Introduction
Amber Dawn has just walked into the nightmare of her life, literally, and she'll have to trust her friends, and maybe her enemies, to wake her peacefully. The only problem is that her friends happen to be vampires, and despite their truce against drinking human blood, all want hers. As her nightmare goes on she finds herself unable to be turned into a vampire. But could this be good news or bad news, for now she is a walking blood-bank waiting to be devoured.

Amber Dawn - Stellabellum - A 17 year old girl, and secretly a queen, with night black hair and a set of piercing sea-green eyes. Standing at 5'4'' with a slender but sturdy build she is a little more than your average girl. Her skin is nicely bronzed, though in the moonlight she looks almost deathly pale. Not only does this hint at her darkest secret, that she is the vampire queen, but her oddly sharp teeth almost give it away.
David Lorence - LovelyRose - 18 and proud of who and what he is. He hates feeding on human blood and though he hates himself for it he longs for Amber's blood. His sister works for Zane and is also a vampire. David has rich blonde hair with natural streaks of strawberry blonde, and a set of dull grey eyes to go along with it, though they change to a vibrant silver when he is thirsty or is feeding. With a muscular build and nuetral skin he stands at 6'1''; he appears to be 17/18 years old. He is the best friend of Amber and, eventually, her lover.
Casper Blunt - - Though he isn't the most attractive of them all, he happens to be a vampire prince. He is the first to feed off of Amber, and due to his special royal abilities she isn't turned, and cannot be turned, at least in her dream world. He owns short, spikey brown hair that is always sticking up everywhere. His eyes are a natural green with golden flecks and unlike David’s, his are always vibrant and aloof, showing that even the scent of blood gets him going. He appears to be 18 years and is 6'2''.
Mandy Lively - JonahFrenchToast - Despite the knowledge that Casper is a prince and is incredibly dangerous, she continues to have a large crush on him, though nobody is sure if he shares the same feelings. She has long blonde hair that stops at her waist, and piercing amber eyes. They are dull most of the time, just like David’s, though they usually don’t get vibrant even when she senses blood. She appears to be 17 years old and stands at 5'7''.
Fredrico [Freddy] Le'van - - He may be the post feminine male of the group but Freddy isn't gay, nor does he ever want to be. Even though he knows Mandy likes Casper he still has a crush on her. He stands at 5'8'' with a lithe frame, and appears to be 16 years of age. Not only is he the girly-guy of the group but he is the only vegetarian, reverting to blood only twice a month, though just the scent of blood gets him going. His natural hair color is silver, though it is dyed a vibrant red, and he has two perfect blue eyes.
Kari Bennet - RosexXxStarlight - Abandoned as a child and taken in by Jiro, Kari is the youngest vampire in the group. She holds short brown hair that is cut in ragid layers. It is as short as a boy’s though she hopes to grow it longer. Her eyes are an odd violet, though they work well with her perky attitude. She appears to be 6 years old and is frail and fragile, her skin almost ghost white and her height only 3'3''.
Demetri Cable - - The "Second in Command" vampire with an unbelievable tolerance for blood, though he often is found going out for midnight snacks. He is African American with a buzz-cut and dark brown eyes that never show emotion, though when he gets angry or upset they flash constantly. He appears 19 years old with a muscular frame. He is very tall, reaching at 6’5’’.
