, cozy sweater at the moment. Her wish was greeted as Ellais handed her the sweater. Daisy squealed and gave her a huge hug, soon after putting the sweater on herself. She sighed with contemptment and said her thanks.
The noise of footsteps alarmed her as another. She turned and grinned at the new guy walking it, wearing sunglasses for some odd reason. She wasn't exactly sure of the reason humans wore those but she jusy shrugged, to each their own. "Hey, how are you? Rough crowds?" She asked the guy. He looked human like but she knew that there would be something different about him, it was the sole reason any of them where there.
"And Teryl, there's an envelope under the table . . . it must've fallen there. But the person's incredibly late, maybe something happened?" She asked, not wanting the suspicion to creaked into her voice. If it was taking them that long, maybe that person was the unfortunate soul who lost their head in the crowd.

"There is the Mana Manipulator, a circulated house for the students based on mana. Inside, you will find a pool of mana to fill your every spell and a library of updated and ancient spells. Be wary for the older spells, they tend to need more experience for them to work. You can find your experiences at the classrooms. We'll go over them in the future." The character continued to walk until they happened upon another building.
"This is the Hall of Deferment, used for those who need targets, either moving or solidity. Think of this room as a training center. Here you will find trainers, captains, and of course, targets. So if you prefer the melee portion of training or just need to test out your talents, come here. Our dummies are built with the toughest obsidian, infused with diamonds for support and soaked in magic resist vapors for those magi. So don't hold back and let loose, just don't hurt other students in the making."
By now, Teryl was fascinated by the old movie. He was sitting on one of the chairs and continued to watch, wondering how long this demonstration was.

Then someone asked, “ D..do you need any help, sir?” He didn't look right at the person asking, he knew better than to allow himself that kind of mistake. Instead, he started surrounding her figure. It looked as if he was checking her out, but it was the only way to see her without reading her feelings. She was way too young to go to any university at all, but maybe she wasn't what she seemed to be. Jules wasn't the kind of guy to look at girls like that, if you know what I mean, so he instantly replied in a rather amused tone. “ Don't think so, but do me a favour and drop the sir, if you don't mind.”
Jules' childhood had been a rather lonesome one, most of the help had tried to stay out of his way. There had always been a nanny or two, but most of the time, he'd spent time with his dad or his mum. It hadn't been a bad life, but sometimes, he wished to have a little sister like the her, someone to talk to about trouble. Suddenly however he felt distaste in trusting someone so quickly, it was a little bit embarrassing and he couldn't help but to blush a little.
Then, another girl said something about the crowd outside. “Yeah, those guys are nuts. They're kinda poking into a hornets' nest.” He replied. The other girl was a little taller than the other one, and her hair made her look like some kind of rocker chick. Jules was starting to notice the other people around him.
One of the guys had left the lobby, but he'd looked like an angel or some other kind of winged creature. Jules wasn't up to date with the list of existing modern mythical beings and he surely hoped to find a copy of it somewhere in this university. The last guy looked like a taller and blue haired version of Harry Potter, but in a good way. That guy looked like he could throw a lightning right at Jules face. Reason enough to introduce oneself to the group and get some information on whom to avoid, asap.
“Excuse my lack of manners,
My name is Jules, feel free to call my J or Jules, I honestly hope we get along with each other.”

The man before her looked around her age, and a few inches taller then her. He certainly wasn't muscular, but he wasn't chubby either. Ellais wouldn't have called him handsome, but he also wasn't ugly. He was...he was average, like her. At least that is always how she viewed herself. She couldn't quite place his looks though, racial wise that is. She wasn't too skilled at that.
The witch almost jumped when he suddenly spoke, startled by the sudden noise. “Uum sorry...” She stammered out, kicking at the ground. She hoped he didn't think she was checking him out. Ellais just wanted to know what her classmate was going to be like, and memorize his face. Her big brown eyes quickly returned to the ground, not wanting to upset him further.
She kept her eyes on the ground as the man looked at his other classmates, observing them. She hadn't noticed the angel, Teryl, had left. At least not until she counted the feet in her eyes sight and noticed the metal ones were missing. Ellais wondered where he went, she had liked the angel, and thought they might become friends. But she didn't want to go off without learning the other mans name, and so she waited. Waited until she heard an amazing voice say.
“My name is Jules, feel free to call my J or Jules, I honestly hope we get along with each other.” Ellais gave Jules a small smile before she said. “I-I am Ellais...um I have never had a nickname...well aside from what my parents called me. And um forgive my lack of manners for not offering my hand to shake but...” She held out her bandaged hands. “I can't at the moment...” The young woman said before she looked up and turned around. She could hear the sounds of a movie and started to walk over to it, noticing her winged friend there.
The witch walked up next to him, frowning a little when she heard the word fornicate. “Do they think we would have sex here?” She asked softly, not wanting to interrupt the film.

