Dolnith might look small and innocent, but she is far from it. She likes to play the innocent card though. She likes to have a fun time and is a bit weird. Being in a serious relationship scares her. She fears she will end up with someone like her father and hates the thought of that. She likes to lure men in though and got the nickname of Succunith.
In a way she turned out to be her father in the sense of the love to be with more than one person. Though she would like to someday. Even though she smiles underneath she is slowly dying. She is loosing faith in what everyone has and she is stuck with her father's flaws. Now that she has settled down she likes to hang with her cousin, Lorelei, and her more than a best friend, Micah. Plus Adrian too because he is always around Lorelei.
History:
Dolnith is the youngest known child of Ruthron Keavaris and the only daughter to Breniadis Canor. She was conceived to her father's favorite mistress. No one knew about her except that she was the most beautiful woman in a certain part of the woods where she lived alone. No on knew if she was a human, elf, etc. Her birth was kept secret until her father couldn't stand not seeing his daughter everyday. The night before they were suppose to leave her father's brother-n-law made his way to her mother's house and slit her throat, but couldn't bring himself to kill the infant. The next day when her father went to get them he found his mistress dead and his young daughter crying. The only thing Dolnith has of her mother is a locket with her picture.
Growing up in her father's house was rough. She was clearly different from her twelve siblings who all either had black, blonde, or brown hair. Her father's wife despised her and had her living in a small house outside of the original home with one of the maids. Her father agreed it would be best since the siblings likes to pick on her a lot, especially when one of her eyes turned red. Dolnith hated living with her father, but she hated her father more. He made her train in the art of fighting all while being presentable as a lady. He wanted her wed to the finest man he could find. The only time she ever liked living with her father was when she got sent to her cousin's house for the summer and a month in the winter. They were the only part of her father's family that accepted her with open arms. From the age of four Dolnith started staying with her cousins. She was the a year older than their youngest daughter and she loved her to death. Lorelei was the one person she looked forward to when she was with her father.
It became clear that Lorelei enjoyed Dolnith's company as much as she did her's. They were inseparable. When they could go outside they would play in the tree line. Sometimes she would even help Lorelei sneak out of the house so that they could watch the fireflies in their backyard. Lorelei was never scared of her, if anything she was intrigued and loved her eye the most. Dolnith fell in love with her cousin and vowed to always be there by her side, but one faithful night changed it all. Her and Lorelei had sneaked out of the house, like usual, when the went to lay in the grass to watch the stars. Lorelei was seven and Dolnith was eight, they had made a wish on a shooting star about what they wanted to be when they grew up. Lorelei wanted to be a doctor and Dolnith wanted to be someone. Lorelei had looked over at her and said she was someone. Dolnith explained that she was a bastard child and to her own family she was no one. Lorelei held her hand and told her she would always be someone to her. Dolnith began to cry and rolled over on top of Lorelei. Dolnith confessed to Lorelei her feelings and went to kiss her when just inches away from her lips a light grey mist appeared and she felt like a bunch of energy was transferred to her. Dolnith shoved herself away and blinked in confusion, she had never done that before. Lorelei looked lifeless in front of her and Dolnith began to scream. Her uncle came running out and brought her inside while her brother, Nasir, picked her up and held her close to calm her down. She wiggled out of his arms and ran to Lorelei, apologizing none stop. No one blamed her and said that she was already a sickly child, but her and Lorelei knew the truth. Lorelei ended up becoming greatly sick again and Dolnith stayed in the corner of her room and watched over her. Lorelei tried to get her to come closer, but she refused. She didn't want to hurt her again. Lorelei laughed and said she wasn't hurt and that it was just her body trying to find the energy that was taken from her.
Dolnith couldn't forgive herself until the last day she was there. Lorelei said she wouldn't forgive herself unless Dolnith forgave herself. Dolnith tried to tell her she didn't need to forgive herself and that is was her fault, but Lorelei wasn't having it. While her father was in the village she told her father everything. He told her she was never to come back to the village and tried to cut off all ties to her, but Dolnith always sneaked letters to Lorelei and then one day the letters stopped. Dolnith felt so heartbroken and was worried sick about Lorelei. It had been a year after she left and Dolnith couldn't bring herself to think she was dead. The whole time her father had been working with her and she knew she could help Lorelei, so she had sneaked out of the house and ran away to the village. Once there her uncle greeted her like one of his own kids and told her to stay as long as she liked. She held Lorelei's cold hand and gave her back the energy she took. Dolnith leaned in and whispered in her ear, "I love you and I will be back whenever I can to see you." She kissed her forehead and ran out the house. She went back to her father's and was greatly disciplined.
It never stopped her though. As she got older she figured what she could do and ran away from home. Her father was trying to wed her to a man she hated. She hadn't seen Lorelei since she was thirteen, but she couldn't run to the village, her father would know. So she has been on the run since she was fourteen, doing what she needed to do to survive. She is ready, at eighteen, to find Lorelei. Now that she has found Lorelei Dol is settled in and down. She makes money selling energy and working for Uncle Q. Dol has finally fallen in love with her cousin's boyfriend's friend, but it has proven a bit difficult, but worth it.
