Kiora grew up with her mother and father, they were traveling merchants from another kingdom who had traveled here to scout out new trade routes. Her parents fell in love with the new kingdom and decided to stay. As a child Kiora and followed along with you parents as they traveled from place to place on the islands and found it hard to make friends. The lack of interaction with kids her age turned her a tad bit shy and wary of others. When she was fifteen her parents had just traveled to the outskirts of the kingdom towards the famous Veritas islands. She was sent out to pick up an item from a trade her parents set up and was lured away and kidnapped, then sold into the sex trade, prized for her beauty and young appearance. This is where she met a boy she'd come to grow close to. He was younger than she was, but he would come to be her only light in the cruel world they had been sold into. When they were older the boy got them both out, he worked hard ensuring that Kiora was taken care of and he did what he could to make her happy after all theyd been through. Kiora started feeling an overwhelming sense of guilt. This man she loved so much, the only person she trusted, had sacrificed so much to protect her, taken beatings and torture to keep her as unharmed as he could, and she couldnt help him too. The guilt consed her and suffocated her thoughts until she couldnt take it anymore. She disappeared in the night, returning to the only lifestyle she knew. Since she returned the guilt only grew, Kiora turned to drugs as an escape, bringing about an unhealthy addiction.
