Nothingness. Complete and utter darkness. That was all Yuki could see in her dream, all that was surrounding her, suffocating her. Yet, surprisingly, it was comfortable.. in an odd sense. That was, until a new aura replaced the previous blissful one, an aura of sinister cruelty. Fear and adrenaline began to course through her veins as the world around her began to revolve at a dizzying speed, the feeling of eyes trained on her form causing nervousness to creep into her mind. Then she saw them; two eyes peering from the darkness. A crimson and an electric blue, an odd mismatch pair, were staring into her soul, a ravenous hunger glinting within their depths. Fire and ice. "Yu....ki....yu...ki... come to me.. yuki. Sacrifice yourself for me.. my beloved 'tender princess'" came the floating voice, the space of her world resonating with it's chill. It sent shiver's down her spine hearing the cruelty lying behind each word, the malice that was directed towards her.. the hunger. Seemingly out of the inky space, a hand stretched towards the shuddering girl, claws and crimson adorning the limb. A deer in headlights, that was the only way to describe the nerve-ridden girl as claws encased her being, staining the exposed skin with a dazzling scarlet.
Abruptly, the Guardian shot up in her bed, resulting in the flying of the cream covers and the slight rattle of the bed frame as it hit the wall. Greedily gulping at the air, desperately attempting to calm her heart rate, the shaken Day Class student sent a wary scan around their room before dully noting the watery sunlight illuminating the room. It was then that Yuki realized where she was.. that she was safe, as was Yori (who was still sound asleep under the covers). It's barely dawn.. chastised the inner voice, the voice that was trying to remain 'mature' and 'realistic'. Following the quiet sigh, Yuki gave a quick shake of her head before setting her unstable legs onto the floor. It took a few tries but she finally managed to stand upright.. now the challenge of walking. Crossing the room with a tottering motion, the Guardian managed to reach her dresser and promptly began to shed the night gown.
Once she was fully dressed, Yuki only tossed one more glance over at the sleeping form of her best friend before silently slipping out of the room.. she'd make some excuse up later. For now, she was more preoccupied with getting the hell away from that dreadful nightmare. Rubbing her temples in annoyance, the girl desperately was trying to chase away the dark clouds that were hanging over her head. Fresh air.. whispered the voice in her mind, the tone slightly chipper. Deciding to follow her instincts for once in her life, heaven knows it was rare, Yuki crossed through the heavy wooden doors that lead to the outside.. only to be greeted by a man of rather high looking importance.. carrying a large sealed crate. Before the Guardian could even question who he was, the enigma of a man shoved the crate into Yuki's open arms before sharply saying "Yuki Cross. This is a new shipment of Blood tablets for the Night Class. Please alert the Head Master of this delivery and ensure these get to Kaname-sama as soon as possible." And just with a half bow, the man turned on his heels before continuing down his way on the cobblestone path to the front gate.
Sending a quick glance down at the bulky package in her arms, Yuki gave a reluctant sigh as she resigned herself to carry out this errand to the end.. even if it meant going to the Moon Dorms. It had taken the human girl at least 30 minutes to get to the other side of the campus, another 10 spent waiting to be ushered in by the wizened man. Sending the gatekeeper a grateful little dip of her head, Yuki had to shifted the large crate in her frail arms as she continued on her way. Reaching the elaborately carved front door, an agitated sigh escaped the Guardian as the task of opening the door with her elbow was presented.
Peering inside, it took the human a few heartbeats to readjust her rust-hued orbs.. after all, this was truly a vampire's liar. Drawn shades and a few lit candles provided hardly any light which made it next to impossible for any being other than of supernatural descendant to be granted with sight. "Lovely... " came her slightly sarcastic murmur as Yuki began to climb the flights of marble stairs, evidently struggling with the crate. A few minutes had passed before the Guardian had made it to the top,her heart beat skipping rapidly.. though that was more from nervousness at the prospect of going into Kaname's room. Trying to collect herself the best she could, Yuki wandered down the gloomy hall until she was at the door that was identified as Kaname's. Taking in another deep breath, the girl tried to chase away the nervousness that was causing her hands to shake. Finally mustering up her courage, Yuki brought herself to give 2 soft knocks on the glossy oaken surface before opening the barricade. "Ka..Kaname-sama.. I've brought some more blood tablets.." floated in the nervous voice, a hesitation evident in the tone.
