Weylin Reese

"Oh Jesus tap-dancing Christ, put your vagina back in your pants. You're being a bigger girl than me!"

a character in “Unnatural Love”, as played by Rend

Description

Name:Weylin Reese
Quote: "Oh, I can't hurt anyone out of hate. However, I am not opposed to murdering them lovingly. ^w^ " "Oh Jesus tap-dancing Christ, put your vagina back in your pants. You're being a bigger girl than me!"
Age:17
Nickname:Butterfly, Prince, Wey, Lin-Lin, ect
Gender:Male
Sexual Orientation: Gayer than Christmas
Picture:Image
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 120lbs
Appearance:Weylin is small, petite, and fragile looking, much to the disdain of his father. His hair is the color of honey, hanging in uneven, stylishly ruffled in various lengths and his eyes are a startling jade. Considered adorable by most of his peers, Weylin has always been fawned over by the girls. He has a medium skin tone, and no marks on his body aside from a small tattoo that he got from a friend on his sixteenth birthday without his father knowing. It is tribal and located to the left of his right hipbone, low enough that it can be hidden with a standard pair of jeans. It is a cutesy pair of pale blue wings that are outlined in thick black with a small bright yellow crown above them and a black calligraphy W in the center.

His typical style is bright and cheerful clothing, things that make him happy. A good number of them he actually made himself. He is not opposed to wearing girl clothing either, often sporting girl jeans or shirts, even clips or braids in his hair. Despite his obvious femininity, he does look rather handsome when he dresses as a male, but finds the clothes to be too boring on their own.
Personality: Weylin is like a little ball of sunshine trapped in a small body. He is energetic and fun loving, always able to bring smiles to most people without just a cute little wave and a wink. His personality is infectious to put it mildly and he is very straight forward with most of his opinions. However, he does get a little shy around new people and adults unless he is in character. The blond is a little eccentric, and ADD, fluttering from topic to topic like a butterfly, a habit that gets worse when he is uncomfortable. When he is around people he trusts and considers his friends, he becomes snarky and playful, even a little clingy, particularly toward his female friends. He also has loads of fun flirting with his straight guy friends to make things awkward. He's a troll that way. Accepting of everyone and generally happy to help anyone in need, he doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his little body. That is until you tick him off.

When angry, he turns into a little demon monster and he will happily show that despite his small size, he is more than capable of taking out even the biggest of guys. He often feels terrible after fighting verbally or physically with anyone and can't bring himself to be angry at anyone for long. Almost. He is however, extremely timid when it comes to relationships, mostly because that aspect of his life hasn't ever gone very well for him. When he is away from his friends and school, he loses a bit of his happy nature and becomes quiet and a bit withdrawn, doing his best to fade into the background when around family.

History:(at least 1 paragraph) He was always special, even as a child, talented in memorizing and singing. He was praised by his mother for being adorable and he loved her so very dearly. And then one day, everything changed. His parents divorced unexpectedly. Weylin was too young to understand why and his sibling and father blamed him, saying that because he was such a little girl and not a boy that she hated him. He of course, started believing it after hearing that it was all his fault for years. It was also around then, not long after his tenth birthday that his older brother started sneaking into his room at night. His brother, who was seventeen at the time had been his hero. And from that night on, Weylin was absolutely terrified of him. Even now, after the young man had vanished six years ago, Weylin still has night terrors about him. He has told none of his friends and aside from a small diary, not a word of it has escaped him. His father constantly ridiculed and tormented him, occasionally beating him to make him more of a "man". But Weylin took all of it in stride until on the opening night of his first lead role in theater. His father had spat in his face and in a fit of violent rage, the small boy had slammed the large former military man against a wall by the throat and threatened to beat him within an inch of his life if he so much as looked at him again. Their relationship has been blissfully nonexistant since.

Devoted entirely to acting and becoming the greatest in drama that he can, now his life revolves around theater. Well... that and a certain teacher that he's been secretly adoring for years...
Perverted?: (Are they perverted?) Weylin can crack the jokes like the best of them but when it comes to actual perversion he turns into a blushing puddle of rainbow goop.

