| Name: Yoranda Natuvia Garmold | Age: 18 | Gender: Female | Sexuality: Straight | Height: 4'6" | Weight: 105lbs |
| Race/Species: Dwarf | Hair Colour: Dark brown | Eye Colour: Brown | Skin Colour: Tanned | Trade: Bard/Minstrel |

Image

Appearance:
Standing at approximately four feet and six inches in height, Yoranda weighs only about 105 pounds. She has lightly-tanned skin and her build is slender. She has long, wavy dark hair that comes down just past her shoulders. Yoranda has large, round brown eyes, arched eyebrows, and a petite nose. She, like the rest of her family, sports full lips. Yoranda's outfits are less modest than her twin as her focus is more on style, and she can often be seen in a variety of pieces - skirts of all lengths, trousers with tall boots, blouses, tight-fitting tops, sweaters, anything she wishes to wear. The twins always wear a pair of matching golden rings with green stones in them that their older sister Barynn made for them.

Image

Personality:
Yoranda is perky, vibrant, upbeat, bubbly, and full of life. She has a tendency to be a bit loud and she loves to socialize. She is the type to strike up a conversation with a random stranger completely out of the blue. She loves to sing, and even when not performing, will sometimes just randomly sing for the fun of it. She loves dancing, chatting, and shopping. Yoranda can be a bit naive compared to her sister, however, and it is often Unarelle who will pull her sister out of situations that she's afraid may escalate. While Unarelle is dependent on Yoranda for socialization, it's Yoranda that's dependent on Unarelle for common sense. Yoranda has a tendency to be a flirt and will rarely back down from the opportunity to hop into bed with an attractive man. She hopes one day to fall in love, settle down, and have children, but for now, she is simply living life and having fun.

History/Bio
Yoranda and her twin sister, Unarelle, are tied for the position as the second-youngest of the eight Garmold children. They exhibited opposite personalities even from infancy, with Unarelle being a quiet baby who was easy to care for and Yoranda being a loud, demanding baby that drained all the energy of their parents. From early childhood, Yoranda demonstrated a passion and talent for singing, so her parents decided to enroll her in lessons. Her teachers quickly recommended that Yoranda should train for the bard's trade, and her parents agreed. When the twins were four years old, Yoranda fell ill and Unarelle spent all her time with her sick sister. The healers never could quite figure out what was wrong with her and could do little more for her than treat her symptoms. Eventually, Yoranda got better of her own accord.

Over the years, Yoranda has had several random episodes of sickness. Each time, her twin has been right there at her side. They still do not know what has caused it, only that Yoranda's sickness may be what's given her the vibrancy and love of life that she has. At sixteen, Yoranda became romantically involved with a boy from the settlement. He took her virginity, and while Unarelle was disappointed with her twin for giving up her virtue so early and so easily to someone with whom she knew it wasn't going to last, Yoranda was far from disappointed. Since then, she has dated and slept with a few different men including him - all of them multiple times over a period of time, and she's never been involved with more than one man at any given time.

Now, at eighteen, recent events are causing immense change in the lives of the twins. With two of their older siblings - Barynn and Istrain - having both left Bhagh-Nernwahrum to pursue lives on the surface, other families are beginning to look upon the Garmold family name as somewhat shameful. In an attempt to patch things up with the rest of their colony and preserve their good name, their parents have agreed to an arranged marriage for Unarelle to a young man from a family of high rank. He's had feelings for her for years, but she never reciprocated because she always thought he was an ass. Now, she has little choice. Hoping to save her sister and knowing that she'd easily be able to please the man and be a good wife, Yoranda even volunteered to take Unarelle's place and marry him, but he was insistent that it was Unarelle he wanted.

Frightened and devastated, Unarelle does not wish to marry this man. Yoranda has had to make a hard decision now and she has decided to take her twin and leave Bhagh-Nernwahrum in order to escape the arrange marriage. Their plan is to take all their savings and venture to Veritas Isle, where they know their older sister Barynn lives and they know she will take care of them until they figure out what to do with their own lives.

So begins...

Rhyanid chuckled when Isla said that Zelipia should leave if she couldn't handle a teddy bear. "Oh, I'm sure that's not an issue for her. I meant what you said about how he seems caring and open, but there's more to him. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't... you know, heavy baggage or dark secrets," he chuckled. He blinked when James called him mama, shaking his head. "Noo, kiddo, I'm not your mama. She is. See? See her standing over there, being all adorable and stuff?" he asked, pointing at Isla before continuing to feed James. He laughed at her comment about being called a dad. "That... would be super awkward. Especially for a lady. At least if the kid had called you a mom it'd make sense," he said.

Yoranda held on gently to Birger as he scooped her up and carried her upstairs, nodding when he said that she was right. She smiled when he told her that her actions had been appropriate, nodding. "Yeah... I mean, it's one thing to comment on someone's appearance, but so crudely - ugh," she said. She giggled when he said that he thought his sister had a thing for Ingrid, beginning to change into the shirt he'd given her. "Maybe we gotta push those two together, then," she said, a bit of a devious smile coming to her lips.

Bastian watched Vlora get her ice cream, smiling and thanking the man when he got his and then walking out with her. He listened while she talked about people being confused as to how a lady like herself could have prim and proper children, chuckling a bit. "It's good that the little boy was willing to come to your defense. Perhaps that's a trait he'll keep with him as he grows," he suggested with a smile. "If you and I were to marry, I have a feeling that our children would be of the prim and proper variety, though, so perhaps there was some truth to what he said," he said.

