| Name: Istrain Derastil Garmold | Age: 26 | Gender: Male | Sexuality: Bisexual | Height: 4'9"" | Weight: 122lbs |
| Race/Species: Dwarf | Hair Colour: Dark brown | Eye Colour: Hazel | Skin Colour: Tanned | Trade: Merchant |

Image

Appearance:
Istrain stands at only four feet and nine inches of height, and is of average weight. He has toned muscles and tanned skin, and he keeps his face with a small amount of stubble. He has hazel eyes with a slight almond shape that are somewhat sunken in, and his eyebrows are neither thin nor bushy. He has an average, slightly pointed nose and he has full bow lips. His dark brown hair comes down to approximately his chin and is straight. He typically dresses in comfortable clothes - plain pants and a plain shirt - but he usually wears expensive, fancy jackets with embroidery and beading.

Image

Personality:

Ever since he was a child, Istrain has been an extremely sly and charismatic individual. An excellent liar and a master manipulator, Istrain's charisma makes him an excellent trader as he is easily able to persuade customers and clients to buy from him - often at prices higher than his competitors might offer. Istrain is extremely ambitious, wanting to profit immensely from his trade and seeking to eventually live a life of comfort and luxury. He can be somewhat deceptive and manipulative, particularly when it comes to relationships both business and personal, and while he is flirtatious, he has commitment issues when it comes to romance. He tends to engage only in the physical aspect of his relationships. Istrain is extremely family-oriented, and would do anything for his parents or his siblings, even at cost to himself or his wealth. Istrain's family is the only thing that matters more to him than wealth and material goods, and it shows in his interactions with him as he is extremely warm and loving, while outside of his family, he tends to be much colder.

Image

History/Bio:

The second-eldest of eight siblings, Istrain exhibited a remarkable talent for lying and convincing others to listen to him. As such, when it came time to pick a career path for him, his parents decided that he should pursue the merchants’ trade, knowing that his charisma would make him an excellent trader and barterer. He was trained by a pair of Master Traders, a married couple called Eliseo and Yamina who were eager to train the clever young boy. Istrain became close friends with Eliseo and Yamina’s son, a boy named Adagov who was a year older than him and also learning the merchants’ trade. When they were old enough to start working on their own, they worked as partners, and they quickly gained vast amounts of success.

Shortly after Istrain’s younger sister Barynn left Bhagh-Nernwahrum to venture to the surface world, Istrain and Adagov ran into some trouble with a client. They were in Bhagh-Nernwahrum’s upper area, where the merchants from the surface world came to trade with the dwarven merchants without entering the city itself, and a pair of human traders shortchanged them in a deal. Istrain and Adagov confronted the human traders, and the human traders revealed that they were members of a prolific gang on the surface. They threatened Istrain and Adagov, telling them that they were going to ruin the two of them if they ever tried to do business with them or any of their contacts again.

Istrain and Adagov decided not to let the threats phase them, and they continued their business. It was a few weeks later before they encountered the human traders again, and they discovered that one of the elven traders with whom they’d made a few deals earlier in the week was a client of the gang. The human traders demanded that Istrain and Adagov step outside and fight them, but the dwarves refused. Then, the human traders presented them with a choice: if Istrain and Adagov didn’t step outside, they’d track down and find Istrain’s younger sister, Barynn, who they knew to be working in a jewelry shop in the nearest town to Bhagh-Nernwahrum.

Istrain, who valued his family above all else, and Adagov, who’d always had something of a secret crush on the second-eldest Garmold daughter, refused to let such a threat stand, so they agreed to fight the two. They exited the trading area and brawled with them. Istrain, who was a decent fighter, fared well against his opponent up until the other human merchant pulled out a hidden dagger and used it to stab Adagov. Istrain was shocked, and he ran back into Bhagh-Nernwahrum. He told the city officials about what had happened and the human traders were banished from trading with the dwarves, but that wasn’t good enough for Istrain. Determined to avenge his best friend’s death and to protect his younger sister in case the gang attempted to pursue her, Istrain decided to leave Bhagh-Nernwahrum and to pursue the gang. With the help of some allies he found on the surface world, and with the help of his extreme charisma and cleverness, he was not only able to find the traders responsible for Adagov’s death, but he also managed to dismantle the gang from within over the next few months, earning their trust and then betraying them.

