| Name: Yoranda Natuvia Garmold | Age: 18 | Gender: Female | Sexuality: Straight | Height: 4'6" | Weight: 105lbs |
| Race/Species: Dwarf | Hair Colour: Dark brown | Eye Colour: Brown | Skin Colour: Tanned | Trade: Bard/Minstrel |

Image

Appearance:
Standing at approximately four feet and six inches in height, Yoranda weighs only about 105 pounds. She has lightly-tanned skin and her build is slender. She has long, wavy dark hair that comes down just past her shoulders. Yoranda has large, round brown eyes, arched eyebrows, and a petite nose. She, like the rest of her family, sports full lips. Yoranda's outfits are less modest than her twin as her focus is more on style, and she can often be seen in a variety of pieces - skirts of all lengths, trousers with tall boots, blouses, tight-fitting tops, sweaters, anything she wishes to wear. The twins always wear a pair of matching golden rings with green stones in them that their older sister Barynn made for them.

Image

Personality:
Yoranda is perky, vibrant, upbeat, bubbly, and full of life. She has a tendency to be a bit loud and she loves to socialize. She is the type to strike up a conversation with a random stranger completely out of the blue. She loves to sing, and even when not performing, will sometimes just randomly sing for the fun of it. She loves dancing, chatting, and shopping. Yoranda can be a bit naive compared to her sister, however, and it is often Unarelle who will pull her sister out of situations that she's afraid may escalate. While Unarelle is dependent on Yoranda for socialization, it's Yoranda that's dependent on Unarelle for common sense. Yoranda has a tendency to be a flirt and will rarely back down from the opportunity to hop into bed with an attractive man. She hopes one day to fall in love, settle down, and have children, but for now, she is simply living life and having fun.

History/Bio
Yoranda and her twin sister, Unarelle, are tied for the position as the second-youngest of the eight Garmold children. They exhibited opposite personalities even from infancy, with Unarelle being a quiet baby who was easy to care for and Yoranda being a loud, demanding baby that drained all the energy of their parents. From early childhood, Yoranda demonstrated a passion and talent for singing, so her parents decided to enroll her in lessons. Her teachers quickly recommended that Yoranda should train for the bard's trade, and her parents agreed. When the twins were four years old, Yoranda fell ill and Unarelle spent all her time with her sick sister. The healers never could quite figure out what was wrong with her and could do little more for her than treat her symptoms. Eventually, Yoranda got better of her own accord.

Over the years, Yoranda has had several random episodes of sickness. Each time, her twin has been right there at her side. They still do not know what has caused it, only that Yoranda's sickness may be what's given her the vibrancy and love of life that she has. At sixteen, Yoranda became romantically involved with a boy from the settlement. He took her virginity, and while Unarelle was disappointed with her twin for giving up her virtue so early and so easily to someone with whom she knew it wasn't going to last, Yoranda was far from disappointed. Since then, she has dated and slept with a few different men including him - all of them multiple times over a period of time, and she's never been involved with more than one man at any given time.

Now, at eighteen, recent events are causing immense change in the lives of the twins. With two of their older siblings - Barynn and Istrain - having both left Bhagh-Nernwahrum to pursue lives on the surface, other families are beginning to look upon the Garmold family name as somewhat shameful. In an attempt to patch things up with the rest of their colony and preserve their good name, their parents have agreed to an arranged marriage for Unarelle to a young man from a family of high rank. He's had feelings for her for years, but she never reciprocated because she always thought he was an ass. Now, she has little choice. Hoping to save her sister and knowing that she'd easily be able to please the man and be a good wife, Yoranda even volunteered to take Unarelle's place and marry him, but he was insistent that it was Unarelle he wanted.

Frightened and devastated, Unarelle does not wish to marry this man. Yoranda has had to make a hard decision now and she has decided to take her twin and leave Bhagh-Nernwahrum in order to escape the arrange marriage. Their plan is to take all their savings and venture to Veritas Isle, where they know their older sister Barynn lives and they know she will take care of them until they figure out what to do with their own lives.

So begins...

Osmond shook his head, "I have not... let's wait for that when we get to the room." He said and walked with her to the inn and went up to the room where he walked in first, making sure it was safe and letting her in. When he closed the door he looked at her. "Now tell me the story, babe." He said softly as he began to get changed.

Birger laughed at her confusion, it was rather adorable. "A spider monkey is a type of monkey. They are rather adorable so I guess it really does fit you." He smiled before it faded a bit. "That would be... lovely to have you come with me." He said softly and brought her hand up to his lips and kissed it softly before letting her have it back. The waitress came and gave them their food before walking away and he smiled a bit before eating.

Luther looked at her and shook his head, "That's not funny..." He said softly and went back to eating. She had no idea about Lor's suicide attempt or her now lingering suicidalness and he much rather her not hear her say something like that again about the girl.

Dev smiled and was happy that he didn't preach about how her baby needed a man in its life and it had to be a dad and she had to have a husband. He was a cool dude and she was going to keep him. "Mmm pringles... dammit, Kyle." She laughed a bit before looking up at him. "Oh man... I have made many cry in practice... you would think they knew what they were going to get." She sighed and then looked at him. "But they also weren't tearing my cervix apart either... so... sometimes I wonder if these people who actually wanted to have a baby didn't already have a kink for pain." She sighed.

Vlora listened to him speak and shook her head, "I would love to know who the hell that man is. Smug little asshole he was. Claire despises him, which I can't blame her. She seems like a very respectable woman and someone like him... well... would creep her out." She said softly and looked around. She really didn't fit in here, though she did at least look the part.