The woman smiled brightly when Ingrid said that she was looking for a place to rent. "Oh, lovely! I actually just finished updating the book about an hour ago - it has all the new listings, and anything we've rented out has been removed. Here - you can take a look at it while I get Mr. Salzin for you," she said. She opened a drawer and pulled out a binder, handing it over so Ingrid could take a look before standing up. "I'll be right back with Mr. Salzin. I'm sure he would be happy to help you further," she said before heading off.

Isla shook her head, "Well James has decided you are going to be his new mommy now. I hope you can give him that special milk he needs." She smirked and shook her head before placing everything on the table. When he was done feeding James she gently took him from the large man and smiled before placing him in his play pin with a new toy she knew he was going to be entertained with and walked over to the table. She as a nervous wreck. "Uh... so... let's eat." She said softly and went sit down and waited for him. "I uhm... this is... I have to pretty much re-learn how to do this whole dating thing. So please excuse my awkwardness." She said softly while blushing.

Birger shook his head for two reasons, "Well those men got what they deserved, so I am glad that is handled and... uhm we shouldn't push my sister. She is a very snappy woman who doesn't like meddlers. Even though she was trying to meddle tonight, which is... out of the blue for her." He said softly and sat in a chair across from her after he had pulled it there. "Listen Yora... you can't just simply ignore what I did to you... and I think Una... she understands that. You should be afraid of me. You should hate me. I love having you back more than... anything... but what I am trying to say is I don't want you to hold anything back. If you are scared let me know and I can back off. If you are uncomfortable with anything let me know so I can stop. Freja is a nice woman, but she doesn't agree with me getting back with you. I... haven't ever lashed out like that to anyone before you came along... and it isn't your fault, so... don't ever think that... but maybe that just means you really mean something to me, more than... anyone... and it scares me that if that was the case and I hurt you... what could I do to Hae or my kids or my family..." He choked and looked down at his hands. "My psychologist thinks it is best to talk about these things out and in the open... Lor said I wouldn't be able to get the baby from Una unless I had a clean bill of mental health... and I am going to prove to her that I am a fit father." He said softly.

Vlora frowned and looked at her ice cream, "He... never got to see his tenth birthday." She said and laughed a bit. "If he was alive he would be twenty-three right now... geez..." She sighed and ate her ice cream slowly. When he talked about if they were to marry and have children that they would be of the variety and she smirked, "Maybe so... I wouldn't mind if they were smart and handsome like you, though I would like them to be able to catch a joke before it went over their head." she laughed softly and looked up at him, "you would have lovely children, though... I would bet my life savings on that." She said softly.

Ingrid smiled, this woman was so polite and friendly. If he had employees like this she definitely felt bad for how she acted yesterday. It was just that she was kind of caught off guard so she quickly put up a defense and it as so wrong of her. Ingrid took the binder gently, "Thank you." She said softly and sat down with it. She placed it upside down so that she could look at the places people didn't really want, they usually were cheaper and it didn't take long before she found one that she rather liked a lot. It was a small house, plain white, with a red roof. There was a loft for her to sleep, a living area, bathroom, and kitchen. It was perfect for her since she was only one person and the price was right.

Rhyanid burst out laughing at Isla's words, shaking his head. "I really doubt I can give him that special milk of his, sorry," he said, amused. She had a great sense of humour and he loved joking around with her. He finished up feeding James, letting her take him and put him in his playpen, and he gave a nod. "Yeah, let's eat," he agreed, and he went and sat down with her. When she apologized for being awkward and explained that she had to relearn how to date, he chuckled and nodded. "That's totally fine. I like to think that I'm a good person to do that with, because I'm pretty chill about most things," he told her. "And the food smells amazing, by the way," he added.

Yoranda smiled and shook her head when he said his sister didn't like meddlers. "Not actually push, but, like... ya know, try to hint at it," she said. She blinked when Birger started to talk about his mental state and all that, and she quietly listened. When he was done, she moved closer and gently grabbed his hand in hers. "If it's best to talk about these things then we'll talk about them. I don't have a lot to say about it, though. I understand that you weren't yourself when it happened. I'm not scared of you. I love you, and I want to be with you, and I have faith that you're gonna get that clean bill of health and the baby," she said softly.

Bastian blinked when Vlora said that the boy had never seen his tenth birthday, frowning a bit. "Oh. I apologize, cherie. I didn't realize," he said, pausing for a moment. "May I... may I ask what happened? I have confidence that it was not a failure on his bodyguard's behalf," he said. When she said that she wanted their children to be smart and handsome like him, but able to catch a joke, he smiled a bit. "Oh, but I caught that that was a joke, didn't I?" he teased gently. "Believe me, cherie... you are a strong and beautiful woman, and you would have remarkable children," he told her.

Shortly after Ingrid found the house she wanted to look into, Jerome and his secretary emerged. He was dressed in another fine suit, and he blinked when he saw her sitting there in that little dress she was wearing. How...enticing. "Miss Ingrid. Or is it Miss Pauline today?" he asked with a bit of an amused smirk. "I see you found your way here, and given that you've a book of real estate listings in hand, I suppose it's safe to assume you're in search of housing? Because I...would be happy to help with that. Would you like to step into my office so we can discuss the matter further?" he asked. He figured there was a reason she'd asked for him specifically instead of just having the secretary find her one of his agents to do the job, and he was glad that she'd come.

