Name: Rhyanid Idophio Menidaeus | Age: 25 | Gender: Male | Species: Elf | Sexuality: Straight | Height: 6'8" | Weight: 220lbs
Pronunciation: Ryan-id | Skin colour: Dark brown | Hair colour: Dark brown | Eye colour: Dark magenta | Trade/Job: Animal trainer

Appearance:
Standing at six feet and eight inches in height, Rhyanid weighs about 220 lbs and has dark brown skin. His build is slightly muscular. As an elf, he has long, pointed ears. He has slightly narrow eyes that are a dark magenta colour and low, thin eyebrows. He has a narrow nose that is turned slightly downwards. He has wide, slightly thin lips that curl upwards a bit at the edges. His hair is a dark brown colour and he keeps it in long braids that come down just past his shoulders. He has a scar near his throat and another on his chin, as well as a large one on his left forearm. Rhyanid generally wears comfortable jeans or sweatpants and plain t-shirts.

Personality:
Rhyanid is a laidback, easygoing guy who's generally relaxed and in a good mood. He's friendly, outgoing, and cheerful. Rhyanid doesn't tend to let things bother him and likes to let things go. He has a stern side since he trains animals, and he's a fan of instruction, discipline, and routine. He's a bit of a sucker for romance, and when he dates, he's as cheesy as they come. He loves his family fiercely, and though he'd like to be protective of Zelipia, he knows that she can take care of herself and he tries to keep out of her business. He's an animal lover; while he loves all animals, dogs are his favourites, and he has a golden retriever named Sadie.

History/Bio:
Rhyanid was born in a nomadic elven tribe to his mother, Lanissa, and his father, Eriato. He had an older sister named Illyana who was six years older than him when he was born. The first three years of his life were normal for a child of his age. His father was crippled in a hunting accident when Rhyanid was a year old and became an invalid, while his mother was a trader who would take elven goods such as meat, jewelry, fish, and other crafted items into the human settlements to sell and trade them to humans. Rhyanid and Illyana were mostly raised by their uncle, since their mother was usually away and their father was unable to tend to them. When Rhyanid was three, Lanissa fell pregnant. At the beginning of her pregnancy, there was a lot of debate among the tribe about whether or not Eriato could possibly be the father, since people doubted that he was capable of performing due to his disabilities. Eriato and Lanissa both said that they engaged in relations, however, so people accepted that the baby was legitimate - until it was born with human ears.

After Rhyanid and Illyana's baby sister was born, Eriato and Lanissa were forced to tell the tribe the truth - Lanissa had been sleeping with a human in one of the towns she visited frequently, and the baby was actually his. Eriato couldn't actually perform because of his injuries, and he'd lied to protect his wife because he felt guilty that his inability to sleep with her had driven her into the arms of another man. The tribe was furious with Lanissa for lying with a man outside of her marriage, and they banished her from the tribe along with the new baby, whom she had named Zelipia. Eriato was permitted to stay in the tribe because he was a man of some rank, and because he was an invalid and the tribe couldn't send him out into the world in good conscience. Lanissa took Rhyanid with her despite the protests of the rest of the tribe, but Illyana chose to stay in the tribe with her father, uncle, and friends.

Lanissa moved to the floating islands with her two children, heartbroken about losing Illyana and Eriato. She swore off dating, deciding that she was going to focus on raising her two children and providing them with the best life she could. Learning about human life was difficult, but the children figured it out easily and enjoyed themselves growing up on the islands. Lanissa was welcomed into the home of an elderly elven woman who took pity on her for being kicked out of her tribe, having been through something similar when she'd been younger, and the elderly woman watched the children while Lanissa worked two jobs. She worked hard and saved up money until, when Rhyanid and Zelipia were ten and seven years old, she was able to afford to open up a pet shop. The elderly woman passed away two years later, leaving Lanissa the little home they'd shared in her will.

Rhyanid didn't care much for school; he tried, but he never really did well. He just wasn't too concerned with it. He knew he had a good job secured since he intended to work at his mother's pet shop, and he helped out around the shop whenever she would let him. He had a way with the animals that intrigued his mother, so she asked him to help her with training the animals and they discovered that he had a knack for it. When he was sixteen, he started officially working for his mother as an animal trainer, and hasn't looked back.

Rhyanid dated casually all through his teenage years, but it wasn't until he was twenty-one that he started dating a young woman for whom he had real, deep feelings. They dated for a year and a half before he proposed, but the girl panicked and turned him down, saying she wasn't ready for that yet. Rhyanid was heartbroken, but he tried to put it behind him and move on. He focused on the pet shop instead, helping out his aging mother and training the animals, all the while hoping that one day he'd meet a good woman to marry and give him children.

