Sasori Nishoku's Story

Sasori yawned as he walked out of the dorm. He was in the middle of the group, giving lazy smiles to the human girls of day class which int turn caused them to fangirl even harder. "Humans...so simple minded..." he thought, as his arms stretched out. Humans were so easy to control that it would be harder tying his shoe. He turned back and watched as the pure blood of the dorm approached that human girl.

What was so special about her? He could never tell...she looked weak like the rest of them. Of course, he didn't show this thought on his face, covering it with more lazy smiles. What did that human girl have? He couldn't help but ponder that, especially when the great Kaname pulled his time away from walking to waste on her. It was sickening...more then that blood substitue this damned academy made them drink. Apparently he wasn't the only one to think that, since he saw Cordelia snap at him about it. That girl had balls to say something like that...or she was in a pissed off mood today like usual. He softly snickered to himself before watching the drama unfold in front of him.

The other girl with her, that level D...Why the hell was that low class vampire here anyway? He had heard that this school only accepted Aristocrats and up so why was she here? Probably one of Kaname's business...seriously...that guy must have a thing for humans. Was this what the Pure-bloods were coming too? Enjoying human company instead of treating them like what they were? Food. His visible green eye danced with amusement as he watch the silver haired aristocrat lecture the other girl. So there was a side of her that cared under all the scorn? Amusing...

The red head looked around again, looking for that pure-blood that was supposed to be watching them. He scoffed to himself when he saw him walking away, probably to trail that human like a lost puppy. Sasori simply rolled his eyes before turning back to the two girls to see how this would play out.

Rose was in the classroom with the rest of the night class students. A lot of them starring at her with cold gazes. It was awful and overwhelming. She wanted to remember the things Cordelia told her but she couldn't say a word. I really hate this. It's just like hell. They are all aristocrat or higher, they have power and I don't. Why do I have to be the lonely level D. They all know I'm one, they can sense it. I'm scared, she thought to herself trying to block out the awkward and terrifying situation happening.

She decided to try reading to get her mind off of it but she noticed one the students with red hair was looking at her a little coldly. This bothered her and she didn't want him or anyone of the students to be watching her so closely like she was a zoo animal. She again tried to read blocking out everyone else but it didn't work yet again. She felt the thin pages of the books in her finger tips as an attempt to focus on something else but this still didn't work.

Stop starring at me! Stop starring at me! Stop starring at me!, she thought looking down at her feet now squeezing her book in her hands. More of the students looked more closely at her like she was a zoo animal. Stop it!, she thought again and stood up slowly a little angry. "Stop starring at me!" she yelled and the whole classroom went silent. She slammed her book down on the desk and accidentally slammed it on the hand of the red haired boy. Crap, what have I done? I'm going to get in so much trouble. I've never spoken like this before. How will others think of me now. I will probably have even less of a chance to get a friend, she thought to herself keeping her head down and letting a small unnoticeable tear fall down her face. She wiped it away before anyone noticed.

Sasori didn't mean to stare...it was just interesting to see how a level D was. After all, he had killed a few level E himself, along with D's becoming E's...and honestly, the ones he did kill were already on the brink of insanity...did the great Kaname Kuran think he could save one? That thought made him snicker. He already had almost zero respect for the guy, though he wouldn't voice that thought out loud-unlike a certain silver haired doll. What was so great about pure-bloods anyway? His mind soon wandered away from the Level D girl and onto the level A vampires. Sure, their blood was pure, but did that really matter? After all there was more Aristocrats then them-surely they wouldn't stand a chance out numbered...right? His brows knitted in concentration-though it made him look like he was glaring.

A loud voice broke his train of thought. A high pitched voice that shouted "Stop starring at me!" He raised a brow before feeling an impact on his right hand. He winced in pain, as he registered a book on his hand. It took him a moment of starring at the book before he realized what had happened. That brat had just slammed a book on his hand. A level D brat had just slammed a book on his hand. Sasori heard whispers as the other night class people registered that. He was about to demand an apology, but then saw her wipe her face. "A tear?" He thought to himself. Being the self-proclaimed gentleman he was, he couldn't demand things from a lady-even if she was a lower class.

