{ Childhood/Family Life }
Vincent grew up on Long Island in Garden City with his parents, Phillip and Colette, and his two younger siblings, Connor and Mia. His father owns once of the largest law firms in the tri-state-area and although it's central offices are in downtown Manhattan, he preferred the quiet suburban life for his family. Life at home was always pleasant for Vincent. His parents are one of the strongest couples, although he's unaware of an incident years back when his father was caught sleeping with his secretary. He loves his family, aside from his brother at the moment, and knows that he was lucky to be born into a stable and loving home. Vincent was enrolled in a Catholic school on the island for his kindergarten through eighth grade years, but transferred to Saint Jude's for his freshman year of high school. Attending Saint Jude's was part of the plan since the day Vincent was born. His father and uncles all attended the school, and eleven of his older cousins have already graduated from it. At first, his mother insisted that he commute to the school every day, but after a bit of convincing on Vincent and Phil's part, she agreed that it would be best for him to stay in the city while at school. The entire family wasn't going to uproot and move off of the island and into the city, so Phil purchased a one-bedroom apartment for him in the Upper East Side, only blocks away from Saint Jude's.

{ High School Career }
During the first few months of freshman year, Vincent was a lot less cocky than he is now. He was new to the Manhattan private school scene and hadn't grown up in NYC like most of the guys at Saint Jude's had, so he felt like a fish out of water. Lacrosse did help him make friends but his real break came when he started getting with a lot of the popular girls at Constance Billard. He gained respect from the other guys and earned the role of being a player; the type of guy who would charm his way into a girl's pants and then move onto a new girl the next weekend.

While this did help him socially, it cost him big with Sienna Alvarez, a childhood friend who he had been dating for a little bit over a year. She was out of town one night when Vincent ended up at a big party. He ended up sneaking off with Sydney Vale and having sex with her, and although Vincent had originally decided not to tell Sienna and acting like everything was still normal, he ended up telling one of his friends that he had gotten with a girl that night. He never said who it was but when Sienna found out, he did confess that it was Sydney. She broke up with him after that and even though the two haven't gotten back together since then and it sparked Vincent's image of a womanizer, he still cares about Sienna.

{ Good personality traits }
Confident, charming, hardworking, sociable, poised, responsible

{ Bad personality traits }
Arrogant, indecisive, lustful, aggressive, proud, troublemaker

{ Personality }
Vincent has earned the title of a womanizer. He's good with words and knows how to charm a girl into thinking that "she's the only girl in the world for him" and that "he's never felt this way about anyone else". When he promises that he'll text the girl again after having sex with her, he's not always lying. He will definitely keep her number in his contacts for the next time he's feeling horny. Vincent knows that in order to capture the hearts of the girls he wants to sleep with, he has to be confident. However, his confidence tends to cross over into being egotistical and he's known to boast about how many girls want him and how good looking he is.

He may not be a girl, but Vincent tends to enjoy drama just as much as some of them seem to. He's known to stir in hopes of getting to witness an entertaining, and possibly hot, cat fight. Although he is a troublemaker in that sense, most of what he says is true. There are a lot of scandalous things that go on in Manhattan and an abundance of rumors circulating all of the time, so he's usually just passing on something that someone else told him. He isn't the type to make up vicious rumors about people but won't hesitate to add fuel to the fire if he does hear something about someone. However, when someone says something about him or threatens him, Vincent's pride tends to get the best of him. Especially with a few drinks in his system, Vincent can be extremely aggressive and will try to start a fight with any guy that dismisses him, or bothers one of his friends. While he doesn't hesitate to hit on and use girls, he takes it personally when other guys to it to his close girl friends.

Despite his flaws, Vincent isn't always a bad guy to be around. He's sociable and is always looking to hang out with his friends or go to parties, and he knows when to be respectful. Especially in front of parents or authoritative figures, Vincent can be well-mannered, poised and professional. He's hard working and responsible and if you can forgive him for not calling you back after sleeping with you, you might end up seeing that side.

{ Greatest joys in life }
Girls, lacrosse, pizza

{ Greatest fears }
Being rejected, having a gay kid, allergic reactions (he's allergic to shrimp), sharks

{ Life philosophy }

{ Parents }
Father | Age 46 | Phil Mast
Phil owns an large law firm and is the sole breadwinner of the family. He has always had high expectations for Vincent, whether it be with sports, academics, or scoring girls. Phil was the one who encouraged Vincent to get into lacrosse and has been his biggest supporter. He has always wanted Vincent to have every opportunity in life to be successful, and hopes that his son will take over his business down the road.

Mother | Age 42 | Colette Mast
Vincent and his mother are extremely close. She has always been more of a friend to him than a mother and his friends compare her to Regina George's mom. She's the "cool mom" who always wants to know the latest gossip, doesn't mind hosting underage drinkers and is lenient with rules.

{ Siblings }
Brother | Age 13 | Charlie Mast
Vincent was never close with Charlie, but when his brother came out as being gay a year ago, their relationship became nonexistent. They haven't spoken in almost six months and Vincent is honestly embarrassed to have him as a brother.

Sister | Age 9 | Mia Mast
Because of their age gap and the fact that Vincent is rarely home, he doesn't have much of a relationship with his sister. When he is at home, she always wants to hang out with him and show him off to her friends, but Vincent has never been a fan of little kids and even though Mia is getting older, he still sees her as an annoying four-year-old sister.

{ Distinguishable Markings }
Vincent has light freckles scattered across his face which are more noticeable in the summer when he's tan. He has a scar on his right upper arm from stitches he had to get a few years ago after a lacrosse accident.

{ Personal Style }
Vincent likes dressing well. You would never see him in basketball shorts or Jordans and isn't the type of guy who has an aversion to wearing designer clothes or suits. He prefers plain shirts, collared shirts or sweaters with slacks, jeans or khaki shorts. When he's dressing casually, you will frequently see him wearing a backwards baseball cap.

Vincent and Kelley ended up hailing a cab, and taking it back to his apartment. He managed to keep her from pestering him too much, by spending much of the car ride on the phone with his dad. He went on about work, and how he couldn't believe Colette was expecting him to miss a major meeting to come to her sister's dinner party. He talked about lacrosse and how the coach for Duke wanted to meet with him, and how all he needed to do was keep his grades up semester and he'd "be set".

"Is Taryn is coming?" Vincent asked, reemerging from his bedroom after spending a good half hour locked in it. And yes, he had to lock to door after Kelley had barged in three times when he was either in the shower, or in the middle of changing. He glanced at himself in a mirror as he walked past her, and adjusted the bottom of his shirt.

"Is your secret girlfriend coming?" she questioned, still unsure if he had taken her suggestion or not, and completely disregarding his question about her sister. "And does that secret girlfriend have a denim fetish or something, pretty boy?" she added, raising an eyebrow as she watched her cousin check himself out in the mirror before continuing down the hall.

"Seriously, Kell, can you not be annoying tonight?" Vincent asked, twisting his head back to give Kelley a serious look. He knew that she was just playing around, and that being obnoxious was just in her character, but he just wanted a few moments of peace before spending an evening with his family. The answer to Kelley's question, judging by the two texts Sienna had sent him, was yes, and that was a relief at least. He had no doubt that his family was going to adore her just as much as they always had, so her presence would only serve as a positive addition to the night.

"She knows that I know, right?" Kelley said, maintaining her streak of ignoring Vincent's questions, and continuing to poke at him with her own as they navigated out of his apartment.

"I don't know. I guess so? She knows how all my mom does is talk about us, so yeah, sure." He didn't get why she cared so much. Yes, Sienna had wanted to keep them being in a relationship a secret to prevent drama, but it wasn't like Kelley really counted. If he hadn't told her, for instance, she would have found out tonight, or days ago anyway through his mother.

"Are you nervous?" She responded quickly, grabbing his shirt to slow him down as they exited his building's lobby.

"I wasn't until you started acting like this. Can you just chill out for a minute?" Vincent shot back, pulling his shirt out of her hand. He didn't think he was nervous about Sienna or his family or the night in general. The only thing that was making him nervous was Kelley, and more specifically, Kelley saying something to piss Sienna off. From what he knew, the two of them got along well enough. If Kelley was drunk, she could get along with anyone. Still, though, Kelley was with him the night he went to Sydney's to try to apologize, and he had never told Sienna about that. Kelley had apparently spent some quality girl time with Sydney, and though he didn't think Kelley would ever be able to "bond" with the queen bee, she probably knew her better than Sia at this point. He had come a long way to get Sienna back, and what was making him nervous was the idea of his cousin ruining that for him.

"Oh my God, obviously I'm not why you're nervous," Kelley responded, punching him in the shoulder. "Something's up with you, and I'm gonna figure it out. Now loosen the fuck up. I'm the one who should be stressed out. Both of my parents are going to be here, and yes, Taryn, her darling husband, and their unborn demon child will be there too," she informed him, before her straight face turned up into a smirk. "I told Brent to come by though, just to piss them off."

"I don't get what you see in that kid," Vincent shrugged as they slid into the back of a cab he hailed. "That kid is the scummiest guy at Saint Jude's, and isn't he apparently broke as hell too, getting Charlotte to give him money or something?" He didn't really care about Brent Barclay, but if talking about him and Kelley's personal life kept her out of his, he would do it. It also gave him a second to text Sienna back.

To: Sienna
bring nothing but patience ;) you know how my family is and i don't want you to leave me over them lol. i'd much rather spend a night with mr & mrs A than my family.

"Hey!" she exclaimed, slapping Vincent on the leg as if she were offended. "Brent is actually a really nice guy. He's the one who created your 'pretty boy' nickname, for the record, and some of us don't care about how wealthy our men are. His wallet might not be big but his--"

"Don't even finish that," Vincent jumped in. He wasn't protective over Kelley as if she were her sister, but he still wasn't interested in hearing about her sex life, especially when it involved Brent Barclay. "Do you want me to text Rick and see if he'll come? Your parents love him." Vincent didn't necessarily want to invite Ricardo, because having to prove that he wanted his girlfriend as much as he did wasn't on his list of favorite things to do, but dealing with that was probably easier than dealing with Barclay.

