Papoa Lake

Dol giggled and shook her head, "Sorry kiddo, you heard the man." She said softly. Adrianna just stared up at both of them as she fed. It was surreal now. She had a baby and a man. She was happy, despite this hickup. Dol blinked and looked up at Micah. "You have to go see KiKi tomorrow. I am supposed to go meet her at her apartment and do a checkup. Make sure she isn't slipping... you think you can bring her here and I could do my evaluation, plus she can see the baby." She said softly.

Lorelei blinked, "So... that is a no?" She said and looked around. Codon came in and blinked, "Are you... wanting to tell me something, Astrid?" He asked and Lorelei looked up at him and smirked, "I am trying to figure out the same thing. She was very vague about her answer and she threw Adrian at me... so now I am distracted. She is good, Codon... very good." She said and he looked at her. "I can see... well..." he said and watched Lorelei walk off again. "Wait... no..." He sighed and sat next to Astrid. "So... Lor is suicidal and she doesn't want me to tell Adrian that she still wants to jump off a damn cliff. Said she has to pretend to be happy for his sake... but we can't tell Adrian." He frowned.

Micah nodded. "Do I need to like...search her apartment for drugs..? She's hella good at hiding that shit." He said and then nodded. "Yeah I'll bring her over here too and she can see you and Adrianna." He said.

Astrid blinked and.shook her head. "I'm not even gonna think about all that till the medicine Lor gave me does it's stuff..." She said. She watched Lor walk away and then looked at Codon and sighed. "Well...I wish there was something we could do to help her. But at this point I don't even think getting pregnant would really help her...as hopeful as Adrian is that it will..."

Dol blinked, "Yeah... but bring her here first so I can distract her with a baby and my evaluation." She smirked. "But she has been so good... and her new job is going well... so I hope she hasn't slid back." She said softly. When the baby was done eating she blinked. "Uhh how do I burb her?" She asked him, as if he would know. Codon sighed and leaned his head on her shoulder, "That baby name, Abdul... totally gonna name my child that." He smirkd.

Micah nodded. "Well yeah. I don't she has, she actually seems to want to get better this time. I've tried with her before and she didn't really want to so it didn't work. But she seems to want to be better." He said and then blinked a little bit. "I'll go ask." He said and walked out to find Lor. "So uhm....How exactly are we supposed to burp her when we can't actually hold her?" He asked softly.

Astrid blinked and then shook her head. "Gonna have to veto that one dear." She said and then flipped through a couple more pages, not really finding anything bookmarked or anything. "Jesus there's so many names in here I'm not sure how people really go through them all.." she said softly.

Lorelei blinked and looked up at him, "Oh... I mean you can. Hold on." She said and walked with him back to the room and gently took Adrianna out of the incubator and gently held her like so. "You want to hold her like this. I am going to show you and then next time you will know. Always make sure she is covered until she can produce and retain her own heat." She said softly before gently tapping her back until she burped. "I know it looks like a jerk thing to do to such a small baby, but it has to be done... especially since her lungs aren't up to what they should be." She said softly before putting her back in the incubator. "Let her stay in there for about an hour and I think it will be okay for you two to hold her, but not for super long... like... thirty minutes at most." She said softly before leaving the room.

Lorelei walked past the two and back to where she was hiding. Codon looked up for a second before looking back down, "I see your brother can't pick a name. Imma talk him into naming the kid Abdul." He smirked and kissed her cheek. "We can always name them after fighting moves." He smirked.

Micah blinked and watched her with his daughter careful so he could do things the right way and then nodded when she said they could hold her in about an hour but keep her covered. He looked back at Dol. "Well at least we get to hold her a little bit here and there." He said and then blinked. "Well...I don't..I don't think I should, I'm not warm enough to keep her warm. But I can enjoy getting to see you hold her." He said.

Astrid shrugged. "We don't know how long he's had the book. Maybe he hasn't had time. And I doubt you can convince him to name his child Abdul." She said and then shook her head. "Oh yes, we can name the first one roundhouse and if we have more the second will be throat punch." She said.

Dol smiled at him softly, "You are going to hold your baby. We will just give her an extra blanket... oh! I could get my cousin to make her a tiny sweater... some like yours so you two can match." She giggled. "It will be... so damn cute." She said and looked over to see Adrianna staring at him. "Oh... now you gotta... she staring at you." Dol said softly.

Codon laughed a hearty laugh and shook his head. "Oh yes... that is... priceless names, babe. One of a kind! No one would think to mess or name their kid that." He said softly and booped her nose before looking at more names. He liked this, being here and looking at such things... even if they weren't going to have any soon.

