In the midst of an average day in the city, breaking news broke out onto every radio and television screen that had an audience - some sort of virus which has been unofficially named as the Zygr virus. The virus is not yet known to its entire potential and most of it has still to be uncovered. All that is known of the virus is that it is severely contagious and some of the early symptoms include vomiting, fatigue, and bleeding from facial orifices. Doctors and medical researchers are aware that the spread of this virus is severe and they are hard at work trying to uncover the cure and just exactly how this virus came to be.

Humanity now in complete disarray, with more and more people getting infected with the virus, everyone is scrambling to battle through the virus. However, as more and more people get infected, the more the symptoms get severe. From vomiting, fatigue, and bleeding, the symptoms are turning into aggressive vomiting, bleeding from orifices, loss of vision, and eventually complete loss of motor skills. Many are calling it the Zombie Virus.

As these 'zombies' begin to flooding the streets of the busy city, people scramble with even more panic in their minds. People are infecting each other by physical attacks and the population is dramatically minimizing in terms of the healthy. The streets are no longer safe and the healthy are retreating to any safe grounds they can get. Some are attempting to reach the coast with the spreading rumor that there are medical clinics with the cure on the coast. Others are attempting to flee the state thinking that the infection is only local. Others are taking refuge in their homes and other locations throughout the city they have made a bunker out of. As humanities numbers shrink, group of survivors being to grow. People are creating groups in order to defeat the sick. Some are opting out of the groups and attempting to survive on their own. As days go by with the virus only getting worse, people start to stock up on weapons and food. Their old professions are only now mere skills that they can put to use in the world that is left. Survival is the only thing on people's minds now, survival and finding a cure.

Can you survive the outbreak?

Time: Midday
Virus Status: 7 Weeks Active
Current Location: Driving down an empty highway
Personal Status: Healthy/Alone

With road stretched out for miles ahead of him, Declan could only hope for empty roads. He knew that the chances of having roads stretch out for miles without a Zygr'n in sight was something just short of a dream. The fact of the matter was that more often than not, one couldn't turn a corner without seeing at least a small group of them, let alone one of them. Declan had been driving on this stretch of road for a while now, encountering a group of the dead every couple of miles. Rather than driving by them, Declan finds it almost necessary to pull his Jeep over on the side of the road and grab the shotgun out of the back of his car. He'll brazenly walk over to the lot of them and take the shotgun to each of their heads. He makes sure to stand at a distance from them with a simple face mask over his nose and mouth. Dec has no idea how these stupid shits work. He knows as much as much as how to kill them - he learned that you have to get rid of the head otherwise you'll just be dead people food - and that if you get scratched or bit by one, you're essentially screwed.

With his Jeep filled with as many of the the materials he could find ranging from guns and ammo, and any nonperishable foods he could scavenge along the way at any of the houses he found his way into, Declan made his way to the city. Essentially he knew it was a bad idea but he was running out of materials that were really necessary, weapons and gasoline. He needed to get into an ammunition store to see if he could find anything that could help and he needed to find a gas station. Along with the material stuck in the back of his Jeep, was a radio that Declan used to try to radio to anyone who could hear. Declan kept it on often just in case but he usually only just heard static come from the device. Declan clicked it off - he was getting sick of listening to the white noise - not there was anything else to listen to, ever since the outbreak nearly everything electronic stopped working.

Declan rode to the entrance of the city, stopping as he reached the sign that read "Welcome to Chicago." Declan put the car in park and stepped out, walking around his car. He stopped to look at the sign for a quick second, ran his hand through his hair and sighed, blowing air out of his mouth loudly. "Here we go." He walked to the trunk of his car and pulled out an utility built, within the belt was a handgun, a walkie talkie, a few smoke bombs and his knife. He buckled it around his waist and got back into the driver seat of the jeep. He took the car out of park and accelerated towards the inside of the city.

Reaching the inside of the city, Declan parked his car within an alley. He turned the car off and put the keys in his utility belt. He started walking towards the inner parts of the city. He needed to get his materials as quickly as possible and then he needed to get the hell out of dodge. He walked down a street filled with dead bodies, some missing heads, all around the streets. Cars were stopped and open, debris from the looting all over the place. With each step Declan took was a crunching of glass under him, Dec walked carefully to not draw any unwanted attention to himself. Dec drew his glock from his belt and aimed it out in front of him. He needed to be ready for anything that came his way. The man peered out in front of him and noticed a police station ahead of him across the street. He quickly made his way towards the station, hoping that he'd be able to get the weapons he needed from there.

The sun only began shining through the window an hour or two ago, but Milah had been up for nearly three hours already. The young brunette had a hard time sleeping after a sound in the night woke her up, and even though she instantly locked the door on the upstairs bedroom she was in after hearing the sound and never heard another peep, she was still too uneasy to sleep.

"I should probably do a full sweep, both upstairs and downstairs - huh?" she asked in a whisper to the sleeping puppy beside her. Milah could only guess the pup to be two or three months old, and had quickly given him the jokeful name "Cocky" after only a few days since he's constantly cocking his head to the side whenever he's curious about something or just bored.
"Yeah yeah, I'm going."

Milah slowly stood up from the lounge chair she was in and made her way over towards the window. The blinds were already open and there wasn't a person in sight, but she knew first appearances could be deceiving so she didn't stay at the window too long.
The house she was in was a two floor family home with four or five bedrooms, so as she pulled her rifle out of it's case she sighed at the thought of going through every single room, however as she carefully made her way out into the hallway she noticed that every room except the one directly across from her had their doors closed - something a "Walker", as she likes to call the infected, probably couldn't do. And even if they could, they most surely couldn't open the door to get back out.

After checking the room across the hall Milah made her way to the top of the staircase and placed her gun against the wall so she could pull her hair up into a thick high bun.
It was still early in the day but thanks to the lack of central air it was incredibly humid and hot inside the house already, and her jean shorts and loose fitting black tank top only seemed to help a little, but getting her thick hair off of her neck was still a relief - even if just a little.