Isla giggled "You do seem to be chill about most things... which... at first really scared me because I thought you were just covering up until you got somewhere private and well... turned into someone totally different." She said softly before thanking him when he said her food smelled amazing. "I still am a bit scared that you have this... whole other personality, I will admit that. You can be so darn stern with the animals, so it would be easy for you to be that way with people, right? Which I mean, isn't a bad thing if you are using it in a correct situation." She said softly. "I just... I guess I have my reasons to be cautious is all, but I am willing to push them aside a bit to prove them wrong." She said before starting to eat.

Birger smirked, "Maybe... though I think she rather Ingrid be with someone else." He said softly. He listened to her talk and when she grabbed his hand he kissed hers softly. "I have no idea how you can love me, but I am going to believe you, Yora." He said softly and pulled her as gently as possible up and to him before cupping her cheek gently and kissed her back. "I love you so much, Yora." He said softly.

Vlora waved a dismissive hand a bit, "You didn't know." She said softly and ate her ice cream a bit before looking up at him and going over the bridge and towards her home. "He had Hickerson's Diseases. It is probably the worst I have ever known and it was painful for him. It started with the nerves before attacking the heart. It had gotten so bad he was put into a medical coma and... well the parents decided to end it for him." She said and wiped the tears that had come. "The poor boy was so full of life and funny... he wanted to do so much..." She shook her head and looked away from him, anything but him. She laughed a bit when he said he caught her joke and she looked back at him. "You sure are a sweet man, Bastain. Your parents would be proud." She said softly and kissed his cheek softly before going over to the part of the property that met the beach part by the lake and started to take off her shoes.

Ingrid looked up when the two came out and she couldn't stop the smiled that crept up on her face when he asked which name she was using, "I feel like an Ingrid today, thanks." She said softly and held the book to her, holding the place with her finger as she stood and fixed her dress with her other hand before walking over to him. "I... would like that, thank you." She said softly and smiled at his secretary softly before walking into his office. Once he was in she turned towards him. "I know I made you upset yesterday and I spent some time thinking." She said and hugged the binder for support. "I do wanna settled down and... I really like my job... plus what do you give a man who looks like he owns everything?" She asked and smiled up at him. "I guess my business is the best thing I could actually think of." She said and stepped a bit closer. "I really hope you can forgive me for... grouping you in a category you most likely don't belong in." She said softly.

Rhyanid blinked when he heard that she thought he'd been hiding a completely different person, and that it was still a fear of hers. He blinked, looking at her. "Well, I'm not going to try to convince you to trust me. That's just gonna make you less inclined to trust me," he said with a chuckle. "The thing is, Isla... there's a huge difference between animals and people. With animals you don't have much choice but to be stern and to train obedience into them, but with people... people understand reason. If there's a problem, you talk about it and deal with it like rational adults, which is something animals can't do," he told her. "So if you're worried that you're going to hear me one day snapping my fingers and expecting you to do as I ask, that's definitely not gonna be a thing," he told her with a reassuring smile before starting to eat.

Yoranda smiled up at Birger when he pulled her up and to him, kissing him back softly. When he said that he loved her, she smiled, reaching up and sliding his arms gently around his neck. "I love you so much," she told him with a smile. "We're gonna be fine, babe. We'll have a bunch of babies and we'll be happy and everything's gonna work out," she said.

Bastian frowned as Vlora explained to him what had happened to the little boy. He'd never even heard of this disease before, but from what she was describing, it sounded awful. "I'm sorry to hear that, cherie," he said, reaching over to cup her cheek gently. When she said that he was sweet and that his parents would be proud, he smiled. "I would certainly hope so," he said softly. He walked after her, watching momentarily as she took her shoes off before looking down at his own shoes. He headed to one of the chairs and took his jacket off, draping it over the back of the chair and sitting down to remove his shoes and socks as well, feeling a bit strange about this but doing it anyways.

Jerome smiled when she said that she felt like an Ingrid, giving a nod. "Well, it's a beautiful name. I might prefer Ingrid to Pauline," he told her with a chuckle. When she said she would like it, he nodded and led her into his office, closing the door behind them and looking at her as she started to speak. He smiled down at her as she stepped closer. "I'm sure we can find some way to rectify this situation, don't you worry. Your business is an excellent way to start," he said. He put a hand on her back and took her to his desk, pulling out a chair for her and then sitting down on his side of the desk. "So, did you see anything in the book that caught your eye?" he asked.

Isla listened to him and blinked before looking at her son in the playpen, "I am sure my son is closer to an animal than he is human." She giggled. "Ugh he is my cute little seahorse." She sighed and watched as he pulled himself up and watched the two adults contently while gumming the sides of the playpen. Isla looked back up at him and blinked before blushing a bit. "You just made some woman who was into that very sad." She laughed a bit. "It isn't that, that I worry about... but... I honestly can't see you being the way I do mean so... no point in saying it. Though I think your mother wouldn't be to please if you were like the way I was thinking." She said and blinked before going back to eating so she could stop talking.

Birger smiled softly and rested his forehead on hers. "Mmm I am going to believe you, little lady. Okay? Wait... if we are going to have lots of babies... I am assuming we can't just keep them all in here, huh? Time to start looking at a house, aye?" He said softly before nibbling her shoulder softly and tickling her sides. "Hmm... I can't remember if you are ticklish or not." He smirked.

Vlora loved when he cupped her cheeks, his hands were so... oddly smooth for a man's but she loved it anyway. When she was done with her shoes, Vlora stooped down and began to gently roll up his pants enough so they didn't get wet or dirty and smiled up at him. "There we go. You wanna go walking on the beach now?" She asked softly. To be honest, she didn't mind doing things like this for him, she felt as if it was a personal gesture of love in a way.