So begins...

Osmond chuckled, "Well you do look good with blushing cheeks, babe. That is how we got the kids in the first place, damn." He smirked and got seated. He watched the two talk about things and he found out the beautiful purple haired woman's occupation. So she worked with animals. It wasn't bad and it seemed like something she would do. He watched the place to see what others were doing and saying. Some of them looked them over and he smirked before leaning down, "Hey you three wanna pretend you all are mine since we getting stares?" He asked.

Talila looked up at Lychee and nodded, "Yeah." she said softly. "I told you... he saved us." She said and smiled before laughing. "Your sister might." She said and looked at Isla. "Can I hold him?" She asked and Isla nodded. The boy went to her and clung to her like a little monkey. "Aww you are the sweetest. Ugh I want him." She laughed and Isla shook his head. "Will you have him for a bit? I would like to see if anyone is hiring." She said softly. "Of course... I love babies and fruit." She smiled. "Oh! You love fish, yeah? There is an opening at the pet store. Just take a left here and go all the way down till you hit a Dale and turn on that then three stores down is the shop." She said and smiled. "Thank you so much. I will be back as soon as possible." She said and thanked them again before leaving the diaper bag and running off.

Isla took the directions and found the shop. When she went in no one was there, "Hello?" She called out softly before walking away and gasping, "Oh look how gorgeous. Oscar, Guppies, Mollies, Cherry Barb, Pearl Gourami, Swordtails, Discus, and Goldfish! Ugh you guys are so pretty!" She giggled.

Zelipia smirked at Osmond's comment about her blushing cheeks being how they got the kids in the first place. "You'd best watch it, babe, or we might end up with some more," she teased back. She rather liked this bodyguard fellow. She was going to have to find more excuses to run with Priscilla and Yoranda if it meant seeing him more often. When he leaned in and asked them to pretend they were all his, she smirked a bit. "I'm down," she said, and Yoranda giggled a bit. "I'm in, although I suspect that means I'm the one that's gonna have to come around there and sit in ya damn lap since I'm the smallest," she said with a bit of a smirk. Priscilla sighed, shaking her head. "I'm going to have to sit here and pretend I don't know any of you," she said.

Elizabeth nodded a bit when Talila reiterated that James had saved them. She was quiet while Talila told her friend that they'd watch the kid and that the pet shop was hiring, and once she was gone, she looked over at Talila. "She's really small," she commented with a smile. She wanted to joke that she could see why they'd become close, but she knew that height was a sensitive subject for Talila and she'd rather not upset her girlfriend. "So... does this mean we're girlfriends now? Because I don't think we've made this official yet," she said with a bit of a smirk.

Rhyanid was in the back room of the pet shop sorting some paperwork. It was his mother's day off and he was supposed to be running the shop with Zelipia, but his sister had wandered off and he hadn't seen her in almost an hour now, He heard the door open and then a voice called out, so he gently set aside his paperwork and stood up. He headed out into the front room just in time to hear the voice gushing over the fish, and he blinked slightly. "Sounds like you sure know your fish," he commented as he walked towards her, smiling a little. "Is there something I can help you with?"

Osmond smiled and shook his head, "Have you seen how these two dress? We can't afford anymore, but I am not opposed to doing the ritual to get said more babies." He winked and then looked at Yora and patted his lap. "It is all yours to sit on." He smirked before chuckling at Priscilla. "As your bodyguard, I have to tell you to sit closer to me since it is safer." He smiled.

Talila looked over at Lychee and nodded, "She is... " She said before going deal with a customer. When she came back and the older woman asked if they were girlfriends she smiled and swayed with James. "I would really like to be your girlfriend, Lychee." It was the truth. She had kissed her in front of a bunch of people, she wasn't about to take that back when she felt something for the woman. "I mean... that is if you like... we don't have to me... I know you live really far away and stuff." She said softly and hug the boy softly.

Isla looked up when she heard the man talking and smiled. "Oh yes! I love fish and had an aquarium for a long time. Even worked at one when I was younger." She said excitedly and when he asked if there was something he could help her with she nodded. "Ahh yes, I just moved here and a friend of mine had said that you were looking to hire someone. I am great with animals and I know all about fish. I can name you all of the fish starting from A and ending at Z. I can tell you how each fish likes their water. Who are okay with who. When they are sick. I work really hard and will do my best every day." She said softly.

