Setting
Papoa lake is a very large, serene lake on one of the small islands near the main city of Veritas island. It is surrounded by land that has been used for farming and livestock for many years and has rich soil and lush greenery. The river itself contains a plethora of fish and is a popular fishing spot among the inhabitants of the main city. One side of the lake offers a beach that it open during the summers to tourists and locals, though the other is made up of privately owned farms and fields.

Daryl listened and nodded, "I am sure that they won't. Bo... I can't promise anything on because she is already feisty and she is going to do what she wants. Arrow, on the other hand, will probably be easier. Though Bo loves her dad a whole lot. The other day I saw her run straight into him, face first into his knee... and... and flew back." He laughed. "I shouldn't laugh but the look of sheer horror on Rowan's face... oh god... and then Roshia came out asking why the hell he was kneeing her babies..." He rubbed his face before trying to calm down. "Bo in the meantime wasn't even freaking crying she giggled and got up... another reason I couldn't just move. I get pure entertainment every time I am outside." He said before looking at her. "Hun, I am my own boss. I am off when I want to be and Roshia's horrible ass is always stealing my damn daughter." He sighed and Roshia peeked in the window. "Bitch what you said?" She asked and Darly jumped before screaming. Roshia couldn't stop laughing and moved from the window before grabbing her babies and walking off. "You... heard none of that, Soph."
Sophie couldn't help but to giggle at the story. "Rowan came to work the next day moping about it. He felt so bad that she ran into his knee and he couldn't grab her in time." She said and the. Jumped a little when Daryl screamed before just completely dying laughing. "That was the best thing I have ever witnessed in my entire life. Oh I could die feeling complete right now..." She said when she could breathe again. "Ugh that...was so great. I needed that so much. " She said and calmed down. "I'm free pretty much every day past five so, Rowan makes sure I'm home in time for dinner with my cat, apparently. "
Daryl sighed and shook his head. "I swear I am manly." He said. "It is just that damn woman...She so scary, Soph." He pouted before laughing a bit. "I am glad I can supply you with what you need, Soph. Always." He sighed before blinking. "Are you sure you want me to take up your dinner time with your cat?" He smirked.
Sophie sighed. "She really is. How Rowan's not scared of her all the time, I don't know. Even on my meds that woman still scares me. I'm always afraid she's gonna kick my butt." She said and shook her head. "Louis will be fine. I'll just give him extra treats when I get home. and he'll forget all about me missing our normal dinner time. Besides, I can distract him by telling him all about your scream just now and we'll have a laugh. Things will be fine." She said and waved a dismissive hand about it. "He got used to when you'd come over, he still peeks around me when I open the door to see if it's you and Gene. But then he just seems bored when it's not you two and he goes and sleeps in my closet like a weirdo..." She sighed.
Daryl shrugged, "Maybe he is being held, hostage. You should ask him when you two are back at work." He said. When she said her and the cat will laugh at him he sighed and glared a bit. "So rude, Miss Sophie." He smirked a bit before frowning. "I am sorry to disappoint Louis. I am going to walk you home after the date so... he will get to see me then." He said softly. "Is tomorrow good?" He asked.
Sophie blinked. "Imagine holding the mayor of all people hostage...I'd be concerned that he's mayor if he went and got himself in a situation like that." She said and then smirked a little bit. "The cats gotta know okay? He won't tell anyone." She said and then nodded. "Tomorrow works well for me. What time should I be ready?" She asked. She wasn't even going to pretend she wasn't kind of excited for the date. She had missed him, but never thought that she'd ever be on another date with him after what happened between them.
Daryl blinked, "Ros went ape in a police station and got their tallest cop to beg her not to hurt him. He HID behind Rowan. She would do it if she had a reason to." He sighed. When she smirked he about melted. The makeup made her look a bit spicier, but he could still see the innocence in her eyes. When she asked when she should be ready he thought about it. "Six-thirty work for you?" He asked softly.
Sophie shook her head. "That doesn't surprise me at all. Rowan said he's more a a detective though. I met him the other day, he was looking into something in the building. Some kind of complaint that the HR team couldn't handle." She said and shrugged. "He seems too cheery to want to get in pissed of Roshias way. Pretty much everyone in the city knows better than to do that though." She said and then nodded. "Six thirty is perfect. Gives me time to change into some more date appropriate clothes. How formally should I dress?" She asked, figuring that way she couldn't be over or under dressed.
Daryl shook his head, "She really hates the city." He said and blinked when she asked him about outfits. "Uh... normal? I guess? I really don't know what you mean by normal now." He said and rubbed the back of his neck. "Anything will be fine, really. You look good in anything." He said.
Sophie smirked a little. " Wear a bikini, got it." She said obviously joking about that. "I just wanted to make sure I didn't end up over or under dressed and things like that. But I'll dress like I normally do when I'm not at work then." She said softly. "And I do not look good in a moomoo, excuse you. I look like I escaped from some kind of hospital. I learned that the other day. Had to borrow my mom's, it was a nightmare." She sighed.
Daryl raised an eyebrow, "Oh nope... you gotta wear a bikini now. You said you would." He smirked and when she talked about borrowing her mother's moomoo he blinked. "Why... did you have to borrow your mother's moomoo, Soph? Now I gotta see you in THAT so I can prove you wrong." He sighed and smirked.
Sophie shook her head. "Anywhere but the beach and I'd get arrested for public indecency or something." She said and then blinked. "I was helping her paint and ended up staying the night which I'd planned for...bit her dog went and drug his tail through paint and then I walked in with my pajamas on to shoo him out of the room and he splattered paint all over me. So I had to borrow a moomoo. It was practically falling off me and I looked like some kind of sad floral clown." She sighed. "I'm never wearing one again.."
Daryl laughed, "We can go to the beach." He joked but listened to her story before shaking his head and didn't comment what he wanted about things falling off of her. "Well I wouldn't know what looks good on you when it comes to night time, but I feel like you will still look good in it. Oversize moomoo or not." He chuckled.