An evil smirk played on his lips, as he thought of something that would hopefully cheer the girl up.

"OH THE PAIN!!" Sasori yelled dramatically, before falling to the ground and rolling. The rest of the night class just rolled their eyes at him. They knew about his pranking nature, but the new girl didn't. He couldn't help but laugh softly as he clutched his not-so-injured hand in his other hand. "SOMEONE CALL THE NURSE!" He yelled again.

Rose was still in shock from what she said. But she couldn't think about it because she realized she accidentally slammed her book on the red haired boy's hand. Oh crap, now I really am in trouble[/i, she thought to herself. She sat back down and was about the beg for forgiveness but the vampire was rolling on the ground screaming in pain. [i]It wasn't even that hard, what the hell?, she thought and looked at him. She saw that all the other students rolled their eyes at him.

"I'm s-sorry! It was an accident, I-I didn't mean to" she said pleading her apology so he would stop rolling around on the ground. She looked a little more closely at him and realized there was a slight smirk on his face. A silly prank, ok now I'm even more embarrassed, she thought and her cheeks turned a rosy pink.

The doors of the classroom suddenly opened and Kaname Kuran stepped in. Everyone bowed and rose did the same. "No need to take your attention of your studies to greet me" he said calmly. He walked into the classroom with swift strides and noticed Sasori rolling around on the ground. Another one of his childish pranks, he thought and put his hand on his forehead. He then walked over to Sasori and starred down at him. "Sasori, such immature acts make you look childish. Please return to your studies and don't continue these foolish jokes" he said sternly and waited for him to get up. I feel like I'm dealing with a bunch of kids, he thought.

Cordelia snorted, shrugging her shoulders and walking away. She took a seat in the back, as usual, and silently watched the rest of the class. People avoided confronting her because of the way she was, and she honestly didn't mind it. If they kept away she wouldn't have to socialize with idiots. Resting her chin in her hand, she watched the commotion with the redhead play out in front of her. She arched an eyebrow and tilted her head, not knowing if she should be amused by the scene, or annoying at the girl for freaking out about every little thing. Honestly. Had she not listened to what Cordelia had told her at all? If she acted like a victim, she would automatically be victimized... oh how Cordelia despised needy crybabies like these.

Soon bored by what was going on there, she turned her attention away from them and gazed out the window. Since it was starting to get dark outside, she guessed there wasn't so much interesting to see... but she still preferred the dark nights to the burning days. Besides, in her opinion the color black was beautiful... the most beautiful color you could ever come across anywhere, and the only color she really thought suited her. Sighing, she turned her attention back to the sketch book which was laying before her on her desk. Without even noticing it, she had picked up her pen and started drawing something. Nothing special at all, and really it was just a doodle... of an old man penetrated by countless daggers. A small, cruel smile crossed her lips before she turned serious again and pulled the page with the drawing out from the book.

Sasori stopped rolling and placed his hand behind his head, and shot the girl a lazy grin. "Now we both made fools of ourselves." He said simply, softly so only the girl could here his voice. The pain in his hand had already gone, and with that little distraction the class wouldn't bother the girl unless they wanted a great acting again from the red-head Sasori. He was about to get up, then he heard the door open. The next moment he saw another student over him, commanding him to get up. Hearing the comment he had made, it took all his will power not to snort.

Childish? Yes, but instead of watching the level D the great class A vampire had gone skirt chasing to follow that brown haired brat. Seriously? Who was the childish one here? He gave the pure-blood a lazy grin, before getting up into a sitting position. "Haha, my bad Kaname-chan just got a little bored in class." He said, trying not to roll his visible eye at the other student. He stretched upwards before standing up. He was almost as tall as the pure-blood, with him only a few inches taller then he. Because of this, he wasn't as submissive as the other Aristocrats... also with the fact he could care less about the whole ranking crap...

He then sat down on his seat, propping his legs up on the desk and took out his book. "Studying now, happy?" He said. He couldn't help but use his sarcastic tone as he directed the comment at the vampire. He really needed to lighten up...

