Ivie is the third child to Harry and Bella Kirkson. She has an older brother and sister, Daniel and Jasmine. Her parents have a tavern that has been passed down from generation to generation. Ivie was a fun and wild child. She loved to play outdoors and explore everything around her. Ivie was the apple of her father's eye. He put her on such a high pedestal. She was one of the smartest kid's in her class. She did was in multiple clubs and even helped out with the community.
Ivie visited the King and Queen to be honored by them for her hard work. When she wasn't out and helping people she helped her parents in their tavern as a waitress. Her father was the head bartender and her mother cooked. She loved working there. Ivie got to meet knew people and enjoyed the regulars. She hadn't expected to fall so fast for Atlas, the mysterious broken hearted man that came in almost every night. He was sweet and made her feel like she was special. But after one night everything changed. Atlas had a little more than he should have and Ivie decided to help help him home.
It was a mess, but she enjoyed it. He talked about the stars and how people never seemed to care about them anymore. Then he talked about his favorite books. They ended up walking everywhere trying to find his home and it was enough for him to sober up somewhat. Ivie hadn't expect to be kissed. She hadn't expected him to invite her in. And she hadn't expect to give herself away that night, but she did so willingly. The next morning when she woke he was gone. He didn't even leave a note. She was heartbroken, but she threw herself into her work and studies.
Ivie had been doing fine, she had gotten over that night, and was even holding an event for a local children's group when she started to get ill. After puking for a few days her friends suggested she was pregnant. She told them about that night and they decided to try and keep it secret for as long as possible. Her mother was the first to notice that she was wearing baggier clothes. At five months her mother told her father. They were disgusted with her and threw her out. They disowned her. She stayed with friends until the baby was born and worked with them until she left. She couldn't be there anymore and she had to find Atlas. He had to know his son and what he was missing out on. She hated him, but she wanted her son to have a father. So she moved and traveled until she found him on the islands.