The show continued and he crossed his arms, getting as comfortable as he could and continuing to listen. "But don't think this campus is only for working, we know that playing is a key point to becoming a master of your arts. On the premises you will find many, many establishments to help your relax in those tough times. We have a pub for those who enjoy the liquor sin. Every type of liquor, beer, hard, soft, and with staff that knows their way around a glass or two. Or, if you enjoy the finer things like gardening or painting, please take a look at our Artisan Acre. Here you will find a half a mile diameter full of gardening patches, paint canvases, and other artistic vassals to channel your creativity."

He wasn’t really good at painting or the arts, except for metal work and jewelry making… that was useful for making focus items… He also was good at wood carving… but he loved books and crafting potions or focus items. He wondered if there was a place that would sell his ingredients. Or if he’d have to order them, many of them were obscure and for each wizard there was a different way to make the same potion. He looked at the film his eyes intent. He also put a hand in his pocket and felt a smooth cool surface. With a frown he pulled out a pale blue stone. He blinked in surprise; he had no recollection of placing that in there. He shook his head and placed it back into his pocket. He continued to watch the film wondering if they were going to talk about where to get food and clothing soon.

The second she arrived she over a conversation about sex and laughed, Jinx and Ellais both blushing. "Come on guys, you act as if you've never had sex before." She said teasingly, letting them know it was a joke so they didn't get offended. She listened in on the movie, getting incredibly excited over the prospect of a garden; she would have to visit it. She thought it was the best quality that anyone could have. She also got somewhat excited over the fact that there would be a bar here, she had yet to consume any human alcohol and she thought that it would be rather interesting. There was art in the garden that she would have to try out, she wasn't particularly the best drawer, stick figure being her specialty, but it would be nice to waste spare time. She would be able to research in the library too, she might be able to find out about new plants.
The film was interesting enough but Daisy didn't like the fact that it was filmed, she found it suspicious that no one came and said this themselves. It made a small shiver run down her spine, she had yet to really see anyone here other than the other four. Her eyebrows creased but she pushed it out of her mind for now, instead just wanting to settle into her room and take a shower, she was feeling gross. Especially since walking through the crowd where they considered it socially acceptable to throw food at others; ick.
She peeked down at the envelope once more, not wanting to have to read it. Daisy was too lazy to read that, not to mention her reading skills weren't the stronger. There weren't exactly books back in Hell, the basics of literature she learnt up here with the florist that helped her out. So she would probably just wait for someone to mention what was in the packet.

