Bo Todd's Story

Rowan nodded. "I am literally the only man at the office she talks to and doesnt look like a startled doe while its happening. I cant tell if she's just super shy or what." He said and sighed a little bit. "I wasnt even that shy. And I would have had a damn good reason to be too." Ofelia said and peeked out when she heard the door open. "Well Gene likes her." She said softly and moved away from the door a little.

Sophie nodded. "Mhm..Thats what my mom said about it too." She spoke softly and plaid with her necklace with her free hand and then watched Gene run in and put a Flower Crown in front of her and run off again. Sophie laughed a little and smiled as she looked at it before putting it on top of her head. "Your little girl is very sweet" She said with a soft smile.

"I hope she doesn't have a reason to. I swear... I will just start burning every man that looks like he would harm a woman or girl. I will literally go fucking crazy." Roshia said.

Daryl watched the scene unfold and shook his head. He didn't know what he was going to do with her. He just chuckled softly, "Thank you. I tried raising he to be a good girl. She is like her mother in so many ways and I am extremely thankful for that. She actually learned how to make flower crowns from Rowan of all people." He laughed. "Then learned to press flowers and ran away from him, but Rowan found her thankfully. I don't think I could go on without her." He smiled.

Ofelia peeked back in. "Hmmm...I think shes just THAT shy. She doesnt seem scared. Just incredibly nervous." She said and sipped her tea before glaring at it and just chugging it down. "Ugh two more months.." She said and then yawned a little bit. "If nas isnt back im strapping the kid to my back and hunting his ass down. Dont try to stop me." She said rather plainly.

Sophie nodded and smiled a little bit. "My mom used to make him play with me when we got to visit. She taught us both how to make them and then made him sit through letting me braid flowers into his long hair like he was some kind of princess." She said and giggled a little bit. "Rowan lost her?..Honestly that man would lose his head if it wasnt attached...He's lost so many things at work already..And ive only been there two days."

Roshia looked at Rowan, "Is it bad that I am imaging Ofelia doing that and it be extremely hot? Because I find it extremely hot. Hey... uhm Rowan... you should strap the babies to you and go fishing. I may need to see it as soon as possible." She said.

Daryl laughed, "Yeah I am not shocked, he had a lot of work going on before you came along. Roshia would barely see him throughout the day. First pregnancy and she was alone for a good portion of it. Unless me or Ofelia came to see her. He wouldn't return until way after dark. It had gotten back between them. So I just think it was the job that got him into being a airhead. I am glad you are here and to help him. Between me and you, Rowan seems a bit happier. So thank you." He smiled.

"Ros. I have no doubts she would plow through people like it was nothing so she could show Nas their baby. Thats scary. Its not sexy. Calm your ovaries woman." Rowan said with a sigh. "Damn straight I fucking would. Imma have him un-sign whatever he signed if I have to take it to the king. I can stop breeding dragons. I wont supply his generals with dragons to protect his homestead. Not even the king will win against me....Dont worry if I snap, I wont hurt any of you. Just everyone else." She said, turning into a ball of rage again.

Sophie listened as she looked down at Arrow who was fast asleep in her arms. "Mhm. I think so too. I would go crazy if I were him. I only pick up about a quarter of his work load, not counting the foot work he does and I really dont know how he's been managing all of that stuff alone...He made it sound like he was a large scale party planner. But he does all the permits for people businesses too...Not to mention the land surveys to keep him busy too. I'm just glad I can help out even a little. I cant fathom how he was doing it alone." She said and sighed a little bit. "But he's been like that since we were young, always taking on a whole bunch."

Roshia shook her head, "Yeah... about that. You see... Nas is like our father. Nasir will bend for many many things, but fighting a war is not one of them. Or.. well... maybe he would. I am not sure... next war I swear to god if I am pregnant someone is getting hurt... and it ain't my babies." She said. "I would look so hot in battle."

Daryl shook his head, "Well he has a family now, he has to understand what is more important. Though... it seems like he comes home at a decent time and I mean... he was early today. But don't work your pretty little self too hard either. You have to take care of yourself too. If it gets too busy for you too. I know Roshia was mentioning working with you two once she was done with hunting. She wouldn't have minded. And I am pretty sure Gene would love to too. I have had to run her out of my room for organizing my drawers. I... her mother was never like this nor was I. I think it might be her babysitter." He sighed and chuckled. "Oh! Are you going to the summer festival?" He asked.