Kelley didn't even wait until she was fully out of the taxi cab to answer Vincent. She spoke over him exchanging money with their driver, and over the sound of her doorman greeting them. "No! If I wanted my parents to be happy, I would have already invited Rick. I mean, you can invite. I wouldn't be surprised if my mom already fucking did, but I don't want to be a good daughter tonight Vince. Now, I'm going up to get dressed, so make sure your secret girlfriend gets here soon so I have someone cool to hang with," Kelley demanded. She left Vincent in the penthouse's elevator car with a falsified innocent smile, and headed upstairs to her bedroom to get dressed herself. On her way up, she responded to Charlotte's text.

To: Charlotte
pleaseeeee you would never do that. you are not a #badassblondebitch like me. me and brent don't have anything to hide though, that's why i want you to come over. he might be broke enough that you've gotta help him out, but i promise he makes up for it in other areas ;))))) come, vincent's secret girlfriend is coming and ik she hearts you

Sienna simply grabbed a black Givenchy, took one final look at the light make-up she had applied to her face, and was ready to go. She scooped up her phone on the way out and was literally out the door, unlocking her phone's screen in order to respond to the text messages that she had received. She also picked up a bad she had meaning to give Jane. Granted, she didn't validate Sydney's last comments because it was unnecessary to do so. Why give her the satisfaction of Sienna attempting to plead her case? She didn't owe Sydney anything. Sienna had, in a way, apologized about the post. But Sydney had destroyed their relationship years ago and Sienna had feigned ignorance until it was too much. Besides, Sienna didn't need to justify anything, even as she had felt herself slowly descent into this space where...where she reveled in knowing that she was gunning for Tori's livelihood. Because at the end of the day, unlike Sydney, Sienna was not making moves just to screw someone over because they insulted her shoes. Sienna's actions were for a friend and that would come to light later. Plus, Jane had to know Sienna loved her enough to do so, right?

To: Carolina
Hey, J is still my bae. I treat that 1 w/ nothing but love. And don't make lite of wats going on w/ her. Bitchy or not, sickness is nothing 2 joke about and she was really bad b4 the summer. The last thing I need is 4 her to take matters even more into her own hands like actually refusing 2 eat 4 days. Don't know how I'd feel about my girl in a hospital

To: Vincent
Okie dokie, I'll be there soon

With no response from Charlotte yet, Sienna hurried down to the garage, a last minute decision considering where she was going. She didn't make it a habit of visiting Kelley and if they were meeting up at the blonde's place, then it would be better to not show up in the typical car. Everyone would know Sienna had to have been there and honestly, she didn't feel like answering anyone's questions. Maybe her Madam President's, but not anyone else's, not even Jane's. After convincing her driver to take the truck instead of the usual town car (it was her brother's, who would probably be mad but Sienna couldn't care when he wasn't even in the country), she sat back comfortably in the lush backseat, deciding to check in on Jane.

To: Jane
R u feeling so bad rite now that my driver & I can't drop off this Cartier love set?

To: Carolina
Also, evry1 knows that Syd & I aren't friends rite now. She fucked up, expects ppl 2 excuse her, and honestly, i'm done waiting 4 validation from her. I've got more going on in my life than she ever will & I shouldn't have 2 continuously b the one making shit up 2 her.

To: Piper
I'm gonna try 2 stay w/ her for a few, but could u check in on J? She's not feeling 2 well

On the way to Jane's place, Sienna passed the time being on Tumblr and Twitter, going into a tweet war with Selena Gomez over the Cosmos for Latina Awards Dinner they had both gone to and about who had dressed better (Sienna arguing for Selena and Selena arguing for Sienna). Before long, she was outside of the Lynch residence and after telling her driver to wait for a bit, Sienna slid out of the vehicle and entered the lobby. She tossed a smile at the guard at the front desk, a familiar face, before traipsing over to the elevator, pressing the buzzer for someone to let her in. She actually didn't anticipate Jane coming to the door, instead banking on texting one of the house maids. She had gotten the older woman's number on a hunch, because she knew that when Jane didn't want to talk to people or be forced to do so, it was better to just bardge right on in. So, it only took a few for the elevator to come down for her and before Sienna knew it, she was standing in the lobby of the Lynch family's penthouse.

To: Jane
J, don't make me jump u in ur room. Come on, I have a present & love 2 shower on u

Sienna wasn't at all surprised when Jane, instead of responding to what Sienna was trying to say about the party or even about Jane's appearance, turned it into a moment to bring up Sydney more. Which was fine, she understood Jane's point. She didn't want to continue speaking about herself and her problems, especially considering the fact that she had been ignorant to Sienna and Sydney knowing about her disorder only a week ago. But what Jane said did strike Sienna silent for a moment, at least long enough for Jane to stand and pull her into a hug.

Trying not to appear affected by her friends words, Sienna pulled a bright smile as she leaned into Jane's embrace, hugging the brunette fiercely before releasing her. A small laugh escaped Sienna's mouth at the thought of her mother thinking Jane kidnapped her, a thought Cynthia Alvarez had had once or twice in the past. Not that it had been a lie since Jane would kidnap Sienna from time to time, but Jane was going with the lie and Sienna really was trying not to think on the fact that she was slowly becoming better at lying to people. Not something she wanted to think on for too long. What she couldn't ignore was the way her chest filled with warmth at Jane calling her a best friend. No matter how many times she heard it, the words still stirred the same emotions in her and Sienna was too emotional for her own good. "No problem, J." Winking one last time at the brunette, Sienna headed over to the elevator before stepping in to the opening doors, turning around to wave at Jane before pressing the button for the lobby and letting the doors close.

It was only when she was back in her family's vehicle and on the way to Kelley's place that Sienna allowed herself to mull over what Jane had said. Sydney...missed her. It seemed too implausible, like another one of optimistic and sweet Jane's excuses as to why Sydney had to be a bigger bitch one day than the day before. Sydney wouldn't miss her. Definitely not Piper, but not Sienna. At least, Sienna couldn't wrap her brain around the idea of her former friend missing her. As if they hadn't had good times in between the bad. As if they both hadn't come together during various points over the last three years to vent to each other instead of just screaming at Jane. As if they hadn't laughed and played and been actual friends. No, Sydney couldn't miss her even if Sienna did, now that she gave herself a second to comprehend the emotion, miss her. It just wasn't in Sydney's nature, or at least in the nature that she revealed to Sienna. Shaking her head of the thoughts since they were almost enough to convince her that she needed to either work out or sleep them away, Sienna pulled her phone out to see where Vincent was.

To: Vincent
Close by. Are u there?Is Collie?

Kelley left to go get dressed, leaving Vincent at the foot of the grand staircase. He considered going upstairs and wandering the halls just to avoid having to socialize with his immediate and extended family, and the other socialites that had been invited tonight, but he didn't move before it was too late. His mother appeared at the other end of the hallway and once Colette saw someone she wanted to talk to, there was no escaping. "Thank God that you're finally here! I was so worried that you would pull a move like your father tried to do, and pretend to be sick to get out of seeing your own mother," Colette exclaimed, wrapping Vincent in a hug.

"Never," he reassured her with a small chuckle, glancing back at the stairs and almost hoping now, that Kelley and her unrestrained persona would reemerge to distract his mother. "You decided not to bring Mia?" he asked. He recalled his mother contemplating whether or not they would bring Mia and Vincent's brother, Charlie, but because Vincent had essentially exiled his brother for being gay, he purposely didn't bring him up.

"No, she didn't want to miss her dance class. She's getting good at it, you know! I'm sure she would appreciate you coming to her recital this weekend." Colette was walking and talking as she led Vincent into a sitting room that was empty aside from his father, who was sitting on a couch texting until he heard the pair walk in. "Look who I found!" she announced as she approached her husband.

"Hey Dad," Vincent said, his extended hand quickly being matched by a handshake that was so strong that as a kid, Vincent used to think his father was purposely trying to crush his fingers.

"Vincent! Good to see you, son. I've got to talk to you later about some lacrosse calls I made for you." His father's greeting wasn't as overwhelming as his mother's, but Vincent preferred it that way. That was just how his father was, and being too emotional or chatty honestly would have made him feel awkward too.

"Let's not get into college talk tonight! I have my baby around for one more year, don't even remind me about how you're thinking about leaving your own mother until its necessary to talk about it!" Colette ordered, placing her now-empty wine glass down on an end table. "Now I know Cynthia couldn't make it on such short notice, but she promised me that my future daughter-in-law would be here to make up for her absence!"

"Yeah, she's coming," he reassured her, glancing down at his phone as he received a message from her, informing him that she was almost there. "She should be here any minute, but when she gets here, can you not make a big deal over us. She kind of wants to keep it on the down low for a little while." Vincent didn't expect Colette to be able to calm down any aspect of her personality, but it was worth a shot to just ask and advise her.

To: Sienna
Yeah, I'm here and my parents are too. I'd tell you to turn back now while you still can but I need someone to keep me sane tonight

"Me? Make a big deal? I don't know why you would even say that! I never make a big deal out of anything, and I would never embarrass you kids. You know that and Sienna knows it too!" It took a lot of strength to resist rolling his eyes at his mom's denial of being dramatic. If Colette Mast was anything, it was dramatic. She was the nicest person, and was always trying to be comforting and approachable and young, but she liked to make things into a spectacle and that was the last thing that Vincent wanted tonight. He already had to worry about Kelley destroying his relationship with Sienna, and he didn't need his mom on the sideline making things worse. "If anything, you should be telling your father that! He's the one who's been nonstop talking about how great it is that you and Sienna are back together! Isn't that right, Phil?" Colette said, only realizing now, as she turned her head, that her husband had strayed a few feet away and was typing away on his cellphone with furrowed eyebrows.

Vincent had noticed moments earlier, but hadn't said anything. He knew that his father wasn't into dinner parties unless important clients were going to be there, and seeing the Mast patriarch completely zoned out of reality and into his work phone was nothing new. Honestly, Vincent didn't blame him or get offended by the lack of interest his father sometimes showed. He looked up to his dad enough that he sympathized for the amount of stress his father was under, being the CEO of such a large law firm, and having to live up to the expectations that Colette put on him. "Phil! Are you even listening to me? I'm trying to have a family conversation here, with our first child, who never comes to see us, and you can't even put your phone down for two minutes to actually engage with us?!"