The movie started to transition to a fairly serious part where all the character were standing around, hands crossed in front of them and lowering their heads, "Now, we have been talking about rules this entire video and you may ask what they are. We will walk through the rules now, so please, pay attention. " The rules started to pop up on the screen, stating them as the announcer spoke of them. "Rule #1 : Do not attempt to kill any student or worker of this University. You will be discharged or executed. Rule # 2 : Do not expound on magic or training that will harm anyone around you. You will be discharged or executed. Rule # 3 : Do not harm any humans sneaking onto our property, rather report to a superior. You will be discharged. Rule # 4 : Do not break, sneak, or enter a room marked "srianta." You will be discharged. Rule #5 : Respect your masters and teachers. Ramifications will be marked if disobedience is incurred. And last and most important Rule # 6 : Never work with the norms. Never help them with assassinations, never share secret information about the school, never help them in any way when it has to do with disabling the school. Only speak with students shown with ID badges found in your pamphlets. You will be executed." Teryl raised an eyebrow, not remembering a ID badge and emptying the contents in his large hand. The badge fell out after awhile and showed the mark of an angel with a crown of barbed wire and swords spearing him. Above the picture it said, "TERYL, FALLEN ANGEL." He sighed and put it back in the envelope, looking up to see the movie wrapping up.
"Thank you for letting us help you in your time of need. Please, if there are anymore questions, contact your superior, but for now, get some rest..." the screen started to pull up, showing a stair case and a elevator behind it. "you will find which room you are in withing your pamphlets. If you desire to be alone, excellent. If you would like to move in with a roommate, please made the corrective changes with your superior. Welcome, get some rest, use your personal bathroom facilities and congratulations on being a part of the solution...
He managed to gasp a few sentences surrounding the possibility of having sex in this place. Honestly, Jules always wished to go to college and have some fun, but those plans had been put on hiatus a long time ago. Since he was well aware it would take more than a few lessons to gather some sort of control over his situation, there was no need to trouble himself with women. That notion felt as a relieve and a huge disappointment at the same time. In many ways he still was just a guy with needs, there were one or two girls back in his high school days, who would've been interested in satisfying his needs, but now he wasn't sure of anything anymore.
The movie also spoke of a bar, ergo, in other words, alcohol. Plus, everything around this university was meant to be free of charge, that meant: open bar. Every day, every week, freaking every month. There was no way in hell, he wasn't gonna look for a dorm very close to it. During his free years, he had learned many things about alcohol. How, for example, Vodka should never be mixed with Jägermeister unless you want to have a slow puking death or unless you're German ( true story ).
Jules felt rather ambiguous about certain rules. Rule #1 sounded reasonable enough. Rule #2 made it impossible for anyone to use magic for lethal combat, Jules couldn't help but smile when he heard that. Rule #3 still managed to remain reasonable, but rule #4 scared the crap out of him. What exactly meant srianta. It sounded like a word out of a lord of the ring's book. Jules remembered reading something about elventongue being very similar to some Scottish language. Still, he had no idea what it meant. Unfortunately, rule #5 made it even clearer this place wasn't gonna be too easy to survive, if teachers had the power to punish us without any kind of reason except “misconduct”.
The final rule meant one thing for Jules, control. He couldn't help but fear his badge some kind of tracing device, or worse. Maybe he was too eager to distrust people, but time would tell.
For now, he loved the naked blindfolded lady in his badge holding a scroll. Below her, the words:
Jules Armando Villalobos, the Muse.

Ellias's ears seemed to perk up at the sound of an open bar, she had been dying to go to one. She did enjoy her drinks after all, mainly the fruity kind. She had a fondness for anything Mike's. Except the mango one, that stuff tasted nasty, and their cider wasn't too good either. But still, she did like drinking, and she would be certain to visit the bar when she got the chance.
The fact that there was an art place on campus was also exciting to her, she did like to draw from time to time, even though she wasn't as good as she would like. It still helped ease her nerves from time to time...but she wasn't going to be able to hold a pencil again for a long time...
The young witch wondered where should she choose her room, closer to the bar or closer to the Artisan Acre. A frown formed on the young girls face. Decisions, decisions. She decided she would try to find one near both of them if possible. But she had a feeling she would be spending more time at the bar then the Artisan place, at least until her hands healed.
The rules of the place worried her, especially the one about 'Norms coming to assassinate.' What if no one was around and she had to attack? How could they blame her for defending herself? She hoped it would never come to that.
Ellais wondered where her school id was and fumbled through her papers. Her tongue poked out of the corner of her mouth as she searched. It was actually rather hard for her, her fingers were slick with cream and she couldn't feel at the moment, probably wouldn't be able to for the next few days. Well she could feel pressure, but not texture. Finally she let out a sigh and put her papers on the table, spreading them out until she saw the glint of plastic. “AHA!” She let out a truimphent call when she found the concealed id.
As her brown eyes looked it over she frowned, she didn't really like the picture...it was graphic. A woman was tied to a stake, one hand free and held out. As Ellais tilted the picture she saw a glint of fire behind it, the id was holographic it seemed, and the woman was shooting fire even as she was being burned at the stake. It was rather gruesome, and she couldn't help but hope that never happened to her.
She didn't want to think about that too much. And decided to think about the bar. “Um anyone know where the bar is? I could sure use a drink after today...” Her voice was soft and carried its natural husk.