Kaname noticed the sarcasm in Sasori's voice and frowned. He starred at him a little coldly, "If there is anything bothering you, please don't hesitate to come to me, it my job as the dorm president to make sure everyone is happy, do you understand Sasori?" he said then finally left and took his seat. Some of these students have no respect, they're aristocrats. They should be a little smarter than this, he thought. He picked up a book and opened it gently and started reading.

Rose watched as Kaname and the red haired boy talk. Kaname scolds a lot of people doesn't he, she thought when Kaname went back to his seat. She heard him say Sasori to the red haired boy, was that his name? He looked over at Sasori debating whether she should say anything. She opened her mouth a little to speak. She looked up shyly, "um... th-thank you, Sasori-sempai" she said quietly so only he could hear her. There was nervousness in her voice, she fiddled with one of the sleeves son her jacket.

This probably means nothing to him. Did I use the correct honorific? Maybe I should have called him sama instead of sempai, well he's older and of an upper class. So he's a sama and a sempai. This is confusing, she thought to herself.

Sasori gave another grin to the president. "Yes sir Kaname-chan, i'll be sure to come to you first!" He said, giving a salute at the end. Yeah right. He had seen what Cordelia got when she was voicing her problems to the guy. Did he seriously think he would believe that crap? The red-head sighed, and put his feet back on the ground, but leaned back in his chair. All he wated to do now was just sleep...he didn't feel like studying...he lost the mood for it. Did all pure-bloods just demand respect? They didn't think they needed to earn it? What brats....

He blinked as he heard a soft voice from his right. Sasori tilted his head a bit, looking at the girl straight in the eye. "You don't have to thank me, I just did what any guy would do to a cute girl." He gave her another grin, then said "And remember what Cordelia-chan said? That whole STOP IT thing was a good thing to do." Yes, he was listening in, since there was nothing better to listen too. And besides, who couldn't when Cordelia was using such big hand gestures. Then he said loudly "RIGHT CORDELIA-CHAN?!" He had noticed the girl just quietly sitting in the back like usual...Jeez...kids now days...don't know how to socialize, huh.

Cordelia hid the doodle beneath the block and then opened her book, a look of boredom settling across her features. This truly was boring, and she thought that if there was no change to this awful pace of events... the boredom would kill her. Had anyone actually ever died of boredom? A silent laugh went through her mind and she shook her head. What a foolish notion- but at the moment, she actually had the feeling she understand what it meant.

Now and then her gaze wandered to to Kaname, and every time a look of rage and disgust flashed through her blood red eyes. He acted like he was better than them all- he seemed to demand and expect respect, without giving anything back. Respect is nothing you can gain through ranks or birthright. Respect is something you need to earn, and no matter what position you are in, no matter into what class you are born into... at the end of the day, everyone has to earn it. Cordelia knew this, she had learned it from and early age on... just as she had learned so many other things from her 'oh-so-loving' parents. She sighed and shook her head, letting her gaze wander to Rose and Sasori. Well, at least they weren't making unnecessary noise any longer.

By the time he yelled her name, Cordelia had already filtered away everything they had said as 'unnecessary information' and totally zoned out. Upon hearing her name, however, her attention instantly returned to reality and her head snapped up from the back, an annoyed glint lingering in her blood red eyes. "Hmm?" she asked, her voice strangely calm in comparison to the flame in her eyes. "Would you mind quieting down a bit? Making such a fuzz in the middle of class is really unnecessary, don't you think?" a small, spiteful smile flitted across her lips, "or would that be too much for the great Sasori to handle?" a soft and elegant, though not quite right laugh- no, more like a dark giggle, escaped her lips as she turned her attention back to her studies.

Rose put her head down waiting to be scolded or ignored by Sasori but when she heard him same that she was 'cute' she looked up in surprise at him, her cheeks blushing a rosy red. When he grinned at her she blushed ever more and looked away. What is with him? Is he trying to pull some sort of joke?, she thought as he kept speaking to her. She finally decided to reply after he shouted at Cordelia. "Well I have to thank you, you're of a higher class than me and I have to give you respect. That is what I was taught after all" she said in a soft quiet voice. She looked back at her studies but became bored with them so she pulled out her notebook and started writing stories. She flipped to a blank page in the already full notebook and started a new story. A simple hobby she enjoyed, it was an escape from the world for her.

