turned his face away from her and smiled. Kaori could see his blush, and she again, found him to be quite adorable. "I-It's okay. I-I actually... liked it." Kaori sighed in relief and laughed slightly. She was so used to showing affection to people, especially when she's at home that it just came over her and he really looked like he needed it.
"That's great. Like I said; I couldn't help myself." She smiled and dusted herself off from grass and what nots from her skirt.
" If you don't mind, do you want to get something to eat. It's getting around that time for lunch I guess and I skipped breakfast this morning for the flight into town. It's okay if you don't want to though..."
She turned to him and felt her stomach growling lowly so yeah, food sounded pretty good about now.
"Of course I'd like to join you! You must me starving by now if you haven't had breakfast you poor sod." She laughed and grabbed her bag before she stood next to him. "I'm gonna let you pack up and when you're done, just lead the way."
She neatly placed her hands behind her back, waiting with her usual smile plastered on her face.

"Kylie Galen looked up from the slice of pepperoni pizza on the fine china plate and tried to ignore the ghost swinging the bloody sword right behind her grandfather and great-aunt. Her new found family members were … good people, but a tad on the proper side. And proper people probably wouldn't appreciate an uninvited ghost getting their dining room walls bloody.
The spirit, a female, dark flowing hair, in her early thirties, stopped in mid-swing and stared directly at Kylie. You kill or be killed. It’s really rather simple. The words reverberated in Kylie’s head. They were communicating telepathically, and considering the topic being discussed, that was probably for the best.
That’s not simple, Kylie shot back. And I’m trying to eat, so would you mind leaving?
That’s rude, the ghost said. You’re supposed to help spirits. You need to abide by your guidelines.
Kylie twisted the cloth napkin she’d placed in her lap. Okay, was there something written in the rule books about a ghost whisperer having to be polite to obnoxious spirits?
Oh, wait, she didn't have a freaking rule book, or guidelines. She was winging it. Winging everything, in fact: ghost whispering, being a supernatural, being someone’s girlfriend.
Being someone’s ex-girlfriend!
Lately it felt like she was winging her whole damned life, and making a fine mess of things, too. Like her decision to leave Shadow Falls, the camp/recently turned boarding school for paranormal teens. It had felt like the right thing to do at the time.

Losing concentration, Mimi stopped her reading and proceeded to look out the window. She had arrived at Uta Academy, the prior day. Not having any time to explore, she went directly to the office and then to her new assigned dorm. Apparently, she was in early for registration yesterday, because she got an empty dorm room. This made her goal of meeting new people, much more difficult. Being a shy girl was something Mimi wasn't proud of; due to the fact that she couldn't go and talk to some stranger right out of the bat like other girls.

Resting her head on the palm of her hand, she returned her gaze to the instruments on the room. She could see a few guitar cases, a piano and other instruments she hasn't got time to try and play. Mimi looked back at the words on the book, now resting on her lap. A small sigh could be heard coming out of her mouth. "Why did I have to come here? I don't see the difference between this school and the one before..." Another sigh could be heard coming from her; closing the book on her lap she went back to look out the window. The day was beautiful, the blue sky had almost no clouds and the birds could be seen flying around. If she weren't so timid, she would have been outside trying to meet new "friends". She already had breakfast; actually, she was awake since the crack of dawn. She had decided that today she was going to spend it on one of the music rooms, since classes haven't even started yet. Shaking her head, a sad smile appeared on her face. Standing up from her spot, she walked to the guitar cases and picked one up. Taking the guitar, she placed it on her lap and started to tune it. After completing this task, she proceeded to play one of her favorite melodies, Playing this, she started to sing the lyrics to the song. Although, she mixed it up by inserting some spanish into the song.

“When the night has come and the land is dark. Y la luna es la luz que brilla ante mí. Miedo no, no tendré, oh I won’t, no me asustare. Just as long as you stand, stand by me. And darling, darling stand by me, oh stand by me. Oh stand, junto a mí, junto a mí.

Y aunque las montañas o el cielo caiga. No voy a preocuparme porque se, que tu estas, junto a mí. No llorare, no llorare oh, I won’t shed a tear. Porque se, que tu estas junto a mi. And darling, darling stand by me, oh stand by me. Oh stand, stand by me, stand by me.

And darling, darling stand by me, oh stand by me. Oh stand, junto a mí, junto a mí. And darling, darling stand by me, oh stand by me. Oh stand, junto a mí, junto a mí.”

