Setting
"Small... Metal... Has carvings..." Hyde muttered to herself. She had to hurry up before the Junkyard's Attendant came 'round and saw her. He didn't take kindly to people messing up his piles, of which she is a repeat offender of, and she had made the whole place a wreck this time.
Then suddenly, she saw it. It was so small, it was no wonder she hadn't seen it sooner. Really the only reason she did see it was because the sun had started to rise, reflecting light off the shined surface. It had to be it. It was the only thing that fit the description. So she snatched it up and waded her way free of the trash until her feet hit solid ground.
She looked like she had been sleeping in the park. Her clothing was ruined and her hair was tangled with muck, along with gaining a few extra cuts from jagged scrap, but at least she had found the weird little trinket. As soon as she gets back to the city center, someone was going to get a serious bludgeoning with her bat for making her do this. They might get their trinket back, but they weren't going to by able to walk straight.
With that thought in mind, her hopped the fence and started to make her way back, covered in trash and a small, sinister smile on her lips.