An always curious and hyper Cocky came trotting out from the bedroom, and Milah quickly told the puppy to sit - which he did. She knew training him would play an important roll in keeping him alive, and he has seemingly taken to it well - which was a relief in situations like this where Milah wanted him to stay put.
"Now you stay here, I'll be back." she'd say in a soft voice as she picked up the rifle, and she'd again repeat "Stay" with an open palm before turning and walking down the flight of stairs.
It took under a minute to clear the open-concept main floor, and after making her way back up the stairs to give a small piece of cracker from her pocket to an obedient Cocky as a treat for staying put, the duo would jog down the stairs and into the kitchen where Milah came upon the same pitiful scene she had found in every other house in this neighborhood - next to nothing left in the cupboards and rotting food products in the fridge.
"Oh joy, a couple of hotdog buns!"
Milah sighed before pulling out the bag of buns, which had thankfully not molded yet. She'd throw one on the floor for Cocky and eat the other one herself before walking over towards the faucet and twisting it on. "Yes!" she let out as a slow stream of water began to flow, enough to fill a medium size tupperware up. Again Milah shared her find with her four-legged companion and as he lapped it up she made her way back upstairs where she'd put her gun back in it's case and then sling both it and her backpack over her shoulder before heading back down to the kitchen.
Milah had spent the last week bouncing between the several houses in the neighborhood and it was now time to move on. She had used up the resources here and knew to keep herself alive she'd need to get access to more food and water.

The car she came to the neighborhood with was now on Empty, but thankfully there was an old Chevy pick-up truck in the garage that had a nearly full tank, so after Cocky finished his water the two made their way to the open garage and then inside the Cab of the truck. Milah made sure both doors were locked and the windows were rolled up before turning on the engine and making her way down the driveway an onto the road.

The ride into the city was uneventful, and Milah found it slightly eery that she only saw a few straggling Walkers along the way.
As she passed the "Welcome to Chicago" sign Milah couldn't help but roll her eyes and sigh, she hated this city even before the virus broke out and now, well now she loathes it. There are too many dark alleys and hiding spots for the dead and not enough pockets of safety for the uninfected - hence the reason the cities were some of the first places that were deserted.
So after she came to a stop outside of a market across the street from a police station Milah made sure the over-the-shoulder bag she turned into a holster bag - which housed her daggers and held a few extra arrows for her gun - was firmly tied against her hip before she grabbed her rifle and hopped out of the truck.
An anxious Cocky wanted to follow her and began to bark, but she quickly gave the hush command and he stopped.

An arrow was ready to go in her rifle as she made her way into the market. Milah would raise the gun and aim it down each isle before feeling comfortable enough to begin filling her bag with various items of food and bottled beverages.

Dr Belle Attie. She didn't really have a field of medicine she preferred. She was into it all. She just worked where needed. She since the disease had been working non stop on finding a cure. Some and most other doctors with their family trying to be home and spend time with their families.

Unlike everyone else she was alone most of her life anyone. Her mother dead. Her father living with another family so that didn't matter. Though she had bought food and journals to write down what happens each time. She found it was a lot of extra work but it was worth it so the future people might read it or need it.

Belle went down the stairs of the hospital and she went into the on-call room. She had been making that into a bedroom sorts and made a bunk bed with a rack of fresh clothing for her. Mainly her lab coat and scrubs. Since she practically lived in wearing those kind of clothes anyway.

She changed into her outfit and put her gun in the back of her pants.

She wanted to save lives. But she needed to save her own because maybe out in the world there were other doctors trying to save people from the virus too but she felt alone in the matter. She felt like she was the only one who cared about her job and about doing the right thing.

She walked down the halls to an office with a microscope and looked into it looking at the mechanism that she had collected of the virus. "This is going to be a long day!"

Searching for food and shelter was a constant shore with the economy broken down due to the outbreak of the virus. People couldn't exactly ship food into the city with zombies prowling the streets of a different type of meat. The markets on the outskirts of town had been emptied first. People naturally fled from the chaos of downtown when people became feral and resources were stuck in the heart of the city, waiting for the taking.

Lukas had first thought about staying in the old police station. He knew the building well enough and most likely there was plenty of weapons lying around there. However, he soon scrapped the idea. It was too big, too exposed. He'd need to live with a group of people if he didn't want a zombie sneaking in in the middle of the night. Instead, he lived in a pub down the street from his old apartment. The windows were sealed shut as much to keep his prescence unnoticed as to keep the walkers out. Thank God they couldn't put two and two together and decide that a bolted up building meant that someone was hiding out there.

Maybe he should have left the city. But where would he go? The suburbs were already picked clean and he didn't know what the situation was like on the road. It was best to keep scavenging in his part of the world. For now. Until he could think of something better.

Today, he was heading for his old supermarket across from the police station, an empty bag swung over his shoulder today. He was running low on food and batteries for his radio. That radio was the key, he thought. There were still people on the radio, exchanging rumors and stories and, praise God, music.

As he walked down the street, he saw that he was not alone today. He saw one person rummaging in the supermarket through the window and another trying to break into the police station. Interesting. He gripped his gun and headed into the the market first. He did not know if it had anything left or not. Besides, he already had all the ammo and police supplies he needed so the police station didn't concern him. Besides, it would take some time for him to get in. More than enough time to get what he needed and find the man again. Still, he made sure to memorize the man's face.

As he stepped into the market, he grinned when he saw that there was still quite a lot of supplies left. He saw the woman rummaging through food and beverages. She was quite pretty, he noted. Still keeping his hand close to his glock incase she turned hostile, he began to rummage through the store himself, grabbing some canned and boxed goods along the way. What wouldn't he give for something fresh...

He stopped at the place they used to stalk the batteries. All gone. He cursed. A mob of fools probably grabbed them instead of the food when the breakout started, thinking that staying connected was more important and that they could find a refuge nearby as long as they kept their radios working.

He sighed and walked towards the woman, "I don't suppose you have some batteries to barter for. I'm Lukas, by the way."