Iris quickly fiddled with her shirt as she stayed up in the front of class. The math teacher said to stay here until she was introduced, but how long was he planning to wait? She didn't like everyone staring at her. It made her feel as if they knew everything about her and were just not telling her. She didn't like this one bit.

Biting her lip, she willed herself to stay in place at the front of the room as the bell went off. She hoped he wouldn't leave her up there for the lesson. It was absurd to think about, but she feared it. She scanned the students and her eyes met a guy with bluish hair with a more feminine face. She smiled before looking to the next. By her was a adorable looking guy with blonde hair. He was very small. Looking at the next, her eyes met someone's venomous glare at her. Trying her best to smile, the girl only glared at her back. Her eyes quickly tore away from the girl as she stared at the back of the room. Oh god, what was she getting into?

Today was...different. He could feel it in his aching arm. He wasn't sure why but for some strange reason he had a feeling that everything was going to change and soon. Doctor Nova Erei hated change. Of course he quickly dismissed the notion that cosmic forces were shifting specifically to ruin his life further and continued sorting through the paperwork he was preparing for the girl standing near his desk. His good eye glanced over at her momentarily and he raised a single brow. She looked about ready to have a panic attack. That would at least make the day more interesting for him, he supposed. She was...pretty, but then they all were in some way or another and just like most of the others he fully expected her to completely waste his time. He stapled the small packet together with an almost OCD neatness before standing and moving to stand next the the new girl. He towered over her like he did many of the students and even teachers and with his trademark indifference he handed her the paperwork.

"This is mostly for my sake so that I know how far behind or, god forbid, ahead of us you are. Complete what you can of it by the end of the week and bring it to me so that I can catch you up to speed on what you don't know," His voice was deep and very to the point. It was apparent that he took his job and himself very seriously and with a forced, borderline sarcastic smile of sorts he addressed the class before them. "Good morning, everyone. Forgive the interruption of your daily of gossip and nap time, that includes you, Mister Reese and stop drawing bunny rabbits on your homework. I can only handle so much...cute before I feel like vomiting or punting small children."

"Mister Reese" as he was named looked up sheepishly from his fourth or fifth doodle on the previous night's assignment and an impish grin crossed his glossed lips.

"But, sir! I gave this one a Rambo bandana and a bazooka to make it more manly!" The little blond chimed matter of factly earning a sigh and an eye roll from the older man. The pale eyed youth smiled victoriously, resting his chin on his hand as he twirled a longer strand of hair with his free hand that he'd recently dyed pale pink. The scattered chuckles around the room were normal when it came to Weylin's antics. Nova gave up. The teen was smart enough to do well on his assignments and he actually had something of a brain in that silly little skull of his. If it meant suffering through Rambo Bunny illustrations for his equations, so be it. He returned his attention the the new girl and he could practically feel the discomfort pouring off of her. Ah well, he supposed that he should end her misery.

"We have a new victim joining us today. This is Iris Parker. I don't want to hear of any mistreatment or drama from any of you in my classroom or otherwise. She's new, deal with it,"He introduced with a stern warning that he very much doubted anyone would actually pay attention to. "Feel free to tell us a few things about yourself, Miss Parker, if you are so inclined. Otherwise, feel free to choose an open seat."

His eye met her's briefly and he gave her a slight nod of acknowledgment. He wouldn't write her off immediately as another waste of space. He'd give her a week. Then he'd write her off. He glanced about the room then, briefly meeting the somewhat creepy stare of a certain pale blond girl that in his opinion seemed to like watching him a little too closely. Ah yes, there was that smile again. He didn't even want to know what she was picturing this time. Or anytime. Now feeling more than a little uncomfortable himself, he returned to the relative safety of his desk.

Weylin however waved happily to the new girl, his eyes crinkling as the small male all but bounced in his seat for her attention. He motioned dramatically toward the free desk near him.