Zelipia smirked when Osmond said he would be okay with the baby-making ritual. "Yeah, like hell can we afford any more of these. They're more trouble than they're work," she laughed, nodding at Priscilla and Yoranda. "But hey, babe, maybe when you're done bodyguarding for the day you can come find me and we'll pretend to make some more," she added with a wink. Yoranda got up from her seat and came around to sit in Osmond's lap with a smirk. "I think you just got asked out," she whispered into his ear, trying hard not to laugh. Priscilla sighed and shook her head. "You're going to be the death of me, goodness... just so long as moving closer isn't going to get back to James and upset him enough to change bodyguards, because I rather enjoy your company," she said, and Yoranda laughed. "If James hears about this nonsense and gets pissed then I'mma march my ass over there and tell him to lighten up myself. Well, I mean, not alone, though... I'll take Amell with me. Since, you know, I don't do the whole alone with James thing any more," she said, and Priscilla nodded. "That's fair," she said.

Elizabeth waited back while Talila handled the customer. When she was asked about being girlfriends and Talila said she would like that, Elizabeth couldn't help but to grin. "I'd really like that, too," she replied softly. She meant what she had said the night before about the age gap becoming increasingly less of an issue, and she especially couldn't deny the connection she had with Talila. She'd been out on dates before, she'd kissed men and women alike, but nothing had ever felt like what she experienced with Talila. She stood up from the chair and went over, leaning down and softly kissing Talila's nose, figuring a full-on kiss while she was busy carrying a baby wasn't the best idea.

Rhyanid smiled when the small girl said that she had worked at an aquarium when she was younger. She must have been older than she looked, he figured. Dwarves were tricky like that. He nodded a bit when she said she was looking for a job. "That's great. We do have a position we need filled. It's just a sales clerk position, so you'd be handling the customers and their money and paperwork, but there would probably be things with the animals we'd get you to help with when it's not busy," he said. "Here, come on into the back with me and I'll get you an application form. You can sit at my desk and fill it out - we always see people trying to bend over and fill it out on whatever hard surface is closest, but it just makes more sense to sit," he laughed, nodding for her to follow him before opening the door to the back, holding it for the small girl.

Osmond smirked but waited to answer after the dwarf climbed on his lap. She was beyond tiny on him. "Dear god... look at you and your tininess. I would keep you if I could." He said before laughing. "Oh have I? I just knew someone would dig the vampire look. Who knew it would be by someone as gorgeous as this one. Well, I am going to have to accept your offer. You seem like you are going to be my favorite past time." He smirked before looking at the girl he was babysitting. "Look here, Miss Prissy... you sitting close to me will make him cock an eyebrow at most. Sitting on me like THIS one well... that we would have to keep a secret." He chuckled. The people in the restaurant looked over at them. Some concerned and some kind of disgusted. A waitress came by and nervously asked for their drinks and handed them their menus. Once she was gone he poked the dwarf's cheeks and couple times, "was this the girl you were trying to set me up with, Miss Prissy? Have you seen how tall I am and how tiny she is? I could have broken her. Look at her face, Miss Prissy." He said and gently made her look at the girl before gently pressing her face. "You don't want this cute girl broken... I mean... I bet Miss Zel could barely handle me as is." He smirked and winked back at her.

Tailia smiled happily and James clapped for the two before giggling. The elf about died at his cuteness but then Lychee snapped her out of it by kissing her nose. "Oh no... you play dirty. You know I had a baby in my arms AND I was distracted by his cuteness. Oh nos." She laughed softly and reached up with one hand to gently rub her cheek. "Thank you for not thinking I am so weird small elf and giving me a chance." She said softly before bouncing with the boy. James looked up at Lychee and made grabby hands. "Ohhh someone wants ya...well besides me." She smirked.

Isla smiled a bit, listening to what he had to say. She was a bit iffy about going anywhere in close spaces with an elf man. Dover was an elf and she had trusted him. She also didn't think he could be the way he was when he took her so she didn't trust this elf as far as she could throw him. Isla followed him and hesitated to walk in the back. She needed this job. She needed to be able to support her and James. Isla only had a bit of money left to last her for a few more weeks, a month at that, so she needed to get to work. She pushed the fear away as best as she could and walked in. "You... you uhm... run this place by yourself?" She asked, trying not to sound scared and nervous. She hoped the conversation would help calm her down.

Yoranda giggled when he commented on how tiny she was. "I guess it's a good thing I didn't bring my twin. You couldn't have handled all that tininess," she tased. Zelipia tried to fight back the urge to grin when Osmond accepted her offer, a little surprised but thoroughly pleased. "Oh, my, Shady, those are some high expectations. Favourite pastime... guess I'm gonna have to live up to the hype. Girls, guess who's getting laid tonight," she laughed. Yoranda blinked, and then sighed. "For the first time, I'm in a group of girls and I'm the only one not getting laid tonight," she said. Priscilla scooted a bit closer to Osmond as per his request, shaking her head a bit. "Still gonna pretend like I don't know you," she said.