As Milah rummaged through the shelves she'd catch a glimpse of a figure moving past the market window, and in an instant she'd drop what was in her hands and raise her rifle. However it only took a few seconds for her to realize that it wasn't a walker, but even so she was still on guard, especially as the man began to browse as if it was just another day in the market. Milah had made contact with other individual survivors a few times before and it was always more of a panicked or shocked reaction, so she couldn't help but wonder what had this guy so abnormally casual.

After she was satisfied with the contents of her bag Milah began to tie it shut, and as she did so she'd notice the man approaching her out the corner of her eye.

"I don't suppose you have some batteries to barter for. I'm Lukas, by the way."
Milah couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at such a question and after closing her bag and slinging it over her shoulder she'd turn to face the man - attempting her hand at a small brief smile.

"Uh, batteries? Well yeah, I have one set, but I can't really afford to share - sorry."
Milah would quickly walk around the man and out the market door, and as she approached her truck she'd scan the surrounding area for walkers. At first glance the area was empty and Milah got into her vehicle with every intent on pulling off, however within seconds of closing the door her eyes widen at the picture forming at the end of the block in front of her.
"Oh God..." she whispered to herself as she spotted a group of at least twenty or thirty walkers rounding the street corner. She could pull off and get at a dodge, but that would leave the man she just left completely ignorant to the impending threat. The market windows were partially shattered and the door was off it's hinges, so it would provide no real shelter.
Milah was in a pickle, she didn't want to leave her vehicle or call out to him and bring attention to herself but she couldn't just leave another person to die - could she?

After a frustrated moan Milah would quickly push Cocky and her bag out of the way and roll the passenger side window down far enough to stick her rifle out it. She hated to waste an arrow but it was the only way she could insure this guy would look at her. So as soon as she aimed the rifle through an open part of the market window Milah would shoot towards one of the shelves, hoping to get the man's attention. She'd wave frantically for him to come to her, and after waiting for several seconds she'd start up her truck's engine and pull off.

As expected the group of walkers instantly gave chase, but as soon as Milah rounded the corner she made a sharp turn into a covered parking deck directly behind the Police department and quickly shut off her engine. Her fingers unconsciously crossed as she hoped the walkers rounding the corner hadn't spotted her turning into the dimly lit parking deck and would instead continue running straight on the road, and to her massive relief the brainless corpses ran right by as she had hoped.
Milah sighed at the sight, but before she could get too comfortable she'd spot a lone walker running towards her door from deeper inside the parking deck. As soon as it came within range Milah opened her door and knocked it to the ground, giving her enough time to then step out of the vehicle and line her rifle up with it's head before pulling the trigger.

After she pulled the arrow out of the walker's head, wiped it off with a napkin from her pocket, and then loaded it back into the rifle, Milah caught a glimpse of Cocky. The pup had wisely stayed in the vehicle but began growling at the walker on the ground - something she couldn't help but chuckle at before getting back inside the vehicle and locking her door.
"Now what?" she asked aloud as she scanned the immediate area inside the parking deck - not wanting to go back out onto the city streets just yet. She'd quickly spot a door with a flashing EXIT sign above it, and assume it led into the back of the police station and perhaps whatever business was once beside it.

Declan walked quietly but swiftly towards the stairs of the police station. He’d often do a small circle as he walked in order to get a full look of his surroundings. He was a trained marine and had learned how to do a clean sweep of the area around him without getting into too much danger. Of course when he had done this overseas it was always another gunning pointing back at him if he had done it wrong, not a half living piece of shit that wanted brains. He was also rarely alone but now alone was the only thing he knew. As Quinn does his scan of the area before retreating into the building, he notices a tall man creeping his way into the market across the street from where Quinn had just come from. He figured it was weird that this man was just casually walking around as though there was nothing wrong with the world at the moment. He left the man to his creeping and figured he’d let the guy be someone else’s problem.

Quinn started doing some creeping of his own now. As he stepped slowly into the police department – there was an eerie quiet to the air. There wasn’t anyone else in there with him – not that he knew of anyway. The only things that were in the department was him and maybe a few of the dead walking around aimlessly. For this Quinn put his gun back in its holster. He knew that if he shot off that gun at any moment, the dead would began their run towards the sound. They were attracted to it like a moth to a flame and would often come running to chow down on whatever produced the noise. Instead, Quinn retrieved his M9 knife from his belt and held its grip tightly. He had it in his hand combat ready, as he slowly crept forward in the dark police department building.

The floor of the front lobby of the department was scattered with a mess of loose papers, blood, bodies and even materials that Quinn needed. As he stepped over every dead body, he’d pick up a gun and check the magazine for any ammo. If the gun was empty he’d put it back down on the ground. He was only able to pick up two guns that had any ammunition in it at all. However he wasn’t completely empty handed from the looting. He was able to make off with a lot of flashlights. Quinn picked a flash light off the ground and turned it on – it worked fine. Every flashlight he found since, he’d empty out the batteries and stick them in his pockets.

The man continued down the wide hallway with flashlight and knife in hand. He turned to the left to make his way to the back of the station only to immediately encounter a group of 5 zombies walking around. Quinn quickly doubled back the corner of the hallway he had just come from and slammed his body against the wall. His heart rate had sky rocketed and he was struggling to catch his breath. “Shhh.. Breathe… You’ve got this…” Quinn whispered quietly to himself. Quinn took a deep breath before rounding the corner again and taking his knife quickly to the head of the first zombie in front of him. With the thud of the knife to the skull and then the thud of body to the ground, the other four beasts turned their attention to the living man. Quinn figured he could make a run for it but wasn’t sure where exactly to run to. His first instinct was to run into the room directly to his right side. His legs began moving as quickly as they could to get into the room but he wasn’t fast enough, tripping over the body he just put down. When Quinn attempted to close the door, one of the Zygr’ns had made their way into the doorway – Quinn beat the door against the once living police officer until it’s body just snapped in half. The door closed but the thing on the ground just lay there snarling at him. Dec beat the heel of his boots in the skull of the now dead and killed it off for sure.