He shifted in his seat when he heard rule two remembering very clearly using his aura blast to disintegrate a rock thrown at him by a norm… of course it was a weak aura blast… but still he may have injured the norm… he hadn’t checked really… he was angry then and he really didn’t care. “I need to remember to keep my anger in check…” he thought to himself. He also knew he hadn’t mastered controlling some of his magic, and magic was very ease to cause back fire… a mistake in a rune or a crack in a magic circle… he shuddered slightly. He also knew that it was wise of him to resist the urge of taking mana, it could have backfired into a burst of destructive mana if he took too much. He blinked when he heard the word srianta before somewhere… but where? He shook his head. He couldn’t remember… he’d ask Teryl and the others later if they knew what it meant. He thought of a list in his head of the rules that would be hard for him to avoid.
“Rule #1 By accident I could end up killing them, Rule #2 Either by accident or loss of emotion, Rule #3 …Hate them will try not to unless I have to defend myself… Are those all? Rule #4 should be easy as well as the others…” he thought to himself. He blinked at the mention of id badges and quickly got his out. He sighed in relief when he saw it only had his first name JINX, WIZARD. He couldn’t help but chuckle a bit at that. “Apprentice really…” he muttered softly. He looked at the idea badge carefully and saw it had a Pentacle on it representing the five elements as well as the runes most frequently used and an old wooden staff in the center. He saw the screen starting to pull up revealing the stair case and took out his pamphlet. He blinked as he saw a room circled where he wanted, right in the middle of where the two sides of the building met. “Did they know the significance of that when they made this place? …It is highly likely…” he muttered as he raised a slightly clenched fist to his mouth in contemplation.

Teryl stopped reading and sighed. At least they aren't hiding anything from me. They seemed to not have too much information on him, which was something he would rather have. He wasn't an open book and didn't want anyone to know anything about him. He wasn't really here to make friends or share his problems, he was here for sanctuary from the Norms and trying to find a way back to either regular life on earth or evangelic life in the heavens. If he were to make friends or enemies, they would be one more thing he'd have to break away from when he finally leaves. Either way, he was finally ready to leave.
Teryl groaned as he stood up, "Well, this is where I'll leave you all. Maybe we can see each other another time. Sorry for the lack of greeting," he spoke, looking at Jules, "maybe we can catch up some other time. I bid you all farewell." He marched towards the elevator to head to his room. He waited for the doors to open and stepped inside, taking a blank look out to the crowd and heading up to the third floor. (Moved to Broken Chains Living Quarter (Floor3))

With each room he walked by, he didn't see anyone. This area seemed to be completely empty, devoid of any type of life or design fashion. As he continued to walk, he saw large holes within some of the room, letting in the cool, night breeze from outside. It was about daytime and the last of the chill was finally escaping the night. Inside the rooms and hanging from the ceiling lone, uncovered light bulbs were hanging, casting ominous shadows in every direction. This room didn't even seem to have been rebuilt from the past. The wood was eaten away, the cobblestone was cracked and missing in portions, the ceiling was barely keeping the conditions outside away. Everything just seemed...in poverty.
The more Teryl continued the walk, the more he didn't really seem to care. This was much better than the regular sleeping under bridges and the homeless shelters. At least here he didn't have to hide what he was and he did get shelter from the cold...for the most part it seemed. He continued to walk and look at the small numbers on the wall, "106...107...108..." he stopped when he saw his room and was amazed that he had a door, unlike all of these other rooms. He turned the knob, which stuck for a moment, but he gentle rammed his shoulder into it and forced it open.
Inside, he was amazed. A bed which seemed big enough for four people. It was large with black covers and sitting up on raising stilts. A dresser, loaded with shirts, pants, shorts and every other piece of clothing he couldn't wear due to his armor situation. A closet, filled with a miniature pantry, half fridge and some more hanging shirts. Shag carpet covered the floor and what amazed Teryl the most was a large collection of glass windows leading out to a large outdoor area. He opened the glass door towards the area and saw that the porch-like structure was made of a onyx black stone. It was gleaming with a finished polish and had a table and chair set crafted from hard steel.
He was amazed that such a terrible looking place was so well furnished. He walked back inside and saw something that took his breath away...a mini bar area. What he didn't see when first looking into the room was it extended a small bit towards his own personal lounge area. It had a small piano, a bar area with chairs to sit down at. Teryl, even when promoted into angel, was a large drinker. He was quick to rushing over to this newly discovered area and ran behind the bar to look at the wares.
There wasn't much alcohol, but the bar wasn't big either. Just some whiskey, vodka, lemons, mixes for the fruit drinks, jagurmeister, glasses, shot glasses, and a large bottle of Gin. For the first time in the longest time, the large angel felt at home. He wasn't fighting the homeless for scrapes, he wasn't running from mobs, he wasn't even relying on others to take care of him, he was finally safe at his own little slice of heaven. Teryl looked above to see a selection of beers chilling on a magic driven, iced beer casing. He took one off, snapped the top off and put it to the mouth slit on his helmet. He began to drink and sighed hard, walking towards the patio area and relaxing for the moment.