Micah sighed a little. "Okay...but if she so much as seems like she might be even a little cool I'm putting her back in the incubator. " He said. "I'll get those hand warmers so my hands aren't cold too and make sure she's bundled up enough." He said and looked at his daughter. "she's probably wondering why her dad looks like a dead fish." He joked.

Astrid giggled and shook her head. "Well no, but I'm afraid people would be afraid of them if we gave them such frightening names." She said and leaned on him a little more. She did want to try to have kids with him again at some point, but right now she was really scared to think of what might happen if they did and she couldn't carry it to term so she didn't want to think about it too much. It was nice to be like this, most men would be a little wigged out about their girlfriends talking about baby names.

Dol smiled and nodded, "Sounds good." She said softly and took one of his hands and kissed it softly. "I will make this one warm." She whispered before laughing at him. "Oh no... baby girl you love your daddy no matter what his dead eyes look like, huh?" She said softly and gently rubbed her hand. Adrianna moved her legs and arms. "She says she loves you lots and more than mommy. Wait..." She said and looked at the baby. "I will let you win this time, missy." She smiled.

Codon laughed a bit and shook his head. "Darn... what about their middle names?" He laughed and held her closer. "Mmm what about naming them after our favorite food?" He asked and kissed her cheek. "Pizza sounds like a grand name." He chuckled and nibbled on her.

Micah smiled a little bit. "Good, this is much better than the hand warmers anyways." He said and trn laughed a little bit. "We'll see if she's like that still when she's a teenager." He joked.

Astrid couldn't stop giggling. "Only if I get to name one cinnamon roll." She said and then shook her head. "It's probably fairest to them that we stick to somewhat more normal names. Well, mines sorta normal, but I've always hated it." She said and shook her head. "So let's shoot for names they won't hate.

Dol smiled and kissed his hand once more. "If you put her dates in bubbles, Mic... I swear... you better wait till I am around and can laugh with you." She smirked and looked up at him. It was nice having him here with her. It was nice that she had had his baby, though she much rather it have been 3 more months than now, but he was her solid through it all. She leaned her forehead on his arm and closed her eyes. "I wanna marry you one day, Mic." She whispered.

Codon loved her giggle. "Cinnamon roll sounds like a stripper name." He laughed. "Okay... yes... normal names." He said softly and kissed her shoulder. "I love your name, what are you even talking about. It suits you so well." He said and held her hand before kissing it softly. "You know what's a weird name? Aspen... but I thank goodness that it is a good dragon's name." He smirked. Raphael sighed. "Dear god you two..." He said and walked into Dol and Micah's room downstairs. "Hey... you ready for lesson two?" He asked.

Micah sighed. "I gotta put them in the bubbles before they can run hun. You're just going to have really good timing to catch me doing it." He said. He blinked when she said she wanted to marry her some day and was about to say something but then Raphael walked in. "Yeah, let's get that started." He said.

Astrid giggled again. "Hey, you leave my baby cinnamon roll alone mister. She's a gem." She said and then shook her head. "Well you can name an animal mister fluffkins and that's acceptable to most people. Animals don't get self conscious about their names." She said with a laugh. He blinked at the Micah look alike and watched him walk off. "I kinda forgot he was there..." She mumbled.

Dol sighed, "damn... well... if she is going on a date then I will make sure to be there so I can watch." She giggled before glaring a bit at the Micah look alike. Raphael looked dully at Dol, "Don't give me that look." He said and she huffed. "Your timing sucks." She said and he blinked before point to Adrianna. "SHE needs it... she had a timed schedule for these things. Get on it." He huffed before looking at Micah he produced two earings like his. "You don't have to wear them... and I would rather you not since we already look a like, but just place your finger in the hole," Dol giggled and Raphael looked so done. "You place it right here and just dump energy into it, it will hold, and then just turn it over and place it on her chest and push it out like you normally would. I would do it like that until you can tell when to stop. We can work on Dol next. Adults are usually better to practice on than babies. But when you push energy into them you can feel when they have reached their max. It is kind of like... a push back." He said.

Codon shook his head, "Gem... another stripper name." He smirked. When she said she forgot Raphael was there he laughed, "That man sure knows how to make himself disappear when he wants to." Lorelei came back out and looked at them. "Where did you two weirdos put Adrian?" She asked.

Micah blinked. "Ya know. He might just be a little tiny bit adorable when he huffs like that." He joked. He listened and then nodded a little bit and did what he was told to do, being careful not to fuck up or something like that.

