Untouched Islands

Untouched Islands

0 INK

A group of explorers have crossed the Great Ocean. Their mission is to discover a new land, and they have succeeded. Now, they must study what they've found: a land full of new plants, animals, magic, and even beings, who may not want them there at all.

1,226 readers have visited Untouched Islands since Alexander Hamilton created it.

Introduction

Untouched Islands

Image
For generations, the people of Lorland stared across the Great Ocean, wondering if there was anything beyond the great body of water. Finally, with advances in technology, a ship has been created that can handle the journey. The Ruby Conch, loaded with explorers and scientists, set off to make the unknown known.
After months of hellish travels, almost ready to turn back, slivers of land appeared in the distance. The Eldalea archipelago.
Now, the explorers must study these islands, for science, adventure, glory, and riches.

The Explorers
  • The official mission of the explorers is to find describe what they find and bring interesting specimens back.
  • The explorers have set off on a state-of-the-art ship called The Ruby Conch, which they have endured for months.
  • They possess steampunk level technology, including simple guns and explosives.
  • They have alchemical based magic. That is, the magic they used is tried to specific items and chemical processes. No throwing lightning bolts or fireballs.
  • Members of the team have been selected specifically to serve some function on this mission. Engineers, scientists, soldiers, hunters, sailors, doctors, laborers, etc.

The Islands
  • There are multiple islands, with the largest and most central being Eldalea.
  • The island is covered mostly with lush tropical jungle.
  • They’re isolated. The explorers are the first visitors in a long time.
  • Those living there live a simple life, close to the earth. Many beings live almost like wild animals. Others reside in modest villages.
  • They have no advanced technology.
  • They speak the same language as the Lorlander explorers, much the the explorers' surprise and confusion.

News and Updates
I have added a news and updates section!
A wild plot point appeared in The Islands section. Islanders speak the same language as the explorers do. This is to be treated as a surprising and unusual fact in the roleplay.
Added a note to the section on Fae on height. (Fairies and pixies are about six inches tall)

Lorland Explorer Races

For Lorland races, some have been given more description than others. Where no description is given, it's safe to assume the culture and behavior is not far off from the human norm.

Humanoids
Humans and their near relatives. Humanoids differ significantly only in their size and proportions.

Humans
Giants
Average 9 feet tall. Have a life expectancy 15 years shorter than humans.
Dwarves
Resemble short, stocky humans, being about 4 feet tall; live about 20 years longer than humans.
Halflings
About three feet tall, maintaining proportions similar to that of a human. Live 20 years longer than humans on average.

Goblinoids
Goblinoids have exaggerated features, a hunched posture, large hands, long noses, pointed ears, and widely varied skin colors. By human standard, they can be considered quite ugly. The main difference between different goblinoids is height.

Goblins
Goblins stand about 3 feet tall with a scrawny build.
Trolls
About human sized.
Ogres
Ogres have an average height of 10 feet and are extremely brawny and thick.

Elves
Generally slighter and and shorter than humans. Very long, pointed ears, which they can move freely. There is no white to their eyes, with the colored area of the iris covering everything but the pupil. Elves mature at the same rate as humans, but once reaching about 15, aging slows and they live up to about 200 years. An elf appears to be about 20 at the age of 30, 25 at 45, 30 at age 60, 40 at 90, and 50 at 120.

In order to calculate exactly how old your elf looks and their actual age, use these formulas. note
(3 x Apparent Age) - 30 = Actual Age
(Actual Age ÷ 3) + 10 = Apparent Age

Elves prize their long lifespan above all things. Because of it, they tend to look down on other races who can’t spend a hundred mastering a subject. However, they also have an extremely low birth rate. In elf culture, skills that are considered challenging to master are considered superior to less technical ones. An elf scholar is respected; an elf servant or laborer is defying cultural norms and will be looked down upon.

Light and dark elves have warred in the past. The light elves considered themselves the first true and original elves, while the dark elves believed otherwise. The dark elves suffered the brunt of the damage. Nowadays, there is still tension between them, but their is no overt conflict.