The first thing she pulled out was an ID badge, indicating HAWTHORN, DAISY on the top right. Right underneath that it said DEMON with an identification number right under that with more information she wasn't too concerned with looking at. The picture on the left was of of a red man with horns and crossed arms. His names turned into claws and his face was distorted with evil, the background holding red, leather-like wings as well as the flames of Hell. Daisy snorted, not all demons looking like that. She sighed and peered into more of the information, pulling out a single sheet. She looked it over a few times before she was certain of what it said, trying to sound the words out.

Daisy frowned, it was uncomfortable how much these people actually knew about her. If it were up to her, they wouldn't known any of that except for her name, the Daisy Hawthorn one. She sighed and shoved the paper back in the envelope before anyone had the idea to peer over her shoulder, not that it was unlikely. From the massive amount of time it took her to read it, they could have probably read it thirteen times. She sighed, hoping that it wasn't too obvious, maybe they just thought she was really intent on her readings?
"Well, I'm off to take a shower. My room's number 86 on the second floor if anyone feels like visiting. You're all welcomed." She told them, a friendly grin appearing on her face once more. She waved everyone goodbye and took the elevator to the second floor, looking for the number 89. It was pretty far down on the left but she didn't mind, it was nice here.
She turned the knob of her room and gasped when she opened it. The first thing she noticed was the bed, a large round one that had green comforters. She grinned and noticed that her room, was well, more lavish than the one she had had back in Hell. Another stiking thing was the walls, most of it made out of glass. The view was of the artisan acres with the graden and sun glared through her room, making her skin warm up. There were curtains hanging up on the wall for when she didn't want the outside view, she would be able to close it. Several empty pots littered the room as well as books about different plants and flowers. She grinned, she would eventually have to get to that once she improved her reading skills.
She sauntered over to the closet and was delighted to see that the school had provided her clothes, she tried to ignore how creepy it was that it was all in her size. She look to just the left of the dresser and saw a pair of doors, opening it. Inside was a bathroom, the walls once more made out of glass. The only difference was in here, the bottom half of it was frothy glass. There was a bath and shower as well as other bathroom essentials. She smiled and turned the shower on, smiling as the water came out hot right away. She stripped and got in her long awaited shower which was pleasantly already stocked with shampoos and soaps and a bunch of other things.
Now this was the life.
Jules left the room and walked out of the building. It surprised him to see the demonstration had stopped and a storm had begun. “Geeze, I didn't expect the buildings to be that soundproof.” -He'd heard nothing until he opened the main door. The storm was growing more and more intense. It was very hard to hear to his own voice. Luckily, his clothes were already quite worn out and dirty from the beginning, at-least his jacket and his biker pants. He'd travelled all the way from Chile up to this place and could seriously have needed a shower. Behind him, Ellias had stayed inside and was standing right within of the gate frame. Jules turned back and, again with closed eyes, smiled at her saying. “Don't tell me you've got a problem with rain? It's not like you're gonna melt.”
After that, he ran towards map of the premises. “Cafeteria... no. Artisan Acres... niet... ahh! There, Dead Man's Bar!” Jules ran back to Ellias and said slightly gasping. “ I... know the way. Let's just run there!”
When they reach the bar, they were both soaked wet. The bar looked like the illegitimate child of an Irish pub and a Texan biker's dinner. Jules and Ellias sat at a table with red leather seats and a picture of young Elvis Presley promoting one movie of his.

