Assumptions
In one word, Brynn is lost in her life. Being at the brink of adulthood she is confused and daring, trying to find where she fits in the pack as well as in life. Not quite what you would call a rebel, but she has been pushing the limits lately that she would have left alone before, be it challenging wolves in the pack or picking up the habit of smoking, she wants to see how far she can push before someone pushes back.
Although Brynn is going through this "finding herself" stage, she is overall laid back for the most part. Most days you'll find her lounging around somewhere, never too far from Winni, to most Brynn is strangely protective of her "adopted sister", but Brynn never pays mind to it, she knows what could happen if she lets Winni alone, and although she hates leaving the girl in the the dark, she cares too much for her to leave her to the devices of this world as well as the one she has to keep secret. Brynn wishes more than anything she could be herself around Winni, but for the girl's own good Brynn has to hide what she considers the best part of her self from her closest friend, but what Winni guesses at.....well thats another story.
Lately her relationship with her mother has been a little rocky due to her need to push her boundaries and expand herself, and the biggest thing her mother frowns on is her new habit of smoking. Brynn is far from addicted to the stuff, frankly shes hardly sure that werewolves could become addicted to anything more than the moon and the hunt. Brynn has also begun to pester her mother about the need to keep the Shadow World a secret from Winni. Portia also suspects there is more going on with Brynn, and her feelings for her "sister" are more than what they should be. The same could be said with her relationship with her father.
When Brynn is with Winni, she is almost completely free! The two are just like best friends, and the fact that they are adopted sisters is just a bonus in the book. Brynn hates having to keep things a secret from Winni though, hoping more than anything enough hint could be dropped so she could stumble onto the revelation that there is more than meets the eye on her own.
Brynn is a rare thing, she was born a werewolf while most wolves are made, and on top of it, her parents are the Alpha's of the Seattle pack. Her life has always been different from other wolves though, she has an adopted sister named Winni Bellefleur who is a shadowhunter, but her sight had been taken, so Brynn had been raised under strict rules to never shift near Winni, and to keep who she is a secret.
The Alpha's had made life wonderful for their daughter though, regardless of the rules, and she grew up pretty much according to plan, well until she hit the age of 18 that is. Now that she is old enough, Brynn is pushing buttons she never has before to see what she can get away with and what she can't. Her parents are trying their best to prepare her for taking the alpha role, but Brynn isn't sure where she fits. She has the dominance and the angst necessary for the position, and being raised under the alphas, she isn't exactly one to be dominated. Considering how her parents are relitively young for their species, Brynn doesn't feel the urgency to step up, and she knows without a shadow of a doubt her mother will be the last to call her Alpha.
Brynn knows her mother loves her very much, as she loves her mother. She understands the Alpha Female will be her greatest mentor, and until recently Brynn and her mother had gotten along perfectly, but her mother felt the need to kick up her training as Brynn reached adulthood, and the young wolf had her mind on other things, but when the most unexpected takes place, will it drive the mother-daughter pair closer together? Or only farther apart? What if the feelings Brynn has for her adopted sister are more than just sisterly? What will her mother think of her then?
Can her mother see through the charade? If so.....will she understand?
Extras:
Brynn is bi-lingual and has never killed a person.
As a wolf, Brynn carries her midnight fur and clear blue eyes. This is Brynn's preferred fighting manner and will fight this way unless confronted in front of Winni. She is next in line to become alpha, but only if something happens to her parents, and being they both are in their prime, that is unlikely to happen. In wolf form, Brynn is only slightly smaller than her parents, and takes after both of her parents, she has her mothers shape and her father's demeanor, making her quite the adversary.