Ingrid smiled, "I sure hope we can." She said softly. When he put his hand on her back she felt a tingling sensation all over and blinked before thanking him for pulling the chair out for her. Whatever that feeling was, Ingrid pushed it aside. She hadn't been touched in a good little minute by a man so she chucked it up to that before smiling brightly. "I did!" She said eagerly and opened the binder up to show him the little white house with its red roof. "I decided the best start would be at the back of the binder where I thought the least picked ones would be good. I don't need anything big or fancy and I found this adorable little thing. It also in my price range, well... the lower end so... I am so glad I came to you." She giggled softly and looked up at him like a child looking up at her father proudly as she showed him what she had found.

Rhyanid laughed a little at her comment about James, giving the kid a wave before going back to eating his food. He blinked at her comment about making some woman very sad, and he smirked a bit. "Well, I sure hope that woman didn't hear me say that just now," he joked. Was that something Isla was into? If their relationship progressed that far, was she going to want him to boss her around or things like that? It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if she did, of course; there were much, much worse things she could be into. He smiled a bit. "My mother would kill me herself if I was like the way you're thinking, I'm pretty sure," he said reassuringly before going back to his food.

Yoranda smiled when he said he was going to believe her, closing her eyes and letting their foreheads press against one another. She was surprised when he suggested looking at a house. He was right, after all - a tavern's upper level was no place to raise their triplets, but it hadn't occurred to her yet that this would be the case. Before she could answer him, though, he started to tickle her sides and she let out a startled squeak, squirming a bit. "I'm only ticklish if you catch me off guard, which you totally just did," she laughed.

Bastian blinked in surprise when Vlora rolled up his pants for him, but he didn't complain. It was sweet of her, and he thanked her softly when she smiled up at him. "Yes, I do," he said when she asked if he wanted to go walking on the beach now, standing up and gently pulling her up to her feet as well. "I have reason to believe that this sunset is going to illuminate that lovely face of yours in a most flattering way. I look forward to seeing this," he told her.

Jerome was rather enjoying her enthusiasm as she said that she had, in fact, found a place that appealed to her. When she showed him the little white house and said how adorable it was, since she didn't need anything big or fancy, he smiled. "It is a lovely house, isn't it? Quaint and affordable. It's not the type of house my clients usually want. I'm sure you noticed that most of the other houses in the book are much larger and more elegant, because those are the types of people who usually do business with me, but truthfully, I've always rather been a fan of this house and when it went on the market, I simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to take it on as an income property. I knew that someone would come along eventually who'd be able to appreciate it as I do," he said. He was, of course, lying through his teeth; that house, along with any of the other ones scattered throughout that book with low rental costs, was one of the ones he had in there for the sole purpose of putting a roof over the head of some vulnerable person who he could then use and manipulate as needed, but she obviously didn't need to know that. "Did you want to see the house before we do any paperwork?" he asked.

James squealed when Rhyan waved and fell on his butt before crawling to a new toy and laid down to play with it. It wouldn't be long before he would pass out, toy in mouth and hand. Isla blinked and shook her head, "well I hope she didn't either since it would make me really scared to have her in my house without me knowing." She giggled before nodding, "Your momma is a good one." She said and ate. Would they even get to that part of the relationship? She had not a clue and she rather not think about it. She pressed a shrimp to her lips and thought about something for a moment before eating it.

Birger chuckled and slide her into his lap and cuddled her, "Muwahahaha, I win over your sides this time." He chuckled and kissed her head softly before standing up and placing her on the bed before going over to a box and digging through it. He pulled out a folder and laughed. "I totally forgot out this. Haera had bought the land next to her but then gave it to me and said that I couldn't stay up here forever... so... I guess it looks like I am going to build a house." He said and then his face went that of a dull one. "I haven't done such work in a good while... my poor body." He sighed and placed the folder on the table and laid next to her.

Vlora giggled and gathered her dress up a bit before walking with him. A blush had begun to spread across her cheeks and nose as he complimented her in such a way. "You really do like to see me melt." She said and leaned on him softly before kissing his shoulder. He was a man who had already won her over.

Ingrid smiled, he might have been nice, but he was a business man so she had to see how far she could take him on this little journey of salesmanship. "Oh, really? Before I sign, since it is small and I really don't have to see the inside and because I trust that you keep your properties up... since you do look like a man of dignity and all." She giggled, giving him a small blush and looking down at her hands before peeking up at him, eagerly. "But I want to know what made you want to take this house up and sale it since you have all these other lovely homes, this one just seems so... hmm... what is that word?" She sighed and shook her head. "I am sorry, I mean... it would seem like it would look boring to someone who can have such big and lovely homes. Like this wouldn't even catch your eye." She said and blinked innocently. "So what caught your eye for this?" She asked and smiled.

Rhyanid laughed when James fell on his butt and kept on eating, but he had to laugh when Isla said that she'd be scared to have someone in her house without knowing about it. "Well, don't worry. If she's in here somewhere listening to us, I'll make her go away," he said with a grin. He nodded when she said his mother was a good one. "She is. She made some mistakes along the way, but she owned up to them and did the best she could with what she had left," he said softly, and then continued to eat.

Yoranda giggled when he cuddled her and said that he'd won, snuggling into him before he randomly stood up and put her on the bed. She scooted a bit further up the bed so she could lie down, watching curiously as he started to dig through a box. When he told her that he owned the land next to Haera's place, a grin came to her lips, and she giggled at his comment about not having done work like that in a good while. "So we're gonna be neighbours to Istrain and Haera? That's...gonna be a lot of kids running around," she giggled. "You could ask people to help out. I'm sure Istrain would be happy to lend a hand, and if Amell's not busy he can definitely help. He just fixed up his place all on his own. Well, Gamaya and I helped out a bit. I painted the bottom half of a wall," she said proudly with a giggle, snuggling up to him when he laid down.