Outside of the room were 3 more zombies that had witnessed the man kill two of its dead companions and escape into the room. On the inside of the door was Quinn, with little protection and even less backup – he realized he was in an interview room and pushed both the chair and the table up against the door to try to hold off from anything getting inside. Quinn knew he needed an exit plan because right now he was stuck in a small room with only one exit and one entrance. Quinn had to think quickly, he didn’t have many options. Scanning the room from top to bottom suddenly gave Quinn an idea. He mounted the chair on top of the table and climbed on top of it. He moved the tile in the ceiling away from its place and climbed in. Quinn smiled to himself as he moved through the ceiling carefully to get to the tactical storage room. He crawled through the ceiling, occasionally moving other tiles out of their place to get a sense of where he was going. He first dropped through the ceiling in the evidence drop off room – down the hall from where he was just recently looked away in hiding. There he got himself a large duffle bag to put in all the materials he picked up on his way in – two guns and a whole bunch of batteries. He checked the armory storage and only found a few scatter bullets for the guns he picked up and a few worn down bullet proof vests. He put one on and put one in the bag. He slung it over his shoulder and rounded the corner to check the weapons storage. Most people didn’t know where to go in the police station to find all that they needed. When he went around the corner he was greeted by another walker. He took his knife out quickly, he kicked the dead against the metal gate that protected the bunch of weapons held in the station and stuck the knife through its eye. He took his knife from the things head, wiping it away on his pants and sticking it back in his belt. Quinn kicked the lock of the gate a few times before it sprung open.

Quinn quickly made his way inside, grabbing whatever he could. He started with the heavier artillery – grabbing a few rifles (AR 15, An AK-47 and an M16 with Scope), putting those around his chest with each other their shoulder strap. He dumped boxes of ammo for each in the duffle and kept looking; he got some ammos for the two guns he had picked out in the lobby, a .45 caliber Colt Defender and a .45 caliber Remington. Quinn grabbed a couple of silencers, leg, ankle, shoulder and belt holsters for the hand guns and knives he has. He grabbed the last of the supplies he needed, including some homemade bombs he found in the lock up and a few more lights and radios. Quinn zipped the bag and pushed it over his shoulder.

Rather than walking out of the front like he had wanted to do to get to his car faster, Quinn cut through the bathroom that connected to a training room that had a door on the opposite side that led to the outside. He ran down the stairs of the outside patio that led to a parking deck. He bust through a door in the parking deck that would essentially lead to his security and victory in his scavenge – if only there weren’t a car with someone very clearly sitting in it blocking his clean getaway. “Shit.”

"Uh, batteries? Well yeah, I have one set, but I can't really afford to share - sorry."

Lukas nodded, even as the woman quickly walked away. He could not help but feel a little sad to see her go. He had had hardly any pleasant human companionship since the plague first began. Not that he could blame her. No. The survivors of this curse could be worse than the Walkers. With a sigh, he continued to fill up his bag, only to look up as an arrow pierced a shelf inches away from him. Quickly, he pulled out his pistol, only to see her wild gesturing and, more importantly, the horde of Walkers making their way over to her. Realization dawned over him. It was a warning shot and now, because she had noticed them where he had not, she was in danger. He cursed at himself and ran over to her, quickly climbing into the backseat of her vehicle.

"Thank you," he said quietly. He nodded approvingly as she drove into the parking deck and the Walkers chasing after them continued to dumbly run in a straight line past them.

"Now what?"

"I used to work here. The police station should be secure as long as..."

"Shit."

A man had run into the garage, panic shining in his eyes. Lukas groaned.

"As long as the Walkers aren't already inside."

He sighed before making a reluctant suggestion, "O'Malley's Pub is not far from here. It's in walking distance, in fact. I've been... squatting there for awhile. I've secured it as best as I can and it has plenty of supplies... I owe you a safe place to stay at least."

He gazed at the other man for a moment before nodding, "Him too, I suppose. I like the AK."

"I used to work here. The police station should be secure as long as..."

The man sitting beside her, whose name she vaguely remembered as Lukas, suddenly stopped talking as he caught a glimpse of something behind the truck. When Milah turned around she'd spot a man who while distressed was clearly not a walker.
"As long as the Walkers aren't already inside."

"Well he's definitely not a walker.." Milah muttered as she studied the man behind her truck. He had worry written all over his face so it was likely Walkers were in the police station, but her attention switched back to Lukas when he once again spoke up.
"O'Malley's Pub is not far from here. It's in walking distance, in fact. I've been... squatting there for awhile. I've secured it as best as I can and it has plenty of supplies... I owe you a safe place to stay at least."

Milah stared at the man sitting across the cab from her, her facial expression a mixture of apprehension and shock. She wasn't quite use to generosity, even if it was simply someone trying to pay her back, so the idea of being offered shelter left her a bit speechless.
"Him too, I suppose. I like the AK."
Lukas' statement caused Milah to again stare at the man behind them, this time spotting the heavy load he was carrying.
"Sounds like a plan i guess."

After a few seconds of silence Milah put the truck in reverse and backed up into a parking spot only a few feet away from the man who had run out of the police station. Once the truck was parked Milah pulled a leash out of her bag and tied it around Cocky's neck before slinging her bag/gun-case over her shoulder and getting out of the vehicle. As she walked around the bed of the truck she'd shove the truck keys in her pocket and call out to the guy mere feet away.

"Have you been bit?" she'd ask while examining him closely. She didn't spot any open wounds and would wind up answering her question before he could. "Guess not. Well, we're going to O'Malley's up the block, the guy with me claims to have supplies there....says you can come with if you want. We're going to walk though, since it's quieter that way, but I'll have the keys on me if we need it later."

A curious Cocky would begin sniffing around the mans feet as Milah waited for the guy to make up his mind.
It was somewhat surreal to be conversing with two other people so calmly after growing accustomed to being on her own, but even though she'd never admit it the conversation was a welcomed change.

Running out through the door into the parking deck, Quinn quickly stopped short. “Shit.” He sees the pick up ahead of him and stops dead in his tracks. He can see two people sitting in the cabin of the truck and he freezes. He knows he has to be on guard at all times when he encounters other survivors – most other survivors were just that – survivors. They would steal, fight, they’d kill if they had to in order to survive. He slowly reached back into his bag that rest around his shoulder and pulled out one of the glocks he had collected from the department. He didn’t know whether he should try to attack or to merely stand his ground. He pulled the gun in front of him, turned off the safety and cocked the gun. He kept the gun pointed to the ground waiting for something to happen.