Ofelia just sighed. "We will see. I cant handle him going off to war again. I will snap and the kingdom will not be happy when I take my baby, and my army of dragons and just destroy everything." Ofelia said and Rowan looked at both of them like they were insane. Ofelia peeked out the door again. "Oooh the sly boy is asking about the summer festival." She said and got an evil smirk on her face.

"That was the main reason he hired me. So he can go home earlier. He works at a furious pace to be able to come home earlier like he does. Well we didnt do a whole bunch today, they ran off to visit his mom. So he sent me off with permits today." She said and then wondered where everyone else had snuck off to and why. She looked up at Daryl. "Oh, I'm not really sure yet. Im not really that great with crowds..So I might not." She said and looked back down at Arrow, gently rubbing her thumb on her tiny hand.

"Rowan was sly and look where that ended us. Slide right into m- haa anyway. Stop poking me Rowan." She said and gently swatted his shoulder before getting up and looked over into the dinning room. They were both holding babies and chatting. They already looked like a couple and Roshia smiled softly. She had to let him go, fully this time. She went back to a chair and slumped in it.

Daryl thought about it, "Well how about this, we can go together. Gene would love to bring you. It will be her first time going and I had planned on going when the crowd has died down some. Plus, there are fireworks at the end. People will come back for that, but we can take you towards the lake and watch the fireworks from there. I find there are the best from here. Plus no crowds." He said and smiled softly. Unless that is too much. Sorry... just trying to bring you into everything. Roshia and Rowan with the babies and Ofelia, well maybe her, will be there too." He said softly.

Rowan blinked. "I do what I want Roshia." He said and then went back to his book. Ofelia looked at them like they were gross again and just shook her head. "Yall gonna be pregnant again before I even give birth if you keep that shit up." She said and crossed her arms before getting wide eyed. "Omg...if Nas makes it in time for that he still cant touch me for two or more months.." She said and then got an evil look on her face. "Oooh im gonna tease the crap out of that man. Baybacks a bitch Nas baby." She said and giggled evilly. "Thats what he gets for knocking me up..."

Sophie paused for a moment. The thought of going with a man made her nervous, but Gene would be there, and maybe Rowan and Roshia, and then possibly Ofelia too. "Oh, uhm...That should be fine with me as long as I have the day off at the post office too." She said softly and slowly stood up before going to find where she could put Arrow down since their talking had made her stir. Ofelia walked out when she heard Sophie get up. "I'll take her to bed!" She said with a smile and Sophie handed her off and looked kind of lost and nervous again before going back to the table while Ofelia put Arrow down in her crib.

"Yeah you can do what you want to me... I don't mind." She smirked and winked at Ofelia before raising an eyebrow. "Last I remembered you were the one who got periods and you were the one who had like this... religious chart of when it was safe and what not. So if anyone should be teased it is you..." She smirked. "I should help him out and have him tease you right back. Then I will get some satisfaction out of you being sexually frustrated and that will be MY payback to you." She giggled evilly.

Daryl nodded, "Well just let me know, or Rowan, if you can. That way I can tell Gene. Then SHE can plan her outfit. Almost seven and you swear she was sixteen or something." He sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose. He watched her get up and Ofelia run out of no where to take the baby. He could see how nervous she was and got up to give her Bo. "Now you have to love on the other one." He smiled and walked to the other side of the room again. Bo looked up at her and blinked before looking back at him like he just back stabbed her. "What? She has to give you equal loving like I will do with your sister when she wakes up." He smirked. She hugged and went to play with the her scarf ruffles on her shirt. "I can see you are nervous with me. Which is fine... I will be more than willing to work up to that level where you can feel like I am on of your girl friends." He chuckled and heard Roshia sigh from the office.

"Ugh no. This torment is for not pulling out when I told him he needed to. He'd still be getting tormented even if he never left. Mostly because I think he's adorable when he gets pushed to the absolute edge of his limit." She said and sighed like she was day dreaming. Rowan looked horrified. "You are a monster. Whoever decided it was a good idea for you to start having sex needs to be shot." He said and just looked glad Ros wasnt like that. "Ros...I havent seen my husband in seven months. Im plenty frustrated, dont torment me further." She said and then peeked out the door and saw that Sophie had Bo now. "Hmm...Seems like she's fine if she's got a cute distraction." She said and stopped peeking at them.

"O-ok. I will let him know in the morning when I get my schedule..." She said and took Bo happily and then went to sit back down. Daryl said he would work with her until she was comfortable. She didnt know what to say so she just nodded and looked down at Bo who seemed to get used to her pretty quickly.