Once he was satisfied that the gang was no more, Istrain decided that he wanted to stay in the surface world. He’d come to quite like it, and he’d realized that there were countless trade opportunities to pursue on the surface. So, he said goodbye to his family and then set out to make it as a traveling merchant in the surface world. Right now, he is slowly traveling towards Veritas Isle, where he knows that his sister has settled down and where he wishes to surprise her with a visit, as he made his family agree not to tell her that he’d left Bhagh-Nernwahrum permanently to live on the surface solely to surprise her.

Haera stood there, wondering why on fucking Mother's green earth she was talking to this dwarf man. Maybe because you two have things in common... or the fact that he looks like a bearded woman. She though and a smirked curled the corner of her lips. "Well... everyone has their weakness... I guess? I don't know I haven't met a guy or woman who had me go against what I believe so... maybe it is my cold heart and sharp words?" She joked, sort of. She would have to stop by after this and meet up with her best guy friend and tell him about this shit.

Istrain smirked slightly as he looked towards her. "I couldn't deal with that shit," he said with a shake of his head. "If a woman tried to give me sharp words then she'd have to miss out." He really didn't care for women with attitude. It wasn't so bad with Haera - partially because she had a great swing and had impressed him early on, and mostly because he had no intentions of sleeping with her. Besides, even if he wanted to bed her, he knew she'd never go for that. "Did you want to walk with us a while? Longrus seems to like you well enough, though I can't see why."

Haera couldn't hold back her laugh, "She wouldn't be missing much, now would she?" She asked and shook her head. Haera liked a guy who stood up to her words and fists. If he couldn't take a harsh word or a punch to the jaw he wasn't worth her time. Haera was about to tell him she was off, but then he asked if she wanted to walk with them and she thought about it for a second before nodding. "Sure. Longrus knows a good warrior when he sees one. Too bad you fooled him. Tis tis." She said and the dragon huffed a dragon laugh which caused her to smile proudly before walking. "So Longrus... sounds like a good name." She said.

Istrain nodded a bit, beginning to walk alongside her while Longrus trotted on ahead. He decided to ignore her little quip for now, only because he was fond of the name as well and wanted to put more focus on that. "It is," he agreed with a nod. "It's the name of one of our grandfathers. Honestly, just looking at the little guy, I can see why Barynn picked it," he continued with a chuckle. Their grandpa Longrus was a proud, somewhat regal man, and he could definitely see why a dragon would make his sister think of him.

Haera would never name an animal after a someone she looked up to or loved. She considered it a bit rude, but to each their own and the dragon was a sweetheart. "Well if it is a compliment to him I don't think it is so bad." She said and walked a bit with him. "So what makes it a good reason to name the dragon after your grandfather?" Haera asked, honestly curious as to why someone would name a pet his name. If she ever had a kid by some horrid luck of hers, she would name him after her father. After that thought she sent up a prayer that she would never fall on that fate.

Istrain smiled, nodding. "Definitely a compliment," he replied. "Lots of people name their kids after loved ones, but since Barynn won't be having any, she used up all those names on pets instead. So our grandpa..." Istrain paused slightly to chuckle, shaking his head a bit. "Not royalty, but the way he carries himself, you'd think he was. He's got a sharp tongue and one hell of a temper. When we were kids, there was honestly nothing more satisfying than when grandpa yelled at our mum," he added with a smile, shaking his head. He's a very proud man. So yeah...I think that a dragon is a suitable namesake."

Haera listened to him talk and blinked when he said his grandfather yelled at his mother. Her father only ever yelled when he was trying to get our attention when in danger or training when he was barking orders, but he was always respectful in a way. Though that behavior reminded of her own dwarf grandfather. He yelled once at her mother on their property and her father all but punted him back to his cave. Haera had never been more proud of her father. "Well he sounds like a joy." She said and blinked, "Wait... y'all get pets under there? Well... I guess rats are a thing in dark places." She said with a bit of a shrug. Birger should be open by the time she got back to the city. She missed him just as much as she missed her own family.

They both fought in the war and started out at different areas on the field, but once fought side by side they decided to keep the two by each other. Then once the war was over, he went back home, and she decided to travel a bit. Now she was back and she had much to talk about with her old friend. Haera had looked just in time to see her younger sister run by and then stop. "Shit, she fucking saw me with you." Haera said. Roshia turned around and jogged over. She looked at Istrain and then at Haera. "You are with a dwarf... is he from mom's family's village?" She asked.