When Osmond asked if Yoranda was the girl she'd been trying to set him up with, Yoranda blinked. "You were trying to set us up?" she asked, and Priscilla shrugged. "I tried a little. He was teasing me about making him fall for me and upsetting James, and I suggested you," she said. Yoranda laughed softly, and then looked up at Osmond. "Trust me, if I could handle James and Luther I can handle you," she said, and Priscilla smirked. "Did you handle James, though?" she asked, and Yoranda crinkled up her nose. "Listen here, Prissy, it's not that I couldn't handle him, it's that I told him no and he did it anyways. Big difference," she said, sticking her tongue out.

Elizabeth couldn't help but to laugh at the way the little baby clapped, as if applauding them on being in an official relationship, and she smirked a bit when Talila teased her about playing dirty. She nodded when she thanked her for giving her a chance. "Oh, don't get me wrong, I still think you're a weird small elf, but it's a really sweet and endearing kind of weird," she said. When James started to reach for her and Talila commented that he wanted her, though, she blinked slightly. "I, uh, probably shouldn't. I'm not great with kids," she said, shaking her head.

Rhyanid propped the door to the back room open after holding it for the girl, heading inside and starting to rummage around in one of the desk drawers. When she asked if he ran the place by himself, he glanced up. "Oh, no, it's my mother's shop," he said. "Today is her day off, though. My sister's supposed to be helping me, but she ran off, who knows where?" he laughed. He pulled out a couple pieces of paper and stapled them together before grabbing a pen, setting the pen and papers down on the desk. "Okay, here's an application form. My mother does all the interviewing and hiring, so once you've filled it out we can schedule you in for an interview tomorrow since she's not in today. The application should be straightforward - it's just personal information, availability, job history, education, and references. Typical resume stuff. Any questions, just ask," he said before grabbing a stack of papers off the desk and heading over to a filing cabinet nearby to start filing the papers away.

Osmond patted the dwarf's head softly. "I don't mind an extra lady, but someone is going to be busy later on. Tis tis." He smirked and looked over at Zel. "Guess you are getting all the attention tonight. Aren't you lucky?" He smirked before looking at the menu. "Well damn, Zel, you aren't on the menu." He sighed.

Talila playfully glared at the older woman and sighed. "Well... if you like it in okay with it." She said and when James started to cry she looked up at her. "Holding him isn't going to hurt you, Lychee. He obviously wants to be held by you." She said softly and held him up for her to take.

Isle listened and smiled, "A family business. That's cute." She said softly and watched him. If he made any omnious movements she was running. "Thank you. I can do tomorrow. What time shall I come in so I can make sure I can get a babysitter." She said softly before starting on her application.

Yoranda sighed when Osmond pointed out that she would be busy later, nodding. "Yep. You two get to go fuck, Priscilla gets to go home to fuck James, and I get to go tell the man who raped and beat me that I'm carrying his children. Such fun," she said, and Zelipia reached over to pat the dwarf on the hand reassuringly. "You'll be fine, Yora. You're a boss bitch. You've got this," she said. All three girls laughed at Osmond's comment about Zelipia not being on the menu. "I'm sure we can write a new menu later," she told him with a wink.

Priscilla looked over at Yoranda at her comment about going home to fuck James. "Why do you assume that?" she asked, and Yoranda blinked slightly. "Uhh... because it's James. What else would he do with you? Does he cook you romantic candlelit dinners and slow dance with you in the living room? Does he take you out for a walk by the lake and surprise you with a little rowboat he rented out for the two of you for the night? No, because he's James," she said. Priscilla blinked and went quiet. She knew Yoranda was right.

Elizabeth laughed a little at Talila's words, nodding. "I do like it," she said simply. She blinked when the boy kept reaching for her and started getting fussy, sighing when the little elf told her to just take him. "Okay, but he will figure out quickly that this is a bad call on his part," she said, and tentatively took the baby from Talila, holding him a little awkwardly since she wasn't accustomed to holding children.

Rhyanid chuckled when she said how cute it was that they were a family business and he nodded. "Yep. Our mother saved up for years to start this place. I have a feeling my mother is going to like you," he said. When she asked what time to come in tomorrow so she could schedule a babysitter, he blinked. "Let me check her schedule for tomorrow," he said, closing the filing cabinet and walking over to the desk. He picked up a sheet of paper on one corner of the desk and looked over it. "Let's see...she has an appointment to visit some dog breeders in the afternoon, so she'll probably be gone the whole afternoon... how does ten in the morning work?" he asked, looking over at the tiny girl.