Bastian walked along with her, enjoying the way she gathered up her dress so they could walk along. He chuckled a bit at her words, wrapping a gentle arm around her as she leaned on him. "Now, now... if you melted, I wouldn't have a Vlora to love and cherish any more. I'd have to keep you in a bucket," he said, figuring he'd try his hand at a joke and see if it worked or if it fell flat. He suspected it would be the latter, though.

Jerome smirked a bit with amusement when she said he looked like a man of dignity, gazing across at her when she said the only thing she wanted to know was why this one had caught his eye. "There's something so quaint and innocuous about that house. It's really a charming little place. Not the kind of place I would ever live in, nor have I ever lived in such a place, and perhaps it's the lack of familiarity that drew me to it. I'm not certain," he said. "The important thing, though, is that the house is doing its job. My businesses may cater to the wealthy, but I like to help out the not-so-wealthy when I can. If I only had lavish, expensive homes to rent out, would I have given you my card? No. I gave you my card because I knew that there were a few inexpensive places I had to offer you, and I thought you might benefit from such an offer - and you came, so I was obviously right," he said.

Isla smiled, "But she did well... so... I admire how strong she is and all." She said softly and finished up her plate. When he was done she gently took his dishes and walked into the kitchen before gently placing them in the sink, tippy toeing before going stand next to him. They were almost eye level and she giggled at that. "You look... adorable as a dwarf too." She said softly and kissed his forehead before sitting in his lap. She looked over at her sleeping son. "He passed out... we party way too hard for my poor seahorse." She said softly.

Birger nodded, "Yeah, she said she had to keep an eye on my future wife. If she was caught cheating on me Hae was going to beat her to an inch of her life... I never really needed the land since I was content in here." He said softly and kissed her cheek. "But I think it would be nice, your nieces or nephews with triplets. They can grow up together, be super close." He said before blinking at who she said could help him and laughed. "Oh half walks, huh? That is so sweet of you. Going to have to see this half wall action since my look-alike wants to steal all the good stuff. Hmmm might have to switch clothes and hairstyles with him and see if anyone will notice." He smirked before kissing he cheek and poking her knee softly.

Vlora blinked and looked up at him before laughing, "Oh no... not in a bucket... keep me in a nice vase." She giggled and shook her head. "Clever little joke... you are learning." She giggled and held the back of her hand to her mouth to control it. He was simply too cute sometimes. "Has anyone told you that you are an incredible man? Because honestly, Mi Amor, you are. I am really glad to call you mine." She said softly.

Ingrid smiled softly and nodded, "Mmm so it seems." She said softly. "Well you said I had to sign some papers, yeah? The sooner I can be in there the better, means less money I owe the Innkeeper." She said and looked at him and her innocent smirk turned to an almost devilish one, "You sure do know how to sell things." She said and leaned on the desk, cleavage visible "A reason why I may have been a bit bitter when we talked yesterday is because I know your kind too. How do you think I managed to get here, Mr. Salzin? You have to have a... how did they call it back home? Sweet tongue?" She said and giggled before sitting up. "I have to say... I admire that about you. I am a means to an end. I have been for a very long time. If there is anything else you need from me... well I guess you will know where I live." She smiled once more, it turning back to an innocent one. "At a price, of course." She giggled.

Rhyanid smiled and nodded his agreement when she said that his mother had done well. "She's a remarkable woman. I'm happy with how I turned out, and that's entirely thanks to her," he chuckled. He thanked her softly when she took his dishes, waiting while she took them to the kitchen. He smiled when she kissed his forehead and then blinked in surprise when she seated herself in his lap, winding his arms loosely around her to support her. "I'm sure you'd look as stunning as an elf as you do a dwarf," he told her. He laughed when she said that they partied too hard for James. "Apparently. It's okay. He'll grow into the partying," he teased with a laugh.

Yoranda giggled a bit at Birger's words and shook her head. "Well, that's not gonna be a problem with me," she said. She smiled when he talked about their children growing up alongside her nieces or nephews. "I'd love that. Family's important," she said softly. She giggled when he teased her about helping Amell to paint the wall, shaking her head. "You look nothing like Amell. Literally the only thing you two have in common is that you're really tall, really tough teddy bears. That's it," she said, giggling when he poked her knee.

Bastian blinked when she said to keep her in a nice vase, smiling a bit. "Ma cherie, if you melted into a puddle I would keep you in the finest, most exquisite vase I could find," he said. He smiled when she called him an incredible man, gazing lovingly towards her. "And you are an incredible woman. I am lucky to have met you, Vlora, and I am a lucky man to call you mine," he said softly. He didn't want to admit it, but he'd been finding himself worrying somewhat. What would happen if Vlora woke up one day and the vast differences between them were suddenly an issue? He'd hate to lose her, especially if it was because she decided she wanted someone who could offer her things he never could.

Jerome nodded when she said she had to sign some papers, eyeing her rather curiously when she leaned forward and started to speak with that wicked little grin on her lips. It was definitely intriguing. Perhaps this little prize of his had a dark side. Perhaps he could find more uses for her than he had anticipated. "Well, my dear girl, I'll be sure to keep that in mind," he said, rifling around in his desk and then pulling out some paperwork. "I'm not entirely sure what you think I might need from you, though...I barely know you, and I certainly don't know what your strengths are in order to render them helpful. Perhaps you should tell me some more about yourself," he said, beginning to fill out his section of the paperwork.