Haera shook her head no, "He comes from somewhere down below in the kingdom. Decided that I wanted to up it a notch and take a dwarf slave. So I took the prettiest man I could find. His name is Istrain." She said, withe a very serious face and voice.

Roshia looked a bit confused, "I want to say you are joking, but knowing you... you would actually do this. Are you really her slave?" Roshia asked the small man. He was in face one of the prettier dwarf men she had ever seen.

It was all Istrain could do to keep from laughing and, instead, he turned to face Roshia and dropped into a deep bow. "But of course, my lady," he responded in as smooth a voice as he could. "Mistress Haera keeps me fed and puts clothes on my back, and in return asks only that I do her bidding. I can see no arrangement more mutually beneficial. And you, beautiful lady - I suppose you couldn't be anyone but Mistress Haera's sister?" Haera hadn't said it out loud, but she didn't need to - as soon as Roshia had said "mom", he knew that she had to be one of Penelo's kids. Barynn had mentioned her having eight, same as his parents. He wasn't entirely sure where Haera was going with this, but it was fucking hilarious and he was along for the ride.

Roshia blinked and looked at the dwarf back to her sister. "You know this shit is illegal, right? Or is this some kink shit, Haera?" She asked. "And yeah I am her sister..." She said as if maybe she shouldn't have said she was. Haera smiled, "It isn't illegal if no one catches me. Right now he looks like a normal small man walking a dragon. I could always give him to you to test drive... just uhh... don't fuck him." She said. "I don't need him turning into a horn dog. I like my pretty slave men to stay virgins." She said and Roshia looked so done. "It is weird as fuck to even see you with a dwarf and not have him eating sand, but this..." Roshia shook her head.

Haera smiled sweetly and Roshia rolled her eyes, "I have to get shit done before the babies come back, let this poor man go if you are holding him hostage... I don't need an army of dwarfs coming here and starting shit. I don't want to look like father when he kicked grandfather across the yard." She said. Haera snickered at the memory. It was such a great one. "It was nice to meet you Istrain." She said before leaving. Haera waved and looked back at Istrain, "And that is Goddess Roshia. I taught her how to fight now even I fear her when she is pissed." She said before continuing to walk.

Once Roshia was out of earshot, Istrain burst out laughing, shaking his head. "You've got a sense of humour! It's good to know you have at least one redeeming quality," he said once he'd stopped laughing. He resumed walking with her, still shaking his head. "A Goddess indeed," he murmured. "I'd go quite willingly to her for a test drive." He paused for a moment, contemplating the last bit of what she'd said. "If she's so fearsome when she's pissed...does that mean we need to keep this going? I imagine she'll be pissed when she finds out." He figured that he could probably take her, but he didn't care to find out. Haera was enough of a handful for him, he couldn't have two beautiful women who wanted to kick his ass. It'd be just devastating.

Haera glared sideways at the dwarf, "Watch it... just might actually make you eat sand." She said, though there was a small smirk playing about. Then it was her turn to laugh, "That's cute... you think my sister would actually waste her time letting some small man flop himself on top of her... or ride..." She looked down. "Too cute. You small men have such big dreams." Haera pretended to wipe a tear. "Thankfully she got knocked up by a decent man." She sighed before blinking. "Nah, she has a sense of humor. I don't think she took me too seriously... though I don't know how I feel about her thinking I would take slaves... especially dwarf slaves. I like my men tall and my women... well they can be whatever height they please..." Haera smiled. "Should we head back to the city? I have people to meet and I know your small legs need some rest." She said, pressing her lips together to keep from laughing.

Istrain rolled his hazel eyes a bit, shaking his head with a smile. "You just underestimate at least five different parts of my body," he said. "But sure. We can head back. I should probably check in on my sister sooner than later, anyways." He knew how Barynn got caught up in her work, and he had no intention of letting her forget to take care of herself.

Haera nodded, "Sounds good to me." She said as the continued to walk. They made it over the bridge and she turned to him. "If you are done checking on your sister and get tired of watching her like the creep you are I will be at a bar called The Swinging Axe. Don't ask me about the name, my friend... he is something else. It right down here... like... you can see the sign from here." She said pointing. "See ya." She said and headed to the bar.