Osmond laughed at Zel and winked, "i really wanted tobruin lunch with dessert. How rude." He said before he blinked at the dwarf on him. She was so carefree with such things. When she started going on about James he flicked her forehead. "Cut it out. He shows her he cares in different ways. How does your men show they care? Every relationship is different, kid." He said and picked her up like she was nothing and placed her on the side. "James loves you dearly enough that he rather you be safe. He has his ways of showing things. He has things planned that I am sure this one's invisible man hasn't even thought of. Remember the strawberries." He smiled.

Talila shook her head. "Just hold him in your hips and rub his back. I know you have hips. I have seen them." She said softly and went to help a customer. James looked up at Lychee and giggled. "Mamaa" he said.

Isle smiled softly when he said his mother might like her, "I sure hope so... Really need a job since it is only me and my son." She said softly, not knowing why she told him that. She had finished the first page and looked up at him again when he talked about the time to come in. "Ten sounds lovely. Thank you!" She said and smiled before going back to her application.

Yoranda blinked when Osmond flicked her forehead, sticking her tongue out at him as he set her down. Priscilla smiled a bit when Osmond reminded her that James loved her as much as he did. "I know, I know," she said softly, shrugging a bit. "But, I mean, Yora's right...a little cheesy romance would be nice from time to time," she said, and Yoranda smirked, but didn't say anything. Zelipia smirked a little. "Look at you, Shady, going all dad on her. That's pretty hot," she said, twirling one purple curl around her finger absent-mindedly as she eyed him, a hungry look in her eyes. Priscilla looked between the two of them and shook her head slightly.

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow when Talila said to hold the baby on her hips, not really sure how she was supposed to keep him upright if she was supposed to be rubbing his back too. When the baby looked up at her and said mama, she blinked. "Oh, noo," she said quickly. "Noo. I'm not mama. I don't really even know your mama. I'm Elizabeth. E-liz-a-beth. Elizabeth," she said, frowning a bit.

Rhyanid nodded when she said she really needed the job. "Yeah, I'm sure she'll get that. Don't tell her I mentioned this, but she's been on her own with me and my sister ever since right after my sister was born. She'll probably go all mushy and be like 'Oh, I see so much of myself in this girl!' and think you're the best thing to happen to this store," he said with a chuckle. He nodded when she said that ten would work. "Perfect. I'll jot it down here, then," he said. He moved towards the side of the desk where she was, carefully reaching past her to open a drawer and get out another pen so he could write down on the schedule that his mother had an interview at ten.

Osmond shook his head, "To expect someone to do something one does not normally do is foolish. You want something? Get it yourself or hint it to him. Don't sit here acting like he should do something he isn't used to. Okay? Don't ever go into a relationship thinking a man or woman knows everything you would want or like. Or you end up alone." He said and shrugged before looking at Zel, "I have two children. I would be concerned if I didn't go all dad." He smirked and shook his head. "Me and my damn oldness." He sighed and thanked the waitress when they got the food.

Talila had to keep from laughing while helping a customer out. Poppa Lee shook his head, "Girl... give me that baby." He sighed and gently took him from the woman. James blinked and looked at the old man before looking back at Elizabeth, confused on how this all happened before the old man cooed at him and James giggled. "You do it like this." He said and held the boy and rubbed his back as he cooed. "How you gonna give us grandbabies?" He sighed. "Cherry has a handful." He smirked.

Isla laughed softly, "Well... I only have the one and for a woman as strong as her to say she sees herself in me... well I would be honored." She said softly. "I am only really good with fish... like... I know by the color of the water that you need to take half out and fill it with fresh water while cleaning the inside of the filter. If you don't your fish are going to suffer and then customers are going to be angry that their fish have died so soon." She said softly. Her eyes watched him come to her side and when he reached past her she shot back. Fear in her eyes clearly gave her away and she shook her head when she saw the pen. "Sorry.." She said softly and looked down at her application.

Priscilla quietly nodded a bit when Osmond told her that she should find a way to let James know what she wanted. Yoranda was right, after all - those things sounded romantic as anything, and she'd love more romance in their relationship. The most romantic he got was when he gently bathed her after they were done, although even that had been happening less lately and he'd pretty much just been sending her off to clean herself up like he had this morning. Yoranda blinked at Osmond's comment about ending up alone. "You sound like you're speaking from experience," she said. Zelipia smirked a little at his comment about having two children. "So, what kind of mom does that make me? Seeing as how I just told Yora that she's a boss bitch. Maybe I shouldn't be a mom," she giggled. Yoranda eyed her slightly. "If one of these twins is a little girl then you'd best believe I'm reminding her every damn day that she's a boss bitch," she said. Priscilla smirked a bit. "I'm sure Una would have taken that well if your mother had done that to the two of you," she said, and Yoranda giggled.