Isla like how he wound his long arms around her. She blushed a bit, wanting to run her fingers up the muscles there. She didn't of course. That would be too intimate for her right now. "He better... can't have a pooper. James was so active in my darn belly that he should be a partier. Though... he does go to daycare. There is this little girl, so white and even her hair! Though her eyes are gorgeous. It is red with green speckles. And she is even a twin! Ugh... I want to take them. Anyway, one of the girls and him like to play a lot so... she probably wears him down." She said and gently swayed her feet.

Birger nodded when she said that it wasn't going to be a problem. "Mmm yeah... I think Hae would like that. She is big on family too." He said before smirking. "What? I thought we looked exactly alike. Was going to have to have a talk with my mother." He smirked. "It is probably the bear thing. I could see it... I wonder how he is in a fight... might have to spar with him. I can tell by the look on Hae's face that she is wanting to but you know... her being pregnant and all." He sighed and shook his head. "She is doing surprisingly well with the pregnancy so far. I thought she would have gone nuts by now... but she did go and fight when we had to rescue your brother... well I did most of the damn work, but that couldn't really be helped." He said and then gently poked her belly. "I am just... wondering where in the hell the twin thing came from. Do you have twins in your family? I know I don't." He smirked at her.

Vlora giggled when he told her what kind of vase he would keep her in if she melted. "Well I am glad we are on the same page and happy with each other." She said before going silent and enjoying the night with him. He had gotten quiet and she reached up before letting her dress drag in the water. Vlora reached up and gently poked his cheek. "What is running on your mind, babe?" She asked softly.

Ingrid shrugged and sat a bit more properly in her chair. "Well, let's see... I was kidnapped by your kind. I know pretty much how to survive. In the past five years, I have been using people in order to do so. Name something and I can tell you if I am or not... maybe. Can't have you knowing everything and use that against me." She smirked. "Don't worry, Mr. Salzin... I won't do anything unless you ask, but please be willing to pay the price if you do." She giggled a bit before looking around. "So... how long have you been in business? Did you build your empire from scratch or did you have help?" She asked, actually interested.

Rhyanid chuckled when she said they couldn't have a pooper, and he smirked when she said that James did go to daycare. "Daycare's just a huge party, isn't it?" he asked with a laugh. He smiled and listened while she talked about the little girl James liked to play with, and he smiled. "That's so cute," he told her with a grin. "Have you thought about asking this little girl's family about having a play date? James could play with his little friend, and either you could babysit for the parents or you guys could sit and hang out, maybe make more friends than just Talila and the work crowd," he chuckled.

Yoranda laughed when he joked about looking just like Amell, shaking her head. "Maybe people just don't know how to see the difference between two big teddy bears and that's all it is," she said. "Well, maybe you're just gonna have to spar him to find out. I'm sure he'd be down with that." She smiled and listened quietly while he talked about Haera doing well with the pregnancy, and she giggled a bit at the end. "Twins out of nowhere, hey? Can you imagine having more than just one or two pairs of twins to keep track of?" she asked with a smirk.

Bastian smiled when she said they were on the same page, glancing down at the way her dress dragged in the water. He looked back at her when she poked his cheek, smiling a bit when she asked what was running on his mind. "Well... surely you'll laugh when I tell you, but I must be honest... I keep having these apprehensions, fearing that you are going to find yourself one day...realizing that the differences between us are too much for you. I'm certain that I am...not the kind of man you envisioned yourself with, and we have little in common. I don't view this as a dealbreaker. To be honest, I get too much out of this relationship to be put off by our differences - the differences between us encourage me to open my mind to new possibilities and to try new things - but you don't have that, and I just find myself worrying that you'll change your mind and want someone better-suited to your particular interests," he said.

Jerome frowned a bit when Ingrid said that she had been kidnapped by his kind. He listened attentively, wanting to pick up on whatever he could that might be useful. He had to smirk a it, though, when she commented that she couldn't have him know everything and use it against her. "Well, if I need anything... I know who I can turn to," he said with a bit of a smirk, turning his attention briefly to the paperwork before looking at her when she asked about his business. "It was my father's empire before me. He passed it down to me, little by little, and when he passed on I was already in a good position to take what was left. There are...numerous businesses. Scattered all across this side of the world. It's a lot of work, a lot of travel...a lot of reward, though," he said with a smile before turning the paperwork towards her. "Sign and date on all the marked lines. Feel free to read any fine print in between. I assure you...there's no trickery in these papers," he said, leaning back in his chair to wait while she signed.

Isla listened to him and giggled. "Mmm I have, but the mother scares me. She is half dwarf and is like... six feet tall. Apparently, she hunts for a living and is married to the mayor. She has another on the way too, so cute. She is nice though... I will build up the courage and asked." She giggled. "I was thinking about hanging with Zel and her lunch gang... see how that would go. You sure fish don't count as friends?" She joked and poked his nose softly.

Birger shook his head, "Maybe... you just wanna see me get beat up by a large man and you know it. Now I am going to have to work extra hard so you will never see that." He sighed before smirking. When she asked if he could imagine have more than one set of twins he nodded. "Haera's family has two sets of twins, but lucky on her mother they were both boy and girl and neither of them were identical. I do hope Haera's are identical. I find it amusing on how she is going to keep track of who is who." He chuckled before holding her a bit closer and gently kissing her shoulder.