"The kid's been at school for a week, Colette, and I'm pretty sure this is why he never wants to come home. I'm listening, and I'm only on my phone because I'm trying to get those tickets you wanted to the Herve Leger show." His father did seem shorter than usual, but Colette and Phillip's bickering tonight didn't seem unusual. They frequently did it, with Colette telling Phil he wasn't enough of a family man, and Phil trying to reason that that was only so, because his family demanded so much of him. It was usually a light banter, sometimes even amusing depending on how dramatic his mother chose to be, but Vincent was just hoping that everyone would tone it down tonight. Sienna knew his family well, but he was feeling nervous and even a little uptight. He just wanted things to go right tonight, so when his mother simply replied to her husband with a roll of her eyes before ushering Vincent towards one of the more occupied rooms of the home, he followed without a word. "He is unbelievable. You know that if we were at his sister's house, he would not be doing that," Colette scoffed, picking up a drink from the tray of a passing waiter. "I need to remind Sienna how lucky she is that you got my personality, and not your father's. Did you say she's on her way, or do you want me to text her?"

Vincent wanted to have a chance to talk to Sienna alone, at least to let her know that most of his family knew about them being back together, before throwing her into this circus, but that probably wasn't going to be possible. His mother was already drinking and his father already tired of trying to act like he wanted to be there, and the party was only officially beginning now. If nothing else, Sienna would bring his mother's mood up a little bit, which would in turn get her off of his father's back, and possibly make things easier for the rest of the night. "No, don't text her!" he nearly yelled. "She's probably here by now. Let's go down and check," he suggested, not waiting for his mother to open her mouth before starting towards the foyer.

It was too much of a norm for Vincent to take notice, but Kelley's family was one of the many families in the Upper East Side who went all the way for any event, even a simple, intimate dinner party. Waiters, an exquisite chef (despite his aunt being a professional one herself), fancy tableware and even a few people playing harps in the corner of the living room... it was all extravagant, and arguably unnecessary. The Mast Family fit in seamlessly with the families they socialized with in the Upper East Side, but out of the family, Kelley's family definitely took the spot for being more regal. Obviously, you'd never know that by just looking or talking to Kelley, though. Phil Mast made an enormous amount of money compared to an average joe, but George Hadley probably made double that. Not to mention that Rachel Hadley made bank on her own. It was no wonder why his mother seemed more high-strung tonight. Being around her sister and being reminded that she'd always be living in her older sister's shadow always made his mother down martinis like they were water.

Out of all of the things in her closet, Kelley thought that she was playing it safe by swapping her school uniform for a simple black skater dress with black wedge sandals. She knew that her mother would find a way to critique the look regardless, but it would be better than what she would get if she wanted to be ballsy and sport the dress she planned on wearing out later that night, to the dinner party too. As expected, the wardrobe choice wasn't as appreciated as Kelley felt it should have been. As she was crouched down beside her bed, struggling to find her phone charger, she heard her sister's voice from behind, and instantly cursed herself for leaving her door unlocked.

"Headed to a funeral?" Kelley froze at the initial sound of the voice, so condescending and provocative. This was clearly one of her sister's traps. She'd make some pretentious remark to get a rise out of Kelley, Kelley would (over)react, a fight would ensue and Kelley would find herself on the receiving end of some high-pitched rant from her mother about how she was going to end up dead by age twenty-five if she didn't "clean up her act".

"Yeah, yours." It seemed like the most civil way to respond to her sister at the moment, and without even making eye contact, Kelley headed towards the door to her attached bathroom.

"Oooh, good one," Taryn remarked sarcastically, as she stepped farther into Kelley's room to follow her to the bathroom. It was possible that Kelley was being dramatic, but even with her back to her sister, she could feel her judging her. She could somehow sense her sister's eyes scanning her messy bedroom in an attempt to find anything to pick a fight with her over. "Try to behave yourself tonight, Kelley. For once, have a little bit of respect for the work that Mom and Dad put into something."

"Can you and your planet-sized stomach get the fuck out of my room?" Snapping seemed necessary now. Kelley wouldn't stand to be lectured by anyone, nonetheless her sister. She knew that she could be wild and destructive and out of control, but she didn't care. That was the whole point of it, and maybe the worst part about it. Kelley was exceptionally bright, so it wasn't like she was unaware of the damage that she was doing to her mental state and physical state by drinking and partying excessively, or tearing at her family relationships. She just didn't care. She didn't want to be told what to do, and when she was, she would blatantly do the opposite just to stress the point that she could do whatever she wanted.

"This is what I'm talking about. You have this attitude all of the time, and not only is it disrespectful, but it's immature and quite frankly, unattractive. You're a smart girl and it's just a shame that--"

"Okay, cool, bye!" 'That's enough of that!' was the first thought that shot through her mind as she extended one leg to kick her bathroom door shut, completely uncaring that the door slammed in her sister's face. She would probably hear about how wrong she was for doing so later on from her mother, but Kelley couldn't "try to behave" if her sister was already pushing her buttons. She could only give Taryn so much leeway for having to deal with pregnancy hormones before it just became unbearable, and Kelley had already reached that point. Granted, she was never really nice to her sister, pregnant or not. As a child, Kelley looked up to Taryn like most little sisters do to their big sisters, but once Kelley hit the start of her rebellious stage, that ended. Taryn was a mini-me of their mother and couldn't stand the idea of having a sister who went against the morals they were raised with, and they clashed. A lot. Had Taryn not got married and moved out, one of the two probably would have killed the other by this point.

Kelley spent fifteen minutes in her bathroom applying makeup and trying to convince herself that the two shots of vodka she had consumed while getting dressed before her sister came in were enough alcohol for now. It sure as hell didn't feel like enough, but Kelley was aware of her habits enough to know that if she let her emotions get the best of her this early on, she'd be passed out cold before dinner was even served. Even as someone who was pretty carefree, family dinners in this house were hard for Kelley.

Her phone was still beside her bed charging, so she couldn't text Brent to see where he was or respond to Charlotte, and knowing that she'd cave and down the bottle of Jameson hidden under her bed if she stayed in her room any longer, Kelley eventually headed downstairs. She came down at the ideal time too, apparently, because as she reached the last step, she spotted Vincent and his mother heading towards her. "Mom!" Kelley exclaimed playfully as she reached Colette and gave her a squeeze. Vincent's mom had more youthful energy in her than a lot of Kelley's own peers did, and anyone who knew Colette knew that she was fun to be around. In a way, she reminded Kelley of herself. Aside from the fact that they both drank a lot when they were stressed (or bored, or happy, or tired, or anything...), they both were considered to be insufficient when compared to their siblings. Kelley's was more her own fault than anything else, but at the very least, she enjoyed her aunt's drunk venting sessions over how inconsiderate Kelley's mom could be. "Now that I joined you two and all of the relevant family members are together, I think there's only one more person we have to wait for..." she grinned at Vincent. "Vincent's secret girlfriend," she finished, teasingly. She knew that Colette knew about Sienna and Vincent, but it was still fun to taunt her cousin at any available opportunity. "And Brent, but who knows when the fuck he'll get here."

Despite how much Vincent seemed to detest his own family's antics, Sienna found the Mast family very endearing. Perhaps it was the child in her who remembered visits to their home and playing in the backyard or stealing some of Vincent's video games because her big brothers were too damn selfish to share, and she knew that Colette and Phil would let her get away with it. Whether or not Vincent was too thrilled with that fact or not. Perhaps it was simply a bias her mother had instilled in her from years of speaking nothing but her old companion's praises, Sienna honestly didn't know. But she couldn't help but laugh at the text he had sent.

To: Vincent
Don't b so dramatic. I'm sure evry1 is fine

The Hadley family was a completely different story. Whenever the Alvarez and the Mast families had gotten together, those times where the Hadleys would convene with them were too few of instances for Sienna to truly have a perception of them. She knew that they were a very well-bred and dignified. That was only through observation. Sienna's closeness had always been with Vincent, never with Kelley, so she had never been sure when the girl's "descent into drunken madness," or whatever some of the Upper East side girls called it. She had never had the displeasure of getting particularly nasty or close with Kelley's sister nor did she have to sit for too long through the gossiping Cynthia would have probably done with Colette and her sister. The sister seeming to serve as the impetus for Colette's more...looser tongue when she thought Sienna hadn't heard her or that Cynthia had sent the then-younger singer away. Not that she had ever said anything about it, even to Vincent, but still. She didn't know what to expect with the family, but if they were like any other Upper East side family, then Sienna didn't know what to be worried about.

At the same time, she could feel the uneasiness beginning to bubble up in her belly when her driver informed her that they were five minutes out. Could feel the moisture building up her palms, prompting her to distract her brain with rubbing her signature jasmine vanilla lotion into her skin. This was still new. When was the last time she sat to a family dinner with Vincent's family? Did anyone already know about them? What if they didn't approve? What if Vincent himself didn't approve anymore? They had spent several days apart, their schedules hadn't been working out, and what if they really did only want each other because it had been familiar? That put a cold fear in Sienna's chest and she had to swallow the thick emotion down. But the sudden burst of nerves continued, unwanted and absolutely daunting.

What if Kelley decided that she hated her or something? What if she accidentally snapped at Kelley or her mom, or even her sister? Sienna may not have had too many interactions with them herself, but she had heard about them one too many times to not have her fears. And Sienna was known for not taking anything from a lot of people, even during more dignified situations. What if she lost her cool? What if she was too dressed up? That prompted her to pull out her makeup container to check the lip gloss on her lips, prompting her then to add another layer just above her cake batter lip balm.

"Nope, we're good," she had to actually tell herself after staring at her reflection for a minute longer than she needed to, ignoring the not even there clump of mascara on her left eye's lashes. She was fine. She looked fine. Vincent didn't sound like he didn't want her there - quite the opposite. This was going to be fine. And yet her heart was still beating rather rapidly as the eldest Alvarez girl climbed out of her family car, waving to the driver as he turned the corner. Taking a deep breath, she turned to face the upscale building and upon another breath, Sienna headed inside the lobby, only removing her shades once again when she was inside. Nodding to the doorman, Sienna pulled her phone back out to text the two teens she was going to be spending her evening with.

To: Vincent, Kelley
Hey, I'm downstairs. Can someone let me in?