Elizabeth was relieved when the old man came and took the baby from her, letting him take James and smirking a bit with amusement at the little boy's reaction. She was quiet while he held the kid, blinking when the topic of grandbabies came up. That...sounded like it might be a concern for Talila's parents. She knew that Talila's brother had seemingly been encouraging them, especially with the way he'd mouthed at her to go to the market with Talila this morning, but would her parents be happy with her ending up with someone who could never give her kids? She was quiet, a bit unsure of herself now.

Rhyanid chuckled when she said that she'd be honoured if his mother said she saw herself in her. "Oh, she'll say it. Trust me. I know my mother," he said with a smirk. He smiled a bit when she commented that they needed to refresh the water in the fishtanks. "Funny that you say that, because my sister was supposed to be doing that today. Except she hates doing it, which is probably why she skipped out on me," he said. "Which I guess means I'm cleaning some filters after you leave," he added with a grin. He got the pen from the drawer, blinking when the girl scooted away from him. He looked a bit confused, but nodded when she apologized. "It's all good," he said, and wrote down on the schedule that there was an interview at ten. He set the pen down on the desk instead of reaching across again to put it away, and then headed back over to the filing cabinet to get back to work on filing away his papers.

Osmond sighed, "I am an old man, I should have some damn experience. Zel might have some by the end of the night. Who knows. If she is a good girl by the end of this." He smirked. Osmond was going to love the island if he could get laid the same damn day he arrived.

Talila came back and blinked, "Didn't you have a baby?" She asked and looked around and saw who he was with. "Look you..." She smiled at her. She saw the older woman had a look to her face. "I am sorry for making you hold him... but he really wanted you..." She said softly and twiddled with her fingers nervously.

Isla smiled and nodded about his sister, "Not everyone is into the tanks. They can be heavy and time-consuming." She said softly and finished up her application, glancing up to see where he was at. When she was done she stood up. "H-Here you go." She smiled and handed it to him. "I will be here ten sharp. I promise." She said softly.

Yoranda nodded a bit when he said he had experience. "Well, I'm sorry you lost her. Breaking up sucks," she said with a sigh and a shake of her head. Zelipia nodded her agreement, smirking when he commented that she might have some experience by the end of the night. She blinked at his comment about being a good girl. "Whoa there, Shady, a good girl? Nah, babe, I think you've got me all wrong," she said with a wicked little smirk. Priscilla eyed them a bit. "You two just met," she said, and Zelipia nodded. "Well, yeah. That's the best kind of fuck. All the mystery's still there, and Shady here looks just rife with mystery," she giggled.

Elizabeth blinked when Talila came back and asked if she'd had a baby. "Well...yeah," she said, nodding a bit when Talila spotted James. She shrugged a bit when Talila apologized for making her hold the baby. "It's okay. I'm just not good with kids. I'm never around them or anything, so I've never learned," she explained with a smile. She'd been the only kid at the shipyard growing up, she'd been the youngest member of her crew when her stepfather had started taking her out on the sea, and neither sailing nor knighthood was a life for children to be around, so she never even saw the children of the people she worked with.

Rhyanid chuckled when the girl commented that most people weren't into the tanks. "Luckily, heavy and time-consuming is what I excel at," he said with a grin. He looked over when she stood up, smiling and taking the application from her. He gave it a quick once-over to make sure everything was in order, and he nodded. "Ten it is... Isla. That's a pretty name," he said, reading her name off the application and looking up at her. "I'll see you in the morning," he said. "Don't tell my mother I said this, but honestly, I hope you get the job. We could use someone like you who already has knowledge and experience - and passion, too, that's a big one," he told her, grinning a bit.

Osmond shrugged, "Shit happens, young women are nothing but babies still in training undies... hence why I don't fuck with them. I mean... I will fuck with HER, but she seems a little more mature." He smiled and finished up his food. The woman looked like she could be fun and a half. When Priscilla made that comment he laughed a hearty laugh. "Oh... I can't... I am going to have to fight James for you... or maybe not. I heard he got stronger and he was a pain in the ass last time we fought." He sighed.