As soon as the truck started moving in reverse, Quinn pointed the gun up at the truck as he waited to see what the driver would do next. Seconds later a girl popped out of the trucks cabin. She walked alongside the truck bed, carefully scoping out the situation in front of her. Quinn stood his ground, he knew there was someone else in the truck cabin and knew that two against one wasn’t the best of odds – especially when there are thousands of dead just waiting to pick people off. “Have you been bit?” The woman shouted out to him. It took a few seconds to register what was happening and before he was able to answer, the girl kept speaking. "Guess not. Well, we're going to O'Malley's up the block, the guy with me claims to have supplies there....says you can come with if you want. We're going to walk though, since it's quieter that way, but I'll have the keys on me if we need it later."

Quinn thought about his options. He could go with them and have shelter, maybe even food, for the night or a couple of days or he could stay by himself. He knows the regardless of what he decides he’s going to end up on his own again. Secondly he has a list of duties that he needs to complete; syphon gas, collect materials, survive. He knows that with others his chances of survival are slightly better but then he’ll have to watch his back at all times to make sure that his life and his things are always safe. “I travel on my own.” Quinn put the safety on his gun and it put it in its holster. He stepped away from the dog that sniffed at his feet and he walked out of the parking garage, making his way back to his car to unload his new supplies. He needed to grab a tube of some sort to start syphoning gas into his gallons to refill his car. A full city of empty cars would certainly be of some help. As he walked he kept going over everything that just happened in the parking garage. It boggled his mind that it all happened – every other encounter with survivors he had were much more aggressive.

Lukas watched the guy walk away. In a way, he understood why the guy would decline their off, but that didn't mean it didn't piss him off a little bit. He shook his head and turned to his new traveling companion. He smiled sligthtly as he noticed the dog. In all the excitement, he had barely noticed him. He was glad of his prescence. It told him something about the girl. She still retained some altruism, which was confirmed when she had warned him about the Walkers. It was pity the guy didn't see it. He shrugged and leaned back. Going after him was liable to trigger a fight or flight response and he didn't feel like getting into a firefight.

"Just take the street towards a left and then go south on Pioneer Boulevard. O'Malley's is on the right," he told her before grinning slightly at her, "I'll cook dinner tonight if you tell me your name."

As a sad statement on the times Milah didn't flinch or show any hesitation when the man pulled out his gun, this wasn't the first time a scared survivor had pulled a weapon out on her and it was likely not the last time.

"I travel on my own" was all the man would say before holstering his gun and walking out of the parking garage.
Milah sighed and shrugged her shoulders before looking back at Lukas. "I guess he likes traveling on his own?" she muttered sarcastically before picking up Cocky and petting his head. "Too bad he's going right." she added, remembering that was the direction the hoard of walkers ran. She wanted to call out to him but she didn't want to bring unwanted attention to any of them, and before she knew it he was out of her line of sight.

"Just take the street towards a left and then go south on Pioneer Boulevard. O'Malley's is on the right"
Milah would nod her head at Lukas and wave for him to follow her on foot. She wasn't risking starting the engine back up now when the pub was only a short walk away.
Before she could walk too far ahead she'd hear him speak up again. "I'll cook dinner tonight if you tell me your name"
The comment caused Milah to stop in her tracks and turn around. "Cook? I doubt you have power, therefore you can't really cook...so I guess I won't tell you my name."
The brunette smirked as she turned back around and walked towards the parking garage exit. Before she stepped out on the sidewalk she'd put Cocky back on the ground, wrap the leash around her forearm, and lift her gun up with both hands. She'd point her rifle in both directions a few times before slinging it back over her shoulder and letting the leash slide down into her palm.
"Come on"

Milah waited until Lukas was within a few yards of her before stepping out onto the sidewalk and heading left towards the Pub.
The walk back was largely uneventful, Milah only spotted one walker lingering about and easily took it out before coming up to the front entrance of O'Malley's. She placed her hand on the door handle but then quickly took it off, an instead waited on Lukas to open the door himself. It wasn't much of a home but it was his home at the moment and she thought it a bit rude to just go barging in on her own accord.

Lukas shrugged a little as he followed Milah down the street. It was probably smart to keep the engine off considering the ever-present danger of the walkers. He raised an eyebrow at her reply, saying nothing as she led the way to his lair. He was glad to see that it was relatively undisturbed, the steel planks still boled in place across the windows. He smiled slightly as he reached for a set of keys in his pocket and unlocked the door, bowing slightly as he opened the door for the brunette.

"After you, milady," he told her with a grin. He would wait a moment for her to step in before going in himself. The pub had changed a lot since the outbreak had begun. The old antique stove had seen some use along with some bunsen burners he had pitched from a community college. The bar was still littered with liquor bottles, some of them opened, and his sleeping bag was placed in the middle of the room along with packets of ammo and a few books. He stepped in and began light a few candles moved against the walls. He crossed himself unconsciously as he passed a crucifix.

"My palace, such as it is. Who needs power?"

Quinn proceeded to walk down the street on his own. He’d follow the road back the way he came from. Stepping quickly into the market once he saw a few supplies hanging off the shelves. He picked up a funnel that lay in the midst of broken glass, fallen shelves, and store bought debris. He searched around the still standing shelves for any type of rubber tubing that he could use to syphon gasoline with in order to fuel his car. He was running empty but could still had enough to get through the city and out – Quinn had just figured it was better safe than sorry when it came to traveling. He would have much rathered be in a car that could make a quick getaway then on his two feet that could easily slow him down enough to be attacked.

Gathering the little materials he could find, including the funnel, a few cans of soup, a small box of nails, and a small matchbook, Quinn started his way back over to his car. Without stepping more than ten feet out of the market, Quinn could hear a stampede of groaning monsters cornering the street. When he saw them herding around the corner, Quinn cursed quietly under his breath and booked it in the opposite direction. He removed his baton from the bag that beat down on his hips with every step and whipped it downward to extend it. He swung the baton towards every walking dead head that was caught in his way as he ran.

