Locked in the dark.
Quiet, lonely. Alyssia remains as distant as possible until she can trust someon, she will not pry into anyone's life, as she cannot bare to talk about her own. She is very restraned, hiding almost all her emotions. Her elemental tribe, Dark, gives her a nasty streak when she loses her temper, if you really upset or hurt her, the boiling blood from her ancestors will surface, and the brutalty her tribe is known for will be unleashed- don't mess with her and you don't get messed with. She is also fierecly loyal, to those that hav earned her friendship and trust.
Despite where she comes from, Alyssia must have some hope, some kindness in her, because of her want for a better, a happy life. However, she does tend to mucj it up for herself, even if its not intentional. Very stubborn can be both a blessing and a curse, making others see your point or somehow managing to get them to follow you or understand, but she gets very embarrassed nad guilty when she's wrong.
The ring around her neck is her only beloved possession, she carried a knife, bow and arrows, and basic means to live.
She does have one friend however, shadows. Dark can manipulate shadows, but for some reason, whether it be a part of her power or some deeper, hidden meaning behind the mysterious shadows, they come to life around her. She can talk to them, having spent the years of her life she can remember trusting only them, learning their language. If she tries hard enough, she can bend her soul to be one with them, and can sometimes even gain their collected memories, flashback of what had occured there. This takes great concentration though, and can have dangerous consequences for her. Shadows while rescuing her from solitude in the short term, a parlty whys he is so
Alyssia was meant to live a life of blood, selfishness and the generel social life of a typical Dark elemental. Found at the age of ten, with no memory of her life before, in the centre of Dark village, they were ready to attack her and acuse others of spying. When it came apparant she was one of their own, the anger of treachary died down and they acknowledged her, if not fully accepting her. An ancient man who lived on the very edge of the village took her in and she stayed with him for six years, until death, that had been stalking his life for so long, finally came one night and claimed his soul. Just before he to left her on her own in the world, he took out a small scarf from his bedside table. Wrapped up within sea coloured silk was a very fine silver chain, with a ring hanging from it, the last words he said to her "A little part of your past, to take into your future." Too large to be a child or woman's, Alyssia concluded it could be her father's, or someone shew knew, someone who sued to look after her. She has been searching for anyone who might know her, care about her, for the past year. But with hardly any information, and the hostility between the tribes, she has found nothing. Now, the threat of war hangs in the air, and the shadows have been hinting for her to intervine in someway. What can she do, A girl that appeared out of thin air?
WIth not even her own tribe having recognised her, all she wants to do is find a place where she belongs, and if the only consistancy in her life is pointing her in the direction of trouble, that's where she must go...