Jiro [Jay] Loveless - - A Japanese vampire who only speaks at a time of struggle, if at all, and just so happens to be a vampire King, meant to be the husband of Amber. He is very controlled and well respected for it; he’s looked up to by the group. He is the strongest vampire of the pack, obtaining the position as leader, with an emotionless attitude towards almost everything. As Amber’s "King", he bites her once a week so he can stay calm, for if he didn’t he would go crazy, though nobody knows about this feasting except David. She doesn’t fight back in fear that he will kill her. He is attached to her and is very protective over to who drinks from her. With messy brown hair and dark, almost black eyes and a broad chest, he appears to be around 19; Jiro stands at 5'9''.
+Victoria Lorence - jjia101 - A vampire who is the older sister of David and is jealous of his relationship with Amber. She has strawberry blonde hair and amber eyes that one might mistaken as bright yellow. She is always on edge and isn’t afraid to gain revenge over her brother. She appears 19 years old and according to David, Zane is her lover.
+Ricky Dame - Stellabellum - The jokester who always seems to help Amber, even though he is of a different side. He is fliratious and when he feeds it will mostly be off women. He has slightly shaggy brown hair that works with his misty, always mischeivious crystal blue gaze. He has his ears pierced as well as his lip. He appears to be 18 years old and has a deep crush on Amber.
+Zane Negative - Flying Monkey Child - One of the most powerful vampires, also happening to be a vampire King, who wants Amber’s blood for himself. His hair is a dark brown that will mostly appear as black since it is slicked back, with only a few shorter hairs falling over his forehead. He has the perfect complexion, minus his scary, devouring crimson gaze. He appears 19 years of age and stands at 6'0'' with bronzed skin. He is in a relationship with Victoria though he isn’t as interested in her as he is in Amber, mostly using Victoria as a blood bank when he gets thirsty, or even just to quench his hormones.
Dygon Manor: This is where most of the story takes place, in the manor atop the Sycamore Mountains . Amber is taking care of the Manor over the summer while her family, and the owners of the house, are off on vacation. She stays in one of the upstairs master bedrooms. During her stay she falls into a mysterious slumber and dreams what she thinks is reality. A family of vampires stay in the house as she keeps it clean, though at the beginning of the story she is unaware of their blood-thirsty ways, just believing they are a homeless family in need of a place to stay. This is headquarters for the pack.
Madison Hall: A large boarding house in the middle of the Rush Forest, which is behind Dygon Manor. This serves as the home to Zane, Victoria, and Ricky.
Rush Forest/Sycamore Mountains: The scenery around which most of our settings take place. They are infested with rouge vampires and vampire hunters.
Vampire Kings/Princes: If you are a king or a prince you have special abilities that come with your bite. Each bite brings a variety of different things that could happen. Though Casper’s bite makes it that Amber can’t be turned, he could bite another person and a different effect could happen. Jiro’s bite mostly effects the mind, giving it illusions or making the person believe something that isn’t true. Zane’s bite has several effects, and though he bites many he doesn’t bite Amber until the end of the story, which will wake her up.
Vampire Queen: Throughout the centuries there has been one Vampire Queen that continues to be reborn. This Queen is said to eventually fall into a deep slumber and experience things she’s never seen before, such as vampires. When she is awakened the dream follows and vampires can once more rule over the earth. She is the only one to stop them, but she has to sacrifice herself for it, and in this case, nobody knows that Amber is the queen but the two Kings, Jiro and Zane.