"This is mostly for my sake so that I know how far behind or, god forbid, ahead of us you are. Complete what you can of it by the end of the week and bring it to me so that I can catch you up to speed on what you don't know," Her teacher said as he handed her the paperwork, towering over her as he did so. His voice seemed very... Strict and she could tell right away that she probably wasn't going to like this class.

"Good morning, everyone. Forgive the interruption of your daily of gossip and nap time, that includes you, Mister Reese and stop drawing bunny rabbits on your homework. I can only handle so much...cute before I feel like vomiting or punting small children." He said as he turned to the class, giving a forced smile all the while.

"But, sir! I gave this one a Rambo bandana and a bazooka to make it more manly!"
"Mister Reese" Said which she almost laughed to but held it in. To her right, she heard the sigh of her teacher as he clearly disapproved.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the teacher glare back at her as she stiffened once more.
"We have a new victim joining us today. This is Iris Parker. I don't want to hear of any mistreatment or drama from any of you in my classroom or otherwise. She's new, deal with it, Feel free to tell us a few things about yourself, Miss Parker, if you are so inclined. Otherwise, feel free to choose an open seat." He said and then motioned to the seat by "Mister Resse" Suddenly, a girl rushed in from the hallway and gave her a sympathetic smile. She looked back to the teacher who met her eyes with his one eye and gave a slight nod at her.

"I think I'd rather not take time from your lesson, Sir." She said quickly as she took to the safety of her new seat while giving a smile to the guy who drew Rambo bunnies. She was very thankful to be in her seat and also very thankful that she didn't have to talk about herself.

Ash had watched the entire ordeal play out in front of her, feeling a bit bad for the girl. Surely she thought he must be some sociopath or something along those lines. But in Ash's opinion, Mr. Erei wasn't all that bad. Wasn't like he ever tortured her in any way. In fact, she didn't think he even acknowledged her except in roll call and collecting homework or grading something. But she supposed that was the way teachers were supposed to act toward students. No big loss for her really.

Ash looked over as she saw Weylin wave for the new girl, who was apparently Iris, to sit in the desk between them. Well, that could be nice. When Mr. Erei released the new girl and she sat in the seat that Weylin wanted her to sit in, Ash turned toward her and offered a small smile. "Hey. Name's Ash." She said, hating that her voice was still a bit higher than most guy's voices. She wondered if this girl thought she was a boy. She hoped she did. Otherwise she did all that work for nothing. Regardless, Ash held out her hand to shake Iris', hating that her body was still girlish.

Well... that was different, he thought as he watched the girl take a seat. Part of his was almost impressed. Almost. She was either incredibly shy or humble. Both of which he could deal with because it meant she would be reluctant to disrupt his class. Good. The older male stood, textbook cradled in one hand, glaring darkly at the class that still were whispering among themselves. He leaned against the front of his desk casually his free hand flipping the pages to today's lesson. Weylin did a little victory dance in his chair, clapping his hands together happily when Iris joined him and Ash. Passing a air high five at the masculine looking girl he winked playfully.

"If you ladies have something more important to attend to you are all more than welcome to continue it out of my classroom. If you are indeed planning on passing this class or at least making it through the day without detention I would keep the chatter to a minimum. He have work to do," He warned without bothering to raise his voice or change his relaxed posture. His eyes lingered briefly on Camaryn, then flitted to Monique before dismissing them altogether from his attention and addressing the class as a whole, " We will be reviewing today in preparation for moving onto the next lesson. This will also give Miss Parker and those of you who seem to magically forget everything on your homework a chance to catch up before the quiz that will be on Wednesday."