Zelipia nodded when he said to wait until they got to the room. "Sure," she said, heading with him the rest of the way. Once they were in the room, she heaved a sigh and flopped down backwards on the bed, looking up at the ceiling. "Okay, so my mom was married to a man in her tribe, and they had Illyana first - she's nine years older than me - and then they had Rhyan, who's obviously three years older than me," she began, sneaking a peek at him before continuing. "And then their dad gets in some hunting accident and cripples himself, so he's basically a talking vegetable. So my mom works as like a trader or something for the tribe, so her job is to go to the human cities and trade with them, and that's where she meets my dad, whoever he is. So she gets knocked up and the tribe's suspicious as fuck, but her husband swears down that he knocked her up, so they're cool with it - and then I'm born, and they're like 'why the fuck doesn't it have pointy ears?' so she and her husband are forced to admit that he totally didn't knock her up, because he's a damn vegetable and he can't get it up, and he just said that so she wouldn't get in trouble. So they banish her - and me - from the tribe, and Rhyan's three at the time so she's gotta take him, but she asks Illyana if she wants to come and Illyana wants to stay in the tribe with her dad and uncle and friends, because she's nine and fucking stupid, so mom fucks right off outta there, she comes here, and we never see Illyana or their dad again. And now she's back here and talking shit about me and I'm just not fucking dealing with it."

Yoranda blinked when he said a spider monkey was a type of monkey. "Really? That sounds fucking terrifying," she said, shaking her head a bit. When he said it would be lovely to have her go with him, she smiled. "I figured it would be," she said with a giggle, thanking the waitress when she brought their food and promptly beginning to eat.

Barynn blinked at Luther's words and gave a small nod. "Right. Sorry," she said. Murder was a sensitive topic for him. She'd forgotten that. It was something she thought about infrequently since it happened so rarely back home and she was still getting used to how common it was up here.

Kyle laughed a little at her comment, smirking when she said she'd made men cry in training before. "Well, then, remind me that I don't wanna train with you ever," he said with a laugh. He blinked at her words. It sure wouldn't surprise him if some of these men wished they'd been tearing her cervix apart. "Considering the number of women who want kids, I doubt it. I feel like the pain is just something you gotta deal with if you want kids. But who am I to talk? No uterus, no opinion, right?" he asked with a laugh. "I want kids one day, but it's not like I have to birth them myself. All I'd have to do is get laid and take care of the mom."

Bastian sighed and nodded when Vlora said that Claire despised his client. "Jerome Salzin. He's a businessman. Very wealthy. Lots of money, lots of influence. I'm fairly certain he's involved in illegal business, but this was an embezzlement case. Kesia was helping with it, organizing all the financial affairs involved. She had her suspicions that things weren't adding up, and we confirmed it today," he said. "Salzin has definitely given Claire more than a few reasons to despise him. I'd have kicked him out if he'd tried anything with her - touched her inappropriately or anything of the sort - but he never did, luckily for him," he continued.

Osmond listened to her and frowned. "I am rather glad I was never in a tribe... never understood why our people still have them." He sighed and shook his head before going over to her and got her changed. He slipped her into one of his shirts and smiled. "Well I know someone who could beat her up if you want me to contact them he smirked and you do look good in my shirt." He said and kissed her softly. "I think whats he did was a bitch ass move... now... as sad as I am to have to say thing, but I think it is time for bed. I am exhausted and I sadly have to follow your little friend around." He said and kissed her again before getting into bed.

Birger looked at her and smirked, "They are just little black monkeys... you... you think they have spider legs huh?" He laughed softly before shaking his head. "They don't, babe..." He said and reached up to move some hair out of her face. "Though you with spider legs scares me." He smirked.

Luther gave a shrug, a bit annoyed and not in such a happy mood. He ate what he had and then asked the waitress for the check. He sat there in silence, looking over the people who had come in, before excusing himself when the check came and walked away to pay it off.

Dev laughed, "Wait till I have this baby... we are going to train. I can't have a male friend walking around with this body and then... you know... kind only knowing how to fight. You gotta be the best or you know... kinda the best." She smirked. When he said he didn't have a uterus and didn't have an opinion she shrugged. "Pretty much, kiddo." Dev giggled a bit and then laughed when he said all he had to do was get laid and then take care of the mom. "You men..." She sighed and smirked a bit. "So you want kids huh? I hope you name your kids Kylie, Kyler, Kylynn, and all the other names that have yours in it or partially in it." She smiled.

Vlora sighed and shook her head as she heard about him. "I feel like I should watch out for him at night. He seems like the kind of guy to buy someone's silence." She said and rubbed her neck. "I do not envy you. I only envy the people who can watch you get angry and go off. You are quite the handsome angry man." She giggled before thanking the waitress when she came with their drinks.

Zelipia sighed and nodded when he said that he didn't understand tribes. "Me neither. I'm glad I wasn't born with the damn ears, because then no one would have realized I was only halfsies and I would have had to grow up with that shit," she said. She let him change her into his shirt, absolutely swimming in it. When he said he knew someone who could beat up Illyana, she blinked. "That's... probably a bad idea. She's got a little kid...ugh, I bet my mother's just ecstatic to be a grandma," she sighed. She kissed him back both times that he kissed her, lying down and pulling up the blankets as well. "Agreed. I'm in for a shit storm with this pill nonsense, so gotta get rested," she sighed. "Night, babe."

Yoranda blinked when he asked if she thought they had spider legs and told her that they didn't. "Oh. When you say spider monkey it just... sounds, ya know, like a monkey with... with spider legs. Can you imagine that thing hopping around in the trees? I already hate it," she said. She giggled when he said the thought of her with spider legs was scary. "So you're gonna make a big fuss over how tiny my hands are, but as soon as there's a chance of me having eight little hands, that's scary to you?" she teased.