Beating heads as he runs, escaping several times within inches of being grabbed Quinn sneaks away into an alleyway about a block and a half down from where he was originally. He knew he had to get to his car as soon as he could but right now his best option was to hide out otherwise he’d be dead meat. Literally.

Quinn had narrowly escaped by pulling open a door in one of the alleyways he found himself in. He shut the door quickly behind him – he knew that these dead pieces of shit couldn’t open doors so he’d be alright in there as long as there weren’t visitors already in there. Quinn sighed a huge sigh of relief once he had the door closed behind him. He pulled a flashlight from his new bag of materials and clicked it on. He took a gun from its holster and added a silencer to it, which he got from the police department. If he was going to protect himself, he wanted to do it quietly. As the man started his search through the new place he found himself in, he noticed it to be a restaurant of some sort. He made his way through the back and led himself to the front of the building. So far he was the only one in there. As he walked through a set of doors, he realized he had been in the kitchen of a pub. He looked out ahead of him – two people turned their attention to him once his light caught their attentions. “Fuck." Quinn uttered. He looked at the two and dropped his gun from the targets. "Well, I guess we’re roommates now.” Quinn muttered almost angrily. He didn’t want to get stuck with some lady and her dipshit sidekick. He wanted to survive and he wasn’t sure these two were the way to do it.

After Lukas opened the door Milah would step inside, put Cocky down, and let the pup off his leash.
The pub was turned into a studio apartment of sorts, and as the room slowly began to light up Milah would turn around in time to notice Lukas lighting some candles.
"My palace, such as it is. Who needs power?"
"Yeah, a palace, sure.." she said sarcastically before leaping up and over the bar.
There were still unopened bottles on the shelves behind the bar and after scanning them for a moment she'd grab a small unopened bottle of Hennessy and then take a seat on a stool in the corner across from where Lukas stood.
As Milah sipped on her Hennessy she'd watch Cocky sniff the sleeping bag in the middle of the room before flouncing down on it. She wasn't the best with conversation, but after a while the silence became more awkward than comforting.

"Um so, how long have you been staying in this place?" she'd ask, but before Lukas could answer a banging sound came from the bar's kitchen - causing Milah to shoot to her feet.
"I'm guessing you don't have a friend hiding back there, do you?"
As Milah raised her gun an anxious Cocky would begin barking as she slowly stepped towards the swinging doors leading to the Kitchen. Before she was in reach to kick them open she'd noticed a figure approaching via a shadow forming at the bottom of the door. Milah would tell Cocky to stay before taking a few more steps forward, she was mere seconds away from kicking the door open when she spotted a circular light shining through the fogged-over glass in the middle of the doors.
"Wait, that's a...flashlight?" Milah whispered, as she lower her gun slightly - relatively convinced it wasn't a walker.

Sure enough when the door opened there stood the same man who had just left them in the parking garage - determined to be on his own.
"You?" Milah questioned, as she slung her rifle over her shoulder.
"Fuck!" that man spat, before dropping his own gun. It was obvious to Milah from the mans reaction that he hadn't planned on coming here, and wasn't exactly keen on the idea of staying. She'd ignore his attitude however and wait for him to step into the room some more before moving past him - wanting to double check the back entrance. Before she got too far away though she'd hear him speak up again.
"Well I guess we're roommates now."
The irritated tone he took with them irked her, she was never a fan of complainers but she couldn't stand them even more now, so without thinking Milah would backtrack towards the man until she was only a foot or so away from him.

"Look, you're not the only one in a shitty predicament. This isn't just happening to you, you're no special snowflake, we're ALL stuck in a hell hole of a city that's overrun with the walking dead. So do us all a favor, drop the attitude, be happy you're not dead, and appreciate the fact you have a place to stay, Okay? Okay - great! Now excuse me while I go and check the exit - try not to whine or cry too much in the meantime, we're fresh out of tissues."

Weeks of frustration poured out of Milah's mouth in under thirty seconds, and as she rounded the corner into the kitchen a huge smile formed on her face. She couldn't beleive she just went off like that, but it sure did feel good to knock someone off their undeserved high horse.

It only took a few minutes to sweep the Kitchen and verify that the back entrance was once again secure, and after doing so Milah would call Cocky back into the kitchen away from the others, pull a bottle of water out from her bag, and begin to give some of it to the excited pup.

"Yeah, a palace, sure.."
The woman said, taking a seat on an empty bar stool and grabbing herself a drink. Lukas chuckled and took a seat beside her, grabbing an bottle of Guiness from earlier this morning. He lifted it up as though he was toasting before taking a sip. He grinned.

"It is a place to sleep and hide," he told her with a shrug. They sat in silence. Perhaps he should have cleaned up a little, he thought. When he woke up this morning, he didn't think he'd have any visitors. To tell the truth, he had given up hope on any positive human interaction weeks ago and with that belief, he had slowly allowed his hideout to become a mess. There really was no motivation to clean up if you didn't care about the mess and didn't expect anyone to visit.

"Um so, how long have you been staying in this place?"

Before he could open his mouth to reply, however, they both jumped at the noise emanating from the kitchens.

"I'm guessing you don't have a friend hiding back there, do you?"

"Certainly not," he said dryly, unholstering his pistol and switching off the safety. They both approached the kitchens cautiously, Lukas ready to shoot should a Walker lunge at them as he was half-expecting. Instead, they were met with the sight of the man from the police station. Lukas frowned at the man inviting himself into his home, as though his invitation was an open one. With some satisfaction, he allowed his new roommate to take out her frustration on the man.

"You could have knocked..." Lukas began, eying the man from top to bottom before smiling slightly as he noticed the way the man held himself, "The military should have taught you better manners."

He inspected the rest of the back and, satisfied that everything was bolted shut, turned his attention back to the man, "I'm Lukas Caedon by the way. I'd trade a case of Guinness for that AK, by the way."

Now excuse me while I go and check the exit - try not to whine or cry too much in the meantime, we're fresh out of tissues."

