A merciless soldier who cares little for the pleas of his foe,and risks life and limb for his comrades.
Personality:Baellys is a tact,no questions asked killer when out on a mission, more akin to mercenary mindset than one of the SOOC,dispatching any who get in the way of his mission without so much as a wince. He has a deep sense of loyalty to his squad mates and has been known to throw himself in front of the proverbial "bullet" to ensure their safety.
Baellys always preferred mission that required stealth and precision, but he was also well known to throw himself in harm's way should an ally be in danger.
With this in mind he commissioned a lightweight body armor made specifically for him. As such the armor fits him so perfectly that he hardly feels any encumbrance while in it.
This suit itself has an active HUD,and is equipped with motion detection and night vision,as well as COM systems and internal cooling systems. A cybernetic implant to his cerebral cortex allows him to access the suit as if it is part of his own flesh.
He carries a short, thin blade forged of Ultra-high carbon steel for when true stealth or close-quarters combat is required. As wells as an upgrade version of the Colt .45 as his side arm.
His main weapon is a Prototype known as the P-AS 15,the gun itself is a hybrid weapon, with stock laser sighting mounted above the barrels. Below the laser is the primary barrel that functions as a mid-range assault rifle firing 5.7x28mm rounds.
Below the primary barrel is a larger barrel that completes the hybrid weapon, which fires 12 gauge shells.
He carries a silencer for the assault barrel, and various ammunition types for both.
Reason for being captured: Ambush,he curses himself for not being vigilant and being unable to save his fallen squad mates.
World of Origin: Karnae
History:
Baellys was born to an impoverished family that lived in a slum of sorts on Karnae. His mother was hopeless and was never home much, and when she was she treated him like an insolent pet at best, but his father tried to be the best parent he could to Baellys. His father had once been a guard to an important offworlder, pledging his life to protect the man.(Baellys doesn't know the particulars.) For reasons unknown to Baellys, his father failed, which led to their impoverished, dishonored state.
Honor was everything to his father, and by the time Baellys was 6,his father was already teaching him to fight and to be an honorable combatant.
Shortly thereafter Baellys was sent to school and was constantly getting into trouble with the other students because he tried to set himself apart from them and adhere to the codes his father was indoctrinating within him. Finally one of the other children struck him,all that is known by anyone else is that by the time one of the teachers arrived and dragged Baellys off of his attacker the child was barely recognizable.
His father was stunned at this cold display of ferocity, when he asked Baellys about the incident the only thing he said was,"You told me to ignore them unless they hit me,I only made it so he couldn't hit anyone again."
After another similar incident,Baellys was expelled from the school, and not knowing what else to do,his father sent him to a military school, hoping that it would better channel the aggression he saw building up in his child.
The school did quell the chaotic side of his ferocity, molding and tempering him into a cold, disciplined machine. He outperformed his peers in any exercise that had to deal with combat and stealth.
After graduating he was recruited into Karnae's equivalent of the Marines. After his first mission he was awarded a purple heart for dragging his wounded commander 3 miles through hostile terrain while suffering a bullet wound to his left leg.
During the next 5 years he never participated in a mission he failed to achieve,he won a few more awards for saving his allies, despite being injured, evening being known to run into rooms under fire to drag an ally out. It became a running joke among his peers that they didn't know whether to call him evil for his cold, brutal efficiency,or hail him as a good man for having saved damn near all of them.
Shortly after being promoted to Corporal he was transferred to the SOOC,thinking that he would be one of the perfect men for a job like theirs,he was less than thrilled about the transfer, but did as he was told.
As luck would have it,the first mission he was on with his new squad was the one leaving him in his current,POW predicament. Not a good start he would say,but there's still room for improvement and vengeance for his new comrades.