Barynn finished up her food and watched Luther go, looking down at her stomach and putting both hands gently on it. "Hey there, Baby," she said in a soft voice, figuring she'd chat up the kid while he was gone. "I know it's still a little, teeny-tiny bit too early, so don't do anything drastic just yet, but I really can't wait to meet you. We're gonna have so many snuggles. You don't realize it yet because you're too little, but you...are so lucky. You're being born into such a great life. You've got a mommy and daddy who love you sooo much, and who work so hard to make sure we can provide for you and give you everything. Don't even get me started on how wonderful your daddy is, though, because I can just... go on and on about him," she cooed.

Kyle raised an eyebrow at her words, looking at her in surprise. "Walking around with what body?" he asked, smirking a bit. "I can take care of myself just fine," he said. When she said she wanted him to name his kids after himself, he burst out laughing, shaking his head. "Oh, no way," he said. "I wanna name a son after my father one day, but that's the only thing I'm really set on. I'm not naming my kids after myself, though. Never did care for men who did that," he shrugged.

Bastian nodded slightly when she said that Salzin sounded like the kind of man to buy someone's silence. "He does, yes. He also seems like the type of man to know what battles are worth his time and effort, though, and I think he knows that I have better things to do than sell him out," he said. He blinked when she said he was a handsome angry man, thanking the waitress when she brought their drinks and taking a sip of his. "I try not to anger easily but it does happen. I get passionate about my job," he said.

Isla got dress in a sea-themed dress and hurried to drop James off before going to work. She was excited to see Rhyan but scared at the same time. She had to pretend she was the same ole Isla before last night. When she walked into work she smiled brightly, "Morning." She said softly.

Birger shivered and gag, "Yes... yes I would and I will." He sighed and grabbed her tiny hand and kissed it. "They are so tiny and adorable. Look at these hands, Yora. Tiny... little... fingers... and to think I will have three babies with tiny hands and feet and fingers and toes." He sighed and gently let her hand go. "I am... excited." He said softly.

Luther came back to hear half of the cooing and smirked and before shaking his head. "Come on, babe and baby. I have paid and now they are kicking us out. Rude... they just wanted us for our money." He smirked and helped her up before walking out with her. He held her hand protectively and rubbed her tiny hand with his thumb softly. "You look... adorable." He said.

Dev blinked and pointed, "that one? What other body do you have? It is a nice body." She said and shrugged. "Though if you can just switch bodies I wouldn't mind being taught that." She said with a smirk. His laugh was nice and he wondered if that who trial thing had seriously fucked him up or girls just didn't want to be with him because of that thing. Either way, both were damn near sad. He seemed like a really good guy, what a waste. "Oh? And what is your father's name?" She asked before blinking when she saw someone run by and looked out the window but couldn't tell who the girl was. She shrugged and went back to him.

Vlora listened and she shook her head. That man was something else. When he said he was passionate about his job she smiled, "I can tell... but that is what I like about you... well part." She said softly. "You also don't take shit from anyone and that is... another thing I like." She said softly.

Rhyanid was at the front of the shop when Isla came in, and he smiled brightly at the sight of her. "Morning, you," he said, standing up to come and greet her. "Mom's in the office, and Illyana's in the back with Rouge taking a look at him, so be warned. Oh, and she brought Lanara with her," he said.

Yoranda giggled at Birger's response to the prospect of the spidery monkey. She smiled as he grabbed her hand and kissed it and talked about how tiny their babies would be, glad that he was excited. "So am I," she said softly, and went back to her food when he was done messing around with her hands. "So...how's it going to work with Una's baby? Do we raise it like it's our own? Pass them off as triplets? And who names it...? Do we do that? Or is it just you since it's technically not my baby, even though biologically it's gonna match my two?" she asked softly. She knew it wasn't a comfortable topic to discuss, but it was a necessary one. These were all things they needed to figure out before the kids were born.

Barynn looked up when Luther spoke and she laughed a little at his words, letting him help her to her feet. "So very rude," she joked back with a giggle, beginning to walk out with him. When he said that she looked adorable, she huffed a little. "The restaurant may just want us for our money, but you just say that for my tummy," she teased him with a laugh as they headed off together. She put her free hand on her stomach; it was getting heavy and just having her hand under it for a little extra support made a huge difference.

Kyle chuckled a bit when she said he had a nice body. "Damn, I wish I could just switch bodies. We're gonna have to look into that trick and figure it out somehow," he said. When she asked his father's name he smiled. "Richard. It's a good strong name, nothing too dramatic or fancy, and it's got meaning to me," he said, and then paused, realizing how that might be misconstrued. "Not that your family's names are dramatic and fancy, I mean... you've all got great names," he said quickly, blinking and hoping she'd not thought anything more by it than he'd meant.

Bastian smiled when she told him the things she liked about him, nodding slightly. "Well, I do appreciate that, cherie. I do believe that it takes a passionate person to appreciate a passionate person, and I know you to be... quite passionate yourself," he said with a smile. He reached across and took her hand gently, taking another sip of his wine before he spoke again. "I don't believe that Salzin will be any further trouble, but just in case, would you like to stay with me for the night? I am sure that we'd both feel a little better and safer if you were there with me," he said.

Isla smiled when he came over to meet her. "Ahh well, at least your sister is being useful." She said softly just in case her daughter was around. "How did last night go?" She asked and fumbled with her purse before looking back up at him with a soft smile. He was so damn tall, but he was also so damn handsome.

Birger ate when she did and when she started to talk again he looked up at her and blinked, "I assume we can raise it as if it was yours too. No need to make it complicated and be like here is your mother who didn't want you. Kind of... fucked up to me. I would understand she did it because she wasn't ready, but I would be pissed. I did tell her to take that stupid pill." He sighed and shooked his head. He was so pissed with Una right now, just as much as he had missed her. "Uh... well... I get she will birth it but does she even have the right to name it since she doesn't want it? So... I think it is only fair that we name it and pass it off as triplets." He said before looking out the window.