Ofelia peeked back out when Roshia sighed again and saw that the converstation had died. "Well, that died I guess. We better go save them before poor Sophie hands someone the kid and runs." She said softly so the two in the other room couldnt hear them.

Roshia looked at Rowan like 'I told you so' before smiling up at Ofelia. "Now if only someone would have actually had protection when he said he did.. would we be here right this second? Nope... so be proud of men who just can't wait to get it in." She giggled and rolled out of the chair and walked out. Roshia looked up at Daryl and smiled softly. He looked up at her, "Hey Roshia, are you going to the festival?" He asked.

She looked at him like he was crazy, "Of course I am. If I don't some tramp is going to try and be all over him. And if he has one of my babies and they try touching her... oh lord, the things I will do." She said before looking at Bo who was so into Sophie's clothes. "Also, you look like a little momma holding Bo. Sophie... will you be my baby momma?" She said as she got on one knee.


Lorelei had got lunch and bought one for Adrian too before going in and heading to his lab. "I got you food. You need at least something in your stomach besides coffee, doctor's orders. If you don't eat I won't eat." She said and climbed on the cot and sitting criss cross.

Sophie looked up when Roshia came over and then when she kneeled down and asked her to be her baby mama, Ofelia waddled out real fast and threw a balled up piece of paper at Roshia. "Dont do it. SHE did this to me!" Ofelia cried and then stopped and just sighed. "Im too pregnant for this nonsense." She said. Rowan walked out a minute later and just shook his head.

"Ros is on a mission to make all the ladies fall for her. Just ignore her advances and everything is fine. She's practically got Ofelia curled up in her lap like some kind of cat." He said and sighed. Ofelia giggled. "When your wifes best friend gets more action with her than you do..." Ofelia said and Rowan just smirked a little. "Mhmm sure, we'll go with that." He said and took his coffee cup with him. Sophie looked like she wasnt sure what to do, but she did turn a little red at the mention of 'action' happening.

Adrian looked up from his work and just stared at Lorelei or a minute before taking his lunch and starting to eat a little bit. He still wasnt very hungry, but he was going to make damn sure Lorelei was going to eat too. "Anything fun happen while you were out?" He asked and looked over at her and then back down at his desk at some photos of a pretty decomposed body. "Misha brought me a half rotted corpse. Says its important to get done. Found on the kings land or something like that. Gotta get him cause of death pretty soon..." He said.

Roshia pouted up at the two and sighed, "Don't listen to them. I will treat you so right, you would never go wrong, Sophie." She smiled and looked at Daryl. "You two had a fun chit-chat? Looked like it from what I saw." She winked and got up. "I will take her. You need a diaper change, missy." She said sweetly and grabbed Bo before running off with her.

Daryl shook his head, "Looks like I have competition with Roshia, who knew this day would come?" He joked and stood up. "I have to go cook for my little girl. It was really nice meeting you, Sophie. Hopefully we can get together before the festival. You all have a good day," He smiled and walked out to find Gene.

Lorelei began to eat when he started talking about a body. "Well then, when I see you have eaten enough I will head down to Loris' office then. I don't need to be distracting you from something like this. Plus I left my journal down there and the last time it was a medical one. Oh oh oh! I forgot to tell you, guess who has a new student? Me? Guess who the student is? Loris! He has always been interested in the medical field, but hasn't gone to college for it because it was too much money. So I went through the educational board and talked with them aaannnnddd they allowed me to teach him what was in my journals. Well... in exchange for me to publish them. So... yay for that I guess." She smiled.

Ofelia shook her head and just sighed at all of them. She watched Daryl get up and leave and went to look at what face Sophie was making but it just seemed like she was mildly relieved that she wasnt alone with him anymore. But she didnt look traumatized by the situation either so she was a little hopeful.

Rowan walked back in and saw that Daryl had left and put his hand on his hip. "He left huh?" He said and looked over at Sophie who had managed to put Bo to sleep just by holding her. Rowan looked at her like he was some kind of witch and Sophie raised an eyebrow. "Well Bo likes you..I dont know what you are...But thats a rare thing..." Rowan said and shook his head before taking the baby and taking her to her crib and setting her down. Sophie didnt seem nervous about not having the baby anymore. Sophie stayed for a few more minutes before she looked outside and saw how late it had gotten. "Oh I need to get going. I'll be late for reading the old people to sleep." She said. Rowan just waved at her. "I'll see you guys again sometime? Today was fun. It was nice meeting you Ofelia." She said and then headed out once everyone had said goodbye.