" During this review session you are permitted to write up a cheat sheet on an index card that Mr. Reese will so kindly pass out to you all. You may use the book, your notes, or even me to write your cheat sheet," He explained, motioning to the stack of cards on his desk. Pouting at the thought of having to move so early in the morning, the actor slogged up to his feet, smoothing out the wrinkles in his pale blue blouse that had obviously been meant for a girl. It was cute, with a rounded neckline and tight mid length sleeves, the garment flaring out around his hips in loose waves. Beneath it he wore a form fitting white muscle shirt along with a pair of long khaki shorts that had hello kitty embroidered on the pockets. His neon, multicolored heelies covered his feet, a cute, set of blue hello kitty hair clips pinning back the longer strands of his hair that weren't braided. In short he looked like a middle school girl. And he knew it. The teen grinned brightly at Nova who gave him a flat "I am not amused nor falling for your cuteness" look and shooed him off. Weylin stuck out his tongue at the doctor before skipping along the rows, passing out cards. When he stopped by Iris's desk, he dropped off a small scrap of paper with the card that read simply: "Come sit with me at lunch! If you want, that is~ WeyWey" along with hearts and other cute things. He didn't want the new girl to feel alone or isolated and because Weylin was happy to sit with anyone and tended to draw happy people, he figured that she would at least enjoy herself.

While the eccentric male went about his task, Nova fell into teaching, going over the basics of the lessons they had covered over the past two weeks. His voice was, despite the content, fairly easy and engaging to listen to. He was patient and was open to questions being asked without hand raising. He felt that such a thing was silly, after all. If you had something to say that pertained to the lesson, say it. If you had to use the restroom, go. In the end whatever the student put into the class, Nova would match and do his best to teach. If the student didn't try, that was on them, in his opinion. The lesson went fairly quickly, despite Nova's persistent headache and he opened the room up for questions.

"Well, that is about all that I have for you for now. Work on your cards and I would like you to complete page one hundred, twenty three in your texts for tomorrow. Anyone that has any questions or needs any assistance is welcome to see me after class," He stated finally, taking a seat behind his desk once again, " Miss Iris, I would appreciate it if you would see me as well. We need to assign you your books and get your computer log in set up so that you can access the online math engine. I'll let you go early today if there isn't anything else."

Weary, he leaned back in his chair absently rubbing his left hand. He had run out of his pain medication yesterday and hadn't been able to get a refill and his body was painfully reminding him of that fact.

Weylin turned about in his seat in excitement, happy to be finished with the class at last.

"Ash! Camy! You'll sit with me and Iris at lunch today right? Pleeaaaasssee~!" He pleaded, lacing his hands together and flitting his best puppy stare from one girl to the other.

When Iris had suggested they continue talking later, Ash laughed lightly and nodded. "Yeah, Mr. Erei isn't one to wait for us to stop talking." She pulled her hand back to her desk, getting her stuff ready for class as she absently listened to the normal banter in the class room, shaking her head. What good was it to talk trash on someone? Think that's going to change what they do? No, you're only sinking to their level. But, regardless, it wasn't really her problem. So, she wouldn't butt in. Besides, class was starting.

Ash listened to her teacher, absorbing what he had to say and writing the notes she needed. She was pretty good at math, or so her grades said. She hadn't failed anything in this class, so she should have the rights to say she was pretty decent. Regardless, before she knew it, the class was dismissed. Then Weylin started freaking talking about her and Camaryn going to lunch with him and Iris. Ash chuckled at the boy's excitement. "Uh, don't I sit with you every day? Why would today be any different?" Ash gathered her stuff and stood, waiting for the rest of them.

Iris listened intently throughout the whole class, jotting down some notes here and there. They went over this a week before she left so she was happy that they were on the same schedule. Suddenly, a note was slipped onto her desk. Picking it up, she smiled and nodded at Weylin. She was happy to not be alone for the first day. By the time the class ended, she was about to talk to them, but the teacher broke her train of thought.

" Miss Iris, I would appreciate it if you would see me as well. We need to assign you your books and get your computer log in set up so that you can access the online math engine. I'll let you go early today if there isn't anything else."

"Yes sir..." She said and smiled at Weylin as he talked to Ash and Camaryn about sitting together.
"I'll see you guys at lunch?" She asked with a hopeful smile.

Weylin ducked his head and swatted playfully at Camaryn when she ruffled his hair, the little blond giving her an impish grin which absolutely ruined his faked pout. When asked about the shirt he twirled about, giggling happily when the bottom of the tunic like shirt flared out wide.