Astrid laughed a little bit. "Maybe I just have a thing for strippers?" She said. She looked up at Lorlelei and blinked. "He went to get-" she started to talk but then Adrian walked in with a cake and a tub of ice cream. "I got cake...and then on the way I passed Noah's ice cream shop and then bought a whole tub of that Adri ice cream that you love Lor. So I got a little distracted. But there's cake and ice cream and that's what's important." He said. Astrid shook her head. "Lor was starting to wonder where we put you." She said and Adrian blinked. "That's okay. For a minute there I wondered where I had put me too."

Raphael glared at him a bit before watching him do what he was told. When they were done he nodded, "You are a quick learner, thank goodness. Your girlfriend must be so proud." He said and walked over to Adrianna and gently played with her fist, which she latched on to before sleeping. "Shit." He whispered before gently removing her tiny fingers from his and walking out to see the tall blond man, Adrian had returned but went to his normal spot. Dol blinked and smirked, "someone has a soft spot."

Lorelei laughed a bit and shook her head. "Ya a doofus. Come on let's leave these two alone. Apparently, your sister loves strippers so much she wants to give their child a stripper name. So... I think you inherit the weird." She sighed and walked into the kitchen with him. "You had fun out there? Gonna eat all your cake. Nom Nom Nom." She smirked.

Micah tried not to laugh when Raphael got stuck with Adrianna asleep, clinging to his finger. "A rather obvious soft spot at that. He was rather eager not to let us see it though." He said and shook his head at all of that. "Well, I suppose now we wait till she wakes up to hold her. You need anything?" He asked.

Adrian blinked. "Well her parents DID name her Astrid. Which is completely random since our older brother and I have pretty normal names. " He said and walked to the kitchen with her. "You can't eat the whooole cake Lor. AND ice cream.silly girl. I can eat the whole cake though, I'd not like to admit how many times I've actually done that though...." He said. Astrid just huffed a little and leaned on Codon. "Those two are something else...." She mumbled.

Dol giggled and shook her head, "Imma tease him about it next time I see him... no... when we are out in public, yes." She giggled evilly before nodded. "I do... a new mattress. Can you see if Codon is back with it and some clean clothes. I am going to go shower when you two get back." She said softly.

Codon laughed, "Mmm those two are cute together though... even when she is suicidal." He said softly and kissed her cheek. "I love your stripper name though." He smirked and Raphael mentally groaned. Lorelei huffed, "NOW I am going to prove to you that I can eat that whole cake by myself." She smirked. "Just because you said I couldn't... I will probably explode trying... but at least I will prove you wrong, Mister." She laughed softly.

Micah nodded. "He should be. It's been a while. " He said and got up and walked out and found Codon. "We should probably go ahead and get that new mattress set up and the old one thrown out. Dols gonna take a shower and I think she'd probably like to lay down again when she's out." He said.

Adrian blinked and then shook his head. "Ya gotta share. I made sure to get enough for everyone. Mostly cuz i look like such a fatty just sitting there eating three pieces of cake by myself. And partially because we have a baby making it to celebrate." He said and then kissed her nose. "I'll challenge you to a cake eating contest another time though." He said.

Codon looked up from Astrid and nodded, "sounds good. I need you to open the door though... I mean... you won't look as cute as Astrid doing it, but..." He smirked and went get the mattress before waiting on Micah and slide it right in. Dol got up and moved the incubator softly and watched as Codon took the mattress off with ease and slide the new one on. "I bought mattress protectors too just in case." He said softly. "I will put them on while you shower." He said softly and kissed the top of her head before walking out and getting them on while Dol went shower after kissing her baby's hand softly before going. Codon stayed in the room and peeked out for Astrid to come in.

Lorelei sighed, "Fine, but Dol can't have cake. She is going to be on a strict diet for a bit..." she said softly and grabbed some ice cream before sitting. "And good... I can not eat for like four days and then we can do it." Lorelei said and ate he ice cream.

Micah shook his head at Codon and held the door open for him, watching Dol walk out and then Astrid get up and walk over. "You should probably go get something to eat or something while you have a moment." .She said softly to Micah and then he hesitantly walked off and found Lorelei and Adrian in the kitchen with cake and ice cream. "You two would be standing in my kitchen eating cake and ice cream..." He said and Adrian huffed. "It's always a good time for cake." He said and then eyed Micah as he went to make some coffee while Astrid and Codon were ogling his child. Astrid walked in and gasped a little bit. " You weren't kidding even a little when you said she was tiny....She's beautiful though..." She said as she leaned down to look at the baby. Seeing Adrianna made her think about the baby she had lost which made her sad, but she wasn't about to let that dampen the moment. "She's going to grow up and be so damn stunning." She said softly.

