Elwin didn't hear Atlas move at all. He was about to open his eyes when he got jumped. Freaking out he opened his eyes and automatically tried pushing whoever was about to kill him away, but then he realized it was Atlas. Looking up at him, he patted Atlas. "I always wanted to die in another man's arms... almost got my wish." He laughed breathlessly, still a bit shaken up. His face was almost as red as his hair. He could smell Atlas' home in his clothes, which always smelled like coffee and bread. "I could eat you up." He whispered before he realized what he said. Elwin's eyes widened and he covered his mouth.
Elwin was beet red. He hadn't meant to say that out loud, he was just caught up in the moment. He looked up at Atlas too afraid to move. His laughing was the best thing he had heard from Atlas, it was a true laugh, not some small chuckle or giggle. He liked hearing it, even if it came at a cost. "I didn't... that wasn't suppose to come out." He whispered.
Elwin ran his hand down the side of Atlas. He didn't know where to put his hands. He liked being this close to him but he also was nervous as all hell. Elwin was about to say something when he saw a flash of green and then he heard his door close."What I told you about doing things? I want to watch." Roshia said. scooting a chair in front of the door and sitting. "I have time." She smirked.
Elwin sighed, smiling. If he only had a little long. Both, Roshia and Elwin laughed. "Roshia, you have one already. Let me have this one, please." He pretended to plead with her. She smiled, "Sorry no can do, now turn around and give him the booty." She smirked. Elwin grew red. He looked at Atlas, turned over and crawled to him before kissing his forehead. "I will save you." He whispered and got up. "I have a dress to put you in." Roshia nodded, moving her chair and turned to Atlas, winking. "I'm going to have to ask Rowan to make yall let me watch one day." She pouted as they walked into the living room. She took the dress and went into the guest room.
Ameria was given the duty of doing Roshia's hair, which she didn't mind. She had to talk with her anyway and she assumed she could have some private time with her. She walked into Elwin's home to see Atlas and Elwin himself standing there. If she hadn't received that warning from the Seerer she would have been happy to see them both look so happy. Now, she didn't know how Atlas would hurt Elwin, the Seerer never gave her details, but hurt was hurt no matter what. She nodded her head to both of them "You two boys look handsome." She smiled.
"Thank you, what are you here for? Shouldn't you be with the others at the lake?" Elwin said.
"I got hair duty. So if you could point me in the direction of this gorgeous bride, I will be out of you two's hair." She said, putting down the piece of fabric she was playing with.
"The guest room down the hall." He pointed.
Thank you, dear." She glided pass them, glarin at Atas for a moment before entering the hallway and moments later disappearing into the room.
Roshia was standing in front of the mirror staring at herself when Ameria walked in. She looked up at her and smiled. "Hello."
"Hello, love. My, you are gorgeous. You are better suited for the dress than I ever was. Now sit, I am going to do your hair." Ameria wanted to cry, she wasn't ready to give one of her siblings away. Roshia obeyed and sat down. Ameria got started right away with her hair. "I also needed to talk to you." Her voice was a bit low so that no one outside of the room could hear.
Roshia looked up in the mirror, "Okay."
"I know about you and the baby." She said softly. Roshia's body stiffened. "Don't worry, I was told my a seer. Your secret is safe with me. I also know that you don't know whose baby it is for." Roshia looked down, ashamed. "Don't look so shamed, it happens to the best of us, well I mean the whole sleeping with Nasir bit, I didn't end up pregnant." Roshia's eyes got wide. "Are you really that surprised? Anyway, what you are doing... is smart. You got the mayor's son to marry you. Does he know that you are pregnant for someone else's child, especially that someone is your own brother?"
Roshia looked up at Ameria in the mirror, she was tired and she felt like she was being taunted, "I might as well tell you the whole damn story. Yes I slept with Nasir. That night Elwin caught us together. Elwin and I got in an argument that lead me to go to the tavern by the lake. I met Rowan there, but it was just for small chit chat. A few days later Rowan and I slept together. I don't know if this baby is for Rowan or Nasir. I told Rowan EVERYTHING, including the stuff with Nasir. Rowan was the one to propose marriage, not me. So you can take this taunting shit elsewhere. I am tired and sick. I can barely keep anything down and I have to look like I am not pregnant because we are waiting to tell them that we are expecting three or so weeks after the pregnancy. Mother knows that I am, but she thinks it is for Rowan."
Ameria finished the last bit of her hair and placed the baby breaths pins in. "I am sorry I have upset you. I didn't mean for that to happen. Nasir... wasn't always like this... when we were younger, around fourteen or fifteen he went out into the woods for some materials and came back hours later. He hadn't spoke to anyone, not even me. It wasn't too long after that that Nasir and I got intimate, for of forcefully, but I thought that if I did I could get to the meaning of why the sudden change. I never got a direct answer, but something dark is inside of Nasir... I just hope he doesn't let it consume him." She took a deep breath, stepping in front of her, "What I am trying to say is, did he force you to be intimate with him? Because if so I have to act fast. The whole reason why I was away is so that I could look for whoever did this to him and if I can get rid of whatever is inside him."