The teacher teaching the class raised his voice. "No talking!" the teacher snapped. Upon hearing the teacher snap Rose hid her notebook on her lap quickly so the teacher wouldn't scold her. She kept writing on her lap. I understand that Kaname is a pureblood, and the dorm president but he is a little too strict. Sasori was just trying to be funny, it's not that big of deal. Is this how the world of vampires work? His family was really nice, and he as strict when he was with his family. It makes no sense, she thought. "Um, Sasori-sempai" she said quietly to get his attention. She then wrote a message in her notebook so Kaname wouldn't hear her, 'Why is Kaname so strict?' she wrote in her notebook and passed it to him.

Sasori looked back at the silver haired vampire and shot her a grin. He put a hand over where his heart was and said "Ouch, you wound me Cordelia-chan. I won't be able to sleep tonight!" He paused again, before saying "And Silver-chan, we all know nothing's to much for me." With that said, he let out a chuckle, before turning his attention back to the other girl. It was interesting to know that some other aristocrat thought almost the same way he did. He didn't feel like he was committing treason as much for having such rude thoughts.

Seeing the girl's face turn red caused Sasori to smirk a bit. So she did act like a girl when she wasn't a deer in headlights. He waved his hand dismissally at the whole apology thing. "It's fine, I don't really care about ranking as much as the next guy." Hearing the teacher snap at them caused him to snort... like they would listen to him. He turned back to unopened book, and flipped lazily through the pages. He blinked as he heard the girl call out to him. He looked down at the notebook, quickly scanning the page and the written words.

Sasori picked up his pen, twirling it in between his fingers as he thought of a way to respond. Shrugging, he quickly wrote "He feels like he's higher then us, so I guess he thinks he needs to babysit us." Though in his opinion, Kaname was the one who needed babysitting...why? So he wouldn't run after that human girl all hours of the day.

Cordelia rolled her eyes, resisting the urge to actually laugh. She was enjoying this more than she liked to admit. "Of course I wounded you... Too bold for your own good, are you?" she asked, standing up and totally ignoring the teacher as she strode over to his bench, grasping hold of the edges of it with her small, pale hands, and leaning over it slightly as she mused, "If you keep saying such nonsense, I might come haunting you in your dreams... there are many stories with murderous dolls," she said in a slightly lowered voice, and despite joking, a slightly psychotic glint flashed through her purplish red eyes.

She leaned in on him so that her face was only inches away from his, before murmuring. "See if I'd get too much for you, Sasori... chan," Chuckling softly she straightened up again just as the teacher called her name, waving her hand slightly in dismissal before starting out the classroom. She knew there would be consequences for her because of this, but honestly didn't give a damn right then. Well, she never gave a damn, for that matter.. but still.

She took the notebook back and read what he wrote. He's right but isn't Kaname higher than us?, she thought then wrote down another message. 'But he is higher than us, he's a pureblood' she quickly wrote back and handed it to him under the desk. She sat there wondering when class would end, this was getting boring. She then saw Cordelia walk over to them and talk with Sasori, it seemed like a verbal competition. She watched curiously at them. They're both so confident. I wonder if they'd ever want to be my friend. That would be a dream come true for me, she thought then saw Cordelia storm out of the classroom. Is she even aloud to do that?, she thought, then went back to starring at her feet.

Something suddenly caught her attention. Her heart skipped a beat and she made a silent gasp. She looked up and she smelt blood. Oh crap, I'm getting an attack now? In class?, she thought and realized her eyes were glowing. She kept her head down to try and cover them. She raised her hand and spoke. "Excuse me, teacher may I please go to the bathroom?" she asked timidly but sounded a little rushed. The teacher excused her and she darted out of the classroom leaving the rest of the vampires back in the class. I just need a place to sit and get over this attack then I'll go back. It'll be fine., she said trying to reassure herself. She wasn't aware of where she was going, she was just trying to get as far away as possible from the classroom. She found a room and ran into it and closed the door behind her.