Vlora listened to him and when he was done she stopped him. "We have enough in common. We both like Hazel for one." She joked a bit with a smirk. "We both like to read and find learning new things enjoyable. Wine is also a good common ground. We both like justice and not being lied to. We have enough in common to where it wouldn't affect us. I find myself enjoying what we don't have in common because it means I can learn. I can grow. What I had envisioned myself to be with would have kept me stuck doing the same thing over and over again. You are a nice surprise and I would be a fool to think that you were someone I would ever get tired of. I enjoy seeing the confusion in your face too much when something goes over your head, Mi Amor. I rather someone I can grow with and that is you." She said softly and gently cupped his face. "I love you." She said softly.

Ingrid listened and smiled, "Ahh I see..." She said and when he turned the papers to her she took them and read over them. If there was anything she wanted to get out of but he had a grasp on her she could always run away... or kill him. Ingrid grabbed a pen from the little pen holder and signed the papers before capping the pen and placing it back then sliding it towards him. "There we go. Anything else?" She asked softly before adjusting the top of her dress.

Rhyanid blinked when she said that the mother scared her. When she explained who it was, he smiled. "I think I've seen her around before. I've never spoken to her, or to the mayor, but I hear they're nice people. I'm sure if you asked her about having a playdate with the kids, she'd be happy to go for it," he told her gently. When she suggested hanging out with Zelipia and her friends, he chuckled, blinking when she poked his nose. "I'm sure Zel would be happy to have you tag along," he told her. "And fish... are not people. There are lots of things people have to offer that animals just can't. Likewise...animals have a lot to offer that people can't."

Yoranda smirked when he teased her about just wanting to see him get beaten up by Amell. "I'm not saying that! I'm also not gonna say I wouldn't be amused if it did happen, though," she giggled. She smirked when he said that he wanted to see Haera struggle to keep track of which twin was which. "She's lucky, though. She's got Istrain. Istrain's been keeping track of identical twin girls since he was like ten, so he's already an expert," she said with a giggle, snuggling closer to him and stifling a yawn.

Bastian kept quiet and just listened while Vlora spoke, and when she was finished and cupped his face and told him that she loved him, he gently slid his arms around her hips and pulled her a little closer to him. "I love you too, ma cherie... and you're right. We both can grow together," he told her. "I'm glad to have found you. You have made me a very, very lucky man," he said with a bit of a chuckle, leaning down and kissing the top of her head gently.

Jerome simply sat back quietly while Ingrid looked over the paperwork and signed and dated the spots indicated. When she was finished and she slid the paperwork back towards him, he smiled and took it, reviewing it. "Your rent will be due the first of the month, every month. Instead of making you pay a full month's rent for the rest of this month, and on such short notice as this, I'll simply ask that you pay rent and a half at the beginning of next month and we'll call it even. There are a few options for paying your rent. You can bring the money or a money order to my office and leave it with my secretary, or I can have somebody come by your home to pick it up. If that's the arrangement, though, you'll have to be home during the day until they pick it up, or we'll have to agree on a place you can leave the money in case you aren't home - the mailbox is always an easy one, although there are some tenants who will just leave it on the kitchen counter and if they don't answer the door, my collector has keys to just let himself in and retrieve the money. Would you prefer to drop the money off here, or would it be easier to have someone come to your house to collect?" he asked, sincerely hoping she'd choose to have someone come by and get the money.

Isla nodded, "Oh she is... they call her goddess on the lake island though since she is graceful when she hunts. I mean... she looks like one and her babies look otherworldly, but..." She giggled. "I will see what I can do. Oh and their names are so odd and cute! Bo and Arrow... I love it." She said and looked at her sleeping son. He was out cold. She loved him so much and she could only hope to give him the best. "So... since you want to steal my son and all would you like to try and get him into his crib without waking him." She asked, smirking.

Birger sighed, "I see how it is. Now I see how you really feel. Mhm." He smirked before listening. "Darn dwarf man... he can't help her. If I gotta struggle she does too. Oh wait... you are an identical twin. Ha... nevermind." He said and tickled her sides once more before getting up and tucking her in. "Now... let me see if I can tell a bedtime story. You are perfect kid size so I can practice being a dad." He smirked before thinking of a story.

Vlora smiled, "Good... now I hope I eased you somewhat." She said and looked back at her house. "I don't think anyone is there... would you like to come in after you are done flirting with the sky?" She asked and pulled him into the water a bit more, smirking. It wouldn't touch his pants and she figured if it did he would get upset.

Ingrid listened to what he had to say about her rent and then thought about it. "Hmm... well I work nights... so hopefully your guy isn't some rude jerk and comes at times that are uncalled for. I will be there during the day... though..." She said, mostly talking to herself. She bit the corner of her bottom lip and thought about it. "Can we start off with him coming get it and if it doesn't work out I can switch to just bringing it here?" She asked.

Rhyanid chuckled a bit when she said how otherworldly this woman's kids looked. "Sounds like you have a bit of a girl crush," he told her jokingly, smirking a bit. When she looked over at James, he followed her gaze, and he blinked when she asked if he'd like to try to get James into his crib without waking him. "I mean, I don't see why not," he said with a laugh. He gently set Isla down on the floor and stood up, walking over to the sleeping James. He reached down and carefully scooped James up, making sure to be slow and gentle, and to avoid any sudden movements. He'd rather not wake up James, especially not when he was hoping to start kissing James's mother, and James would likely be in the way of that.