Gender: Male
Age: 19
Species: Human, Wizard
History: Ran away from home at ten currently living with Master Godwin, nothing else is known he has not spoken about it; no other records seem to exist as well.
Reason for Schooling: In case Godwin were to die he was to be sent here.
Threat:
Security:
Room: 20 first floor right in the middle of the buildings and the ground
Roommate: None
Misc: Has a great potential to be a grand wizard. We do not know what his security or threat is, his magic is growing rapidly, yet his control is can be a bit hectic. Need to keep an eye on him, for himself and the others around him. He seems to let his anger get the best of him that can be very bad. Has an odd marking of a symbol of power on the back of his left hand, unknown as to what that means apparently he was born with it.
Jinx read it and re-read it making sure he wasn’t mistaken. His hand trembled a bit, “how? How did they find out my full name! I never told that to Master Godwin…” he thought to himself more than a bit uneased. He shook his head and quickly stuffed it back into the envelope he couldn’t let the others see it… one thing gave him some comfort, that they did not know his past, but then he remembered that it said they needed to keep an eye on him. Though he knew it was for everyone’s’ safety he found it troubling that a stranger would be watching him, it even took him a while to get used to Master Godwin watching him. He heard Teryl leave and blinked, “how much time had passed?” he thought to himself as he heard Daisy. “Room 20 first floor on the grounds.” He told her with a grin, he looked at his own looks, “I need a shower and recharging, though if what I heard in the show was right, mana won’t be too hard to get… though that makes it a bit too easy, ah well for now I will use it. I prefer healing through resting.” He said as he picked up his staff. He didn’t know what he’d do afterwards, but he knew he needed to rest. Maybe he’d take a nap… after the day he had he doubt anyone would blame him.
He waved good bye to the others as he walked out the way he came and headed for his new living quarters. He saw the carved door and studied the markings. He expanded his senses slightly and felt a slight ward there. He frowned, “interesting…” he muttered, it was a ward he recognized soon after studying it a bit, it was identical to his Masters’ with a sorrowful grin he took a deep breath and placed his hand in front of him, close to touching the door, and sent forth a wisp of aura that twined around the five gleaming stones in order, the yellow gem of air first upper left, the red gem representing fire lower right was next, the deep blue gem of water was next in upper right, then came the green gem of earth on the lower left, then he closed it off making a five pointed star, but he did not stop there he controlled his aura to wrap around the star into a pentacle. It shone dimly for a moment as he felt the ward fade away and smiled.
He walked through the door and looked at the small desk seeing a silver key on it, “must be in case I don’t have energy to ward it… Always good to have a key.” he thought to himself as he gently laid his staff against the wall and looked around, the room was simple and had the basic needs. He knew later he’d probably fill it up with books. A rug was on the floor to keep it from being to cold, other than that he was too tired to take it in. He shook his head and went to the bathroom, it was stone and old looking, but everything seemed to work. He stripped and took a shower. He watched as the soot fell from his body and shivered as he felt the frustration grow inside him. He got out and got dressed as he walked out the bathroom a towel around his waist, his necklace still on and put on his clothes. He tried to keep the anger inside of him but enough was enough seeing the soot on them again brought it all back as he punched a nearby wall. “DAMN IT!” he cried out as he felt the pain shoot through his burned fist and arm. “…We helped them so many times… and they burned down where we lived and because of what? Because we are different? …Well so what! So are they…” he muttered. He felt tears slowly drip down his face to leave a wet mark on the stone ground. He remembered his riddle and his answer, “…I am not here to be a greater good… nor an unholy avenger… but that doesn’t mean I am not without dark or light…” he muttered as he threw on his white robe coat and grabbed his staff as he left his room and headed for the Mana Manipulator taking out the map of the school as he did so. He looked at the storm that fell down on him and frowned, “…please don't grow...” he muttered as he saw the forms of Julius and Ellias running around. He blinked wondering what they were doing.