She started tearing up, little water droplets falling from her now crimson eyes. She sunk down to the ground against a wall and held her chest, trying to control her breathing. In and out, in and out. Isn't that how you do it? or was it out and in?, she couldn't think straight when she had these attacks. She hid her face in her knees and kept trying to calm down but it wasn't working. She looked around the room and what caught her attention was a corpse covered in blood. The thirst got worse and she yelped a little loudly then prayed that nobody heard. The corpse looked like a day class student. Still struggling she stood up and got a closer look at it, she saw two puncture marks in the neck of the corpse. She sat back down trying to control herself.

Zero was patrolling and smelt blood coming from the building. Damn, a night class student is drinking from a day class student, he thought and rushed over to the Academy building. He ran through the halls and ended up at a room with a closed door. He slammed open the door and pulled out the bloody rose gun. "Stop right there, Vampire!" he yelled, he looked around and saw a dead corpse and rose sitting in the corner with her eyes glowing. She did it, she killed that student, he thought and pointed the gun at her. Rose gasped when Zero stormed in and pointed the vampire hunter gun at her. She couldn't say anything, she just cried.

Kaname Kuran then stepped through the doorway and scowled. "Rose..." he said in an unhappy tone. Zero's anger increased when Kaname showed up. "All night class students should be in class right now" he said sternly to Kaname. "Yes, I am aware of that, but rose left class for so long and I smelt blood, and as the dorm president I assumed she had drank someone, and it looks like I'm correct" he said to Zero then shifting his attention to Rose. Zero was still pointing the gun at Rose, who was till weeping. But I didn't kill her, she thought but was unable to say out loud. Zero grabbed her arm and yanked her out of the room, holding the gun at her head as he pulled her to the headmasters office. "You're in big trouble" he said harshly with a cold scowl.

Sasori grinned at the girl's response, but it he tilted his head in question as he saw the silver haired vampire at his face. Hearing her comment about the dreams, he smirked and retorted, "Come now Cordelia-chan, you'll always be welcome in my dreams!" When she left he couldn't help but let out a laugh, and said "I think she was flirting with me." That was a good sign, she was cute after all. Of course Sasori would let cute girls be his friend. Giving another shrug, he looked back down at the notebook.

He opened his mouth to respond but then his nose caught something sweet. What a sweet smell...blood smelled like flowers to him strangely. It was alluring as if he was in a meadow. Anyone would be drawn to it. Sasori watched as Rose got up suddenly without hearing his response and he noticed the faint glow of red eyes. "Oh crap..." He knew that look, he had seen it before. Sasori sighed, and got up. He gave a wave to the teacher and walked out follow the sweet smell of blood. Maybe he could find where Cordelia was to continue there earlier competition.

When he arrived there, he saw the white haired disciplinary holding a gun to the level D's head. The scent of blood...along with that damned gun out...that meant one thing...someone had just had a meal....From the looks of it, the two other males were assuming it was her. Assuming she did. It wasn't fair for the girl, and that pissed him off...The scent of blood came even before she left the room so how could it be her? "Kaname-chan, she didn't drink from that human." He said, as he walked toward the trio. In a moment, the red-head was in front of Zero, and had his right hand over his wrist with the gun, squeezing harshly, Eyes glaring daggers at the committee member. "If she did drink from that stupid human, wouldn't you see blood stains around her mouth? How do we know you didn't do it, you level D? Your the same as her after all." He paused, before adding, venom dripping from his voice. "That Cross girl's blood wasn't enough for you? It's easy for you level D's to go berserk...and I doubt you have that control." His visible green eye had narrowed as he glared at the day class student. There was a few things he hated, and that was unfairness. That was one of the few things that could push his buttons.

Kaname saw Sasori walking towards the room and approached him, "this doesn't concern you, Sasori, leave now" he said sternly but of course he ignored him. Such terrible manners, he thought. "We don't know that. Yes we all smelt blood before she left the classroom but that doesn't mean she was dead before Rose left. This student could have simply gotten a paper cut and that's enough for a vampire to smell" he told him. He watched Sasori shifted his attention to Zero.