A blow up of emotion spit into Quinn’s face. He watched quietly as the woman in front of him let go of every ounce of emotion she had left in her. He moved away from the woman when she excused herself to check the back exit. Quinn was a little surprised to say the least. He had expected anything like that to happen – much less than he expect to be spoken to like that by a complete stranger. Of course situations were shitty right now – and that was true for everyone – but Quinn hadn’t thought that he was complaining more than was acceptable given the fact that they were surviving the world that they lived in now.

Declan looked at the man who spoke to him. He rolled his eyes slightly and walked off in the opposite direction of the man. He set himself up in a corner underneath the bar, resting his guns and his bags against the wall. Declan Quinn walked around the bar, searching for something strong to drink to take off the edge. The man who had already annoyed Quinn without trying hard made a comment about the military and that caught Quinn’s attention. His eyes shot away from the bar, hitting the man’s eyes that stared back at him. “What’d you say about the military? Who the hell are you? What the hell gives you the right to think you know anything about me?”

Quinn was pissed off. He refused to allow his name to be left in anyone’s mouth, lingering like a bitter taste. He walked around the bar and B-lined for the man. With a bottle of whiskey clutched in his hand, Quinn extended his index finger and poked it roughly into the man’s chest. He glared into the man’s eyes – his own eyes burned with anger and hatred. “I don’t know who the fuck you are but you better back the hell up and mind your fucking life. You don’t know me. You don’t know shit.” Quinn turned his attention away from the man and walked back to his corner. He hated having to stay here with this fucking dumb ass who thinks he’s a know it all and little miss princess in the back but he knew that right now he didn’t have any other option until the dead on the outside dispersed a little more so that he could escape. He sighed, shaking his head, and took a big slug of whiskey straight from the bottle in his hand.

Lukas raised an eyebrow but wisely decided to say nothing. It wasn't worth getting in a shoutting match with his new house guest. He didn't want to test the hearing abilities of the Walkers after all. Still, that did not mean that he wasn't pissed. The man had responded with his friendly welcome with shouting and venom. Had he not had better control over himself, Lukas would have kicked the man's ass. He sighed and decided to head over to where the woman was taking care of her puppy.

"A lot of bottled up anger in that one," he noted with a shrug. Silently, he had his hand hover over his gun, a subtle sign that he didn't trust the man not to blow their brains out in their sleep. He smiled and the puppy and offered it the back of his hand. It was the correct way to introduce yourself to a dog. If it sniffed your hand and wagged its tail or otherwise greeted you in af friendly manner, you were fine. If it backed away or growled at you, it meant the dog was getting ready to defend itself.

"I still haven't caught your name," he noted.

After giving Cocky some water Milah wandered about the Kitchen for a few moments before making her way back into the main area of the pub, just in time to catch the tail end of Declan's outburst.
“-but you better back the hell up and mind your fucking life. You don’t know me. You don’t know shit.”
Milah rolled her eyes as she made her way to the other side of the room, sat down on an old chair, and then mockingly threw her hands up in the air - feigning fear. "Oooo, he is man, hear him roar!" she'd say aloud, before leaning back in the chair and staring outside via a small crack inbetween two of the boards on the window.

"A lot of bottled up anger in that one" Lukas said as he made his way over towards her and then bent down to greet her pup.
"I still haven't caught your name"
Milah would shift in her seat slightly to face Lukas before responding.
"That's because I haven't given it to you yet, nice try though. His name is Cocky however, and he seems to like you."

Milah looked down at the pup and smiled as he sat on Lukas foot.

---

It was getting dark out, and the longer Milah sat there the more she got hungry, and she'd eventually sit up from her chair and look towards Lukas.
"Hey, weren't you suppose to cook dinner tonight? We're waiting. Maybe if you feed the Raging Bull over there you'll lighten him up...by like .1%."
She tried to put a lighthearted tone to her comment, hoping that she didn't sound like she was being too serious. Milah wasn't the best at being social with others, and this was the first time in a while that she had tried making nice with someone for more than five minutes or so.

"That's a good guy," Lukas stated with a grin as the puppy sat on his foot. Cocky. It suited him, he thought. It also gave a clue into his new roommate's personality. You'd be amazed by what a name could tell you about the person who assigned it. This name came from a place of amusement. Whether it was deadpan or light-hearted, you'd have to talk to the woman but from what he'd seen of her, her sense of humor was most likely the blunt, deadpan kind, perhaps with some sarcasm mixed in. The former detective almost smiled. It had been a long time since he tried to guess the personality of another person.

"Hey, weren't you suppose to cook dinner tonight? We're waiting. Maybe if you feed the Raging Bull over there you'll lighten him up...by like .1%."

Lukas laughed and made his way towards the old stove out front. It was an old thing blackened from use decades ago, but it still worked and only required a little wood, something he had in abundance in the form of chairs and tables the pub wouldn't need anymore. Soon enough, he had a pot of soup boiling on the single burner and a few cans of canned fruit open for desert. If the woman followed him up front, he spoke.

"I hope you don't mind soup. I haven't had anything fresh in.... I don't know how long."

Declan sat angrily in his corner. He wasn't really in the mood to be friendly with anyone at the moment. He could hear in the back of his mind the voice of his passed wife, "Dec, you have to be nice. Not everyone knows your backstory, more so not everyone cares. Is it really so hard for you to just try to get along?" Those were the exact words of his wife when he had gotten into an argument with a coworker over something so trivial. It brought a short lived smile to his face. He had freaked out too much in his own opinion and it was too late to beg for apologies so he figured he'd just start playing nice from now own.