Ellais grabbed her Marvel bag and unzipped it, she had a back pack tucked in there somewhere but she couldn't find it at the moment. So she just shoved her papers in there and slid her id in her pocket, she may need it. The witch decided she would read the papers that it came with later, probably at the bar. She pushed herself off of the back of the chair and followed after the man. She vaguely noticed that the angel had left awhile ago, a shame but she was sure that she would see him ago. She turned around and started to follow the man, she hoped she could trust him, but he seemed like a nice enough fellow.
Ellais's bag rolled behind her, the sound of the wheels spinning echoed down the hallway as she followed her classmate, she hoped he knew where he was going because Ellais certainly didn't. As he walked down and out the building, Ellais paused at the door frame, a frown on her face and her bandaged hand tightly gripping the handle of her bag. She was nervous to go outside for many reasons. First she couldn't help but remember the rules, especially the one about assassins. What if there was someone out there...she trembled a little scared. Plus the storm was so loud! The wind howled outside, and the rain pelted the ground with such ferocity. At least the storm had scared away the protesters, that was a small blessing. She just hoped it scared them all off.
Ellais could barely hear Jules over the sound of the storm, she could see his lips moving but the wind barely carried the sound of his voice. She strained her ears, leaning closer until she finally could hear him. “Don't tell me you've got a problem with rain? It's not like you're gonna melt.” Ellais frowned at the pun, she was a witch, but she didn't think she was that kind of witch. In fact she knew she wasn't that kind of witch, after all she took baths and showers, and had never melted. “No! I just don't like getting wet!” She yelled at him, but she kept the fact that she was worried about being attacked to herself.
When Ellais saw her classmate had started to run off she let out a sigh, she decided to wait for him, she just hoped he would come back for her. As she stood there waiting, she silently prayed, to whatever may be up there, that nothing would attack him. She didn't think her powers would do much good in the rain...
The fire witch let out a small sigh when she saw her coworker come back, a grin on her face. “Oh thank goodness. I take it you found it then Jules?” She asked before he nodded and told her that the should run for it. She let out a sigh before dashing off after him, shielding her eyes with one hand, the other pulling her bag behind her. She really hoped that he knew where he was going. But then she saw the building, the one labelled Dead Man's Bar and grinned. They found it! Huzzah!
Ellais stumbled into the bar, her torn shirt clinging to her small frame, showing off some of her curves. “I am glad to be out of that weather. It is horrid out there! She exclaimed, panting a little from the dash in the cold weather. The young woman let out a sigh as she felt her bandages squish as she unfurled her fingers. They were soaked...like she had thought they would be. She might as well take them off then. Ellais plopped down in a red leather seat before she unwound the white cloth off her hand. The skin underneath were a bright red, and terrible blisters had formed on the pads of her fingers and her palm. It looked painful, and it probably was.
She unzipped her bag and pulled out the papers, expecting them to be soaked but happy to find that her bag had protected them. One of the papers caught her attention. Mainly because it seemed to be about her.
Name: Ellais Angeline Robertson.
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Species: Human, Witch, specifically fire witch.
History: Was adopted by a young couple, found out to be a witch after she nearly burned one of her classmates at the age of fifteen. Has been moving around ever since, as well as homeschooled. Her anger can fuel how strong her magic is.
Reason for Schooling: Unknown
Threat: Level 6, can escalate higher if under emotional distress.
Security: Level 1
Room: Level three, Room 1408
Roommate: None currently
Misc: Seems to only attack when pushed to far. If she is truly angry her attacks can have devastating consequences. It is currently unknown who her true parents are, but it is being looked into.
Ellais looked at her paper and frowned, she almost looked terrified. She actually was terrified. “Hhow...how do they know so much about us...my parents tried to hide the incident about when I was discovered as secret as they could. I never told anyone about it...” She said softly as she the sheet down on the table. “I guess it doesn't really matter. We should be safe here...I hope.” She looked up at Jules with her big brown eyes, she found it odd that he wore glasses inside. He wasn't blind after all, but then again he probably had his reasons.
“So um...what do you want to drink Jules?” She asked softly, she wasn't used to being with the opposite gender. She would fiddle with her thumbs but that would hurt too much. Her burns were very fresh after all.

After a few minutes of silence, Jules started to calm down a bit. It had been weeks since he'd sat down outside of a train. It was a strange mixture of tranquility and sadness. He was very much aware that he might never have another chance to go on a trip like that. Heck! He might be killed during the next few days. His voice, he was well aware how pretty much anyone could take over the world by using him to record a few task-songs. He wasn't a fighter, nor was he a strong-willed enough to use his powers to protect himself. Jules mind was filled with so many different issues and he wasn't sure to to cope with it all. He wished he would’ve stayed in Chile, but he knew too well how irresponsible that would be. A ticking bomb waiting to destroy so much. He looked at a corner of their table, his face covered with remorse and hate for a few moments. “You know what? I think I'm gonna take a scotch instead, on the rocks.”
“Elly, -I can call you Elly right?- what's up with you? Why are you actually here? Did a radioactive spider bite you? Were your parents werewolves?” Suddenly, his face changed into a fiendish grin.
“Feel free not to answer, I understand if you don't feel comfortable enough for it.”[