Adrian kept eating while he listened to Lorelei talk. "Oh really? That sounds like fun...I guess? I dont know, I dont like being a teacher but you seem to like it just fine." He said and then finished up eating and showed Lorelei his food was gone. "There. I was a good boy. Whats my reward?" He asked and smiled a dorky smile at Lorelei.

Once Sophie left Roshia slapped the table, "She needs to get laid. Who the fuck reads to old people? Nuns and little girls, she is neither of those. And what is up with her being so damn scared of men. Time and patience... just let them grow, Roshia." She said, trying to calm herself as she walked into the kitchen and made her some tea. She watched Daryl walk hand in hand to the front door of their house and Daryl was smiling. They seemed like they had a good time today and she was happy. She put the kettle on the stove and walked back out to the two. "Ofelia, you don't look a day over four months, you sure you only have two more months left?" She smirked.

Lorelei looked up and shook her head smiling. She couldn't take him anymore, he was just way too cute. She placed her food down next to her and walked up to him, cupping his face gently, and bending down to kiss him slowly. Lorelei parted from him a bit, "Is that good or do you want more?" She whispered, but smiled.

Ofelia blinked when Roshia slapped the table. "I dont know but she could be worse. Reading to the elderly isnt exactly deplorable behavior you know." She said and giggled while watching Roshia leave. When she came back Ofelia glared at her. "Oh im pretty sure. Ive been counting the days till I get to push this sucker out and be done with this pregnancy stuff for a while again.." She said and sighed. "I wonder why Sophie is so afraid of men...Did something happen to her Rowan?" She asked. Rowan shook his head. "Nothing that I know of. But then again I dont know her super well either. I do know my mom says she's only ever dated once, briefly. But they ended things after like three months and no one said a word about them since." He said with a sigh. "So i mean, she can get used to men, apparently."


Adrian smiled and kissed her back before pulling her into his lap and snuggling into her. "Nope. I always want more...And I mean the door does lock so...and theres a window blind..." He said, sort of joking about it. "You are such a distraction. But I like it. The king can wait a little while and I gotta wait on the new girl for her facial reconstruction stuff, or whatever..." He said and smirked before gently nibbling on Lorelei's neck.

Dol answered the door by peeking around the door and spying a Micah. "Aye if it isn't lover boy. Come in come in." She said. Lorelei had just left her house after going over somethings and went back to her lab. "What brings you here so early. I thought it was a sin for you to wake up early?" She asked.


Roshia was laying on the floor with two squiggly babies when they came in. Bo looked up the second she heard her dads voice. Arrow cooed as if to say hello. Roshia smiled and stood up. "Hey Soph! Rowan isn't slaving you away is he?" She asked as she came over.

Micah waved a dismissive hand at Dol. "Had to meet a man about art things. Couldnt go back to sleep. Its awful." He said with a little bit of a tired sigh. "Anyways I came to ask about whats going on tonight, like when I need to be here, I assume you've got some kind of plan to get them both out of the house long enough for us to sneak in.." He said and covered his mouth to yawn. "And who are you callin Lover boy? I'm not the one who comes over, just to snuggle your pillows and stare at you while you paint." He teased.

Sophie laughed softly and shook her head. "Oh no, my job at the post office has me doing more than Rowan ever does. How are you and the babies?" She asked, looking over at the babies. Rowan crossed his arms. "Ros thinks im some kind of slave driver apparently since I get home earlier now." He said with a defeated sigh before getting on the floor with the babies and playing peek-a-boo with them.

Dol tool a seat on the sofa and began painting her toe nails. "Mhm they will be out the house for ten. We will sneak in and hide. Ten thirty they will be soaking in the bath until eleven. I planned everything out, don't you worry." She smiled, not telling him about the last part. "Yes, you are indeed the lover boy. It isn't may fault your bed is nice and comfy and you are entertaining to watch. But you don't see me making songs about the people I have fucked." She laughed. "Also...i will bring snacks for tonight." She smirked.


Roshia smiled, "You are to pretty to work hard.and the babies are good good. Well kind of, I put them apart so they can try wiggling to each other. Motor skills and all." She smiled and ushered her to take a seat before she ran off to make tea. She popped her head back out a minute later. "If you wanna steal a baby from Rowan please do." She smiled.