Lorelei looked over at Micah and blinked, "We decided on a cake eating contest... he scared I am going to beat him. My trick is to not eat for a few days. Tots gonna win." She smirked and took a bite of her food. "Mmm I am going to sleep here for a couple nights, just to make sure everything is okay. This is about to get some kinds of personal, but fuck it. I am your doctor and Dol's and Adrianna's. When was the last time you and Dol got... physical?" She asked. Codon looked up at her with the proudest smiled. "It is obvious she gets her looks from me." He said with a chuckle. He looked back down at her and smiled softly, "She is... I really though she would have her father's dead fish eyes... the baby was blessed." He smirked.

Adrian sighed. "You better eat. " He said and pointed his fork at her. Micah blinked and then thought about things for a second. "Uh...a couple of days ago. We cut back on that because we read somewhere it could cause contractions if ya don't it too much." He said and shrugged a little bit. Astrid couldn't help but giggle a little bit. "Well you are gorgeous too dear." She said and then laughed a little bit. "No she's fortunate that she didn't. I'm pretty sure people aren't born with eyes that dead though." She said.

Lorelei slowly looked at Adrian, "Keep telling me what to do and watch me start calling you daddy in the bedroom." She said before looking back at Micah. "Mmm well... it could be the reason... but it shouldn't have made her bleed." She said and sighed. "Gonna have to start asking tough questions. Gonna give it a few days so I can mentally prepare." She sighed and looked down at her food before poking at it. Codon looked at her and frowned, "no... I guess you are right..." He said softly and gently touched her hand. She was too damn tiny. "Dol was a tiny baby... but... not this tiny. When our father brought her home she was all giggles, despite her not have been fed or changed for like a day. Dad got her fed and cleaned before coming home. Fabian was the one to take her in almost automatically. He had her in our room. It took me a couple days to warm up to her." He said softly.

Micah blinked. "You mean you don't already? Oh my." He said and then sighed a little bit. "You really have to ask us a shit ton of tough questions after the fact? I'm not sure how it's gonna help much but okay." He said and then walked out with his coffee. Adrian shook his head. "....Yeah they're probably gonna need a few days before you start asking them shit anyways. Could make them feel even more like it's their fault this happened. Even if it is necessary." He sighed. "I don't envy you working with live people...You gotta deal with their emotions too."

Astrid smiled a little bit. "Adrian was a huge damn baby. He weighed like ten pounds and a few ounces. Or dad always told us how damn chubby he was. I've got pictures somewhere... I meant to show them to him and Lor but then...Well they're struggling and I don't want to do that to them." She said and then blinked. "I wonder what Micah was like was like as a baby..." She said.

Lorelei blinked and then when Adrian butted in she threw the dishes in the sink and walked out of the house. It was fucking necessary so Dol didn't fucking go into bleeding herself to death. She slammed the front door when she left and headed out. Dol had just walked out the bathroom and blinked while Codon walked out. "What the fuck did you say to her or was it Adrian?" He growled before going find Adrian. "Or did you say shit?" He asked and Dol blinked, lost. "What is going on?" She asked before watching Codon run after her. She sighed, "Please don't tell me you and Lor got into it." She said to Micah. When Codon caught up to her he tried to stop her but she twisted his hand and had him on the ground. "Fuck off, Codon. I don't want your fucking help." she said and threw his hand away before walking off. "Please... don't do anything stupid." He said and she said nothing as she walked off and he scrambled up and ran after her. "What happened? Just... tell me that and I will leave."

Lorelei looked up at him, "Micah and Adrian... I fucking get this situation is serious. I am the goddamn doctor. I know more than fucking both of them how bad this is. But Dol was fucking BLEEDING for no apparent reason. I said I would wait for a few days and Micah got his snippy ass and then Adrian... fucking joined him." She said and shook her head. She fought back the tears. "We are going to fucking play it by Micah's game. If Dol dies it is on his hands." She said and walked away. "Fucking should have said no when he asked me to marry his stupid ass." She said and Codon couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"You... seriously going to let her die... because of Micah?" He said. "She was your best friend, Lor..." He said and she flicked him off before going back in the house and walking past everyone and grabbing Adrian by the neck. "If she fucking hurts herself, I will snap your neck personally." He growled and threw him back and walked over to Micah and glared at him. "And if Dol dies... you have no idea what I will do to you." He said and walked out, leaving Astrid.
