a character in “Van Helsing Academy: Warriors of Daylight”, originally authored by Guest, as played by RolePlayGateway

James Ruthven
Face claim: Liam Dryden

Name: James Ruthven

Age: Seventeen

Gender: Male

Country of birth: “That’s tricky, I was born in Italy but I’m really British”

Soldier, Brain or Backup?: Backup

James is what one might call a "spoiled brat!" he doesn’t really think of other's that much and least of all their financial status. He’s never really had to think of things like that, his father is a Baron and his mother an American Heiress. The only time he ever seems like he gives a shit about someone’s problems is when he’s trying to get laid. Hey! It’s not love just lust, he’s told that he gets that from his father but lord knows if it’s really true.

{Third time typing this, I'll rewrite this}

Father: Lord Gordon Ruthven (14th Earl of Rutherford)
Mother: Mortisha Winstien

So begins...

James was in a dark corner of the library that he had happily called his “office” currently he was attending to a freshman named Candy Parker whom much to his delight stumbled into the row of books looking for an old journal. So old stuffy man’s rants and rambles of things that seem so trivial right now. Not many people looked at these old books anymore they seemed to just sit on the shelf gathering dust and mildew.

He was rater busy for a pretty long time, but when he had at last finished “tending” to Candy he got up and headed to the main Library back into the bright end once more. He watched as people whispered and muttered to one another their little gossipy ways.

Hey old man Rest your head
You're breaking down inside
Armour's cracked,
set to collapse
Damn you, don't you cry

He sat down at a table and opened his father’s latest letter, as always it began with the melodramatic Dear Son. Then again The Earl has never been one for sentimentality. Which properly is why James seeks love from others as a result of not enough at home, If you believe in that mumbo jumbo which James certainly dose not.

Dear Son,

I trust you schooling is going well, I have after all spent a great deal of money on that school of yours and if you are not receiving the education your mother insists is necessary.

Of course, he cared more of the money then his son’s well being! James laughed shaking his head, “fuck!” as he read on he couldn’t help but look around at the other students in the Library, he took his eyes of the letter and started to count the people completely subconsciously and unaware of what he was doing. He felt like he was in a daze as he started to lesion in on what other people were saying.

Travel gossip: “He is soo… Cute!”

And more impotent things: something about a guy getting hurt… his hand grabbed a piece of paper and started writing fiercely what he over herd compliantly unaware of what he was doing.
