Vivien is half French, half Dutch, and caucasian. He was born and raised in America but his accent is a bit jumbled since the spirits he talks to on a regular basis don't have American accents. He sounds like a mix of British and Canadian, somehow.

Vivien's hair was naturally a pure white. The thing with white hair is that people always know it's natural, and they wonder why you've got such pale hair. It also makes your face look dreadfully redder than it actually is. After enough backhanded compliments from his mother about his red face, he dyed it a vibrant blue. Somehow, his hair doesn't grow out very much or very quickly so he rarely has to redye it, and generally keeps it the same length as his jawline, sometimes a bit longer. He cuts his own hair, and is very good at it, but is terrible with anyone else's hair. His hair falls into his face a lot, so he sometimes french braids it across his hairline to keep it neat, rather than the usual mess it can get itself into.