All he needed was to get to the apartment's lobby room, where the elevator let out, and he would be fine. He'd ask Sienna to speed it up, and soon enough his mother would be obsessing over whatever his girlfriend wore, or informing her that Cynthia was not off the hook for getting out of this dinner. His mother seemed preoccupied with the drink in her hand and the frequent momentary stops they made along the way, where she would say hello to a passing guest, and then turn to Vincent a step away and inform him of how the man was cheating on his wife, or how the woman's body was 99% plastic. If he wasn't stressed out, he would have been more than amused at his mother's antics. Colette was always entertaining, tipsy or not, but when she was drinking and stressed out herself, the things she said were more unfiltered than they normally were. Right now, Vincent suspected that that could either make or break him. Colette could be fun and friendly with Sienna, or she could say something to remind Sienna of how overbearing his mother was, and get her thinking if she really wanted to be dating Vincent and his mother.

They didn't make it to the foyer before running into the last person that Vincent wanted to see right now. Kelley came prancing down the stairs and her mouth was running before Vincent even had time to take her presence in. "Well don't you look gorgeous! You're even prettier than I was at your age."

Vincent's phone went off, and suspecting it was Sienna, he pulled it out instantly. It was her. Thank God. "Sienna's here so I'm going to buzz her in. I'll be back in a minute."

"Um, absolutely not! We'll come and say hi to her too. I met her first Vincent, don't forget that."

"Yeah, and I met you before she met you, so don't forget that either, bitch!"

"We don't all need to buzz her in. Seriously, I'll be back in one minute," he insisted.

"Don't let him go, Coll! All it takes is one minute for a teenage boy to get a pretty girl pregnant, and damn, Sienna can already be a bitch without pregnancy hormones."

"Excuse me! Do not talk about my daughter-in-law like that!"

"True, your future grandchild's mother should be more respected. I apologize. Now give me a sip of that!" Kelley said, the first part snidely and the second part overly sweet as she reached for the glass of champagne in her aunt's hand.

"Not a chance! Your mother doesn't need another reason to criticize me! Besides, you're too young to drink this much vodka," Colette responded as she swatted away the hand, before stirring the drink in her hand with the small straw.

In the midst of his mother and cousin's bickering, Vincent had stepped behind them and down the hall. He buzzed Sienna in and stood besides the elevator door as he waited for her to get up. He felt calmer standing there than he had over the past hour or so, but he knew he couldn't avoid his family all night. While there were enough businessmen and socialites here that he didn't know, who he could probably blend into the crowd with, his mother was here. And Kelley. The two of them were relentless, and throwing Sienna into the mix only made that worse. If nothing else, he could at least get a minute with her alone, after what felt like a month without seeing her.

"You look... beautiful," he grinned when the elevator doors opened. He barely gave her time to step out before his arms found their way around his waist and his lips pressed against hers. He pulled away after a few seconds, knowing that a full PDA session, despite his own desires, would really be pushing the prim Hadley code of behavior. "I should either apologize in advance for my family, or you should get back in this elevator and we can go somewhere else. Pick your poison."

Brent felt like as far as she knew, he had just as much of a reason to believe that Charlotte was behind the post as she had to believe that he was behind it. If the post hadn't referenced his family and bleak situation, he could see why she would think that. It would be in his character to make up a lie about the two of the dating, not just to win some points for himself, but to piss her off. Hell, even a lie about her not being the goody two shoes president could have been by his doing, but throwing himself under in such an embarrassing way? That wasn't a game that he was going to enjoy playing. On the flip side, he could see her being behind something like that to try to embarrass him, but equally, she wouldn't want to ruin her own presidency by throwing herself under the bus to get a hit in at him. It wasn't worth it for either of them to be behind the post, and it didn't matter anyway, because Brent knew that Victoria was the one behind it. Charlotte didn't give him a chance to respond, which wasn't unusual in their wars to get in the last word, but even if she hadn't disappeared behind her now-locked apartment building door, he wouldn't have had much to say.

To: Kelley
i'm almost there

Brent definitely stuck out like a sore thumb walking into the Hadley's building minutes later, but he knew how to work situations like this. He sold to a lot of kids in the Upper East Side, who had doormen who always seemed like they had sticks up their asses towards anyone who wasn't wearing Prada or Gucci or whatever it was that rich people thought was trendy nowadays. So, as he stepped into the building, his phone was pressed to his ear and a serious look was plastered on his face.

"Yes, Mrs. Hadley. I'm on my way up right now... yes, I know that I'm late, but..." Brent didn't even glance towards the doorman who attempted to wave him over to the front desk where he should have waited to be buzzed in. He pretended that he was too focused on his fake phone call to notice, and to make things even better, he quickly darted into the elevator before the door shut. "Hey, Bill! Hold the door for me, buddy!" he had shouted from across the lobby before slipping through the doors, continuing the act that he belonged here and knew the people in the elevator. He got lucky that they were headed up to the Hadley apartment too, but judging by the disapproving and nearly disgusted looks that they flashed him, he shouldn't have been surprised. Brent had never met Kelley's parents before. He had heard about them... he had heard a lot about them, and all of the bad stuff had come from Kelley herself. They had probably been at a couple of Charlotte's events that he attended too, but whenever they were around, Kelley wanted to stay as far away from them as possible, which meant that he was too. All that he really knew was that they were uptight rich people, but that didn't set them apart from basically every other couple in this community.

The eleavtor ride to the penthouse was surprisingly quick, but Brent managed to reply to Piper's text within that time. Selling more pills to Jane was tempting, but Tori had told him not to, and he wanted that paycheck. He could probably get just as much, if not more, from Jane if he did sell to her, but he wanted to see what Tori was getting at with keeping Jane out of pills for a little while. If nothing else, when he did sell to her again, she'd be desperate enough to be willing to pay astronomical prices for the pills. It seemed like a good business mood, increasing the demand, decrease the supply, and voilร , allow for a big jump in prices.

To: Piper
No can do for now ;), extend my sincerest apologies

When the elevator doors opened, Brent waited for the couple inside to disperse before evacuating himself. As he exited, he spotted Vincent Mast pretty close to Sienna Alvarez. He wasn't close with either of them, but that didn't stop him from walking over to them when he saw that Kelley still hadn't answered his text about him being on his way there. "Hope I'm not interrupting anything..." he began, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. If he knew even one of them better, he would have made a remark about how Vincent deserved a statute put up in his honor, for being able to fuck the hottest girl in the Upper East Side, while dating the second hottest girl in the Upper East Side, and then clearly get to fuck around with that girl again, even after she found out about the cheating. He wasn't going to push his luck though, especially since he only vaguely knew about the scandal through word of mouth. "But is Kelley hanging around here somewhere?"

As Sienna boarded the elevator that would lead her to the Hadley's residence, she received a text from Piper and another from her sister. Esmee had apparently gotten into an argument with Cynthia and locked herself in Sienna's room. Some stick was up her mom's ass officially for the night and Sienna frowned. That was the last thing she needed because it meant she had to hear her mother's mouth the second she got into the house, no matter how trivial the matter might actually have been. Sienna even tried to wrack her brain for an answer as to what her mother could possibly be pissed about now, but she was off the elevator and soon pressed against Vincent and, well...she was a teenage girl still. All thoughts left her brain the second his lips connected with hers.

Whatever worries she might have had about being seen with his family, whatever response she might have been ready to give Piper or even her sister were pushed into the back of her mind as Sienna positively melted against him. But, evenutally he pulled away and she pouted a bit, wrapped her arms around his neck comfortably as Vincent tried to basically convince her to leave. Her mouth morphed into a Cheshire grin, a giggle tumbling forth from her lips. "Don't be so dramatic. I'm sure they're not as bad as you think," she told him. "Trust me, it'd be an entirely different story if my Mom was here. I wouldn't even suggest getting back on this elevator. We would've already left the state by now." It didn't matter to her that they were still in the foyer and that she was not aware of the many other guests that would have been present, or coming, and so it was to Sienna's great surprise to see Brent Barclay appear from the elevator next. In her mind, he wasn't even relevant enough to be walking around the schools declaring that Sienna and Vincent were back together. The students would think his ass was high.

Again.

As Brent would probably tell it, they weren't close and Sienna didn't see herself changing that little fact any time soon. She didn't get good vibes from him nor did she trust him. She thought he was hot enough to be a quick fuck for Charlotte maybe, since that seemed to be the rumor everyone was fixated on, but other than that? Honestly, he was just a bad seed. He never seemed like he cared about school or anyone, to be honest. And Sienna had heard that his name had been in the video back at the charity event...something about his mom?? She didn't know. All she knew was that she didn't trust him, he was friends with Kelley, and if she knew that he was the one who gave Jane drugs, she'd probably have his ass arrested already. Or at least had kicked him where the sun didn't shine.

Sienna hummed at Brent's question, uncertain, before turning to Vincent. "Do you know where your cousin is, babe?" She asked quietly, only taking her gaze off of Vincent's face because her phone buzzed again in its silent mode to alert her to a second text from Piper.

(Collab with Writer)
Vincent couldn't help but chuckle at Sienna's comment about what it would be like if her mother was there too. "Nah, I think it'd be better if your mom was here. At least there would be someone here to distract my mom. Right now she's with Kell--" he stopped mid-sentence when he spotted Brent approaching from behind Sienna. Kelley had mentioned that he was inviting her, so Vincent wasn't shocked to see him, but he still tugged Sienna a little bit closer, just at the sight of him. He didn't think that Brent was actually dangerous, but he was definitely shady. There were a fair amount of guys at Saint Jude's who smoked weed and some used other drugs, but it was different from Brent who sold drugs. That seemed like more of a crime, and besides, Brent wasn't one of them. He was broke, he always wore the same clothes, and he just wasn't someone who was accepted in this crowd, even as a wannabe. Vincent didn't think of himself as being a snob, but he didn't think Brent was worth his time, and he flashed him an annoyed look, not for only interrupting his time with Sienna, but for just approaching him in general. "Kelley? Uh, she's somewhere upstairs probably. I don't know, you can go look around." He didn't wait to see or hear Brent's next move, and instead, readjusted the smile on his face as he focused back on Sienna. "Are you sure you don't want to sneak out of here before my mom sees us? Last chance," he offered, his tone playful though he was still completely serious in wanting to leave himself.