Light Elves
Hair, eye, and skin colors can be any ones a human might have, in adition to violet eyes and silver hair.
Dark Elves
Skin and hair are shades of black, gray, blue, or indigo, though never bright or saturated. Pure white, or white with a bluish tinge is also possible Hair is usually lighter than the skin, but not always. Eyes may be red, magenta, black, yellow, orange, gray, white or blue.

Tritons
Tritons resemble a human mixed with sea-life. They may be covered in scales or smooth, dolphin-like skin. Instead of hair, they may have tentacles, fins, long scales, scaled appendages which resemble hair. Their coloring is highly variable, an doesn’t resemble that of a human. They may have finned ears, or no external ear. Some look more human, others less so. When a Triton enters the water, their legs are replaced with the lower body of a fish, squid, octopus, eel, krait, etc.

Tritons which live around Lorland are almost their own empire, known for majestic underwater cities and influence on the high seas, as fishermen and merchants.

Golems
Golems can come in an infinite variety of shapes and sizes, depending on how they are constructed. At a minimum, they need jointed appendages to move and manipulated objects and points designated as eyes The plainest possible golem might be a hunk of wood with with very simple legs and arms and a pair of buttons for eyes. At the other end of the spectrum, there are elaborate golems designed to imitate life which resemble porcelain dolls, which can be mistaken for humans if there is no closer inspection. Most golems fall between these extremes, resembling something like a suit of armor. They may be made from metal, wood, glass, stone, clay, leather, etc. Their shape is determined by their purpose. Golems designed for heavy labor will be large and made of sturdy material. Golems designed ot interact with people may be doll types. Golems designed to handle delicate materials may be small with many narrow and precise limbs. Golems designed to impress may be designed out of expensive materials with elaborate designs, making them living works or art.

Golems are made through alchemy and engineering, primarily by humanoids. They are sentient, but lack a need for food or water. They have no sense of smell or taste. Golems are enslaved to their masters, and it takes a significant force of will to disobey them. Only recently have measures been taken to prevent the abuse of golems. Owners can free their golems, and in some areas a golem is automatically freed after completing enough work for their owner that match or exceeds their total value.

Most assume that a golem is a servant until told otherwise. Many barely acknowledge their sentience. They are the most oppressed people in Lorland.

Hybrids
Humanoids, Elves, and Goblinoids are all related enough to produce hybrids. Hybrids are most common in cities. In more neural and isolated areas, they’re a novelty.

Humanoid Hybrids: Mixes between humans, halflings, giants, and dwarves.
Goblinoid Hybrids: Very common, to the point where the difference between Goblin, Troll, and Ogre in some areas is more of a sliding scale than a division between subraces.
Elf Hybrids: Rare. Light and Dark elves don’t get along, and Dark elves aren’t very common in Lorland to begin with. A Light/Dark hybrid would face prejudice in both communities.

Humanoid/Goblinoid: With their large populations and frequent contact, these hybrids are relatively common.
Humanoid/Elf: With the low birth rate of pure elves, in urban areas it is not uncommon for Humanoid/Elf hybrids to outnumber pure light elves. Human/Light Elf and Halfling/Light Elf hybrids are the most common Humanoid/Elf hybrids. Dark Elf/Humanoid hybrids are rarer.
Elf/Goblinoid: Dark elves get along with Goblinoids, and may intermarry with them. Light elves rarely will.

Islander Races

Fae
All Fae are born from a fairy, who develops a fairy seed in their body and plants it in the ground. If all goes well, a fairy flower will grow from the plant with a fully grown fairy in the blossom. If the conditions are not ideal, a pixie will be born instead. And, if something goes terrible wrong, a wendigo will emerge.

Fairies
Fairies resemble tiny, winged elves, combined with a flower, butterfly, hummingbird, or bee. They average about six inches tall. Fairies with an animal influence will possess the wings of that animal. Flower fairies have butterfly-like wings which resemble that of their flower. Their bodies will also show signs of their influence, such as having petal shaped ears for flower fairies, feathery ‘hair’ for hummingbird fairies, antenna for bee fairies, or butterfly wing patterns on the skin for butterfly fairies. All is highly variable. Their skin often has unusual colors that reflect their influence.