Sophie shook her head. "My mother said I looked like a little girl. That's not appealing at all." She said and then sighed. "And you saw what's in my closet, you know exactly what I wear at night. Well, some of what I wear at night anyways. " She said with a shrug. "I don't have any moomoos though, so I'm afraid you'll be out of luck with those kinds of things. "I have winter footie pajamas though, those are pretty huge on me too, it nearly the same thing. Almost." She joked.
Daryl chuckled, "I guess that isn't appealing." He sighed before blinking, "I had actually forgotten about that, but thanks for the reminder." He winked at her and gasped. "I have winter footie pajamas too! If this date goes well and then like... all the other dates go well too... you could come here and get in yours and then we three can have hot cocoa and be in our footie pajamas." He smiled at her.
Meanwhile Roshia was home with the twins and had them on the couch. She missed them so much while they were away. Dol having her baby had scared the hell out of her since she had trouble with the twins, but Lor assured her up and down she was okay, but so was fucking Dol and looked where she was. But she couldn't have Rowan go and get them every day till the baby was here. The girls laid their head on her belly and babbled to it.

I wasn't in the right state of mind and I sure in the hell wasn't the kind of man you needed back then. You really do deserve better, Sophie." He said softly.
Roshia smiled and looked up. The girls both looked over at Rowan. She kissed him back, happy that he was home. When he kissed them they both giggled. When he kissed her belly the baby kicked. "The baby says hello." She giggled and shook her head. "I am... okay. I learned today I can still make Daryl scream." She smirked up at him. "That got Sophie to laugh her poor lungs out. I think those two might be on good terms which means my plan has worked." She smirked. "Bo has a little friend named James. Lir has a big crush on an adorable baby girl named Juniper." She said and Arrow huffed. "What about you, babe?" She asked softly.

He said. Gene shrugged and skipped off to her room. "Sorry for keeping you... maybe you can warn Roshia about Gene's plans while you are there." He said softly.

Bo screamed and pushed Roshia away. "Girl... I birthed your ass and I will put you in a play pin and leave you there." She said. Bo gave her an angry face before looking up at Rowan and give him the saddest face.

I can eat anything, this baby is always hungry. I thought the twins were bad. Today I had ice cream with hot sauce... but I didn't eat it with a spoon... I scooped it up with potato chips." She sighed. "I loved every bit of it too." She pouted.