"Finally! Get the fuck over here, I think my mom is coming!" Kelley said, grabbing Brent by the collar of his shirt and pressing her face to his. She kept her eyes closed for a few seconds, but opened them a moment later when she realized that she hadn't heard a disgusted shriek coming from the other side of the room. With her lips still pressed to Brent's, she quickly glanced around as much as the position allowed for, before pulling away from him. "Damn, I guess that wasn't her, but don't worry; there's going to be plenty of that tonight."

Kelley had come out of nowhere, and like the couple that emerged from the elevator during Kelley and Brent's make out session, Vincent flashed an equally disapproving glance in their direction. He and Sienna had just been kissing, but it was different. For one, Sienna was his girlfriend, despite few people knowing that, and secondly, he and Sienna were civilized people. Brent was complete trash, and honestly, Kelley associating herself with him in such a physical manner didn't leave her looking much more classy than he. Vincent wasn't protective of Kelley like he would be a sister, mostly because he was just way too used to her being known as a tease for him to think intervening would do good anything. Still, he didn't appreciate the sight of Brent's hands gripping the blonde below the waist, or pulling her in closer. He shook his head without even noticing what he was doing, and though he wanted to shoot a comment to Kelley about whether that PDA was really necessary or not, he resisted. It wasn't worth it. "Let's get a drink. If we're staying, we're going to need it," he said, wrapping an arm around Sienna's waist as he stepped past Kelley and Brent.

"No, no, no. You're really not going to even introduce Brent and I to your girlfriend?" Kelley released Brent to step in front of the real couple. She was grinning provocatively as she extended a hand to Sienna. "Welcome back to the family, chica! I'm glad that you and my son were able to work things out." Half of the time, Kelley didn't know what she was getting at either when she allowed herself to verbalize every nonsensical thought that crossed her mind, and this time was no different. "We're going to double date tonight! You and I will be one couple, and Vincent and Brent will be another," she exclaimed, slipping her arm around the other side of Sienna's waist to mirror Vincent.

Sienna was the first of the two to respond to him, but she only redirected the question to Vincent, who barely removed his eyes from Sienna to acknowledge Brent for a second. "Alright, thanks man. Hey, you two need a condom?" he rustled through his pocket and pulled one out. "Ah, forget it. I've only got one on me, and I'm gonna need it tonight." He wasn't dumb or as socially unequipped as people brushed him off as being, so he definitely sensed that he was overstaying his welcome with the duo. It didn't bother him though, and it was apparent through the relaxed smirk on his face, and his body language as he nonchalantly leaned against the wall beside them. Brent was being serious, but if either of them doubted it, Kelley showed up, seemingly out of nowhere, and physically suggested that that condom might be put to use sooner than later.

Getting to make out with a hot, wealthy blonde was always something to smile about, but when she was the one initiating it, it was hard for Brent to not break out in a grin while her face was pressed to his. It didn't matter that she was only doing it because she thought she would be able to get a reaction out of her mother, and Brent didn't care that she saw him as being classless enough to disgust her mother. He didn't care what some old, rich bitch thought of him, especially not when her daughter was as carnal as Kelley. "Hello to you too," he said with a light chuckle as she pulled away and snapped about how her mother hadn't actually been around to see. Again, he wasn't bothered by the stark contrast between the genuine and romantic air between Sienna and Vincent and whatever he and Kelley had. He didn't want a real relationship, and it seemed like he had secured every man's dream by finding a hot chick who didn't want that either.

For better or for worse, Kelley wasn't just a hot blonde, though. She was surprisingly very intelligent, something that he had only discovered last year when she gave him physical proof of her getting close to a perfect score on her SAT exam. You would never know it, though. Even he, who knew her very well, struggled to understand how her mind worked, especially at times like this. She was eccentric, unpredictable, and sometimes too wild for even him to follow. Now was one of those times. Brent was very to spend his evening with the Hadley's, but only because he was sure the food was going to be good, and he could probably get away with smuggling a bottle of vodka out of their fully-stocked pantry. Hanging out with a girl as hot as Sienna wasn't an offer that he would normally want to squash either, but Brent could tell that she and Vincent didn't want to hang out with him. It was fun to push buttons sometimes, but Brent didn't need to hang out with some upright rich kids all night when he and Kelley could just sneak up to the rooftop patio and enjoy an evening of sex, weed and alcohol, while taking a short break for dinner.

As he waited to see how Kelley's cousin would respond to her antics, he checked his phone and found a message from Piper, telling him to call her as soon as possible. He guessed it had to do with the text about not having Jane's pills. He didn't really want to discuss that over the phone with Piper, because he'd be forced to give her an explanation, and he wasn't going to admit that he was purposely withholding them because Tori instructed him to do so. "I'm going to run to the bathroom, but I'll come find you guys in a minute. Don't pull a reverse-Vincent and hookup with Sienna while I'm gone," he snickered as he headed down the hallway blindly. He had been in Kelley's house before, but not enough that he knew the layout. It took him a few minutes before he found an upstairs bathroom that was vacant, and after locking the door, he called Piper.

Sienna could only find it in herself to laugh again when Vincent tried, once more, to convince her to leave the party with him. "Nope, sorry, we're stuck here. At least until we get free food." She told him and kissed him just before Kelley came over. Sienna quickly smiled for the blonde, not exactly put off at seeing her. Though, she was taken aback upon the very much public display of...affection? Did this count as genuine affection? Were Brent and Kelley actually dating?

Unlike Vincent and maybe because Sienna didn't have prior knowledge of their display being a rouse, Sienna was not hesitant in expresing a bit of shock at Kelley being so bold with Brent. Especially considering the fact that the rumor about him and Charlotte had barely come out a week ago! Surely, it was enough of a little tidbit for her to file into the back of her mind for later, when she was possibly with Piper or even seeing if Jane had any ideas. She could consider them cute, after all, since when had anyone seen Kelley with someone? And she didn't necessarily have a problem with them together since the most Sienna had ever really seen Brent was when he was with Kelley. She choked back a small giggle at Vincent's desire for a drink, but then Kelley cut in.

However, only a second after Kelley had spoken and Sienna actually reacted, eyes widened at the fact that Kelley knew...too? Surely she shouldn't have been too surprised that Vincent confided in family, but still...the request had been to not tell anyone, right? But of course, Sienna was a New York socialite and even she could choke out a laugh, which technically wasn't that hard of a feat since Kelley did manage to entertain her on the nights the two winded up in the same vicinity. And she was more than welcoming when Kelley linked arms with her, grinning back at the blonde before calling after Brent when he left. "Careful there, Barclay. Don't come back and I might try to steal yo girl." She joked and then glanced back at Vincent, still with a smile on her face before looking back to Kelley. "Also am a bit surprised the jig is up on Vince and I. How long until he caved?"

Despite being in the middle of a conversation, Sienna still didn't hesitate to at least glance at her phone when it buzzed and frowned only for a milisecond. It took a moment's hesitation for her type out a response, but she found no reason to pretend like she hadn't just read the message or seen who it had come from.

"The bitch told me without me even asking!" Kelley exclaimed before Vincent could explain himself. What she was saying wasn't completely true. It wasn't like Kelley was his confidant, someone he entrusted his most important secrets with, but he didn't really think that Sienna meant that they couldn't tell anyway. At least, he didn't think that family was included in that no one. She had surely told Esme, and he assumed one or two of her close friends as well. She couldn't be bothered that he had told Kelley, right? It wasn't like Kelley was actually going to tell anyone. "I might as well be in between you two in bed, that's how much I know about your relationship!" Okay, that was probably why he shouldn't have told her.

"Kelley!" Vincent snapped. He was used to Kelley's lack of filter but when it was directed at him, and more importantly in front of Sienna, someone he wanted to impress, he didn't appreciate it. Vincent was racking his brain for an explanation but his cousin didn't miss a beat in her step as she continued walking with Sienna linked by her arm. He planned on following them, but decided to take a minute to breath in the foyer before returning to Kelley and his mom. Tonight was definitely going to be something interesting, but Vincent should have known better than to expect anything less with his family. He still just hoped that Sienna knew what she was getting herself into.

"Come smoke with Brent and I later on the roof. We have sooo much catching up to do and it's so hard to do it with this guy third wheeling," she complained, motioning her heads backwards to where she thought Vincent was still following them. "I invited Lottie over too, since I know she loves Brent, but the bitch said no! That girl is legit crazy!!!" Kelley continued as she led Sienna through her house effortlessly. She hoped that she didn't run into her mother or sister now, but only because she would actually look good walking around with an Alvarez child. While Colette was much closer with the family than Kelley's was, every influential family in Manhattan crossed paths every so often, and the Hadley parents always spoke highly of the Alvarez family. As she spoke, she turned into the kitchen, ignoring the house staff that were working in there as she headed towards the liquor cabinet. "Have you had cotton candy vodka? This shit is to die for, I'm telling you. Take a shot with me, it's amazing."

What was originally supposed to be a thirty second break to gather his thoughts and patience turned into him leaning against the wall of the foyer for a good two minutes as he scrolled through his phone. When he realized that he needed to save Sienna from Kelley, he quicker stuffed his phone into his pocket, but before he took a few steps, he was met by an all too familiar voice. "Vincent! Find your coat! We're leaving right now!" His mother caught him before he could turn the corner down the hallway, and he was caught off guard by the shrillness of her voice. It wasn't uncommon, especially at family functions, but he just didn't expect it to happen this early into the night.

"Why, what's going on?" He asked, saying a quick prayer that his mother hadn't gotten into a fight with Rachel and made a fool out of herself. A drunk Colette always led to an emotional and impulsive Colette, but a drunk Colette seemed to be the only version of Colette that ever appeared around her sister.

"Is she kidding me?! I come all the way out here from the island, buy a new Dior gown just for this, and she decides to seat me at the end of the table, between the Shepards and the Ericksons? She knows that I despite Margaret and how Sharon won't stop talking about how strong she is for 'beating breast cancer twice'. Of course she would seat me there! Of all of the seats at that table, she would seat me there! Unbelievable! As if I'm a second class citizen, as usual! Where's your father, Vincent? I am leaving right now!"

"Mom, chill out! It's not a big deal, I don't think it's that personal. I'm sure she's not going to want Kelley to sit at that table with the guy she brought. Why don't you and dad just take their seats? I doubt Aunt Rachel will mind."