When Daniel and her parents left, driving down the spiraling road from Dygon Manor, Amber wasn't sure what to think. Alright, so she had to stay behind and clean a dirty house. All summer. But that had to be better than spending it with their relatives up in Washington... right? She cleared her throat, swallowed once, then slowly turned around to face the Manor. The bricks, dark and black as if frosted with soot, gave the already old building an even more eerie appearance. Working not to gag from the dust just coating the front door Amber entered the residance.
She could have said other places were much more elegant, though she had to admit the artwork and craftsmanship was superb. The woodwork was decorated with runes and symbols that had to date back to centuries before, and the flooring, an almost blood colour, stood out against the honey-brown walls. As Amber walked through the Manor to inspect the rest of it her fingers trailed along the walls, leaving a fine line, showing off the real, lighter color of the walls without the grey dust.
With a sigh and a curved frown the brunette began her work. The day consisted of long labour and delicate, or not so delicate, work. Amber promissed to herself that she'd never work a summer again for a bunch of money, despite the pay. Only once she was done did she rest, plopping down onto one of the couches. A puff of dust rose into the air, resulting in a groan from the girl crumpled across the fabric. Within moments her eyes were flickered shut, breathing slowing, and the night pressed on to meet its bright morning.

Kira woke up yawning and stretched her arms our really wide. She glanced out her window and saw the moon begin to rise along with the stars. She jumped up from her bed and looked in her mirror. What looked back at her were vivid violet eyes that stood out against her now pale complexion. She liked her new look, but her hair was still short. It fell slightly below her ears with shaggy layers. She stretched one more time before heading into the hallway. Glancing around, she found that the dust was no longer covering every inch of it.
"Hewwo?" Kira called, curious as to who stayed up during the day to clean. "Is anybody here?" Her small voice echoed in the house and she was worried that she might be reprimanded for waking the others so she stopped. She tried listening to any noise in the house, but she only heard a quiet and steady beat. It reminded her of the beats of an animal's heart, but slower.
Kira got worried that it might be a bad person so she turned and ran as quickly as she could back to her room. She lightly closed the door and went back to her bed where she hid from the possibility of danger.
"Hewwo?" Kira called, curious as to who stayed up during the day to clean. "Is anybody here?" Mandy Lay quietly in her Large bed Not dreaming, but simply, wondering in her sleep. Mandy pictured what she would be like as a human, the trees smelled wonderful, a strong scent of sand ad pine hit her nostrils, causing her heart to beat. The stream flowing over the light rocks cause the frozen blood in her veins to warm, and the flutter of a Mockingbird caused her lungs to breath. The sound of her heart and lungs were faint, but all completely to real. "Hewwo?" Mandy heard in the recesses of her mind. Is anybody here?"
Mandy opened her eyes and groaned. It was Kira, Mandy slid her legs to one side of her mattress and hopped off of the large bed, but she paused, the heartbeat from her 'Dream' was still there. Curious she tied her long blonde locks back as well as she could and opened her bedroom door in time to hear the click of Kira's door. "Kira" Mandy said as she knocked on the young girls door. "Kira," She whispered as the heartbeat lulled into a slow murmur. What is that! It can't be an animal, it's entirely to slow, But in that case, it could be dying, but the breathing it's, it's... "Human!" Mandy growled through her teeth finishing her though. "How did it,"

But now, now it was different. It was exceptionally clean and almost new. She had convinced herself by now that her eyes were playing tricks on her, or truthfully she was just sleeping and in an oddly realistic dream; if only she realized that she was, in fact, sleeping, and would slumber until her duty would be completed. With a frown upon her lips she trailed through the house, heart beating soundly against her chest.
And then there was a voice. Amber froze in her shoes, eyes wide and pulse hastening. A small child; why was a child in the house? Immediatly she prayed this wasn't one of those nightmares about a child who slaughtered for fun. But then the voice cut off and there was a light scamper off feet as the girl, presumably, ran to her room. She strained to listen closely, and soon enough there was a creek of another door. Someone else was upstairs, this person older, she guessed, by the sound of their footsteps.

She hid under the blanket and covered her head from whatever was on the other side of the door, but when she heard Mandy's voice she peeked over. Mandy's voice was a whisper, but insistent so Kira hopped out of bed again and opened her door a crack. She looked up at the tall blonde that she envied so much.
"I'm sowwy I woke up early," Kira apologized, but realized that hadn't been what she had asked or said. "And no. I was sleeping untill now..." Her small voice trailed off untill the only sound they heard was a heartbeat that quickened. It was waking up. She heard a shuffle downstairs before her eyes widened.

"It will be fine Kira, Go, Get under the covers and I will return" She cooed at the young girl gently pushing her back into her room. Closing the girls door slightly she made her way for the stairs as the girls scent grew on her. "Female, scared, and very... Strange" Mandy said as she could not put her finger on the girls all to familiar third scent. Had she been here before? And If so why had Mandy not remembered the girls scent?