Talila didn't know what to do with that information. If Isla and James were moving here she was going to probably have the boy around a lot. Would she be comfortable or would she try to make her pick? She smiled softly and was going to take James but Momma Jay got a hold of him. "Oh my gosh look at his tiny face, ugh... reminds me of my babies." She sighed and Talila smiled softly at the scene.

Isla blushed a bit when he compliments her name, "Thank you..." She said softly. When he said that he hoped she got the job she giggled a bit. "Me too... it sounds like a lovely job honestly." She said. "I mean... I never had a cat or dog as a pet... well kind of. We had a lot of 'strays' but the Islanders took care of them all so we never really HAD them." She smiled. "I did have lot so fish pets though! And a dolphin! I mean... kind of... it would come around a lot where I would go to be by myself on the shore." She giggled and got wide eyed. "Sorry... I am taking much of your time." She said softly.

Zelipia laughed when Osmond said he'd fuck with her and that she seemed a little more mature. "Mature? Oh, boy, you really do have me wrong," she teased with a laugh before getting to her food. Priscilla blinked at Osmond's reaction, shaking her head a bit. "All I said was that you two just met. But, I mean, I guess if that works for you," she said, and Yoranda snapped her fingers. "That's the spirit, Priscilla. Whatever works for them, works for them. If they wanna hook up tonight after he drops you back off to James then they'll damn well do it and it doesn't matter if they're married or not," she said, and Priscilla eyed her a bit. "Believe me, I was over the purity-until-marriage thing when I met Elizabeth," she said with a shake of her head before glancing at Zelipia, who was giving her a curious look. "Elizabeth is my sister. Half-sister, because apparently my dad didn't practice what he preached and he got some girl pregnant before he even met my mother," she said, and Zelipia nodded. "Ahh. That's shitty. It's better than having your sister with some other lady while he was married. That's actually why I have a different dad from my brother," she laughed.

Elizabeth laughed a little when Momma Jay got her hands on the baby before Talila did. It was cute. She got up from her chair and went over to Talila, gently taking her hand and leaning over to place a soft kiss on her cheek. "I guess I should probably get my sister to show me a thing or two, shouldn't I? She talks all the damn time about James's daughter, so maybe they'd let me learn about babies with James's," she suggested with a bit of a shrug. James's daughter was probably bigger than this little baby, so she'd be able to put up with Elizabeth not knowing what she was doing.

Rhyanid smiled when she said that it sounded like a lovely job, listening intently when she talked about the animals she'd had before. His deep violet eyes went wide when she said that she'd had a dolphin, grinning a bit. "Oh, no, don't apologize! A dolphin sounds so cool," he said. "Well, luckily cats and dogs are pretty easy - and my sister pretty much deals with the cats on her own anyways, so you probably won't have to do much with them anyways. And I do most of the stuff dealing with the dogs, so those shouldn't be too much of a concern - but still, you'll learn," he said.

Osmond sighed, "So you are just a bad girl who is immature. Gotcha." He said and waited for everyone to finish their meals. "Okay... so how about we wrap this little show-up. It is almost over an hour and someone has to get back to work." He said and got the ticket. "Only time I am gonna get this for you girls. Can't be spoiling you three." He sighed.

Talila looked up after her cheek kiss and smiled, "Maybe so... Priscilla would have a field day with teaching you. I guess that is like her tree tour?" She laughed a bit. "Okay shoo shoo ya old farts. I want my friend's baby back." She smiled and took him back and hugged him close. "I hope your mother is doing okay." She said softly.

Isla smiled softly, "People have their own animal that speaks to them. Kind of like a spirit animal..." She said softly and looked back at the door. "I am a fast learner. I had no idea how to hook up a giant pop to a tank, but hey... now I can build one myself." She laughed a bit. "I... I should get back to my son... thanks for letting me fill out an application today. I will see you tomorrow... or well your mother at ten." She said softly and waved a bit before heading to the door.

Zelipia laughed a little when he said she was a bad girl who was immature. "You know it," she said with a smirk and a wink. "But I'm pretty sure girls like me are the most fun kind, are we not?" she added, and Yoranda snickered. "We are," she said. Priscilla shook her head a bit at them before the girls finished up their meals, and Priscilla nodded when Osmond said that she had to get back to work. "Yes, I've got things to do," she said. She blinked when Osmond took the bill. "Oh, you don't have to do that!" she told him, but Zelipia reached over and put a hand on Priscilla's arm. "Babe, you can have all the money in the world but if a man offers to pay for dinner, you damn well let him pay for dinner. And then, you know, make sure someone's planning on paying him back for it somehow later in the evening," she said with a smirk, looking over at Osmond. "Think you could find me after work if I left right now?" she asked him in a playful tone.