Istrain walked along with Haera into the city. It really was a different atmosphere from the peaceful serenity of the lake - not an unwelcome change, of course, only different. He raised an eyebrow slightly when she told him where she'd be. Was Haera inviting him to join her at the bar? Hadn't she said she had people to meet with? He didn't quite know what to make of it, but he'd never turn down an invitation to a bar. "I may stop by," he said coyly, because of course he was going to stop by. "I'll see you around. Hope it's not a shit bar," he said, shooting her a wink before heading off in the direction of his sister's shop.

It took Barynn a moment to register that she needed to open the door for her brother when he knocked. She'd become so accustomed to listening for Luther's special knock that anything else sounded almost foreign to her anymore. She set aside her work, though, and answered the door with a smile. "Welcome back," she said to Istrain as he came in.

"Thanks," Istrain said, leaning over to peck her cheek briefly before starting to remove the leash from the dragon. "Ran into Haera by the lake. Longrus took a liking to her so I let the bitch walk with us for a while," he said with a chuckle.

Barynn frowned. "Istrain-" she started, but her brother held up his hands defensively.

"Relax, relax," he said to her before going to serve some of the dragon food to Longrus. "We're on much better terms now. She even invited me to join her at a bar when I finish checking in on you. I think she wants me," he joked with a chuckle, and Barynn sighed, smiling though she shook her head.

"You're the worst," she told him.

"I try," he replied with a shrug of his broad shoulders. "Now, look, I don't know how long I'm going to be out - you know how I am when it comes to bars - so I'm gonna leave you some money. Make sure you eat, okay? I know how you are." It was true - he knew how easily she lost herself in her work, and she knew how impressively well her brother could hold his liquor. The family often joked that Barynn and Istrain were like twins born a few years apart, what with how close they were.

"I'll eat," she told him with a nod. "Honestly, I'm starving right now. Do you want to just run out and get something to eat together before you go see Haera?"

Istrain considered it for a moment before nodding. "Sure," he said. "You know the city better than I do, so lead the way." The pair headed outside, saying a quick goodbye to Longrus, and then Barynn locked the door up behind them before starting out. Part of her wanted to eat at the restaurant where Luther had taken her for dinner the first night she'd been in town, but she didn't want to stir up any memories. Instead, she headed for a small place that she'd noticed only in passing, a place that she'd wanted to try but hadn't yet had the chance since she'd been so caught up in her work. Having Luther bring her food had been convenient, but she did love dining out.

Haera walked into the tavern and saw her old friend and lover standing behind the bar talking with a regular. He had looked up and saw her smiling face before letting his own smile creep up. "Well fuck me till Wednesday and call me momma, look what the fucking wind blew in." He laughed. People turned around and greeted her as she walked to the bar and sat down. "Aye there, warrior. I see you have missed me." She said.

Birger laughed, "Missed you? A bit... can't say I have lost sleep or anything." He grabbed a glass and filled it with her favorite ale before handing it to her. "You see... I heard your ass got into a fight the day you got back. Only you would do something like that, BUT then I heard it was with a dwarf man." He laughed. "Leave it to you..." He said.

Haera shook her head, "The fucking was scared to ride a dragon... then his stupid ass got to running so I made it stop with my fist. Then he had the NERVE to hit back. I swear, my momma's people never learn. Anyway, speaking of my mother. She knew his sister and she apparently brought him to my mother's house because my MOTHER made me APOLOGIZE to his short ass. He is shorter than his sister, Bir... I swear. So I apologize and then we get to speaking... sharp words, but he doesn't seem to mind. And he gives me a damn 'cursed' pendant. I took it, pretty sure I can get a good coin for it." She sighed. "Anyway, I invited him here to show you. This bitch... ugh... I want to smack his fucking face off. Also he looks like... a pretty man. Like... his sister is hot. Those lips of hers were made for the sucking... and he looks like her... pretty but with a light beard." Haera laughed. "If he isn't a chicken, he will come and we can make fun of him together... then send his ass home... and maybe me and you can do some catching up." She smiled.

Birger listened while he filled people's drinks and shook his head. Haera had a way of attracting the men she never wanted. He wondered if she was going to rip this guy a new one, especially since he was a dwarf. Either way he was interested in meeting this man. He looked up at her when she mention catching up later and he smirked. "You always know I like to catch up, Hae." He said and winked at her.