Yoranda laughed when he said he saw how she really felt, and she smirked a bit when he remembered that he wouldn't be struggling since he'd have her to help him, just like Haera had Istrain. "Exactly. You'll be fine. You'll know which triplet is which, even if all three of them end up fucking identical, although I really hope that's not the case. Plus, when they're born, we'll get Barynn to make little baby bracelets with their names on. That way if you're ever not sure, you just check the bracelet - and you only take the bracelet off for washing the babies, and only ever take one bracelet off at a time or else you're fucked," she giggled. She laughed as he tickled her sides and then let him tuck her in, nodding when he said he'd tell her a bedtime story to practice being a dad. "That's really sweet," she said softly.

Bastian smiled when she said she hoped she'd eased him and he nodded. "You did. Thank you, cherie," he said. He blinked when she asked if he wanted to come in with her, letting her pull him a bit further into the water. "As long as your brother wouldn't be mad or anything. The look on your face tells me I'd be coming in for more than just a glass of wine and some conversation," he told her with a bit of a smirk of his own.

Jerome let her consider his words and he nodded when she came to her decision, quite pleased with it. "Of course we can start off that way. If you decide along the way that it isn't working out, simply let me know ahead of time that you'll switch to bringing it here so I can make sure he doesn't waste his time stopping at your home. Now, we do need to decide upon a pre-determined drop-off location at your home in case you don't answer - in case an emergency comes up and you're not home, for example, because remembering to pay your rent is the last thing on your mind when a friend's life hangs in the balance or something like that. As I said, many people choose to leave it in their mailbox if they leave the house, but others just leave it on the kitchen counter and the collector lets himself in to get it. It's up to you," he told her.

Isla nodded, "I do. Won't lie." She smiled and stood there watching him carefully pick up James. He stirred a bit before settling down. She watched and hurried to open the door, forgetting she had closed it and moved out of his way. Though she loved her son, she needed some loving too.

Birger blinked, "That is a smart idea. Lord... I don't need to fuck up my children's life at birth." He sighed before looking down at her. He smiled softly when she said what he was doing was really sweet. "Okay.... once upon a time, in a far away place there lived a... girl. She was bright and lively, always having a time of her life. Everyone loved her... or so she thought but there was this... bear. He had at first loved her like the rest but he was a dumb old bear. He had played with her and done all the pet things with her until one day that big ole bear lost his marbles. He had hurt her in many ways than one. After his fit of stupid, he felt super stupid and bad so he ran away with a... honey badger. That honey badger had beat him up at first for hurting her then when he ran away she went after him. She told him that he was being silly and needed to figure out why he had lashed out so. Come to find out he has some kind of mind illness and he is working to get better, but he is doing well and is working to be the teddy she needs. The end." He said feeling dumb.

Vlora smirked, "It looks like he is out... and he trusts me not to bring some horrid man into the house that would cause trouble. You are a goodman and he likes you... though he still wants to meet you." She said before walking out with him and cropping up her dress and ring out the water." She looked back and smirked over her shoulder. "Mmm we will see if you let it get more than just a glass of wine and convo." She said softly.

Ingrid thought about it and sighed, "Well... I guess he can come in the house, but if anything goes missing or he fucks up I am sending someone after him and you will be at fault since he is YOUR man and all." She said but smiled. "But I highly doubt this man will do such a thing since he is working for you." Ingrid said.

Rhyanid was quiet, gently carrying James to his nursery and depositing him in the crib. He was relieved that he'd stirred only minimally, and then he turned and crept as silently as he could from the room, smirking as he saw Isla. "Baby is down for the night. We're in the clear," he joked with a grin.

Yoranda giggled at his words. "I'm full of smart ideas when it comes to twin things," she said. She was quiet while he told her his story, giggling a bit when he said dumb old bear. She blinked when he was done, looking at him. "That's so sweet. You're such a sweet big old bear. But that's...definitely not a story to be telling our babies," she said with a giggle.

Bastian smiled when she said that her brother wouldn't have a problem with him coming in, following her out of the water. "I'd like to meet him as well," he told her. He was quite fond of Hazel, and he was very curious about meeting her father. He smiled a bit when she teased him about getting past a glass of wine and conversation. "I have faith," he chuckled, walking after her.

Jerome smiled and nodded when she said that he'd be at fault if anything went missing. "Oh, but of course. My collector would never dare steal from my tenants. He knows better than to risk it with me," he chuckled. "Where in the house do you want to leave the payment if you're not home, then? Kitchen counter, dining room table, shelf by the front door...?" he asked. She certainly seemed to be good at answering questions only partially.

Isla watched him before moving out of his way and closing the door partially closed. She wanted it so he wouldn't hear much and so she could hear him if he cried. A small giggle escaped when he said they were in the clear and motioned for him to follow her. She lead him into the living room and sat on the couch before patting the seat next to her. "Come come... sit sit. Tell me about yourself a bit... I only really know you from work... and your... uhm... adventure with Victoria." She said softly.

Birger groaned a bit when she called him an old ead and when she said the story wasn't for babies he shook his head. "That is why I am practicing on you, silly." He smirked and kissed her forehead before getting up and putting the chair away. "Are you sure you don't want me to sleep upstairs in the spare room or down in the bar on the cot?" He asked softly.

Ingrid's eyebrow rose when he said his worker knew better than to do that with him. What was this elf capable of? He didn't seem like the fighting type. He was nowhere near her ex-husband in muscle and she couldn't see him fighting. He probably paid people to do such a job. Ingrid had to protect herself so she was going to dig up dirt about him as much as she could before getting her hands dirty. "Ahh hmm... let me see... since I don't have really any furniture... I guess I can do a small table by the door that way he doesn't have to go walking around the house and tempt himself with looking around and digging. He can just slip his hand in and grab the money before leaving." She smiled.