"Oh please, Vincent. You sound just like your father. Of course it's personal! This is my sister that we're talking about! Everything she does is a cold, calculated attack on me! Ever since I was four years old, she's been out to get me when-"

"I know, I know, she 'purposely' put gum in your hair so that you ended up with a bowl cut. You can't just go home, though, mom. Look, why don't you just sit in the kitchen with Sienna and Kelley and Brent and I? We'll act like we're doing her a favor by keeping Kelley and Brent away from her friends, but it'll really just be our way of avoiding those people you don't like." He hoped Colette would go for the idea, because he was sure the first course of the meal would be served soon and he didn't want her to make this big of a scene as everyone started to make their way into the dining room. The devilish side of him wanted his mother to go, and even to take him with her, so that he and Sienna would have an excuse to go back to his place for some "Netflix and chil" but calming his mother down seemed like the more responsible thing to do right now.

Despite his family being embarrassing and clingy, Vincent managed to have a good night with Sienna. He was thankful for her, more than anything. There were times when he felt like she was so dramatic and sensitive (despite it usually being justified), but the past night was all he needed to remind him that she was perfect. Flaws and all, she was the perfect complement to his character. She was able to handle every ridiculous comment that Kelley threw at her, and entertained his distraught mother until it was acceptable for them to all leave. She was so composed, and so beautiful, and so full of energy, and once that set in, he was able to relax. The night wouldn't go down as one of the best of his life, but he was happy to be with her, and happy that things were finally falling back into place. Leave it to Vincent, to ruin it, though.

Dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana suit with Christian Louboutin shoes, Vincent was feeling good when he got to Connor's apartment to pregame for Piper's party. He was on a good streak with Sienna and excited to see her tonight, even if they were still going to keep their official status of boyfriend and girlfriend under wraps. His good mood translated into confidence turned cockiness, and excitement turned impulsiveness, so by seven at night, Vincent was already testing his body's limits with the alcohol. After some normal conversation over the French food they ordered in, the obnoxious, alcohol-induced side of Vincent started to rear its head. "So... Tori Walsh... I mean, I can't shit on you for that choice, bro. She's got that badass look to her, like she could be a movie villain, but not really. I think it's her eyes or something. They just give her that bitch look, but the hot bitch look, you know what I mean?"

"It wasn't exactly a choice. I told you, Sydney kind of... sprung it on the both of us yesterday."

"Or maybe she just sprung it on you. Maybe Cruella de Vil's daughter had a thing for you all this time, and Sydney played wingman for her."

"I don't think so, but I guess it's possible..."

"Well, look at it this way, dude - there was no way in hell that you were gonna land Sydney, so you should just be happy that you're gonna get to hit something tonight," he cut in, finishing the statement with a chuckle that came out just as condescendingly as he planned for it to be.

"I still can't believe that Sydney fell for the BS that comes out of your mouth. I love Sienna, so the idea of her making that up and being behind that post still doesn't make sense, but come on, you didn't actually sleep with her, right?"

"'BS'? Damn straight I slept with her! Harkins, your basically-virgin-ass cannot be here, seriously critiquing me and my style. I could get her, Sienna, Charlotte and your Voldemort-vibing girl in a single night. You got to, what? Third base with Jane Lynch? A girl who was the definition of white girl wasted at every party we were at last year... and you only got to third base with her?"

"Sorry, rape doesn't really turn me on," Connor replied defensively. His sexual record wasn't something that he was exactly proud of. Aside from a bathroom quickie with a girl he had met at a club during Vincent's last birthday celebration, Connor had never slept with anyone. He only counted that time when he was trying to justify himself to his guy friends, because being a virgin was more embarrassing than admitting that the didn't even know the name of the girl he had sex with that night. While nameless sex like that was definitely easier than actually getting somewhere with people he cared about, he didn't really want that. He wasn't like Vincent or Ricardo, where he could woo every girl he crossed paths with, so if he had to put effort in to begin with, he wanted to do it with people who actually mattered. "You should stop drinking though, dude. You're already being a dick, which means that at this rate, you'll be passed out before we even get to the party." Comparing the two, Vincent could definitely hold his liquor better than Connor, but at the same time, Connor rarely ever drank enough to feel more than a buzz. After going through a couple of bottles of beer, and at least two Jack and Coke's, Connor knew that Vincent was going to go overboard tonight. He hoped that maybe he'd take the hint and chill out, but a drunk Vincent was an obnoxious Vincent, and honestly, a person that Connor didn't want to be hanging out with.

"This is why I need Rick here. You're always such a fucking downer, man. You're literally a complete bitch, you haven't even finished one fucking beer." He reached across the counter and shook the half-full bottle of Budweiser that Connor had opened up when he first got there. "If you've actually got balls, you'd sleep with someone tonight. I don't care who the fuck it is, but you better score one of them tonight,"[/color] he continued, only setting the beer back down when he decided to text Ricardo. He really felt like Connor was bringing down his mood, and it was time for their friend to finally make his appearance.

To: Rick
Where the hell r u? the virgin mary over here is bringing down my vibes. u gonna bring the limo so we can pick up the girls in a little or what?

After the escapade with Vincent's family, particularly remembering that Kelley was actually fun and that Sienna would probably like her a lot more if they hung out more, Sienna had left feeling satisfied. She got to spend time with Vincent, distracted Colette enough for them to both have a good time, and even got the chance to talk with a few classmates. Naturally, her first choice wouldn't have been to talk about the gossip blog and hear people's pity about Vincent sleeping with Sydney, but Sienna hurried and dispelled the conversation so that she could turn it to something a bit more fun. Overall, she had enjoyed her night. Which was saying a lot considering all that occurred the next day.

Despite her plans to have the girls over for the whole enchilada, Cynthia had already planned most of Sienna's day without telling her. Which resulted in a long argument that made Sienna's head hurt just thinking about it. Which prompted her, when she finally returned home to see Esmee entertaining her guests, to politely take that watermelon mimosa back like it was a shot. Instead of going to school, Sienna spent the majority of her morning in the recording studio to work on her EP plus a project with Ryan Leslie for an upcoming song. Not that she minded since he had helped with her debut album, but it was definitely a surprise to herself not alone in the isolation booth. Afterwards, they worked on sound editing and all that good stuff, which took up the majority of her day. By the time 2 pm rolled around, Sienna was being shoved into the outfit she has yet to take off for an interview with one of the top radio stations in New York.

So, when she had actually gotten home to see people she liked and all that good stuff, Sienna had actually walked in at around the same time Sydney did. Which prompted another mimosa. The two weren't...at odds, but it definitely seemed that way to the other girls and Sienna would gladly accept the blame for that. She hadn't thought too ahead when deciding to extend her invitation with Sydney and while she danced around with the other girls and sung their favorite songs while deciding on nails and hair, the tension was still palpable to her. And Sienna only had so much energy in the world to ignore it before it became clear that the two needed to leave the group. That idea was made after sending a few texts out to friends.

To: J

To: Vincent
Well it's a good thing what I'm not wearing under this dress, huh?

Once those were sent, Sienna shared a look with Esmee, who allowed the distraction in the midst of her massage. Sienna's nails had finished drying some time ago and her last shower was an hour ago, so all she needed to do was get dressed and return for makeup and hair. Slipping back on her heels, Sienna stood, meeting Sydney's eyes from across the room. "Alright, lovelies! You all are looking fabulous as always!! Be back in a jiffy!" Most of the girls were popular enough, not unfamiliar faces. A few were her dancers who happened to also attend the same school, but they wouldn't be people Jane and Sydney would not have known. Sienna hadn't been that rude. Her eyes also landed on both Piper and Charlotte before flitting over to Tori, a slower smile appearing on her face before she began moving. As she started walking, she beckoned Sydney with a small nod before proceeding to ascend the stairs.

Despite what they had discussed, Sydney had not, in fact, messaged Sienna at all. Which didn't necessarily hurt or bother Sienna since she hadn't even checked her phone again until after she had left Vincent. And honestly, she didn't even know how that conversation would have went. Would they have argued? Would Sydney have claimed to not believe her? Would one of them have hung up on the other? She didn't know and as Sienna opened the door to massive closet, she didn't know how this conversation was going to go. But she had chosen the closet just for more privacy since it was considered another room and perched herself demurely on the chaise lounge her father had gotten installed in the room, lithe legs crossing as she finally allowed herself to meet Sydney's gaze again. "Sooo...where do you want me to start?"

Ricardo Slim-Helรบ was one of the most elusive kings St. Jude's had ever had and well, he honestly never could go a week without living up to that reputation. Despite how much he did, in fact, enjoy being with his friends and having front row tickets to the drama of the Upper East Side, he was still privy to running to random places around the globe, such as attending a pool party in Monte Carlo hosted by the son of one of his father's business associates. A trip that prompted him to miss school earlier in the day and only arrive back to his own home nearly two hours ago. So, when he received Vincent's text (and Ric could only imagine the intoxication level his friend had to be on because the tone was discernible), he was actually just finished getting dressed.

"Dorota, I'm heading out now. Make sure that Felipe actually eats something and at least makes it to the toilet before he ruins the Egyptian cotton," the UES king stated as he exited his bedroom, in the process of sending out a few texts to a few people. Felipe hadn't returned home yet and was still staying with Ric, which would have been fine had the socialite actually cared enough about his brother to want to entertain him. Carlos had forced him to bring his sibling along and Ric had done so begrudgingly, drinking enough vodka so that the very image of his brother didn't make him to want to choke the older man. Soon, RIc was downstairs and getting to his limo, making sure that the second one was on standby. He remembered how Sienna was during these kinds of parties, where she would be that girl willing to wear a princess-styled gown just because she knew she could.

To: Connor

Even if she wanted to, Sienna couldn't fight the warmth that spread in her chest nor the smile that played on the corners of her mouth. She shouldn't have been as happy as she did that Sydney even remotely believed her or that they were possibly in this together, but here she was. A bit overwhelmed by that little fact and nodded carefully, trying her hardest not to let that smile be as big as it wanted to be.