"Ah, thank you! It was my mom's, I found in one of the boxes she left behind," He answered before shoving his hands inside of his pockets. At the response the girls gave him he stuck out his tongue childishly. And then in a dramatic, exagerated tone and a hand draped across his forehead," Well I am just asking! You never know when you guys will decide you don't like me anymore and run off some other gay boy who's prettier and more flamboyant~!"

His green eyes glanced up momentarily at the clock and a pretty blush rolled across his features. His eyes widened and he bit his lower lip out of nervous habit. His class was next. He pushed aside the fluttering in his chest and smiled brightly at Iris.

"Of course! Have fun~!" He looped his arms through Camy and Ash's and began tugging them toward the door, " Oh my gawd! I am going to be late!"

He of course, was no where near late, but Weylin liked to get to the auditorium as soon as he could. He claimed that it was because he hated being late but anyone close to him would have noticed by now that it was for an entirely different reason that revolved completely around a certain teacher. The little blond released his two friends, his hands gripping the strap on his hand sewn messenger bag. "Y-you don't think he'll be sick today, or that maybe he won't show, or perhaps the class will be cancelled or something? Do you?"

He was paranoid and nervous, like usual, babbling nonsensically the closer he came to the drama class. Not being able to see his favorite teacher at least once during the day was a depressing concept that had fear welling up in his guts. He pushed open the doors with a bit of trepidation and strode to his usual seat, trying to look confidant and casual as usual. His foot bounced out of habit and he held his bag in his lap, toying with one of the many cute badges he'd sewn to it.

Nova on the other hand hand fished up a textbook for the new student, placing it on his desk. He then pulled up his laptop, opening the main login page of the math site he utilized. His good eye flitted up to the redhead and he was unable to deny that she was attractive in a very young, untouchable way. He needed more sleep apparently because his brain was doing strange things to him today. Carefully, he flipped around the computer so that it was facing her.

"Here, pick out a username and password. It will let you login from home as well so please use it. It's fairly useful and will be used a good deal in my class," He explained, " Is there anything else that you need help with? I imagine that they haven't shown you around the school yet and I am free next period."

Ash chuckled at Weylin. He could be such a silly little duck sometimes. But what could she say, she loved the kid. He made the day bright and fun. "Nah, I don't think we could find a gay boy anywhere near how you are. And if we do, then the apocalypse is coming." She said with another laugh and continued walking with her friends to their next class. Theatre. The class taught by none other than Mr. Radley. Ash knew very well that Weylin had a huge gay crush on him. But she never really said anything about it. She just silently shook her head with a slight grin as he worried over the teacher. "Dude, chill out. Radley is there every other day. What would make today any different?" Ash rolled her eyes slightly and took her usual seat next to Weylin, leaning back and waiting for their teacher.

Speaking of the handsome devil, I walks Ethan Radley, kindly known as the high school's theatre teacher. He wore his usual fashionable outfit as he walked confidently into the classroom, dramatically stopping at the front of the room. With a flourish of his hand, tilting his head upward slightly, he spoke in a French accent. "I... have arrived." He dropped the act and chuckled slightly, his thumbs hooking into his pockets as he leaned against his desk. He looked around the room. Seemed they had a bit of time. His eyes rested on Weylin, his favorite student.

He knew he shouldn't have favorite students, but he couldn't help himself. Wey-Wey was just so adorable. There was no denying he was gay either. And he wore that with pride. Something Ethan respected. He found himself smiling warmly at Weylin and strode easily over to his desk, holding his hand up for a high-five. "Hey there Wey-Wey. How's the school year treating ya?" He asked casually, trying g to start some slight conversation before class started. Meanwhile, Ash pretended not to pay attention, but she listened very closely, holding back a laugh.

" Bye Camy~!" Weylin had called as the other girl left them and pouted cutely at Ash. An evil grin stole across his lips, eyes narrowing to slits as a chuckle left him. "Silly Ash, don't you know, the Apocalypse already happened and we are both in hell, destined to have our desires dangled before us forever~ Ohmygodherehecomes!"

