Erorn smiled when he saw James smile at him. He was right, he had a lot of pride, it might be difficult to let go of it. He bent down and ran a finger down James' cheek before kissing him on the other one. "Thank you, Daddy." He said in a sultry voice. Though he tried not to let it embarrass him, his flushed cheeks gave away the fact that it did. He decided to take the weakness and make it a strength. He pulled his hand up to his face giggled and turned away like an innocent school girl.
He was starting to regret showing Erorn's card, if he knew it was affecting him he could be in trouble. James clapped once, That was pretty clever... I am glad you took that step forward. I want you to practice your faces though. Get used to them. I want you to be entranced by your features. You have mesmerizing eyes, Erorn. Next I want you to practice your body language in the mirror. Loosen up a bit. He gently took Erorn's hips and turned him around to face him. I have confidence in you. Also, one more thing, I want you to go back to your childhood, before your parent's death and think of something that made you happy. It will definitely give your innocent look some shine. When I feel like you have mastered something I will treat you. How about we go to town? I will, sadly, have to blindfold you when we leave here to go and there to come back. James stood up when the thunder and lightening started up.
Erorn was beginning to take James' advice. He stood in front of the mirror working on loosening up and he began to think back to the happiest memory he had from when his parents were alive. He remembered one winter when he was about five when his parents took him to the mountains. He remembered playing in the snow with them, then cuddling around the fire with his mom and a big cup of hot cocoa. He felt himself relax as he remembered, his smile came naturally, his eyes brightened and he truly looked like a pure and innocent child. "Going to town sounds like a great idea, Daddy." His voice was lyrical. As James stood up the thunder and lightning began and the loud noise startled Erorn. He jumped and threw his hands to his ears. He was able to suppress his whimpering, but the innocent expression on his face was replaced by one of frustration and irritation. The noise was like a knife in his ears.
The lightning and thunder didn't phase him, but it did Erorn. He took Erorn's hand and lead him down to an area that would make the sounds not so high pitch. He lit the candles as he walked down the dark corridor and down to a basement. It looked like a lounge for entertaining guest. You can stay down here till the storms have passed through. His resting stern face was back. The sounds aren't high pitched here. There are books and drinks if you get bored of your practicing. He turned and began to walk away.
Erorn was frustrated that he was so easily irritated. He was, however, thankful to James for his hospitality. As James turned to leave Erorn manged to get another good smile ready. "Thank you, Daddy, I'll keep practicing." He kept his voice at a normal tone. He turned to the nearest mirror and brought back his memory of the winter trip with his parents. His smile returned and he relaxed his posture. He began making faces in the mirror until he found ones that he thought might be viewed as attractive or innocent looking.
James tried hard not to smirk, but his lips failed him, and he smirked. You are welcome, Erorn. If you need me my room is on the second floor. Take a left and go all the way down. It is the last door on your right. He said before eyeing him one more time and leaving. He walked back up to the main floor and looked out of the window. It was storming like crazy. He wouldn't be able to take Erorn out for a couple days. He shook his head before going upstairs and to his room. He stripped and got into his sweatpants before looking at himself in the mirror. His eye never looking at the eye patch.
Erorn continued practicing until he got tired a few hours later. He poured himself a drink. He wasn't drinking to forget, he wanted to celebrate. He was still giddy by the idea of Marcus becoming putty in his hands. "Soon I will be yours again, Babe." he whispered. He wasn't even sure that Marcus would fall for this stuff, after all he had been trained as well. Erorn was pretty sure that was part of the reason James was doing all this. Some sort of painful history. He took a book and began to read until he passed out.
James woke up and to his surprise it was still storming. It dampered his mood, but he knew that if Erorn even got the hint he was he would go back to his pity mood... and James couldn't deal with that right now. James showered and dressed before going down and making breakfast for the both of them and brought it downstairs. Erorn had fallen asleep on one of the couches. He looked so peaceful. James did nothing as he set Erorn's plate on the table next to him. Rise and shine, buttercup. He deep voice seemed deeper. James grabbed his plate and sat in another seat at the other end of the lounge. He had wondered how the brotherhood was doing on the island.
Erorn woke up and smiled at the fact that James had made breakfast for him. "You're a good cook, Daddy. Were you professionally trained? I'm a pretty good cook, too, but this is amazing." He smiled at him. He couldn't help but realize that Marcus had never made him breakfast, but then Marcus had never learned to cook, so that wasn't a fair comparison. Without even thinking he kissed James on the cheek. "You treat all your hostages this good?" he laughed. He looked into his good eye with a big smile and his eyes looked huge like a cat begging for food.
James chuckled, for the first time in a long time. It surprised him. He then ruffled Erorn's hair. Thanks and not really, my father made us learn everything. From cleaning floors to being a perfect swordsman. I can even sew, but I really rather not. James looked down at Erorn and smiled, I see you have been practicing. I would have taken you out tomorrow, but the storms are still going strong this morning, so it looks like we are going to have to wait a while. Hope you don't mind. He said.
Erorn decided to take it up a level. He sat on James' lap and ran a finger down his cheek. "That's fine, Daddy, I don't really care for the thunder and lightning anyway. Maybe you could help me keep practicing. Or we could do something else to pass the time if you want." He smiled.
James held Erorn's hand with one of his own and the free one press against his back. Straighten up a little bit and you are good. James held Erorn close and smirked, I thought you wanted to save that for Marcus? He tilted Erorn's chin up and brushed his lips against his before whispering, Is this really want you want, Dear?.