After a lovely dinner with his sister, Istrain dropped Barynn off back at her shop and headed to the bar that Haera had pointed out. He didn't think the name quite so odd as it seemed she had. It didn't look too disappointing as he approached, so he headed on inside. He didn't mind that most of the patrons were at least a head taller than he was, since that tended to be how things were wherever he went. He quickly spotted Haera engaged in conversation with the highly-attractive man behind the counter, but he decided to hold off on heading over there right away, instead stopping for a moment to scan the room in the hopes that there may be a pretty girl or two to pursue.

Birger was the one to notice the dwarf that came in. He motioned with his head for Haera to looked and she turned. It looked like he was looking for either her or a poor girl he chose for a victim. "Yeah... that's him. Look at him. Looket. He looks ridiculous. I want to punch him for thinking he could get with anyone from my islands. He has better luck fucking his sister." She said and Birger just laughed. "So harsh on your fellow man, Hae." He said. She rolled her eyes and pointed to her empty glass. "You are slacking, old man." She said. He shook his head before pouring her a drink. "No... Bir... the hard shit." She said. Birger downed the glass he poured for her before filling her now empty glass with the hard stuff. "Ahh that's my boy." Haera said and downed it before turning. "No one is going to want you, boy. Get your ass over here." She said. The people looked over at him now, the ladies snickering before eyeing him up and down.

One girl on the side of him whispered if dwarf's manhood were actually smaller than normal men. The other girl with her giggled and Haera glared at them before they shutted up real quick. They knew all to well her anger.

Istrain glanced over when Haera called him over and he smiled a bit, shaking his head. Of course she'd want to do everything she could to embarrass him, especially in front of the crowd at the inn. He walked over, pulling up a seat beside her. "I was looking for some pleasant company, but I suppose I'm stuck with you," he said before turning his gaze towards the man behind the counter, offering a smile. "I'll have whatever she's having," he said calmly. He was a man who could easily handle his liquor, especially considering his smaller stature, and he had no intentions of letting Haera outdrink him today.

Haera huffed, "Did you see how he had to climb up on the chair? I can't.." She laughed. She had a few ales before he got there and then downing that hard stuff was coming on her fast. Birger nodded when the small man said he would have what Haera was having and smirked. He poured the man a tall glass of a red liquid, thick like blood. It was mixed with different plants and herbs. How Haera managed it was something else. "So... little man... give us some of your stories. You have traveled, yes? You must have stories." She said and crossed her legs. Birger cleaned a glass and watched the two, eager to hear the story or stories.

Istrain smiled, shaking his head. He could see that Haera was already a little bit tipsy, so he could forgive her decision to call him out in front of the entire bar. He eyed the drink curiously before taking a swig, nodding slightly. That was good stuff. His hazel eyes shifted over to Haera when she asked about his stories and he smiled a bit. "I have some stories. What kind of story do you want? Fight stories, hookup stories, weird and random stories?" He had plenty of each, though he already knew that no matter what story he told, Haera would say that it sucked.

Haera looked at Birger who just looked at her and shrugged. "Well the hook ups are obvi false. Only the very drunk and blind would settle for you. Tis okay, it happens to the... best of other people." She smiled. "Hmm tell us a weird and random one." She said and took a sip from her new filled glass. The more she drank the better looking her got and the better looking he got the more she wondered what was under those clothes, but she knew Birger would take her away before that would happen, the have his way with her. Like she liked it. Though she was actually interested in his story. If he was good with words or just a small shit talker.

Istrain took another long drink, actually feeling quite pleased that he'd agreed to come here. He had no idea what he was drinking, but it was strong and it was good, so he didn't much care. He paused to think for a moment, and then nodded. "Okay. Here's one. There's a small town near the entrance to the underground city I grew up in - it's where my sister stayed before leaving to come here, and I stayed there a while, too. So one evening I needed to clear my head, and I went for a walk in the woods outside of town. I ended up running into this pair of guys having a few drinks, so I sit with them a while. Eventually one of them says he knows a great little tavern in the next town over, so we pack up and head there, and it was great. Tiniest village you'd ever seen, but the tavern was packed and everybody was having a good time. They had music, women, food, and it seemed like an endless supply of drinks. It was great."