They grow their own ‘clothing’ which may consist of a touch, exoskeleton-like material. A flower fairy will grown petals, a butterfly fairy will grow what seems to be parts of butterfly wing, a hummingbird fairy will be clad in feathers, and so on. After a time, they peel off this ‘clothing’ and regrow it. They can use this material to also give themselves sharp, bladed claws to defend themselves.

Fairies can transform into a human size, though not indefinitely, and they can't fly in this state. They can also transform into the animal they are influenced by. Flower fairies can turn into a butterfly with wings resembling petals of their flower, or the actual flower itself. Their lifespan is about 100 years, and fairies do not show physical signs of aging. Fairies do not need to eat to survive, but must do so in order to produce a seed or to heal more quickly (nectar is a favorite treat). They're hard to kill, and when severely injured, they can rest for days, weeks, or even months, slowly recovering. As magical beings, they have a moderate sixth-sense, able to sense nearby beings, especial magical ones.

Fairies are at the top of the fae hierarchy, and are the most common of the bunch. Because they have so little to fear from outside sources, fearing neither starvation nor predator, they tend to make their own troubles, engaging in petty displays of drama and hierarchical reinforcement with one another. They may gather in gangs and fight one another. Others live more independently. and one of their favorite hobbies is bullying pixies.

Pixies
Pixies are superficially similar to fairies (read the fairy description for more details). However, they are instead influenced by insects and arachnids that are not butterflies or bees. They may or may not have wings, depending on their bug of influence. Pixies lack the enhanced magic spark that fairies do, so are much less sturdy. They need to eat to survive, cannot produce seeds, and show physical signs of aging. Pixies can only spend about eight hours maximum in a human-sized form without needing a break, and lack a sixth sense.

Pixies are less common than fairies, but aren't rare either. They are often the victims of fairy bullying. Because they are more vulnerable than fairies, pixies tend to stick together and live more peacefully.

Wendigo
Wendigos are mutations, so each one is unique. They are all essentially enormous, hideous bug monsters. Sometimes there will be aspects that can be recognized as fairy-like, such as a fairy upper body with a bug lower-body, or a bug based body in a vaguely humanoid shape, but other times there are no such features at all. Wendigos usually have a mind as mutated as their bodies. Some behave like rabid animals, others conniving sociopaths. They are one of the only creatures that regularly attempt to kill and eat fairies and pixies. Not all wendigos have this evil disposition. Still, mental issues are common among them.

Most wendigos view fairies and pixies as things to be tortured, killed, and/or eaten. Naturally, other fae view them as the enemy and will attempt to kill any wendigo they find.

Nature Spirits
Nature spirits loosely resemble a person or animal mixed with an aspect of nature. A plant spirit, for example, might have green skin with leaves protruding from their ears and vines taking the place of their hair. If a nature spirit has an animal based body, they will it will be no larger than a tiger and no smaller than a domestic cat. Many have an unearthly glow.

Spirits Nature spirits are formed spontaneously formed, fully grown. In order to survive, they must cover themselves in their natural element and sleep every nightor morning for nocturnal ones). They can survive without doing this for about as long as a human without food. For example, an earth spirit might bury themselves in soil and a water spirit would submerge themselves in water. Some spirits can be very general in their natural element, like an earth or water spirit. Others are more specific, such as tree spirits, stone spirits, sand spirits, seawater spirits, mud spirits, etc. The more specific the spirit, the rarer it is, as there is less of their natural element to go around.

Nature spirits can melt into their natural element to disappear or rest. They also have powers related to their element: they can make nature more fruitful. For example, earth and plant spirits might promote the growth of plants, while a water spirit could keep water pure and rivers teaming with fish. Tritons, beastlings, and jormungand sometimes leave offerings to spirits because of this.