"Y-yeah, ok. Sure. I will. And...thanks," she said, playing with the handles of the doors before opening them again, glancing over her shoulder at Sydney. "For believing me, thanks. And, you don't have to say anything back, but...I...kinda have missed you, Syd." Sienna didn't allow herself to push for more, remembering that it was Piper's night to throw a bomb ass party and that she didn't need any tears. She wanted to have fun and yeah, she was probably going to be side-eyeing Tori for the rest of the night but she wanted to at least go back to enjoying herself. So, she turned away and headed back into the bedroom while still talking to Sydney. "I forgot where you put your stuff, but I'm changing up here. You can use the closet. I'm gonna text J to come up here...just because."

To: J
She won't kill u, promise. Come upstairs. Need 2 put on my gown b4 hair & makeup gets done ;p

To: Carrie

Once those texts were sent, she also sent a few to the other girls whom she knew were leaving before them to go with dates and such. There were always those large number of students who went ahead of everyone else and honestly, Sienna loved those people. The vain girl in her liked being able to make an entrance and she very well couldn't make a proper entrance if there was no one already waiting for her. Back in the comfort of her room, Sienna kicked the Louboutins off her feet and under her bed, plugged up her phone and then proceeded to stand behind the privacy screen she had gotten installed in her room some time ago. Katherine had already set up her mannequin with the dress for the evening and her jewelry was already laid out on her vanity.

After getting the clothing she had barely had time to really rest in off, Sienna went without wearing a bra and found the nipple coverings Katherine had left behind. The bodice of the Matthew Williamson halter gown from his summer 2015 collection was very fitted since the model originally used was definitely skinnier than Sienna, resulting in a nice push-up effect for her boobs. Not that she complained. She had hated the thought of having to wear a bra with it and was definitely not against it. She also went for the lace thong Cynthia would probably slap her for owning, and then slid the masterpiece over her body. She loved the cut-outs along the sides, revealing just only a tease of her trim sides and flat tummy, and also the reveal of her back. Plus, the center front split was a sexy surprise when she walked. It was a nice fit but also required zipping at the back. However, after careful maneuvering (especially considering her nails) and stretching, she was donning the relaxed yet sensuously glamorous gown. Once that was done, Sienna emerged from behind the screen to slip into her heels before going to the vanity to put on her jewelry, noting the mask that awaited her as well.

It didn't take particularly long for Rick to get to Connor's place. Traffic flow was still considerably heavy since it was a Friday night and he knew that a good number of students, even a few not from either St. Jude's or Constance, would be attending Piper Vine's masquerade ball. It was an event hosted by one of the most popular girls on the Upper East Side. Whether or not you were a student at the two respectable schools was irrelevant. You were going, one way or another. Or your life was simply boring. Still, luckily for him, his driver knew the back-ways and hidden corners to cut that enabled him to reach his friend's home in fifteen minutes.

It didn't take him long to gain access inside and before long, the king of St. Jude's was walking into the room his two friends were occupying with the typical swagger in his walk and a smirk on his lips. "I see you two have started the party without me," he exclaimed with amusement, recalling the text he had received from Vincent. Rick could only guess, with the glasses on the table, that the two guys had definitely started enjoying themselves. He also could only guess how much trouble Vincent planned to get himself into and the thought alone caused his eyebrow to twitch with interest. Of course, Rick himself planned to enjoy the night, but there was something about one of his friends being drunk and reckless that entertained him. After all, it was the simple things in life that made him happy. Good sex. Great food. Drunk people. Yep, the simple things.

"But, first thing's first, Harkins," he exclaimed decidedly, plopping down on one of the chairs and pointing a finger directly at Connor. "I was expecting you to ask Sydney. Hell, maybe even our own Madam President, but Victoria Walsh? Now, that's just not like you. You usually bounce between two blondes...like your friend over here." Rick gave a pointed nod to Vincent's direction before returning his imploring yet playful gaze back to Connor. "Don't tell you're trying for an easier conquest, my friend. I thought you liked the chase?"

Connor had went upstairs to retrieve his mask, hoping that a few minutes without Vincent might make him less tense and nervous for the night ahead of him. Just as he returned to the kitchen, Rick also walked in, and Connor was strangely relieved to see him. Normally, Vincent and Ricardo could be a bit of a powerhouse that could team up against him. He'd feel pressured into drinking more, or talking to more girls, when they were around, because it was what they were good at, and he didn't want to be that one awkward friend that could do neither. That was probably going to be true again tonight, and Connor expected Rick to be just as curious as Vincent regarding his date, but at least Ricardo could handle a drunk Vincent. He had probably seen him like this many times, and Ricardo was better at entertaining it than Connor was. He was always so relaxed and cool, that Connor had no doubts that he was the person King of St. Jude's. It always seemed like he had control over whatever situation he was in, and while Connor frequently turned into a punching-bag type figure when Vincent was this drunk, Ricardo never did. "I wouldn't call it a party," Connor muttered as he took some of the empty beer bottles from the counter and carried them to the trash.

"I should get an award for still being in a good mood after spending the night with this buzzkill," Vincent chimed in, lifting his Jack and Coke in the air in a makeshift wave to acknowledge Rick. His phone vibrated against the counter, and Vincent couldn't hide the smirk that formed on his face. His mind was quickly filled with thoughts that were definitely X-rated, and now, not even boring Connor could kill his vibes. Realizing how lucky he was to have such a hot girlfriend sobered him up a tiny bit, but it was just momentary as he typed out a response.

To: Sienna
IDK HOW TO EVEN RESPOND TO THAT........ BE THERE SOON

Connor only rolled his eyes, nodding towards the fridge as he put the empty bottles in the trash. "There are beers in there if you want," he offered to Ricardo, although he was sure his friend would help himself if he wanted it, anyway. He followed Rick back towards the chairs and returned to his own. He knew that the conversation was going to lead back to him and his love life at some point, but after just hearing about it from Vincent, he didn't really care to talk about it again. "Sydney would never say yes to me," was Connor's first answer, as he reached out for the barely-consumed beer in front of him. "And I was going to ask Charlotte, but Syd didn't think it was a good idea, so she suggested Victoria. Unlike you two, I'm not really looking for a 'conquest' at all, and I don't even know Tori well, so I doubt it'll get that far tonight." He shrugged, trying to be nonchalant about it, before finding that Tori had sent him a text. He wasn't going to announce that now, especially with the criticism he was getting, so he texted her back discreetly, while also answering Leon's text.

To: Victoria
Hey! I'm excited too :). It should be fun!

To: Leon
The guys and I are leaving in 5-10 minutes, so I'd say you're safe to go whenever. I'd offer to pick you up, but Vincent is wasted and I don't want to subject you to that lol.

"With your track record, I doubt it'll get that far in the next five years," Vincent jumped in. "Trust me, Rick, I've spent the last hour trying to figure this out too. He's known Syd for his whole fucking life, and he let his brother tap that before he did, and then he's got Charlotte-let-me-fuck-you-Buchanan drooling over him and he chooses Victoria Walsh? She's got a cool vibe to her, but not the kinda vibe that'll mesh right with a bitch like you, Harkins," he continued, shaking his head at the thought. As he downed the rest of his drink, he grabbed his mask from beside him and fastened it around his head, before standing up. "I'm ready to get laid, and my girl's going commando tonight, so let's head out, boys," Vincent declared. He was normally vocal and sexual, but this was probably pushing it. It was just how he got when he was drunk, though. He would become obnoxious and lose his filters, and while he always felt invincible while on that high, he tended to say and do things that he regretted come the following morning.

When Sydney stepped back out of the closet, Sienna was nodding her head in agreement to the text the blonde had sent and scooped her black embroidered clutch. She had set it down when Jane first entered the bedroom and honestly would have forgotten it had she not turned back around to make sure she had everything she needed.

Sienna giggled good-naturedly at Jane's exclamation and linked arms with her favorite brunette when Sydney stepped in front of them and was the first to leave the room. Some things never change, Sienna found herself thinking with a wry smirk. It was surprisingly easy for them to fall back into this pattern - natural, comfortable. Sienna didn't know what she had been looking for when being alone with Jane and Sydney, since she wouldn't have been surprised if that had ever been a part of Jane's plans to get her friends back together, but if she expected the worst case scenario, this definitely wasn't it. And maybe it was because she and Sydney were thinking about someone other than themselves and their problems. She couldn't even tell, the point was that as they exited her bedroom and she quickly shut off the lights before shutting the door behind them, she had to admit...she liked this.

She damn sure didn't like Jane's lies, but that was another story.

Which was why, for once, she didn't flinch when Sydney brought up Vincent. In fact, as the girls walked in the hallway, Sienna had allowed herself a chance to glance back at her phone and almost laughed aloud. She had to cloud that look over with a smirk, but her mirth might have been obvious when she met both Jane and Sydney's expectant stares. Especially after Jane practically demanded that she be over him already. The questioning forced her to sober up and Sienna hummed thoughtfully before replying, "Definitely think he's not sober, if that means anything." And it did mean a lot, especially for Sienna. Not just because he might say the wrong (or right, depending on who's involved) thing, but because...Vincent was two different ways when he was drunk. Sometimes one after the other, but always two different ways.

Rowdy and crass Vincent who was basically the regular Vincent that everyone else knew but with barely any filters. Again, he was almost himself but if he didn't have any filters not being drunk, his filters were definitely out the window at this point. Which meant trouble for Sienna if he didn't know how to keep his words (or hands) to himself in a crowded space. The other side was one that (as far as she was aware) only Sienna knew about, the one who would pitifully text her random phrases of i miss u and i still love you and plz don't hate me 4ever. The one who was super affectionate and practically needy and tore down at whatever invincible walls Sienna swore she had set up for the night when trying to take him home. Either way she put it, she was kinda screwed. Both literally since she was sure that was on Vincent's mind, and figuratively...considering what was on Vincent's mind.

Which was why a little bit of vague honesty seemed like the right move. "Ummm...it's a bit more...complicated than that," she answered, choosing at that moment to play with the ends of her hair. No matter what she did, that was always going to be Sienna's tell. "It's honestly a long pillow talk with lots and lots of wine, and me not in Giuseppe Zanotti." That explanation felt better and though she was feeling a bit uncomfortable, she made sure to address one small thing. Her words were originally directed towards Jane, but she firmly glanced at Sydney when stating resolutely, "But...if it does come down to it, you'll be the first to know." And Sydney would be. That had been her plan. Sienna couldn't have controlled Kelley even if she wanted to and she still had a bone to pick with Vincent for telling all of his family, but she was going to play her part. And tell Sydney when it came down to it. For now, she had guests.