The little blond yelped, sinking down into his chair and trying very hard to blend into the rest of the room. His eyes focused on the taller man as the object of his infatuation entered the room with dramatic flair. Weylin had always envied the other's ability to look masculine and sophisticated so effortlessly. The teen knew he'd never be able to pull of such an thing for he very much doubted that he would grow much taller and muscles were an impossibility for his slight frame. However, that certainly didn't mean he couldn't ogle Mr. Radley. His heart shot up to say hello to his tonsils when the older male rested his gaze upon him and he let out a soft squeak of sorts. Jade eyes blinked up shyly at the teacher through blond and pink bangs and Weylin just could not prevent the brilliant smile that graced his glossed lips and the pale blush that blossomed across his cheeks. And in order to hide his emotions he played it off as his typical excited self by meeting the others hand with his own, shooting a murderous glare at Ash. She was bound to be enjoying the show tremendously.

"Oh! Great! Though none of my other classes are as fun as this one," He replied, once again devoting all of his attention upon the handsome man before him. OHMYGAWDOHMYGAWD! Why is he talking to me!? Oh no, what if I make an ass of myself!? Wait, i always make an ass of myself! I'm dooomed! He's going to think I am a complete creeper or a dork gaaaaaah! His internal monologue was frantic, despite his relatively calm exterior and grasping for something to calm himself down, he fled to the one thing that always helped, " Do you know if we are performing anything fun this year?"

His gaze was hopeful and the teen all but wiggled in his seat as he thought of the possibilities.

Ash was watching out of the corner of her eye and coughed to cover up a laugh, her lips twitching from holding back a smile. She ones Weylin probably knew she was listening and watching, and probably hated it but she just couldn't help it. Knowing what use knew, it was adorable to watch. Ethan thought it was quite adorable as well. The way this boy looked so delicate, like he needed someone to protect him. Ethan had vowed long ago when he first met Weylin that he would do whatever he could as a teacher to protect this boy. Really, that only included bullying, but he would do it. The way the boy blushed and looked up at him... It sent a sort of pang into his heart. A student looking at him this way... and no one else would. He feared he was destined to be alone.

A look passed through his eyes that betrayed his emotions, showing the longing to hold someone and be their forever. But Ethan merely smiled at the young boy. It wasn't like he could be Weylin's forever, that was inappropriate. But he could he the best teacher for him. "Of course this class is your favorite. Everyone gets to pretend they're someone they aren't." Ethan said in a pleasant voice, chuckling slightly. When asked if they would do anything fun this year, he feigned shock and hurt, gasping and holding his hand to his heart. "Don't we always do something fun?" His eyes filled with pseudo tears. "Or have I failed as a teacher again?" He dramatically held the back of his hand to his forehead.

Weylin's eyes grew to the size of saucers when the older man fell to dramatics and half flailing, the small teen leaned forward in his chair. He knew the man was teasing for in fact Weylin pulled the same act on his friends daily and playing along mostly because he could not help himself, he slunk out of his seat in a fluid motion. With little regard for his own well being, he dropped to his knees and threw his arms about the taller male's leg with a cry of overdone anguish.

"No! You could never fail!" He replied, matching the professor's tone as his lithe fingers clung to the other's pants in what appeared to be desperation. The sorrow on that rounded face was heartbreakingly believable. That is until an impish grin that made him look like a little devil in disguise rolled across his lips. He flopped back onto the ground in a reclining position, legs bent to either side in an impressive display of flexibility for a boy, arms behind him supporting his upper body. Weylin tilted his head to the side coyly as he looked up at the teacher, his eyes crinkling in mirth, " You know better than that, silly."

The little blond hopped to his feet and brushed imaginary dirt and wrinkles from his shorts before smiling sweetly, his voice soft and genuine as he spoke," To be honest I would act in whatever play or sit through any class I had to if it meant having you as a teacher."