Mimi had a great singing voice, but she was extremely shy. This prevent her from performing in front of anyone. Though at the moment she was so into the song that, if anyone were to come in she wouldn't be able to notice.

"We'll see about that." Kureiji heard him say. Then, as if none of that ever happened, she tilted her head to the side and said, "Kay!" Smiling. "Oh," She muttered, spinning on her heel to face him again, "Sorry about knocking ya down and stuffs!" She exclaimed, poking his nose. Afterwards, she cheerfully skipped away singing,
You told me think about it, well, I did,
Now I don't wanna feel a thing anymore..
I'm tired of begging for the things that I want,
I'm over sleeping like a dog on the floor!

Suddenly, she ran back over to them. "Oh! Do ya think I could join you guys for food? I'm kinda hungwy.." Kure asked, jumping up and down, a childish look on her face.

Sora Minami | Ren Allegretto

"That hurts; that truly hurts."

Ren's mischievous smile faded away a little at her comment as he looked at her with slight surprise, and some worry perhaps as he began to ask quietly, different from his usual tone, which was loud, and most often obnoxious, "H-hey... is something the matter-" He cut himself off though and allowed her to continued.

"You know, he's not entirely emotionless, Renny. If you were less outlandish and ... Well ... You ... He may be more open around you."

Ren was still a little worried, but wiped away his concerned look on his face and sighed, in a friendly way as usual, since he'd never be unfriendly to his childhood friend, probably his most precious friend in the world, "Ehhh, but that's not very fair! You know I can't change for that silly little idiot, dear~" He then called Sora over again who only ignored him and continued to look at the class rosters and dorm rooms, "Ah... he's such a loner..."

"Sometimes I doubt that you even have a brain in that blonde head of yours. Why would I be here if I wasn't attending the school?"

"Hehehe...." Ren tried to hold in his little childish giggles, but couldn't, resulting in an odd sound from him, which made him even laugh a little harder, "You make me disappointed, Hana! I thought you came here to see your old childhood friends who you've been trying to find for years! Or stalking at the very least." He giggled again.

"I'm not short, you're just freakishly tall! How mean!"

"Oh no no no, I don't think so, dear! I have to ask if you've been drinking your milk! My goodness! You're just about the same age as Sora, and yet you're this short?" He asked in a teasing-like way.

"You went to France? You have to tell me everything!" She took his hands in hers and looked at him with questioning eyes. "What it was like, what the people were like, the food, everything!"

He chuckled and patted her hear, taking advantage of his height, "Yes, of course, of course. Sometime later though, it's far too much to explain right now in the little time we have!" One more time, he called out to Sora who kept on ignoring him. Ren decided that it would be the last time he'd call for his brother, or he'd just have to leave him behind as well. That's what he thought until Hana ran straight for him at the sight of his little brother.

Sora was suddenly grabbed when he turned around at the sound of his name being shouted by that familiar person he spotted by before.

"I am in school."

The little brother to Ren blushed a little, since he wasn't used to being approached in such a way, especially by a girl, even if it was his childhood friend, Hana. He looked around to see eyes already on them as he asked quietly, trying to escape her grasp, "H-Hey... c-come on.. I know you miss me and all... b-but now isn't... uh... isn't really the t-time just yet..."

But while he was trying to get out of her hug and take all the attention off the two, her heard her whisper.

"I missed you and Renny so much. You both have to promise never to leave me alone again, okay?"

Ren, who was then pulled into the hug also heard her words. He returned her hug, not really caring about all the eyes on the three since he was used to it quite often. Sora still stood there a little awkwardly, and Ren, while Hana wasn't looking, made a sort of motion for him to return it, but it seemed that Sora was still much too embarrassed to do so.

"Now that Mama and Papa are gone, you're all I have left."

After hearing that though, the two brothers became absolutely silence, "W-wait, your mother and father d-" Sora cut himself off, not wanting to finish the sentence. In fact, he hardly wanted to think about it. While he always wore no expression, hardly any, his face showed surprise, and a tad bit of sadness by the words he heard.

Ren was the same way as well, being silent, and not saying anything back. He, too, was hurt by the news they didn't hear about. It was obvious that the brothers were thinking the same thing, 'If we just kept in touch then this might have not happened?'

"Oh, I'm blubbering again, aren't I? You both always said that I was a crybaby. I'm sorry, I just can't help but cry. I missed you both immensely."

"H-hey... don't worry about it, alright? If your mother and father are gone then we can become your new family, alright?" Sora asked, finally giving her a hug as well, not really feeling much embarrassment, but more guilt and sadness.