Amber jumped as a blonde haired girl came down the staircase, watching her with a fixed gaze. She couldn't help but feel exposed, as if the girl knew something about her that she herself couldn't understand. Almost instinctively she stepped back several spaces, body tensed and fingers twitching as she desprately fought to stay calm. As the girl spoke she flinched once more. It wasn't like she'd never seen a girl in her life; it was that she didn't understand what these people were doing in Dygon Manor, how exactly it got so nicely cleaned, and why these people didn't know who she was. The girl had to be around her age, but Amber had never seen her before; did she go to a private school? And more importantly, was she part of the Dygon family? If so, then she was the one trespassing.
"I'm sorry, you must be mistaken," the brunette replied, eyebrows furrowing slightly under her choppy bangs. "This manor belongs to the Dygon family, and I'm watching it over the summer. If you aren't part of the Dygon family then you must be the one trespassing..." Amber swallowed thickly, hands tensing tightly as she worked to stare levely at the girl before her.

He looked to Mandy and then.. to a unfamiliar face. A beautiful face. He reached the bottom of the staircase, now in plain sight, his eyes fixated only on the stranger who mentioned something about the Dygon family. Ah, he would linger on any words she had to say, as long as he got to watch them escape from her lips. He smiled, loosing his track of thought for a moment, but then regaining it as he moved over to Mandy, standing next to her. He reached his hand to the back of his head, scratching it lightly.
"Dygon family? Oh well uh.. you see.." he said, hesitating.

She couldn't help but stare, almost trapped by the blankness in his grey eyes. Finally she pulled her gaze away and folded her arms over her chest. "Go ahead, I'm not going to leave until I get an explanation." Her emerald eyes flashed darkly and she grinned an almost sharp-toothed grin. "I'm no threat, really. I'm just a girl who woke up with strangers in the house she was looking after."

Opening her mouth Mandy went to fabricate an answer of some sort, "We are t..." Hearing David emerge from the staircase Mandy turned following him with her eyes as he came to a halt next to her, flinching as he spoke. Empty words are entirely useless She thought inside her head, laughing at it for a moment before reverting he gave bacvk towards Amder. The girl had fairly sharp teeth, something unusual in a human, furrowing her brows Mandy stepped forward. "We are not the strangers here my dear, You are. We aren't asking you to leave, we just want to know how you got here? And most important Who are you?" Mandy said in a charming tone hoping to sooth the girls frustrated emotions so that she would shave away the rigidness in her voice and speak to Mandy and David as if they were her equals. Although we aren't Mandy smiled inwardly as she awaited the young girls reply.

Kira had walked back into her room and was hiding under her covers when she heard another set of footsteps not too far from her door. She heard them go down the steps where she assumed Mandy had left, too. Inside her, two emotions conflicted for dominance: fear and curiosity. She was scared of the person downstairs with a beating heart, but she wanted to see what was going on. Finally the curiosity got to her and Kira opened her door silently. She saw David walk down the steps and stand next to Mandy. They were talking to a pretty girl in a wierd tone.
Kira wandered curiosly down the steps untill she was hiding behind David. She stuck her head around to get a better look at the girl who seemed almost stubborn. She had pretty long, dark hair that Kira envied and before she could stop herself she said, "You're pretty." She quickly went back to hiding behind David.

Alrighty, then shall we begin this? I'll post up the starting post and y'all can continue from there.
I would like to say, at the beginning Amber just believes that there is a random family moving into the house. She still stays there to keep a suspicious eye on them, all the while growing closer to David. The rival vampires won't reveal they are vampires either, but they will visit the group at Dygon manner in interest of Amber.

Before we start it would be helpful if we had a David, Jiro, and Casper. If it takes too long I might consider having people double casting, but for us to really start I'd like to see David and Casper, or just David, because he happens to be the first one to meet Amber/become her friend.