Roshia was utterly confused, What the hell? What is wrong with Nasir? Will our baby... She held her hand against her stomach. She looked at Ameria, "No, no he didn't. It was a mutual thing." She whispered.
Ameria smiled, placing her hand over Roshia's. "I am glad to hear. Your baby will be fine, it has a strong mother. Now let's get going. Someone has to get married." Ameria helped her sister up and walked out to the boys. "Come one, Roshia. You have to show the boys what true beauty is all about." Roshia slowly walked our her dress on and her hair done. Her eyes looked down at the floor as she blushed.
"You look stunning, Rowans a lucky man" Atlas said with a smile. She really did look lovely. Atlas avoided even looking at Ameria, he knew his expressions would probably betray him, and then he'd have to answer to Elwin about it. Atlas didnt want to have another tense period before them again, especially so soon after the last one.
"Elwin, can you help Roshia with the dress and get her to the lake. The last thing we need today is for her dress to get dirty before the groom even gets to see her. Atlas can you stay behind with me for a moment?" She smiled gently. Elwin nodded and walked behind Roshia. He gently gathered up the back of the dress and walked with her as she moved. He winked at Atlas before walking out the door.
Ameria kept a smile and turned to see Nasir walk in. "Good you are here, guard the door." Nasir nodded, his face as stern as ever. He never liked playing Ameria's game, but he had no choice. She threatened to expose Roshia's secret if he didn't help. Her attention turned Atlas and she walked over to him. He hands ran down his chest before pulling him into a kiss. His lips were warm, she could see why Elwin liked him so much. Nasir sighed, he hadn't known this was going to happen.
"Really, Ameria? Can't you just leave people alone? What is the fucking point of this?!" Nasir was pissed. His voice was deep and angry. If he could strangle her he would.
Ameria turned her head to him, "Shut up and do what I told you to do. Unless you want everyone to know what you and Roshia have been up to and how possibly that baby isn't Rowans." She hissed at him. Nasir got quiet, glaring at her before rolling his eyes and leaning against the door.
She looked back at Atlas, smirking, "I told you, you were going to hurt Elwin in the end, because you see... if you tell him about this not only will he know that we did a little something but you too will be responsible for Roshia going down in flames. Tell him or anyone about this and the whole town will know her secret. Got it?" She smiled innocently. Patting his chest gently.
Ameria laughed, "Don't be so angry, or do. I love the way your eyes glow. There is nothing wrong in getting what you want. I saw you. I wanted you and I got you. Plus you still get to keep Elwin. Roshia is safe. And everyone can live happily ever after if they just play by my rules." She smiled and walked to the window. Elwin and Roshia was a ways before the path that would lead them to the lake. She looked over her shoulder at Atlas, "How about a quick one before the wedding?" She smirked. Nasir groaned.
Ameria was the first one out of the room, she fixed her hair and smiled at her brother, but he wasn't smiling. "If you wanted to watch you could." Nasir shook his head and walked out. She turned when Atlas finally came out. "We should head off to the wedding, no? Remember, this is our secret." She smiled innocently running her hands up his chest. "You look angry, but you know full well you enjoyed it. Actions always speak louder than words."
Roshia took the time to go get changed herself in her room. She placed the dress back on its hanger and slipped on her white gown, from when they first met. She looked down and almost laughed. Then she hurried and tidied the room so it looked a bit decent when he slept in there. Once she was finished she walked out, playing with the side of her gown nervously. "The room is all yours..."
Roshia gasped when he picked her up, praying he wouldn't drop her and the baby.
He had placed her on the bed gently before cuddling up with her. She blushed, but she had to admit to herself she loved it. Roshia bit her lip as his hand trailed down her side and blushed twice as hard when he rubbed her still flat and toned belly. She slide her hand on top of his and whispered "Goodnight, Rowan."
(her outfit )
Nasir had been up for a few hours. He had been thinking of everything that had happened in the short time Ameria was here. He had to do something before she completely destroyed everyone in her path. He loved her... or so he thought, but she had been like this since they were kids. She never let him out of her sight. Nasir placed his head in his hands, the only thing he could do was kill her. She knew very important secrets and of they were to come to light...
He heard the knock on the door and looked down at his attired. "Shit." He hadn't changed since last night. He opened the door, "Hey come in, I just have to change. You look lovely." He let the door open and walked away to his room. There he changed into a white loose shirt and some comfortable pants. He walked back out just, tucking in the front part of his shirt.
"Sorry, I lost track of time. So where are we headed? From the looks of it I may be underdressed," He said with a nervous laugh.