He averted his eyes, biting his lower lip and flushing pink for the millionth time in the past few minutes. Weylin slid back into his chair, glancing over at Ash. There was a pained longing in his expression that he couldn't quite hide behind the cheerful mask he put on for the world. He knew that he would never be able to tell the man his true feelings, knew that doing so would make things difficult and that more than likely, Weylin would be pushed away because of it. The green eyed wonder was a student, a child compared to the man before him and because of that, they could never be together. Not to mention that the guy was probably straight. No one that wonderful ever turned out to be for him.

Ethan laughed loudly, his head tilting back slightly, at the display Weylin put on. Afterwards he clapped his hands together as the boy stood. "Bravo, Weylin, bravo. You know, you remind me a lot of myself when I was younger." The grin the teacher had on his face was slightly crooked, and the look in his eyes beamed pride. This boy could truly act. He could make it farther than Ethan had. Weylin had a true chance in the acting career. And Ethan was helping him get there. He practically burst with joy at this discovery. When he heard the rest of what Weylin had to say, his expression softened and he looked at his students with gratitude. "Thank you, Weylin. It's very kind of you to say so."

Ethan went back behind his desk as the hell had rung and he needed to get his stuff together, and Ash turned to Weylin. "Hey, don't look so down. You're obviously his favorite. Do you ever see him talking to anyone else in this class?" She said, trying to get her friend to cheer up at least a little bit. She lightly punched his shoulder. "If you don't cheer up, I'll throw you to my crowd of guys. Wait, you might like that." Ash chuckled a bit, hoping to lift the mood with her jokes.

Weylin's blush deepened further at the applause from Ethan, and he watched with an almost detatched expression on his features was the older man strode toward his desk. Favorite or not ir wasn't what he yearned for. Being the man's favorite was all that the young man could ever be and a bittersweet sort of smile crossed his face before he flashed Ash a lecherous smirk. He waggled his eyebrows suggestively before stating," You know me too well."

Inside, despite his outward glee, the little blond despaired. At least Ash's crush was in the realm of possibility. She was a student, at least. Ethan was well out of Weylin's league, or so the insecure boy believed. Their ages weren't even that far apart to be honest. As was typical, Weylin pulled out a notebook and began to doodle. His pen moved of its own accord as he let his thoughts wander and drift, and before he knew it, the margin of his paper was covered in little doodles of a bunny with glasses and a tie holding hands with a bunny that was much shorter with a blouse that looked very much like the one that Weylin was wearing. He couldn't draw people, but he could draw cute chibi animals pretty well. The little blond blinked down at his last one, a half finished doodle of the bunnies kissing. Weylin dropped his pen, almost startled by his lack of attention and quickly tore the page from his notebook, his face heating and crumpled the page. He needed to get a grip on himself. This was getting ridiculous.

Nova had been watching the girl closely with his good eye. Her form seemed to tense almost as much as his did when she spoke of cars. His mouth became a solid line, flashes of lights, the blare of a horn sounding in his mind as Mel's panicked face once again tormented him. he could remember every single detail about that horrible night. It had been raining, storming and he remembered the crappy pina colada air freshener she'd gotten for the car, the dull chatter of the radio, all of it still so vivid. She had been so angry. She had died pissed off at him and it killed him knowing that he could never apologize to her. The red haired man shook himself from those bad thoughts, his normally harsh stare softening slightly as he focused upon the red haired teen. She too much have faced a bad experience with vehicles. He knew that look, even if she tried to hide it and did a valiant job of it.

"Miss Parker... If you ever need to talk... I, I am not good at dealing with people. However, I am good at listening," He said after a moment. Nova was confused. Why was he offering this girl so much? Had he ever done so for any other student? No. Never. This was the most he'd ever spoken to one directly in his entire teaching career, now that he thought about it. He was losing his mind. However... He had seen that look of sorrow in her guarded eyes and he could not help himself. He cleared his throat awkwardly, unable to look at her. They were close to her English class now and stiffly he handed her a slip that would excuse her for whatever time she had missed, " Right...well, I think that you should be fairly set for now. You know where to find me if you need anything. Have a good day Miss Parker."