Elizabeth laughed when Talila said that Priscilla would have a field day teaching her, nodding. "Oh, Priscilla loves babies. It'd definitely be like her tree tour," she said with a nod. She went and sat back down after Talila took James back from the old lady, smiling when she said she hoped Isla was doing okay. "I'm sure she's fine. She's probably kicked that job opening's ass and she'll own the store by this time next week," she joked with a grin.

Rhyanid nodded when she commented on people having spirit animals. "We most certainly do," he agreed. He nodded when she said she was a fast learner. "Good," he said with a grin. He nodded when she said she should get going. "Of course. I'll see you in the morning. Oh, and thanks for coming in," he said. He watched her leave before eyeing the fishtanks and sighing. Where was his sister when she had things to do? Not here. As usual. He grumbled a bit before going to get to work on them, figuring Zelipia would probably come waltzing in right as he finished because that was, after all, what she did.

Isla was ready for her interview. She had her favorite dress on and her hair done and she headed to the shop. She was nervous for so many reasons and she really hoped she got the job. If not she would hope Talila family would hire her for something or she would have to try for a waitressing job. She walked into the shop and smiled, "Good morning." She said softly.

Rhyanid was in the front of the shop, a large box beside him. He was taking things from the box and stocking the shelves with it, mostly pet toys and accessories. He looked over when Isla came in and said good morning, and he smiled. "Hey. You're right on time," he said, standing up. "My mom's ready for you, come on in," he said, nodding for her to follow him before leading her to the door into the back room. He opened it up and held it for her to go through. His mother, Lanissa, was sitting at the desk, dressed in an outfit that was simple yet professional. Her several earrings and the fading golden tattoos on her head gleamed in the light of the back room and she looked up when Rhyanid opened the door, a smile on her lips.

Isla giggled, "Told you. Ten sharp. Very serious about getting this job." She said softly and walked with him to meet his mother. When she walked in she blinked and looked up. "Is... your mother a goddess?" She asked him, smiling softly. She was simply gorgeous. "I am sorry! Hi, I am Isla Cover." She said softly and held out her hand to shake. "Sorry for my comment... you are just really pretty." She blushed.

Rhyanid smiled approvingly when Isla said she was serious about getting this job. He held the door for her, looking down and trying not to laugh when she asked if his mother was a goddess. "Basically, yes," he joked with a grin. Lanissa stood up from the desk and moved towards them, trying not to die over how adorable this tiny dwarven girl was. She'd seen dwarves before, since there were a few around town, but this one was especially tiny and looked so cute in that dress with the fishes on it. "Hello there, Miss Cover. My name's Lanissa," she said, reaching out and shaking the small girl's hand. "Well, dear, I appreciate that. I can certainly say the same for you. Now come take a seat," she said, gesturing to the chair facing the desk. She looked at her son, who gave a nod and shut the door before heading back out to the front to get back to stocking the shelves. Lanissa went and sat down at her desk, picking up Isla's application and taking a quick look at it, though she'd already reviewed it this morning when Rhyanid had given it to her. "So, you've just move to the islands and you're looking for a job, and you've previously worked at an aquarium?" she asked.

Isla blushed and smiled. She loved her name. It matched with her goddessness. The small dwarf took her seat and looked back a bit when he left before looking forward again and smiling. She nodded, "Yes, ma'am. I worked for a few years at the aquarium back home. I also had a very large aquarium at home... it was actually larger than this room." She giggled. Isla had to do her best and make sure the woman knew she knew what she was talking about.

Lanissa smiled when the girl said that she had an aquarium back home larger than this room, nodding. "You must really like fish, then," she said with a chuckle. "So I'm assuming Rhyanid discussed with you the nature of the job? You'll essentially be working the front desk - handling customer transactions, answering questions, those sorts of things. The shifts will mostly be daytime shifts when it's busiest - Rhyan and I have been finding we need an extra set of hands, and it's a bit tricky with my daughter always disappearing when she should be working," she said, smiling and shaking her head a bit. "We'd prefer you not handle the sales of any actual animals without one of us present, as there's paperwork that must be completed, but there should always be one or both of us here. If it's not busy, there may be other things we'll ask you to help out with, such as cleaning, stocking shelves, and feeding the animals. I'm assuming you're fine with all of this?"

Isla listened and nodded. "Yes, ma'am. I can do all of those with no problem and the daytime shifts are excellent. I have a son and I will probably only be able to leave him a daycare during the day." She said softly. "But I have stocked shelves, fed animals, cleaned... and I will try my best at anything else." She said softly, her blue eyes shining.