Beastlings
Beastlings resemble a human mixed with a reptile, amphibian, mammal, or bird. Generally they are more human looking than animal, possessing animal traits such as ears, tails, horns, patches of feathers, markings, animal eyes, etc. while maintaining their overall human based anatomy. However, a Beastling can shift between this state and an animal form, including all the forms in between. Between their human-like and full animal forms, their shape somewhat resembles that of a humanoid animal. Bird beastlings are incapable of flying in their half-beast form.

Beastlings live a half civilized, half animal existence. They spend some of their time in their animal form in the wild, and some in their normal form in small villages. Their settlements have a very loose organization, if any at all.

Jormungand
Jormungand resemble a humanoid dragon from head to waist, with their lower body being that of a long, finned serpent. They can be as small as a normal sized human, but they can be nine feet tall (not counting the tail trailing out behind them). Jormungand move like a snake might out of water, though they prefer the water, where they are much faster. Jormungand are the most highly civilized of all the island races, living in a highly organized society in settlements around the islands. Each settlement answers to a chief. They are aggressive in defending what they regard as their territory from potential rivals. Because of this, Tritons have been mostly driven from living the water.

Tritons which live on the islands not as prosperous or influential as their Lorland brethren. The jorumundgand drove them from the underwater locations. Thus, most live on on land near the seaside, instead of making a life for themselves underwater full-time. Their lifestyle is less primitive than that of the beastlings, but moreso than that of the jormungand. Eldalean tritons tend to be more colorful and tropical in appearance than Lorland triton.

Toggle Rules

General Rules
  • Use 3rd person, past tense.
  • Use correct spelling and grammar. Typos and spelling errors happen to everyone, but frequent mistakes are a no-no.
  • Write meaningful posts. There is no minimum post length requirement. However, every post your make should move the roleplay forward in some way. I’d rather read a post that consists of, “Susana aimed a fist at Tom’s face,” than a post consisting of 1,000 words of internal monologue. By the same token, do make an effort to describe details.
  • No powerplaying. Do not take advantage of the fact that others cannot godmode to constantly one-up other characters, especially when it defies plausibility.
  • No godmoding. You cannot control another character’s reactions or actions. If you attack another character, the other player will determine whether their character falls prey to the attack.
  • No killing or permanently maiming others’ characters without permission. If your character seems to be in a position that guarantees death, and you don’t want your character to die, we can engineer a way out in the OOC thread.
  • Keep characters together as much as possible. I will attempt to make this RP entertaining for everyone, but that’s will be hard if many characters are off on their own.
  • Be proactive and utilize the OOC thread. Don’t be afraid to pitch ideas. That’s what the OOC thread is for.
  • Try to post at least every 3-4 days.
  • Post in the OOC thread if you have to leave the RP temporarily or permanently.
  • Don’t leave other players behind. You can RP as much as you want as long as the other characters around you have a player who is online and posting. However, if you’re in a scene and half the players are driving the story forward in leaps and bounds while the other half haven’t posted yet, that’s not okay. If it’s been 5 days with no posts from a player you’re waiting for, feel free to move on without them.

Submitting a Character
  • Check and see if there are free slots on the character list. Also check OOC thread and see if anyone has recently reserved a slot.
  • Consider what characters have already been accepted. If four islanders are fairies, three Explorers are shy scientists, or half of all the character’s are bitter loners, try to make something a different.
  • Post in the OOC, stating that you want to reserve an Islander or Explorer slot, and which number you’re reserving. In this post, write a brief description of the character you will be submitting. Nothing elaborate is necessary. “A hyperactive 15-year-old Triton girl,” or “A pretentious male light elf engineer,” is fine. If there’s something fundamentally wrong with your character concept, I can catch it here. You don’t have to have decided on everything yet.
  • After posting for a reservation, you can submit your character without waiting for an acknowledgement from me.
  • Your slot will be reserved for 48 hours. You can still submit after that time period, but there’s the possibility someone may take the slot.
  • Submit your character. I will either accept them or send you a PM telling you what you need to revise.