Luther laughed and shook his head, "Excuse me, I want you for your eyes, lips, and... other certain areas. Gosh, I am not THAT shallow." He joked and watched her hold her belly. It was absolutely adorable and he couldn't help but smile. When they got home he locked the door behind them and had her sit down before taking her shoes off and gently massaging them.

Dev smirked, "I am sure there is a book somewhere around the island that will teach us that trick." She said and ate when he started to talk about his father's name and then going on about her and her family's name. Dev covered her mouth as she began to laugh. "One, Richard is a nice name. I know a man named Richard and he is a great fighter... though for some odd reason they associate the name with Dick? I have no idea, it makes little sense to me. I just call him Richy and tell him to give me all his damn money... so he gives me twenty and tells me to go buy a dress." She sighed. "Also out names are simple compared to my parent's. My father is Spanish and my mother is Asian. Our names could be a lot worse. I have a sister named Birdie... so I mean... I don't know." She laughed. "Kinda like Kilynn as a boy's name... ugh such a cute name. Go me for thinking of that one on the spot. Hmm... what is your mom's name? I can't have half your parent's names." She smiled.

Vlora held his hand softly and watched him. How did a girl like her get a man like him? She felt like life was playing a cruel joke on her. Like it would take him away from her and that made her stomach knot up. She smirked when he called her passionate and she nodded because she was when her heart was set on something. "Mmm yes... I would like to spend the night with you... I would never say no to that." She said softly. Her thumb gently caressed his hand as she sipped her drink and looked down at the menu. When the waitress came she let Bastian order first since she as still looking but then she decided on something and gave the menu to her and watched her walk away.

Rhyanid nodded when she said Illyana was being useful, and when she asked how last night had gone, he couldn't help but to smirk a bit. "Oh, it was fantastic. I walked home one of the prettiest girls on the island, found out she's into me, and then she even let me kiss her... oh, wait, you mean after all that," he said, speaking in a soft voice so his mother wouldn't possibly be able to hear from the office. "Well, I went home for dinner and it was basically just all of us getting caught up. Illyana told us about her life in the tribe. She's a veterinarian, she married this guy and they tried for years to have a baby, and then he disappeared out of nowhere and she found out after that she was pregnant with Lanara. The tribe says her husband's dead, so Lanara's never met her dad. And, well, my father recently passed away and they got her to come tell us, so there's that," he continued. "And we told her all about our lives since coming to the island. She didn't ask about Zel much, but we also didn't volunteer much information about her anyways, beyond the stuff that had to do with all three of us. I really, really hope she sticks to what she said and tries to have a relationship with Zel as her sister, because they are sisters, even if it's only half..."

Yoranda nodded as Birger agreed that they could raise the third baby as theirs as if they were triplets, and she nodded when he said they would name it. "That sounds fair. Maybe we'll get lucky and all three babies will be the same gender, or I'll have one of each, and then if we just keep the babies to ourselves for a month or two after they're born then she won't even know which one is hers and then, as its aunt, she can't treat it any differently, even if it's a subconscious thing. We'll have to sit down with my family and talk about our intentions, though. If one of its aunties or uncles slips up and mentions anything some day, it'll fucking hate us," she sighed.

Barynn laughed at his words, shaking her head a bit. "If you say so," she teased with a giggle. She walked the rest of the way home with him, smiling when he sat her down and started to rub her feet. She leaned back in her seat, resting both hands on her stomach and letting out a contented sigh. "I love you so much. You know that? You're not even a good man, you're the best man, except that's a wedding term so we're not gonna use that... the goodest man."

Kyle smirked when Dev said there might be a book to tell them what they wanted to know. "Now it's our damn mission to find this book and figure this out," he said. He chuckled as she talked about the Richard she knew. "So what you're saying is you've got a sugar daddy named Richard?" he teased jokingly. When she said she had a sister named Birdie and that she liked the name Kilynn as a boy's name, he laughed a little. "Both odd names, but hey, I come from a family that's got a Richard and an Aaron and a Spencer. We've got boring names, so don't take my word for it," he said. "My mom's name is Jodie," he told her when she asked.

Bastian smiled when she agreed to spend the night with him, nodding his approval. "Good. Thank you," he told her, looking over his menu while he held on to her hand. He was going to let her order first when the waitress came, as a gentleman should, but she hadn't quite yet decided on what to order, so he ordered first and then she gave her order. Once the waitress was gone with their menus, he looked over at her. "How is your niece doing? If you'd like, you can bring her by the office any time this week to meet the new intern. She's a brilliant young lady, and I feel like Hazel would be fascinated with her," he said.

Isla giggled when he talked about them and blushed when he called her pretty. "I am pretty sure that girl you kissed enjoyed it very much." She said softly and then listened about their dinner. "Well... as long as she can act civil in front of me that I can keep my mouth close. Zel didn't ask for any of this. It is like hating my son for what his father did to me. It just isn't right and I love that boy to death. If a nineteen-year-old gets that she def should." She said and looked around the store to see if the girl as there and she didn't see her so she kiss his hand quickly before smiling and walking to the office door. "I have to clock in and stuff. I will be back out. Oh! And you have that appointment with that blond elf man today. Don't forget." She said and walked in the office. She smiled at her boss, "Morning, you look lovely and bright today." She said softly as she placed her purse on the hook.

Birger sighed and nodded when she talked about what to do with the baby. "True... I much rather that not happen." He said and sighed before rubbing the bridge of his nose. Una fucked up royally by not taking that damn pill. He could understand his mistakes but she needed to understand how fucked up she made things. "You need to talk to Una... since she won't even fucking look at me." He said.