Rose was a little confused on why Sasori had come. "S-Sasori-sempai...?" she said. Did he follow me? No, that's crazy. But how did he know I was here, he could smell the blood bu could he sense me as well? I wonder if he could even read my thoughts..., she thought then saw him grab Zero's wrist. Anger coursed through Zero after hearing those words. You're the same as her... you level D, he repeated Sasori's words in his mind. He tightened the grip on his gun. Who the hell does he think he is, he's a level B but he's not a committee member, he thought the anger growing bigger. Once he started talking Yuki, he pushed Sasori to the ground, near Rose. He held the gun at both of them. "I'll shoot you both, right now if you don't shut up!" he yelled with an anger filled tone.

Kaname stood there watching the whole scene unfold. It was going a bit too far though. This is getting out of hand, he thought and stepped in the middle of the whole scene calmly. "It is an unforgivable act that has been made, but I don't intend on losing any lives over this. We'll let the headmaster decide her punishment. Sasori, I'm taking you back to the classroom and you don't say a word to anyone about this." he said in an icy cold tone and it was clear he was angry. Well more than usual. He grabbed Sasori's arm and pulled him out of the room. Zero took a hold of Rose and dragged her to the headmaster.

Sasori let out a snort, his emerald eye glaring at the white haired level D. He wasn't afraid of some brat with a gun. He would never be afraid of a human. Sasori got back up and dusted himself off. Then, his mouth twisted into a mocking smile. "Oh, did I hit a nerve?" He lifted his hands and said "Go ahead and shoot! I didn't do anything wrong! You are the one in trouble in the end!" His teeth was grinding together, fangs showing menacingly. That's when that level A stood in the way. Hearing his exclamition of a paper cut he let out a scornful snort.

"Are you kidding me?" He continued, outrage evident in his voice. he locked gazes with the dorm president, andger dancing in his visible eye. That's when Kaname started to pull him away. "Dammit! Let go!" He ripped his arm from the level A, glaring at him all the way. "Like hell i'll fricken' go back to class when that just happened! What the hell is wrong with you?!" With that said he turned back around and started to head back to the night class dorm.

As soon as he reached the door, he slammed the door shut. He was pissed off still, and headed straight for his room. He slammed his room door loudly, not caring if anyone was in here. Sasori yanked of his jacket, throwing it on a chair then taking off his eyepatch. He laid down heavily on his bed, and had an arm over his eyes. "Sleep would be good" He muttered under his breath.

Kaname was about to go after Sasori but then he decided it didn't matter. He had the whole night class to get under control. He turned on his heel and started walking back to the night class. I give her one chance to be at the academy and she blows it. I'm not entirely sure if she murdered her but it looks pretty convincing. I'll have to investigate who was out of class when we all smelt the blood. There was Rose, Cordelia and Kaito., he thought as he reached the classroom. It wasn't not very calm, everyone was talking about the blood that they smelt. He saw Yuki in the classroom once he got there. He in past her, taking swift strides and took his seat. He caught Yuki's gaze but he wasn't in the best mood so he looked coldly at her. He didn't even realize it.

Zero let go of Rose's wrist and she let herself fall on the ground. She didn't want to face him or the headmaster. I didn't do it, why did i have to run into that room. I just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, she thought hiding her head in her knees. "What is the meaning of this, Zero" the headmaster asked sounding concerned. "A day class student has been murdered by one of the night class students, and I found her with the corpse when I smelt the blood." he said eyeing Rose. "Did you see her actually drink the student's blood" the headmaster asked, "no, but she's level D. Any other vampire wouldn't just go and attack a human, I know this for a fact. I'm the same as her" said Zero. "I don't know why Rose would do this though, we gave her a chance to possibly become a level C. But if you didn't see her bite the student then we can't prove she's guilty. We will investigate any vampire who wasn't in class at the time" the headmaster said then walked over to Rose.

Rose looked up at Zero and the headmaster then stood up. "Rose, we will be investigating you tomorrow, but for now go back the moon dormitories. You won't be permitted to leave the dorms until we figure this out" said the headmaster. "Thank you, headmaster" she said and headed back to the dorms. She opened the large door hearing the usual creaking sound then shut it behind her making a loud thud. "Um... hello?" she asked wanting to know if anyone was here. She slowly made her way to the stairs and sat on the bottom stair. Did I blow it? Even though I didn't kill that girl, will they kick me out?, she thought then a tear rolled down her face. Followed by a few more tears, and soon her eyes were pouring out tears.