How to Make a Character that Will be Accepted
  • Use proper spelling and grammar.
  • Provide relevant detail.
  • Demonstrate that you read the information.
  • Plant potential for growth or conflict within your character’s personality. Interesting scenarios should come to mind when I look at your character’s profile. Goals and problems.
  • Don’t create a master engineer/alchemist/biologist/soldier/geologist/sailor. Leave roles for others to fulfill.

Character Profile Explanation

Name:
For races that are born and raised the old fashioned way, a last name and first name is normal, and sometimes one or more middle names. Fae, Nature Spirits, and Golems usually have only one name, though some golems take the last name of their masters’ or adopt a last name to fit in.
Explorer or Islander: Self-explanatory. Delete that which doesn't apply.
Race: For beastlings, fairies, pixies, nature spirits and tritons, write their race as “Animal/Element Race” For Tritons just consider what kind of tail they have in the water. [Buttercup Fairy, Dragonfly Pixie, Otter Beastling, Squid Triton, Water Spirit, etc.]
Sex: ♀ Female | ♂ Male | ♀~♂ Genderqueer | etc. Delete that which doesn't apply.
Age: Be somewhat realistic. Master warrior or scientist 11-year-olds are not allowed. However, young characters are allowed if you can come up with a plausible reason for bringing them. For example, a younger character might come working as an apprentice and/or assistant to a more experienced and older team member.
Job: Important for explorers, less so for islanders. If your islander has no specific job, delete this.
Appearance: A description is required even if you do have an image. If you have an image, please add a link to credit the original artist.
Personality: Don’t just list traits here. Avoid giving a character traits that barely form a personality at all, i.e. “She’s shy, but talkative once you get to know her. She’s kind, but will be cruel to you if you hurt her friends.”
Background: For Explorers, explain why this character went on such a dangerous journey and what they hope to accomplish. What are their goals? Focus on events in the character’s life which are significant to who they are
Writing Sample: Write a 150-250 words that consists of a short scene involving your character. This shows that you know how to write. It's also a part of the character profile itself. This short moment should tell us what sort of character we can expect to see in the game.

Kayla walked slightly deeper into the forest, scared of nothing. “What’s perfect?” She nearly jumped out of her skin and fell over. She looked up seeing a man, well it had the shape of a man at least. "Furs?" she thought to herself then she saw the fur move with him too perfectly and it dawned on her, his skin.

The man had a tail and a pair of perked up ears and it dawned on her. "It's a cat." she thought. But then again she thought of cats as the small felines that would come to her gardens in search of some food. But they were only a foot long and didn't carry knives.

She pulled the flower out of her hair and showed it to the man, or cat, or whatever it was. "This flower is a perfect specimen." she opened her book up and showed him all of her observations and the feel, smell, and appearance of it. "I am a botanist and a zoologist." she put the book back. "My name is Kayla, and you are um, I don't mean to offend you but what are you exactly?" she asked nervously.

She realized that she could die right here if she acted the slightest bit in the wrong way. The, beast let's call it was clearly armed and was somewhat aggressive already. Cats were known for being territorial, especially males. The hybrid's mind raced as she thought of a plan to get her out incase the beast got offended.

That boy was so infuriating! But Erin willed herself to not say anything, preferring to get him out of her sight for as long as possible. But it then meant she would have to wait longer to clean her hands. Stuff it, she thought, I'm not waiting for him. So marching out of her tent she made her way to the waters edge to wash her bloody hands. She knelt down, trying to get the least amount of water on her. Unfortunately she couldn't stop the water from lapping onto her shoes. Ignoring it she proceeding to washing her hands, it stung a bit but otherwise was nothing.

Once she was finished she retreated to the shade of her tent, only to be halted in her tracks by something loud and very strangely accented coming from the trees. The large woman stopped and listened to the yelling, her injured hands forgot, watery bloody dripping to the sand. Her face was screwed up into confusion and absolute bewilderment. What the hell was that? Were there other people on this Island? And what was it talking about boar-woman? That was just a pig on the spit. It wasn't difficult to tell where the sound was coming from and considering she had nothing better to do - alright, her hands needed attention - she wanted to investigate.