Dev nodded, "Oh man, adventure time." She said wiggled her fingers. She laughed and shook her head, "Might as well be. When I was going to leave he handed me a shit ton of cash and told me to run for the islands. He is going to help my parents if shit comes down from the tribe... and then when have Birdie... we don't like to talk about her much, but she is a little crazy. Loves us to death but will... well... let's just say things get bloody when you cross someone she holds dear." She said and blinked. "Yes yes... old man boring names." She smirked. "Kyle being like... such the most boringist name in like... ever." She joked and laughed a bit.

Vlora smiled when he brought up Hazel. "She is doing well... though I think she had dumped Spencer as a friend." She frowned a bit. "Said he was weird and confusing." She sighed. "But I can bring her sometime. I know she would like to have something to do since now she is back to no friends." She said softly.

Rhyanid smiled when she said that the girl he'd kissed had enjoyed it, and he nodded at her words. "Agreed. It's not like Zel asked to be conceived because of our mother's extramarital affair with some human guy, and she definitely didn't ask us to leave the tribe for her. I'm sure out mother could very well have just gotten rid of her somehow - left her with her father or in a human orphanage or something - but she didn't. If Illyana should be mad at anyone, it's mom," he said. He smiled when she kissed his hand and nodded when she said she had to get clocked in, so he sat down at the counter again. Lanissa was sitting behind her desk with little Lanara in a chair beside her, and both looked up when Isla came in. Lanissa smiled. "Thank you, dear. You do, as well," she said.

Yoranda sighed softly and nodded when he said she needed to talk to her sister. "Yeah, I know," she said. "I'll talk to her. Don't worry. She'll cooperate with whatever we want since she doesn't want the baby," she told him softly before eating some more. She glanced down at her barely-there stomach, and then back at him.

Kyle chuckled at the wigging of her fingers, munching on his hot dog while she talked about the man giving her money to flee her husband and how she had a crazy sister who liked to kill people. "Wow. That's... kinda fucked up, really," he said with a laugh. "I mean, it probably could be worse, but still," he shrugged. When she said they had boring names and that his name was boring, he laughed. "Maybe, but eh. I like it," he said. "Do you have any girl names thought up yet if your baby's a daughter?" he asked.

Bastian blinked when she said that Hazel thought Spencer was weird and had dumped him as a friend. "That's a shame. My understanding is that the poor boy doesn't have many friends, so he's probably disappointed. He's a good kid, but I suppose we can't fault children for being children," he said. He nodded when she said she would bring Hazel to the office some time. "That sounds lovely. Like I said, Erin is a wonderful young lady. She's Spencer's cousin - their mothers are sisters - but she's very, very different from the Callahan family," he said.

Isla smiled at her boss, "Hi, Sweetie." She said to the child softly before clocking in and giving her a small wave before walking out and getting to work by looking at the fish. Isla frowned a bit, "I am going to have to pump the tanks out, Rhyan." She said and walked back to him. I think the fish are sick and I would like to take a look at them in different water. What kind of water did you put in the tanks?" She asked softly.

Birger's jaw tightened and he shook his head. She said she was going to take that stupid pill and now hopefully his child didn't suffer because she had to go and forget. He looked at his plate of food and placed his fork down. He wasn't hungry anymore. He looked out the window and stared at the people walking by. A part of him wished he had stuck with his gut and never got involved with the Garmold girls. They were nothing but trouble.

Dev nodded, "Yeah... she is a bit special... her and Amell together is just... a blast though." She laughed. When he said he liked his name she nodded, "It fits you." She smirked and blinked when he asked about what she would be naming the girl. Dev thought about it and furrowed her brows. "I honestly don't know... I actually hadn't had a name picked out yet for either until just now." She laughed a bit. "So how many kids do you want? Oh let me guess..." She said and thought about it. "Mmmm twelve... no nine..." She said proudly.

Vlora frowned, "Maybe I can talk her out of it and see if she can't get to a solution that doesn't involve ending the relationship." She sighed before blinking. "Oh? Well... that's nice of you to take on one of their own. I can see you have grown close to the family and all." She said softly. "My brother guards the woman who makes jewelry, Barynn. She has a talent. Her pieces are gorgeous. You can tell she loves what she does. Then a friend of ours takes cares of the girl who works for Barynn's husband. They have a semi-large family. Three out of the four girls are having babies and one has a small kid. Amell made fun of them saying the men should watch for their ladies, but one of the guys already got his girl pregnant so. It just added to Amell's flame, but it backfired and now one of our sisters is pregnant." She sighed. "So many babies and not enough hands, as my brother says." She smiled. "Hazel will be at your office this week, Sir." She winked.

The little girl smiled up at Isla when she said hi. "Hi!" she answered cheerfully, giving her a wave before she walked out. Rhyanid looked over at Isla when she asked what kind of water they put in the tanks and he raised an eyebrow. "The exact same kind of water we always use? We just use regular water, and we treat it with... you know, the aquarium treatment stuff. Mom usually does that part since I've already done my share in heavy lifting by the time it's time to treat the water," he chuckled. "You'd have to ask her. There's probably paperwork that mentions it, though."

Yoranda saw Birger put his fork down and could tell that he was getting moody. She didn't want to upset him, so she just kept quiet, finishing up her food and then setting her own fork down. She looked down at her stomach quietly. She wished he and Unarelle would just make up or something. She hated having to sit and watch them pine for each other and get so quiet and weird whenever they heard mention of one another.

Kyle chuckled as she talked, and he blinked when she said that his name fit him. "Are you calling me a boring old man?" he asked with a bit of a playful smirk. He listened while she contemplated not having a girl name picked out, and when she asked if he wanted nine children, his eyes widened. "Oh, hell no," he said with a laugh. "Three sounds like a good number. I don't think I'd want more than that."