When the trio descended the stairs (and when was the last time anyone had seen them do this?), Sienna noted that the girls gone were the same ones who text her. Girls from the dance studio Constance had a partnership with, her sister and friends (which sucked cuz Sienna hadn't gotten the chance to take pics) a few she had dinner with once before, Piper...Carolina. That caused a frown to form...but Sienna noted the remaining, including Rose, Charlotte...Tori. Sienna only glanced for a moment at Sydney before smiling at the group, particularly Charlotte.

"Look at my flawless Madam President slaying the Cinderella game," she exclaimed excitedly, taking in Charlotte's white gown and what she had done to her hair. She stepped closer to the blonde at that moment, murmuring low and teasingly, "Tryna' make Harkins eat his heart out?" She winked at the blonde playfully before being snatched up by a classmate. In particular, one of her back-up dancers, Katie. Who was always a fashion buff. "So, first of all, you abandon us only to come out as squad goals," Katie started with a playfully accusatory tone, but then eyes Sienna hungrily. Or, more her dress hungrily. "And then you come out with a dress that hasn't even hit the runway yet!? Matthew Williamson?" Sienna only grinned, pulling herself from the brunette's grip and heading over to the bar set up in the room to grab the champagne from the fridge. "The one and only," she replied with a grin and started getting glasses out. "So, obvi it's almost about that time, but one last toast to one of the best nights ever is the last thing on my agenda. Ladies, grab a glass. Not one person in this room better have a glass of water."

Rick only smirked at the expression on Connor's face as he set to attempting to clean up and decidedly stared at Vincent when the guy took another swig of alcohol. Ric and Vincent had a pecular relationship at times, particularly when Vincent was drunk. On one hand, Ric might choose to join the other athlete in his i-don't-give-a-fuck attitude and just go all out. Other times...Vincent was simply entertainment. Maybe it said something about Ricardo for having everyone who surrounded him be of some entertainment value, he didn't know, but his friend was...amusing during these times. Connor might have thought Ric's control was easy when it came to their friend and in a sense, it was...but there were other moments. Ones he wasn't even sure Connor knew about...like when Vincent would be real honest of all a sudden about how he really felt about Sienna. Those were his most entertaining.

"I don't know, man," he said, chuckling at the face his friend made from reading some text on his phone. "I don't know who should get an award...you for managing to be drunk before we even get to the party, or Connor for having the patience of a saint. How many Jack and cokes did you have?" It left him laughing again.

As Connor explained his situation, Ric narrowed his eyes slightly, but did not say anything. And almost didn't when Vincent decided to chime in. And maybe that had to do with Sydney texting him in the middle of Connor speaking, resulting in Ricardo splitting his attention between his friend and his phone. He smirked at her response, at how quick she was to the draw.

To: Sydney
Evry man's a dreamer at his core. Takes only the beautiful 2 bring it out

To: Sydney
Leaving now

"Yeah, let's. The girls are ready anyway." Ricardo replied distractedly. Just as he slid his phone back into his pocket, Rick caught wind of...what did Vincent just say? Yeah, his friend had said it was time to go and Rick would have done the same if he had been quicker, but...what? Did he say...girlfriend? Rick glanced at Connor only momentarily before a slow smirk slid across his face, eyes twinkling with mischief. And this was why he loved a drunk Vincent. Instead of attacking his friend head-on for his admittance, Ricardo turned to Connor purposefully as the trio headed out, clapping a hand on the nice guy's shoulder. "Not gonna tell you what to do, but I'll tell you like I told the drunk asshat over there. Your girl's not gonna wait forever." He hummed thoughtfully for a moment before continuing, "Dude, I won't even lie to you and tell you that you had a chance with Sydney. Because you didn't, let's just be honest. But Buchanan...? Let's just say that you can follow Sydney's orders all you want, but someone else will be all over Buchanan at some point tonight when we both know you wanna be. So, you decide. Let someone else come after your girl or go get her yourself. Your choice." Rick left it at that. He didn't know Victoria Walsh that much nor cared about her at all, but he did like Charlotte. And if she was still nursing that crush on Connor, it was only a matter of time before his inaction caused her to lose it. Which prompted him to shoot her a text too. And Sienna too.

To: Sia
Ur boy toy's drunk

To: Madam President
U already kno who I'm talking about, but know that he doesn't want her. He's stupid

As soon as they got into the very spacious, twenty-seat limousine, Rick turned his full attention on Vincent. He relaxed in the back seat of the limousine, arms splayed out behind him on the seat rather comfortably. Hell, he probably looked harmless in this pose, legs crossed and a light smirk on his face. Except his eyes glinted in the dim lights of the limousine and when he felt the vehicle move, that was when he attacked. "But the real question of the night goes over to my man Vince over here," he stated, eyeing the athlete with a growing smirk. He glanced at Connor for a moment, regaling him with, "See, I asked him a while ago to go talk to Sia. You know, man up and square things away. But some people like dodging my questions and now..." Rick turned his full attention back to Vincent with an arched eyebrow. "And now, you've got a girl, Vince? Since when?"

The amount of Jack and Coke's that Vincent had didn't matter. He had lost count, for one, but he didn't think he needed to keep track. Tonight, he planned on letting lose. After the stressful evening he had had the day before, and the past week, he thought that he deserved a night of relaxation to celebrate his recent success. It probably wouldn't be apparent by his behavior tonight, but he was really content with himself for finally managing to win Sienna back. He told himself that it was the last time that he was ever going to need to do that, because this time around, he wasn't going to let her go. He knew that he had the best girl out there, so there was no need to ever think, want, or consider cheating. In the words of Morello, his favorite character on Orange is the New Black, that Kelley insisted he start watching, "You don't go Jessica Simpson when you've got Rihanna." Anyone else would be a downgrade from the girl he had now, because not only was Sienna physically perfect, but emotionally, she was the perfect girl for him too. They just clicked.

"Since when?" Vincent repeated, as if Ricardo's question was the most bizarre one in the world. The confused, almost astonished look on his face transformed into a more confident- no, cocky one as he leaned back in his seat, making himself comfortable before replying. "Since freshman year, dude. I never actually lost Sienna. I took some time off to collect some v-cards, and now I'm back. You've gotta settle down at some point, and you know, after taking her's and Sydney's, along with a bunch of girls whose names weren't important enough to stick, I think I'm good. I mean, if Harkins isn't gonna sleep with Charlotte, I'd be happy to add her to my list, but for now, I've got my girl back and life is pretty good." Vincent was being conceited and boastful, and it was a trait that occasionally landed him on the aggressive end of bar fights. Along with the rise in his blood alcohol content level, came a rise in his ego, which said a lot, considering his ego was pretty big at a sober level anyway. "But I think the real question of the night goes back to you, Rick. Which lucky lady are you going to be taking home tonight?"

To: Sienna
We're like a minute away. Come down. I saved a seat for u on my lap then there's room for jane and charlotte next to me ;)

Vincent didn't know where they actually were, but Connor didn't live far from Sienna, so the one minute estimate probably wasn't too far from off. The time accuracy was the last thing that would probably be the focal point of the text though. He was already being obnoxious, and he knew it, but he was too drunk to realize that things like that weren't appropriate to say to a girlfriend. He did, however, know better than to insist Sydney sit next to him. That was a level he wouldn't reach for a few more drinks.

Sydney had brought up Vincent to establish that she was still in control of the situation, in the way that she was now establishing that she was over it. She was going to move on from the animosity between them regarding Vincent, and if that meant acknowledging that Sienna still had a relationship with him, then so be it. She just wanted to do things on her terms, so she wasn't really prepared for Jane pressing further. Luckily, Sienna remained fairly tight-lipped, but Sydney was good at reading people, and she could tell that it probably wasn't as complicated as Sienna claimed. She still liked him, he still liked her, big fucking news. Rather than act bothered, though, Sydney just smiled when Sienna insisted they'd be the first to know.

If Sydney wasn't already feeling low on patience with Jane, she hit that point when the girl insinuated that she had something to apologize to Sienna about. Of course, Sydney did. She slept with Vincent, and yes, that was very wrong, but Sienna was the one who tried to destroy her image. Wasn't that worse? Sydney thought so, and it took a lot of restraint for her to not berate Jane right there. On the surface, it was annoying because Sydney didn't think she was wrong, but additionally, she disliked how Jane was on Sienna's side. Whether it was intentional or not, or whether Jane realized it or not, that line insisted that she was taking Sia's side. Sydney wanted to believe that now they could put all of it behind them, but that was too idealistic. She wasn't stupid, and while she was glad to be where she was with Sienna, she knew that that book wasn't closed for good. It did bother her, though, that after all of the convincing she had felt she had done with Jane, that the brunette was still siding with Sienna. Did she not understand how vicious Sienna had been when making that post... or when making Victoria make that post? Sydney wanted to snap, but she didn't. She only met Jane's curious, innocent and somewhat distracted glance with a longer, pensive look, before saying, "We worked things out." It didn't answer the question directly, but Sydney didn't even think that Jane was still listening, as a second later, she was handing her a glass of champagne and talking about getting drunk.

It was something that she knew would never happen, but with Jane just admitting that she used drugs, Sydney wanted to insist that her friend stop drinking all together as well. She had learned that conversing with Jane was impossible tonight, though, and she wasn't going to make a scene. No, Sydney was going to continue her act of seeming bored and disinterested in Sienna's party, and she'd keep it up at Piper's lackluster affair, until she snapped and confronted Tori, or Jane, or Brent. "Maybe," and a shrug was all that Sydney responded to the question with. She left it at that, because then Sienna was toasting to the night and Sydney kept her mouth shut. A minimal smile remained on her face as she raised her glass, and while she emptied it like the rest of them, she really had no intentions of getting drunk. There was a difference between hitting a level of being buzzed and getting drunk. The first was going to be necessary to survive the night, but the latter would be dangerous and unhealthy for her in more ways that one. Sydney didn't typically get drunk to a point where she was inebriated. It defied her need for control, and she found that being so out of control and all of over the place looked trashy in others, so she didn't want to look that way herself. It didn't fit the classy image that she strived for. Besides, even if she did want to get drunk, she couldn't do it with Jane, because Jane was going to get way too drunk, like always, and Sydney couldn't be that drunk at the same time if she was expected to take care of her friend.