Erorn straightened his back as instructed before he smirked and couldn't contain his laughter. "Damn, I'm better at this than I thought, I even had you going." He smiled gently at him. "I'm just trying to do my best, and give you my best work here. If I had met you before Marcus, I'd probably be all over you right now. But you're right, I am saving myself for him." He gave him an honest kiss on the cheek this time. "But thank you for giving me the option." He said sweetly, but genuinely. He looked even cuter when he was being honest than he did while faking it.
Of course, not pleasurable comes from forcing oneself on another. James lifted Erorn and placed him on the seat next to him. I am interested on why you love Marcus so much. Not to be disrespectful, even though Marcus deserves it, but I don't want to offend you and I am really curious. I thought you would have left him a lot earlier than you did. He leaned back in his chair and watched him.
Erorn had never really questioned himself on why he loved Marcus, he just did. He thought for a second before responding. "Well, he challenges me. I don't understand it and I'm sure I'm not explaining it right, but it's like the way he doesn't like to be touched by other men. I saw that as a challenge and I got him to the point where he was allowing me to touch him without him getting physical with me. I just kind of fell for him along the way. Then when I told him how I felt about him, he said he couldn't say it back yet, but he got there eventually. He's made me work so hard for everything I helped him to accomplish, and it's been so much better every time I help him. I can only imagine that if we finally do go all the way, it will be a beautiful and amazing thing." He smiled. "I know you don't care for him, but he's become everything to me, even if I have to stay away from him for his safety for the rest of my life." He looked serious for a few seconds and a little sad.
James listened, like he always did. The kid really loved the bastard, but he knew secrets about Marcus that he himself didn't even know and then the fact that he killed one of his brothers from the brotherhood. It was these things that made James hate the Marcus he knew, but it seemed like Erorn was falling for a new Marcus... which threw a wench in everything. Well if that isn't love, what is? You are learning fast, though I can see you still feel uncomfortable with calling me daddy. The more you say it the more you become numb to the feeling, which means you can fake it. Now... finish eating. I am going to make you do chores, like the good little boy you are. He smiled, taking his own plate and leaving. There wasn't anymore lightning or thunder, just rain.
Erorn agreed, he didn't much care for calling him Daddy, but he knew he'd love calling Marcus that, and Marcus might get a kick out of it as well. He finished his food and brought his plate up to the kitchen. "Did you want me to do the dishes, Daddy? Or were there other chores you wanted me to do around the house?" He asked as he set the plate down in the sink.
James looked down at him when he placed the dish down. No, you will do as I and my brothers have done. Start from the bottom. He dried his hands and walked into the living room and grabbing the neatly folded set of clothes and walked back to him and handing them to him. Then he grabbed the broom, mop, and bucket before placing it next to him. You will clean and shine the floors that are available to you. Doors locked? Move on and find one that isn't.
"As you wish, Daddy."He smiled up at him. "Where do I find the brush and bucket?" He asked with a sweet child-like tone. He wasn't thrilled by this menial work and it was taking all his self control to not lose his temper and go off on James. He thought about his trip to the mountains again and was able to keep a smile on his face.
James blinked and snapped his fingers. I forgot about that. He walked off and dug in a closet in the hall before returning with another bucket and a brush and placing it next to the other bucket. There you go. Oh... and I can see your annoyance. You are trying, which is all I ask, but work on it. I know Marcus would never ask his toy to do such things... but then again... you two didn't seem to be working all that well. Maybe a submissive lover is the best lover... who knows. Now go, have fun. I have work to do myself. He turned on his heels and walked away and into the library.
Erorn went to cleaning the house, starting on the top floor of the house and working his way down. As he went, he began calling on other fond memories from his childhood. He remembered his first time fishing with his father, his mother teaching him how to cook, and the smell of the cookies she used to bake in the winter time for the holidays."Damn I miss those cookies. I wish she would have given me the recipe." Before he knew it he was done with the floors in all of the rooms he was able to get to. He calmly waited for James to finish with his own wor k.
James had dusted and cleaned the library before falling asleep on the couch. It was a couple hours when he jumped forward and realized he had Erorn with him. James calmed down and fixed his vest and hair before walking out of the library and into the living room where Erorn was sitting. His cheeks were flushed from the work and James had the urge to run his thumb over them. I apologize, fell asleep. How was the work?We should be good for the rest of the day. You are free, if you need me... you can just scream my name and I will come. He smiled and walked up the stairs. With the rain there wasn't much he could do, but be stuck in the house with a boy who was caught on a man who couldn't be a man and step up.
Erorn went back to his room and began reading. He hadn't had the chance to really get into a book for a long time. He looked out the window to see the rain. He thought it was funny how he hated the sound of thunder and lightning but found the sound of rain by itself to be relaxing. He smiled and relaxed for the first time since leaving Marcus.
James missed his brothers. The house was quiet without them. He wondered if things were going good on the islands again and wished he would have gone with them. He might not have liked the people too much, but he did like the scenery. He opened one of the locked doors and walked in. He spent a few hours in there before coming out and showering. He decided to get work on dinner and wondered what Erorn would like. James knocked on the door softly and slowly opened the door, I'm cooking, what would you like? He asked, peeking his head in and leaving the rest of his body out in the hall.
Erorn looked up and gave him a gentle smile. "I would love to have some of my Mom's cookies right now, but that's not really something for dinner. If you could make some pork chops, I'd love that or whatever you have around to make will be great too I'm sure, Daddy. I'm not really picky. I could help you if you like too." He Noticed how it was becoming easier to call him Daddy, just like he said it would.