Bastian nodded when she said she'd talk to Hazel about figuring out a way to keep being friends with Spencer. He blinked at her comment about growing close to the family. "Oh, yes, Richard Callahan and I have been friends for many years, and he was friends with my father as well," he said. He listened while she talked about her brother guarding the town jewelrymaker and he nodded. "Oh, yes, I've been to her shop before. I bought Claire a pair of earrings for Christmas from there," he said with a smile. When she called him Sir, a slight smirk came to his lips. "Oh, I'm 'sir' now, am I?" he asked.

Isla sighed and looked up at him. "I wonder if your mom will let you go to the lake and get some water..." She said softly and walked back in the back. "Hey, Lanissa... did you do anything different with the fish tanks or food? The fish are sick and will it be okay for Rhyan to go get some of the lake water so I can put them in and figure out why they are sick?" She asked softly.

Birger looked over at her and smiled softly he had to not forget about Yora. He was with her not Una. "So... you said you had a craving yeah? I think it was chocolate? No... oranges? Mmmm no strawberries? Damn I can't quite remember what it was. Oh! Salami! Ha knew I would figure it out." He smirked.

Dev thought about it, "Huh... I guess you are old and borning. Silly me." She smirked and looked up at him. When his eyes widen she laughed, "Damn only three... your poor wife or girlfriend. I don't know what you are into, but poor her. Only three... give her those looks and only three." She smirked, teasing him.

Vlora blinked, "Oh wow... so you really have been knowing the family. Well that is nice. It is always good to have friends that are outside your profession." She said softly and blinked. "Aren't you a generous boss?" Vora smirked and when he asked about him being a sir now she leaned in and giggled, "Well last time I saw you weren't a ma'am now were you?" She asked.

Lanissa looked up when Isla came in, blinking slightly and raising an eyebrow. "Certainly. Feel free to do whatever you need. Just tell him what to get and you can watch the front of the shop while he's gone. If you need anything, I'll be here," she told her. "I've not done anything different with them, and I doubt Rhyan would. Let me know if you figure it out so we can take precautions to avoid it happening again in the future," she said.

Yoranda blinked at his words, crinkling up her nose a bit as he tried to guess what she was craving. "Nooo. None of the above. If anything, I'm having anti-cravings. The place Barynn and I usually go for lunch with Cherono? I can't even walk in any more without gagging. I have no clue what the hell they're cooking that my body seems to hate so much but the smell makes me queasy," she said, heaving a disappointed sigh.

Kyle chuckled when she called him old and boring, shaking his head a bit at her. He blinked at her next words, raising an eyebrow slightly. "Is there something wrong with only wanting three kids?" he asked slowly, obviously a bit confused and concerned by what she was saying.

Bastian nodded at her words. "Indeed, it is. Their father works for the bank," he said. He smiled when she called him a generous boss, nodding. "Well, of course. Claire is instrumental in my success and I wouldn't make it through the work day without her," he said. When she leaned in and said he wasn't a ma'am, he blinked. "Well, no, of course not. I thought I was simply a Bastian, though - not a sir or a ma'am. There's no need for such formalities," he said.

Rhyanid headed into the back with Isla. Illyana was in the back corner at Zelipia's grooming table, and she had Rouge in a small cage there while she watched his behaviour. She didn't say anything as the two came in, too caught up in keeping a close eye on Rouge. Rhyanid transferred the water as per Isla's request, laughing a little at how adorable she was when she got so excited over the fish being little bobbers. "Is there anything else you need? After all, we gotta have a man at the front all the time," he teased with a chuckle, patting her head while she was crouched beside the tank. She was so tiny, and he just wanted to scoop her up and love on her.

Yoranda laughed a little at Ingrid's words, grinning. "Well, thank you," she said with a grin. Ingrid seemed cool, and she hoped that the two of them could become friends. She nodded when the girl said she had people to serve, and after she left, Yoranda started trying to get up into one of the seats at the bar, but she was tiny and she had a bit of a tummy going on and she didn't want to put any pressure on it climbing up into the chair the way she usually did, so she was having a bit of a hard time. She didn't hear the conversation between the men about Birger having Ingrid on the side, which was probably for the best because she would have gone at them.

Kyle chuckled a bit and nodded. "I guess that's fair, although you'll never really have your army at its full potential," he said. He blinked when she insisted that she was going to steal his babies and he jokingly huffed a bit, shaking his head. "Nope. You can't steal my babies. I'll..." He paused, thinking for a moment, and then he threw a french fry at her. "I'll throw fries at you if you steal my babies," he said.

Bastian raised an eyebrow slightly at Vlora's words. He wasn't sure why she seemed insistent that a kid like Kyle would think about the legal aspect of his sexual activities, but he figured it best not to push the matter further because she seemed quite sure of herself and he'd hate to argue with her over something so irrelevant. "I'd never expect you to be as smart as me. I've been through many, many years of schooling and am generally more intelligent than most men my age. Hazel is still young. Her mind is still... very pliable and spongelike. She has a great deal of potential and I'd love to see what she does with it," he said.

Isla looked up when he patted her head and she smiled, "Ahh yeah, thank you so much. I know it was heavy. Gonna repay you in cookies. I promise... I am not up to three batches... so be prepared on Monday for just that." She giggled. Her blue eyes shined when he looked down at her. Isla wondered how it would be to cuddle him, she would be swimming in his arms and she was quite alright with that.