True he hadn't shown her the rest of the building, but he had already caused her to be uncomfortable enough in his presence and he didn't want to go making things worse, or so he believed. The tall man turned and began heading back toward his classroom. He had nothing to do for a while aside from grading papers and deciding test questions.

Ash had chuckled lightly but didn't have any time to say anything else, because Ethan had started his class with a flourish and kept the crowd's attention. He made sure to make each lesson exciring and hands on so as to get more and more students every year. And every student who had him talked the class up to the new kids coming into high school, so every year he was sure to get fresh meat. This was why he loved his job. He touched the lives of so many children and got them to explore their creative side in a healthy way. That was his motivation, that's why he stayed as a teacher even if the pay wasn't great and he had to take up another job in the summer. This was his true calling.

As the bell sounded for the end of class, he stopped in front of Weylin's desk. "Hey, could I talk to you real quick? I'll wrote you a pass to your next class unless there's something important...?" Ethan had a few questions he needed to ask Weylin, but he didn't want to pull him out of anything important. Ash waggled her eyebrows at Wry, winked, and made her way to her next class laughing.

Weylin had watched Ethan as he always had; enraptured. Throughout the lesson, his eyes barely strayed from the older male. He wasn't particularly fixed on the words, despite the interest he had in the subject matter. The teacher was just so...distracting. Class passed by quickly and the small blond was in the middle of sliding his note back into his bag when he glanced up to the sound of Ethan's voice. Large, curious eyes blinked up at the older male, a twinge of worry rolling inside of his gut. Was he in trouble? Was he obvious enough in his infatuation that the man noticed? Was he going to be taken out of class? Was he no longer the favorite!? Ethan hated him! Oh no!

His panicked gaze flitted to Ash as the short haired female left him stranded helplessly, his throat running dry as he licked his lips nervously. Weylin looked back at Ethan, tucking a stray braid behind his ear shyly and worrying at the strap on his bag to give his hands something to do.

"O-of course? Is there something wrong, sir?" The green eyes teen was having a hard time not fleeing, wishing that Ash had hung around for him. Without his friends or the mask of a character he was exposed and vunerable, especially to Ethan and his insecurity was knawing on his insides. Pink covered his sun kissed face and there was no hiding it from the taller man in the empty classroom. Despite his anxiety, warmth rolled through his face and ears. He was alone with Mr. Radly. It took a lot of effort to stay still and not fidget.

Ethan watched the show of emotions roll across the younger teen's face, and he felt a bit guilt. His eyes softened toward Weylin a bit and he placed a flaming hand on his shoulder. "Hey, calm down," he said in a soothing and soft voice. "No one is in trouble here. C'mon, let's go to my desk, eh? I plan on making this conversation last a bit." He smiled reassuringly and took his hand off Weylin's shoulder, then walked to his desk and sat in his chair. He crossed his legs and looked Weylin in the eyes. "First and foremost; what is it you plan on going to college for? What is it you want to major in?" Ethan hoped dearly that it would be theatre, acting. Weylin had a real chance to make it, and Ethan knew that. He saw the potential and the talent just blossoming in this child. What else he saw, well, that he'd have to keep to himself.

He saw a young boy, obviously gay like himself, with an apparent infatuation with him. Now, Ethan didn't know if this was simply a role model infatuation or like you would view a protector, or if he wished to persue something with Ethan. But Ethan knew how he felt. He felt protective over this young boy, possessive even. Only slightly so, but still. There had been plenty of time where his imagination had wandered to romantic scenes, and his partner had turned out to be Weylin. Of course, whenever he realized this he banished such thoughts. But they kept coming back. And each time became more frequent and the scene more elaborate. But Ethan knew that if he actually tried any of this he would lose his job, get arrested, and have nothing. So he settled for seeing him in class. But knowing he would soon graduate... it filled Ethan with sadness. Some of that sadness seeped into his eyes now.

Meanwhile, Cole was in his classroom, waiting for class to begin and have everyone in their seats. He knew he'd be waiting a bit for them to calm down, but hey, they were young! Let them socialize with everyone!