Moving swiftly in the direction of the voice she reached the edge of the tree and looked up. She couldn't see anything straight away but that didn't mean that there was nothing up there. The thing wanted safety, well, she couldn't exactly promise that but it didn't need to know.

"Who are you? What do you want? Come out and talk, I won't harm you." If Erin could make contact with the Islanders maybe she could figure out some of their medicines to take back. What she was not expecting was that they were of not humanoid.

Cralyn snapped out of his dazed exhaustion, having been unfocused, the sound of a loud, boisterous, he turned unholstering his pistol with practiced ease. Monkey..The loud boisterous, monkey. 'A threat is a threat, primate or not.' His eyebrows arched in calm confusion as he held the gleaming weapon out before him ready to fire upon it, though it talked of peace and safety, there was no telling, and apparently, they were at war with some pig tribe or something to that affect. He walked forward noting the crew doctor shouting back at it, his gaze darted to her bewildered.

'What the hell is wrong with everyone..' He cracked a crooked and charming grin at the state of things, despite his urges to shoot. 'Have they forgotten that we don't negotiate with terrorists.' The rushed and edged jibberish would be threats to the ears of Cralyn, whose steel grip would be sweaty as it tightened on the handle of the pistol, the brass barrel dipping down, reaching up with his thumb to pull the hammer down, a whirring sound could have been heard from somewhere within the mechanics of the weapon.

The crooked smile was genuine, friendly and confident. He meant what he said and said what he meant, even if the manly doctor wanted to ring the monkey's neck, he felt he could keep her.. him.. herim from doing anything brash. The Captain and scientists, surely would find talking to a creature of this island a breakthrough. Surely. His voice was that of a proud young man, stern and holding a boyish characteristic while remaining strong. "I could guarantee your safety!" The shout was jovial and yet edged with a wicked fantastical humor as if he found the whole situation hilarious.

Monty saw the giant come towards his position; he had underestimated the otherworlder. The woman came to the tree and asked him some questions. “who am I” he laughed at that “I’m the shaman of the island or at least one of the best ones, what do I want to see if you pose problem. Which so far you do, you have pretty much made war with two different tribes. The boars I can make sure there is no war with, it’s the Jormungand that you have to worry about by crossing their territory in your giant raft you have declared war even the Tritons don’t go into the sea in fear of them.” He was still chuckling from his hiding spot in the tree. “They probably won’t attack you on land, but if they don’t attack the next time you set sail be sure they will be following you to your homeland. The boars will probably ask for the life’s equal to the children you slaughtered. Leave this place I will return later with the chief of the boar tribe, come back in the time it take to cook a meal, also I smell a member of the tiger clan, I would beware the woods, you probably eating his meal tonight.”

It was then another young one yelled at him promising safety. “Young one, it’s not because I worry about me I ask for my safety, I’m one of the few creatures on this island most tribes will listen to and if you kill me then you will, have more than two tribes to worry about. You will have most tribes from the smallest to the biggest angry at you, and that smile I’ve seen it before it the smile I used to wear when I thought I was the smartest one in the tribe, and then you do something that ruins everything. Like that thing in your hand I don’t know what it is but I can guess it’s a kind of weapon. Don’t worry if I wanted you dead I could of allowed you to have a war on two fronts, I’ll bring the boar chief to a tribal council, I will also bring another chief to this meeting as a second witness. Meet us down the beach when you find the rod in the sand wait there for us. If you are honorable just bring three of you I prefer your leader and two wise ones, not a childish brat who thinks of himself too high. Also this smoke is just smoke” he dropped a container that fell at the doctors feet, creating a smoke wall that gave him thirty seconds to go through the trees. By the time it was clear he was south of their landing point, he traveled a fifteen minutes walking distance put his stick in the ground. He headed into the forest and told the boar chief the bad news and that they were meeting the otherworlders soon and to meet him in the tritons village. He then jumped into the trees and came back out where his day had started, the triton lord was happy to be the third party and jumped into the sea to watch the stick, for the ones they were meeting. He waited till the triton chief returned with the news, of what the otherworlders had done

Re: Untouched Islands

Soooo.... I'm going to be headed to the Dominican Republic next week for a missions trip and I should be gone for about 2 weeks. I don't plan on posting in that time and thought I'd give the group a heads up. For story purposes I'm thinking we could put Kards in irons and have him spend some time in the ships hold for being a stowaway. That way the story can go on without me for that time.