Birger snapped his attention back to Yora and saw her struggling to get on the stool. He smirked, trying hard not to laugh, but a few snickers came out before he helped. He placed both his hands on her hips and gently lifted her onto the stool and patter her head. "Still the cutest thing to watch." He laughed softly before going around the bar and patted Ingrid's head as she figured out how to make a drink. She giggled and shook her head before going back to the order she was making. Birger's sister wished he hadn't knocked up any of those girls. She didn't much care for them and it was obvious that the family caused trouble. She wished that they had broken up, no babies included, and he would have moved on to Ingrid. She made him laugh and smiled and was just a good girl at heart. Sure she was costing him a buck in glasses, but she was learning. A part of her wanted to talk to him and tell her brother to just dump the girl and have rights to see the babies. He had not business going back to a Garmold girl. He would have never snapped if Yora hadn't come around. At least the weird and quiet one knew what to do best. She sighed a bit and shook her head, refusing to acknowledge Yora and walked over to help Ingrid. Birger smiled a bit at his sister before looking at Yora. "What can I get for ya, kid?" He asked with a smirk.

Dev huffed, "If I have mine and steal yours... it will be beyond potential, but by the time you know this it will be too late. They will be mine." She said before laughing evilly and then just laughing in general. When he said she couldn't steal his babies and looked around she blinked before watching him throw a fry at her. She gently picked it up and held it up for him to see and glared before dipping it in cheese sauce and eating it. "Mmm well... if you are going to throw damn fries at me, shit... gonna really have to take your kids. That would be like... the nicest thing you could do. Boost my ego AND end my hunger. Jesus, Kyle, you really are a nice guy." She laughed a bit.

Vlora loved when he raised his eyebrow and maybe she was guilty with arguing with him a bit to make him do so. She knew Kyle would never make a contract. The boy is an idiot, but hot damn if her man wasn't handsome. "Mmm you bookworm, probably looked handsome doing so. You read a book and I beat up some guys, that is the kind of world I like living in." She teased with a smile. When he talked about Hazel her smile grew. "Oh yes... and if she doesn't like to learn EVERYTHING. The girl can sing, she can quote classics, speak threw languages... well two fluently and the third is a work in progress. It makes it fun to watch and I always wonder what she will be as she gets older." She said softly and kissed his hand. When the waitress came back they ordered their meals and Vlora looked back at him. "Since you have been a mistress to your studies when did you get into dating? I feel like it would have been during college, but I could be totally wrong." She said softly.

Rhyanid smiled down at Isla when she thanked him and said that she would repay him in cookies. He loved the shimmer that he saw in her eyes when she spoke and he gave a nod. "Well, you know I love cookies, so I'm not going to say no to that," he said with a laugh. "I'll be up front if you need anything," he said, patting her head gently before leaving the back room and heading to the front of the store. Illyana spoke up only after he was gone. "You know he likes you, right?" she asked, not even looking at Isla, her gaze focused straight ahead on Rouge the entire time she spoke.

Yoranda huffed a bit as Birger lifted her up on to the chair, but giggled once she was up there. She watched Birger's sister go to help Ingrid, and when Birger asked what he could get for her, she looked straight at him and tried her hardest not to giggle. "One scotch, please. Neat. And a couple tequila shots while you're at it," she said, keeping a perfectly straight face and speaking in a flat voice, though she knew that as soon as he reacted she was going to break down laughing.

Kyle shook his head at her somewhat. "If I ever meet someone I wanna have kids with, I doubt she'll let you steal our children for your army. It takes two to make a baby, remember - they're not just gonna be my kids," he told her with a chuckle. He burst out laughing when she ate the fry, shaking his head a bit and munching on his own fries while she spoke. "I should rethink this french fry plan," he said with a chuckle.

Bastian smiled at her as she said he had probably looked handsome doing his schoolwork. He could see no correlation, but she obviously saw one and he figured it was best not to question it. He smiled as she talked about Hazel. He quite admired the young girl, what with her aptitude and hunger for learning and knowledge. "It'll certainly be interesting to see what your niece becomes as she grows older," he agreed. He paused while the waitress came, and then turned his attention back to Vlora when she spoke up again. He smiled somewhat as she questioned when he started dating. "I dated two young women in high school. They were brief relationships, though. They didn't quite share the same values I held dear to me, though. The women I met in university were more my type, or so I thought - intelligent, with similar values... I just always found that there was something missing, though," he said with a smile. He had a feeling that he knew now what had been missing - Vlora was a smart woman, but she had a strength and physical aptitude that his previous girlfriends had lacked, something that drew him to her immensely.

Jerome was still fuming over his encounter with Bastian De Larousse earlier. Things had been going just fine, and the lawyer had bought everything he'd fed him, but the damn financial lawyer had finally figured out why the numbers hadn't been adding up. He couldn't believe the way Bastian had gone off at him. He'd never seen the man so angry. Bastian was always a calm and level-headed type. Now, he was without a lawyer, and that frustrated him. He was no lawyer. He couldn't very well handle this himself. Bastian would come around, though. They always did. For now, he was headed home, ready to have some dinner, sort out some paperwork, and call it a night.

Isla giggled and nodded, "You go man the front like no one's business, Rhyan." She said and watched him leave before going back to the fish and making sure they were okay. When Illyana spoked she didn't look back. Isla played it cool and laughed, "Nah, he is just that sweet. Very sweet man that... probably is a fault. See he had this horrid ex... horrible woman... and despite her being horrible he was the sweetest. Your mother did an amazing job as raising and as a single mom to a son I can only hope to have my son be half as sweet as your brother." She said softly and gently started to let the fish into the tank.

Birger blinked and raised an eyebrow. "An apple juice with ice. Got you." He smirked and went to it. Ingrid had made her last order and handed it to the man before looking over Birger and letting him know she was going to go since her shift actually ended twenty minutes ago. Birger nodded and told her to be safe before going over back to Yora and handed her the drink. "Here is your... uh scotch clean." He said and then made her shots of ginger ale.