Although the mood was quite heavy, Ren gave his little brother a slight smirk as his face turned red a second time and told his older brother to be quiet and let her continue.

"Mama and Papa were in a car accident a month ago. Baby Joshua was in it with them, but somehow he survived. I'm his legal guardian, due to my being his older sister, but with school, I can't afford to take care of a sixteen-month-old baby. I had Aunt Haruhi take him in, and I take him on the weekends and over school breaks. Just promise that you won't leave me again, okay?"

"Thank goodness Joshua is alright..." Ren let out a sigh of relief, since Joshua was like a third brother in the family to Sora and himself, "And if you need to take a break from handling him, you can hand him over to Sora and I. We take care of the kids in our neighborhood, so I'm sure we could handle the kid." He said with a smile, "And don't worry, we won't leave you! Now that we all go to the same school for the next few years, I'm sure we'll all be together from now on! Isn't that right, Sora?"

The other brother nodded, "Yeah, so you don't have to freak out anymore. No more accidents are going to happen. We're both sorry for your mother and father's death." Sora said, sounding a bit awkward since he wasn't even used to such emotional experiences happening so often.

"Come on you two; we should probably go ahead and register, right?"

The two were then dragged to the line, Hana standing behind them and looking quite short since the two were much taller. Even with being in front of her, the two still turned around to talk to her, "H-hey..." Sora started, scratching the back of his head and looking in the opposite direction, not used to making requests either, "Since... we're all going to the same school now with different skills, you think we should do one of those duet things? But with the three of us?" He asked, knowing that his brother would feel left out if he didn't include him.

Jun didn't really know what a sod was. Maybe its because he was only allowed to hang around people that his mom said was his class when growing up. Besides from school of course. He never really cared for labels such as class types. He really just wanted to be like every kid and have friends.
"I'm gonna let you pack up and when you're done, just lead the way." She said, also telling him to lead the way. "Cool." Came his reply. He put his guitar back in it case and started walking. As they got near the school, his driver, David was waiting to meet him.
"Ahh. Young master, do you wish for me to take you to an exquisite place to eat. I know this area quite well you know." He said with a calm smile and bow. "I see you have already made friends." David pointed out looking at Kaori. "Does she wish to come along as well sir?"
"No. David. I mean. At least not to an exquisite restaurant." Jun thought that going there wouldn't be a good idea. It wasn't only going to point him out as a showoff but even he knew that you don't take your friends to a lovely dinner. Especially if its a girl you just met. "Maybe a cafe or a fast food shop. I never been to one of those before. Anyway," He said while turning to Kaori, "It's your choice where we eat since I not use to eating allot of things."

"Young master? Are you sure you don't want any food more suited to your taste."

"Yeah Dave. I'm absolutly sure. Your starting to sound like my mother." Jun pointed out in a friendly tone. "You don't want me to think your not cool, do you?"

"My heavens no. I'm the coolest hippest butler out there in the whole world."
Jun laughed at him a little and turned back to Kaori. "Well, where do you want to go?"

Kaori Collins

Jun led them back towards the school and Kaori followed suit.
As they approached the school Kaori saw a man standing in a suit stand by the school. He stood very straight and you could tell he had manners and was very professional. Kaori raised an eyebrow and very lightly tilted her head. 'I wonder who he's here for...'
Her question was soon answered as Jun and the man started a conversation.
What first struck her was the term 'Young master'. She looked at Jun as they spoke and somehow she felt awkward but just slightly. Finding out that Jun was high class made her change her posture. They spoke about places to eat and Kaori just stood by, smiling gently.
The man in the suit looked at her and smiled as he bowed. "I see you have already made friends." She smiled again and nodded. "Does she wish to come along as well sir?" Even though they seemed to have a very relaxed relationship, Kaori couldn't help but feel a bit stiff. They kept discussing when finally Jun turned to her. It's your choice where we eat since I'm not used to eating alot of things. Kaori only had time to open her mouth before his, what she assumed was his butler, interrupted.
The conversation they had next made her laugh. "My heavens no. I'm the coolest hippest butler out there in the whole world." She actually laughed out loud and she felt relaxed immediately.
"Well, where do you want to go?" She wiped a tear from her cheek as he turned to her and she smiled widely as she answered. "Well, there is a café down the streets who makes very tasty baguettes...or maybe you'd like a hamburger or something. They make those too. Very delicious aswell. Everything is homemade which gives it a very homey feeling." She looked at the both of them. "Does it sound alright?"