Re: Untouched Islands

Abrielle hasn't logged in since the 15th, so Sess is fairyly stuck. Not sure what to do. Fingers crossed she returns this weekend.

Re: Untouched Islands

I do, again ...sort of. RPG did a wonderful job of tricking me into thinking I had posted what I typed out,

"Your message has been submitted." My arse. >:(

*Post is up: If it's alright, might it be before Monchus' (orbital cannon monkey :P) post? As indicated in there. Due to RPG deleting it's predecessor. If it's not, feel free to tell me. I'll do something about it then. :]

Re: Untouched Islands

I hope this hasn't stopped or anything O.o

It was just getting started!! Who else needs to post?

Re: Untouched Islands

i'm hideing in the trees, the other plan was to throw potions that would knock you out

Re: Untouched Islands

Having trouble deciding whether to wait for the captain to pass judgement on Kards, or if Kards would take the opportunity to investigate the monkey.... WWKD?

Re: Untouched Islands

That monkey has the subtlety of an orbital cannon.

Re: Untouched Islands

Soooooo..... Latest post.... Hmmmm

Re: Untouched Islands

I'll post in a few hours, just saw that I have been approved.

Re: Untouched Islands

I could post... But there wouldn't be much too it. Plus I've already done a bit and I'm not sure that I should considering others haven't really. Unless of course, someone is willing to interact with Erin while she waits for that blasted kards ;) She's got a wounded hand at the moment so she'll be in an even pissier mood. Good luck for all those who dare approach the beasts lair!

Re: Untouched Islands

Well, it's just that Corinne and Kayla are stuck at the jungle. Maybe our two new beastlings can help out there.

Re: Untouched Islands

Me and Furious Furious and I are currently collabing on a post that will get us away from the darkest recesses of the island and within range of other people. It'll probably only be one or two more posts until it's done since Nara's about to break into a sprint.

Re: Untouched Islands

I could post again, but I kinda have posted a lot and wanted others to get a chance.

Re: Untouched Islands

I've been a bad pony. Such a bad pony. But the characters waiting to be approved have been approved now.

Alas, you need me to step in for plot intervention already? I wanted to wait until everyone had interacted at least a little bit with the other characters for a coupla posts to get situated. Tsk tsk!

Image

Seriously, though, I'm glad to see the interactions going on between the characters who are together right now. Would still like to see a little more interaction among some of the other players before pulling out something plotty, but if things don't move I'll push it forward.

Re: Untouched Islands

Well Im still here but I have no idea on what to post so yeah

Re: Untouched Islands

I'm thinking that he's having trouble with being able to get online, or something of that nature.

Re: Untouched Islands

Moths are fuzzy and adorable. I still swat them if they come at me, though.

Hamilton, can I request you to advance the story a bit? It doesn't seem like any beastlings are in a position to make contact at this point, and many of the explorers seem to be stuck in limbo, waiting for it.

It would be a shame to lose players already.

(Abrielle hasn't logged in this week, but I'm hoping she'll log in this weekend.)

Re: Untouched Islands

Not so much furry as it is ... people dressed in leotards that leave very little to the imagination.

Image

It's like compulsory for google images to always serve you a side dish of porn, along with a main course of what you want. I've got to Sess, say has changed my perception of moths to a much brighter image. :X

Re: Untouched Islands

Neat character, Flick. I feel sorry for you when I think you had to sift through a crapload of furry porn :p

Re: Untouched Islands

Hi,

I've written my character profile for review. My bad it took so long, any image that had reasonable semblance to FF's character proved challenging to find. Recent attempts to use google images brings me either to porn or this guy.

And RPG kept logging me out and I had to retype everything several times. ._.'"

Buuut now it's up for postings to be made. If it's too horrible to be let into the play, feel free to tell me straight -it's fine.