Dev huffed, "Well now I just gotta get your baby momma to love me and just slip them right out from under her... or have her join the army too. HA!" She giggled and took a bite of her burger when he made the comment of having to change his fry plan. It made her giggle with cheeks full of burger and she shook her head before covering her mouth to eat. Once she swallowed she looked over at him. "Mmm... you can't just joke like that when I take food into my mouth, Kyle. A girl could choke." She laughed a bit.

Vlora blinked in surprise when he said he started to date in high school. "Gasp... Bastian." She smirked. "You were dating when you were supposed to be studying. Such shame... and here I thought you were one who would have married his studies if she were to be a woman." Vlora clearly joked. "I would say sorry, but then that means I wouldn't have you and I find that kind of... sad. You know? I love you a good bit and to think some other woman would have you is... depressing." She said and blinked when she realized she really would be depressed if he were with another woman and that made her realization of him saying he loved her had to be adrenaline. Vlora cleared her throat a bit and sipped her wine.

Ingrid had waved at her boss and made her way out. She was glad she wore her outfit. It gave her more tips. The young woman made a mental note to show more skin when working if she wanted bigger tips. It was a nice and cool day. The wind wrapped around her legs and made her skirt fly a bit as she walked. Ingrid was staying at the inn till she could find something else that was in her price range.

Illyana raised an eyebrow as Isla mentioned Rhyanid having a horrible ex, looking briefly over at her in surprise before turning her attention back to Rouge. "Poor Rhyan," she said softly. "He is sweet. He was lovely at dinner last night. Very cheerful and smiley. Then again, he was always happy - I recall my mother saying what a happy baby he was when he was little. She never had any problems with him," she said softly, smiling fondly at what few precious memories she had of little Rhyanid. "But still, he does like you. It's glaringly obvious. I doubt you're in the market for a relationship right now, though, are you? What with having a young son and all," she said.

Yoranda raised an eyebrow when he said apple juice with ice, hoping that he wasn't being serious. She gave Ingrid a wave as she left and blinked when Birger brought her the apple juice with ice. "This isn't what I ordered. You'd think a bartender would know that neat means no ice," she said, huffing dramatically and beginning to pluck the ice cubes out of her drink and set them down on the counter beside her.

Kyle smirked a little when she said that she would get his future baby momma to join the army. That, he had to admit, was amusing. He burst out laughing when she had to cover her mouth up at his joke, since it was full of food, and he smiled a bit at her words. "Sorry. I guess there's not really anything I could do if you were choking, either, since there's kind of a baby in the way. That was my bad," he told her with a bit of a shrug before munching the last bite of his hot dog. "Should I walk you home after we're done here?" he asked.

Bastian chuckled at Vlora's words a bit, shaking his head. When she said that the idea of some other woman having him would depress her, he gave her a gentle smile and reached over, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "Well, cherie, I also love you a good bit and I'm grateful that you didn't fall into the arms of some other man before I found you," he told her. He hoped that what he felt for Vlora was as real as he thought it was. He'd certainly never felt this way before, not about anybody, and she was so special and remarkable to him. He lifted her hand to his lips and kissed her knuckles softly before taking a sip of his wine.

Jerome was walking in the streets when he spotted a young lady in a particularly daring outfit, smirking somewhat at the sight of her. He passed her by, and though his gaze had started to wander down to her legs as her skirt fluttered about in the breeze, something else caught his eye that made him stop dead in his tracks. He hesitated a bit before turning around, catching up with her in ease. "Excuse me," he said politely, falling into pace with her, "but do I know you from somewhere? You seem...familiar," he said. What he really needed was just for her to look his way, so he could look into those eyes and see if his vision had been correct.

When Illyana said poor Rhyan she nodded, but she never looked away from her fish. "Mmm Rhyan was always like that huh?" She laughed softly. "He is a good man... and you can tell he loves his mother a lot. It is the cutest thing ever, probably because I have a son, but still." She said and when she made the comment about her being in the market she shrugged. "I could be in the market, but if I was I still wouldn't date your brother." She lied. "My son comes first and I need this job. He can like me all he likes, but I would hope he would keep things professional." She said and let the last of the fish go before going over to the racks and looking at the fish food.

Birger wrinkled his nose. "Warm apple juice is just piss in a glass, Yora... dear god." He sighed and shook his head. "At least I have you shots." He smirked. "Here I was being nice and giving you cold apple juice. You are the meanest." He sighed and went over to help another patron. "You know the new bartender has a nice ass rack on her. Damn... too bad Birger had to go and knock up that dwarf. He looks better with that two colored eyed hottie." A guy next to Yora had said to his friend.

Dev shook her head at the boy. So he was interested in a relationship with a woman, just not right now. "Mmm sure... you have to talk to Hazel anyway." She said and waved for the waitress to get her a doggy bag. "I know you aren't looking right now for a girlfriend and hell kudos to you, but when you do I have a sister who is a sweetheart. Very loving and down to earth. Knows how to fight, but refuses to use it against anyone unless she has to protect herself. You might like her... and she will be easy to get into my army." She smirked devilishly and thanked the waitress before putting her food up.

Vlora smiled a bit and blushed when he kissed her knuckles, such a gentleman he was. "So I know you are a great boss and all, but do you have any reason why Claire is so... quiet and stern? I mean I think I am getting to her since she as nice enough to translate your speech today." She giggled.

Ingrid blinked when she heard the voice and looked up to see the elf and her happy face went a bit dull before smiling. "Nope... I have not a clue who you are. Should I? I am sorry if I don't... but I haven't been to the islands before and I moved into the kingdom down below a couple of years ago." She said. She didn't want this elf man anywhere near her.