He paused for a moment, smirking as he recalled the events of that evening. "It was a great time, I ended up staying the night with some blonde in her room. So morning comes and I wake up - and keep in mind, I'm hung over as shit but I'm definitely awake and aware of what's going on - and I'm still in the tavern, girl's sound asleep, but then the two guys I met the night before come barging in and tell me that we've got to get out of here. I don't know why, but I get up and go with them and we end up back at the spot near the first town where we met the night before. So now they're laughing and I don't know why, so I ask what's going on and they just wink and tell me that the next time I'm looking for a good time, to just come by the tavern and ask for them. Said their names were Tad and Joseph, which sounded normal enough, so then they go on their way and I head back to the town I'm staying in."

"So a few nights later, I decide I want to meet up with them, so I grab a few bottles of my good stuff to share since they're good guys and I get going. I shit you not, I walked around for almost two hours trying to find this little village. I ended up right back where I started, so I head to the inn there and ask the innkeeper about the village nearby with the lively tavern. He gets a weird look on his face and he asks who sent me, so I tell him I'm looking for Tad and Joseph. He just stares at me and asks if I'm joking, because if I am, he says, it's a pretty disgusting joke. I tell him I honestly have no idea what he's talking about, and he tells me the village nearby with the nightlife tavern burned down some twenty-odd years ago. I tell him there's no fucking way, of course, since I was just there a few nights ago, and this guy just grabs my wrist and tells me if I ever see those bastards Tad and Joseph again, to turn and run the opposite direction until I'm far, far away. I still have no clue what the hell happened, and I never saw them or the village again." Finished, he took another long swig of his drink. He knew Haera was going to hate the story, but it was weird and random just like she'd asked for.

Haera listened and at first she thought she was going to snooze off, but then it started to get interesting. Birger was listening while serving drinks and notice the way Haera leaned in, which meant he had her interest. The fact that she was giving any dwarf male a piece of her time was astounding enough, but to be listening to his story with such curiosity made him wonder if she was going soft or if he had something about him that made him different. Either way it was a sight to see, if he was lying she was going to smash his face in. If he was honest she might leave and go find this place he spoke of. Then he realized that he didn't want Haera to leave. "So... is this actually true? Or are you just a really good story teller? Tell me, what is your job." He asked.

Haera snapped out of it, "I mean it was pretty boring in the beginning, but the longer it went the better it got. So story or truth... it was pretty interesting, Bir." She said and smirked up at him. Her buzz had come down some while Istrain was talking so she could see that he didn't want her to leave so he was trying to get her annoyed or pissed off with the dwarf man. Haera wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. So even if the story was true she wouldn't be leaving. Plus she had some catching up to do with her best buddy. "But maybe I shouldn't lean in since the kid over here has a thing for blondes." She said with a wink at Istrain before tapping the glass.

Istrain smirked slightly when they asked him whether or not it was true. That meant that Haera hadn't hated it. Now she was just trying to find fault in it by disproving the story. "All true, I swear," he said with a shake of his head. "Strangest fucking thing that's ever happened to me." He chuckled a bit when he heard Haera's comment about him having a thing for blondes. "I have a thing for almost all the ladies, sweetheart. You're just not one of them," he said before returning her wink and taking another long drink. By now he'd almost emptied the glass, and his hazel eyes shifted now to the big, handsome man behind the counter. "I've gotta ask what it is that we're drinking. This is good stuff," he said approvingly.

Haera laughed when he said she wasn't one of them. "Oh good, then I don't have to break your heart and tell you I like fucking things I can feel." She said and looked back at Birger and smiled. "Yeah tell him what we are drinking." She said. Birger looked at her and flicked her nose. "Suck my dick, Hae." He said and she laughed. "I told you I would later when the damn bar closed." She said and looked back at him. "It is called Fuil Fìon... which means blood wine." She said with a bit of a smile. "Thick like blood but more like wine... just the alcohol level is super high." She said tapped her glass and stopped him when it was half full. "Birger made it himself." She said proudly. "Yeah and usually it is Haera who nearly drinks it all." He said and winked at her. Haera laughed, "Ohhh look at how he is looking at you Birger... sure he wants a piece of that ass." She said. Birger laughed, "That's cute, but as pretty as you are, Istrian... you just aren't my type." He said and walked away to tend to a customer.

Haera laughed and looked at him, "So... how many of these drinks do you think you can hold?" She asked, almost competitively.