She stared at Jules eyes, or rather his eye lids, a confused look over her face. It was obvious to her that he wasn't blind, after all he seemed to have found the place just fine...but then why did he wear such dark sunglasses, and why wouldn't he look at her. Ellais bit her lower lip, pondering if she should answer. As the minutes passed in awkward silence she started to think about her situation.
This was the first time the young girl had been seriously out of her house since, well since she fifteen years old. Sure she had gone out shopping with her parents and had gone to the park. But she had lived there all her life and now, now she was going to be living here. It was scary to say the least. But at the same time, it was exciting. She would be able to make new friends, and these ones wouldn't judge her for being what she was, at least she hoped they wouldn't. She would miss her home though, her parents and her life. It was sheltered yes, but comfortable. “Maybe I should get something stronger, fruity but stronger.” She muttered underneath her breath, it may not be the best idea for a fire witch but what the hell.
Ellais shook her head at the mans voice, it really was a beautiful voice. “Hmm? Um I suppose it is fine to call me Elly, I haven't had a nickname in a long time.” She pondered how to answer his next question though. Of why she came here. “I wish I was bitten by a radioactive spider...then I would be like Spider-Man. Or get cancer...but no. The reason I am here is to learn how to control my power...If I say a certain word...my hands catch fire...it hurts.” She says softly looking at her burned hands. “As for my parents, well the ones that raised me are normal, but I have no idea about my biological parents. For all I know they are werewolves...but seeing as I haven't turned into a werewolf underneath the full moon I doubt they are...What about you, what brings you here. And why don't you look people in the eyes?”

He resisted the urge to continue to drink the Mana past all he needed. He knew that could be dangerous. He shook his head and picked up his staff and licked the few drops of mana off of his lips, he whispered as a way of prayer, “I thank you for the Harvest of Mana.” He then walked out of the room and out of the library. He looked around the campus as the rain fell down on him wondering where he should go.

Jules wasn't really able to feel every feeling a person felt in a instant. You could say he rather felt whatever the other person was emotionally busy with. Keeping a person happy and entertained, therefore, was a good way to make some of their pain invisible for him. He would've liked to wait for Elly to order her drink, but since she wasn't ready to order anything, he called a waitress and ordered several different fruity shots and just as many Cuervos, silver, of course. “It must be really horrible to have such power, the ability to burn the life out of others would sounds horrifying. As for my actual “reason”... well, I'm able to sing, but it's more like using other people and myself to shape things according to whatever I sing. It's complicated.”

When the fruity shots arrived her face lit up, she loved fruity drinks and while she wasn't a heavy weight when it came to drinking, she wasn't a light weight either. “Mmm these look good.” She downed a shot, letting out a happy sigh of content. “And they taste as good as they look.” She picked up another shot before he made his comment about burning people alive. Ellais put the shot down on the table, looking at the purple liquid that floated inside. “I almost have...it was...horrible. They were screaming when their coat caught on fire soon after my own hands. They took off the coat as fast as the could. I don't know what happened too them aside from the fact that they were brought to the hospital and survived. I am sure they had marks over there arms from it...” She stopped speaking and downed her second shot. “So your voice can control people if you sing? That is, well it can be good and bad. You can sing about world peace and people might do it. But if you sing about murder it can go the same way...maybe the school can figure out how to filter out the effects through magic...” Ellais said softly before giving him a smile. “After all, aren't we here to learn how to control this?”

And welcome to the roleplay Abalyth, nice to meet you! (: I wasn't sure what part of the theater your character was in so I didn't include her but if she wants to join the conversation, she is more than welcome. ^^
And hello my pretties. (: How are all of you? I hope everything is going swimmingly in your life. :D And if it isn't, I hope the dramatics are at least interesting, they always turn out humorous in the end. :D
And hehehe. "She told him with a small nod, although she emphasized the point of when the storm was over, she would be damned if she were to go out in there." Get it, because she's already damned because she's a demon. >:D Oh my god, I'm just so punny today. ;)