He looked up at this two new roommates - Lukas was playing with the dog, almost as if it were a human and he was making yet another friend easily. He looked up to hear the girls snarky remarks. He bit his tongue to keep from snapping at anyone else again. He was as good as dead if it weren't for these two at the moment so he knew he had to keep his mouth shut. "Hey, weren't you supposed to cook dinner tonight? We're waiting. Maybe if you feed the Raging Bull over there you'll lighten him up...by like .1%" Declan watched as the two interacted lightly, and Lukas had himself a laugh. Quinn stood up from his corner on the floor and sarcastically laughed. "Ha. Ha. Very funny." Quinn joked as he dusted himself off. He looked at Lukas once the man offered soup. "Soup is fine by me. Thanks." He cringed at the thought of having to be nice to the kid. It simply wasn't in Declan's nature - not after so many years spent as a Marine. Right now wasn't about being a marine though, right now was about gritting his teeth and surviving. He sat on top of the bar by the woman as Lukas went to the back room to get soup. "Quinn. My name is Declan Quinn." He put his hand out for a handshake not really knowing what to expect.

After the mention of making Dinner Lukas laughed, and their new guest managed to make a sarcastic remark without biting anyone's head of - causing Milah to smirk.

Curious to see what Lukas was making she'd stand up from her chair by the window and follow him back into the Kitchen. There she'd spot an old stove that apparently ran off wood, something the pub had a plentiful supply of.
"Nice. Not quite a microwave or pizza oven, but nice for the times."

"I hope you don't mind soup. I haven't had anything fresh in.... I don't know how long"
"I think it would be stupid of me to be picky about food nowadays, so soup sounds a-okay to me."

After spending a few moments looking at the cans of soup Lukas had beside him Milah would make her way back out to the main area and sit atop the bar in the direction that allowed her to look out towards the rest of the room. Much to her surprise the man she had pinned as a "raging bull" moments ago walked over towards the bar and pushed himself up on top of it, sitting beside her.

"Quinn. My name is Declan Quinn." was all he'd say before holding out his hand.
Milah's eyes widened in shock for a second before she relaxed her expression and grabbed his hand. Her grip was incredibly firm, much more so than most expected, and after shaking his hand she'd hold onto it for a few seconds longer.
"Well Declan, my name is Milah, it's nice to meet you."
There was a slight smirk on her face but her tone was genuine, and after letting go of his hand she'd turn slightly to face him.

"It's hard for you to talk to people isn't it?" she'd ask in a whisper that was low enough to where only Declan could hear her. "You don't have to answer that, but I understand more than you think."

Milah would lean over towards the end of the bar to holler into the Kitchen at Lukas for an ETA on the soup, but before she could say anything the sound of a pistol going off outside caught her attention.
Within seconds Milah was off the counter-top and at the window, where she'd peer out one of the small holes in-between the wood covering the glass. She quickly spotted a group of girls, two were clearly under the age of 12 while the other appeared to be in her mid to late teens. One of the younger girls fell and the older girl again shot towards what Milah could only assume was a walker.
Sure enough a small trio of walks came running towards the girl on the ground, and Milah grabbed her gun beside the nearby chair. She couldn't just sit there and watch three young girls be attacked, especially when they could easily down the three walkers, however Milah would freeze in her tracks when she heard the sound of more approaching.
"Do you hear that?" she'd ask in a whisper, mere seconds before dozens of walkers came running towards the girls. The one who had fallen was the first to be attacked - slowly but surely ripped apart while alive. The other two girls tried to escape but were quickly overtaken, and as the walkers jumped on them Milah would turn away from the window and sink to the ground.

Reality had just reared it's ugly head, and as the sounds of the walkers going into a frenzy over the girl's bodies seemingly got louder Milah would sink further beneath the window and sigh, as she held her finger firmly to her lip - signaling Cocky to remain quiet. Spotting the candles near the window however caused Milah to stand up from the floor. It was pretty unlikely the walkers would spot them through the wood but she still felt the need to blow the ones closest to the window out, and then move both herself and her pup to the other side of the room.

"We really shouldn't stay in the city for much longer." she'd whisper aloud, to no one in particular.

"Milah, that is a pretty name," Lukas announced with a grin as he walked in with a tray containing three bowls of soup, spoons, napkins, and, of course, a few bottles of liquor to complete the meal. He was quite happy that the man, Declan, had found a way to get the stick out of his ass. Perhaps they could wait out the whole situation in peace now.

His mood changed, however, as he heard gunshots and the tell-tale sounds of the Walkers hunting prey. He gripped his gun, but the Walkers had already caught up to them. He forced himself to watch. The children deserved that much.

"May you be as free as the wind

As soft as sheeps wool

As straight as an arrow

That you may journey into the heart of God."

It was short and to the point. Lukas never saw the point in dragging things out and this half-remembered prayer was the best he could give the two children.

"We really shouldn't stay in the city for much longer," Milah whispered. He nodded thoughtfully.

"We need a destination. I have a radio if you have the batteries from earlier. There are survivors talking about a safe haven."

"It's hard for you to talk to people isn't it? You don't have to answer that, but I understand more than you think." Declan looked at her without saying a word. He didn’t really have to at the point. There wasn’t more to clarify. The woman understood Declan – at least on the surface.

The sound of the girls outside on the street being attacked resonated in Declan’s head. It slightly reminded him of the moment with his wife. It drew him into a daze as he thought back to the incidents he’s already witnessed in his life. The shrill shrieks coming from outside drowned out the real world for a quick minute. Milah’s voice brought Declan back to the reality that lay in front of him. They needed to get out of the city and book it to the country side. Less people means less zombies, right? Lukas spoke of refuge and Declan drew his attention back to the pair. “I have a car.” He quickly stated. “I have weapons, food, and a radio. I only have a quarter tank left but I’m sure it can get us out of the city then we can just syphon gas.”

The only thing the trio could do at this time was run out the back and book it to his car. He could get all three of them to the edge of the city then they could possibly separate. Did he have to stay with the guys longer than necessary? He wasn’t sure but he knew that right now they needed to get their asses out of the city otherwise they’d end up like the poor group of girls outside.

Milah listened as Lukas said a prayer for the girls. It caught her a bit off guard because he didn't really seem the type, and it had been such a long time since she heard someone pray for others.
"How could a God that's supposed to be loving bring this kind of misery down on us?" she'd think to herself, ever the agnostic. Lukas speaking up however would bring her back into reality.
"We need a destination. I have a radio if you have the batteries from earlier. There are survivors talking about a safe haven."
Before she should respond Declan spoke up, and totally shocked her.
"I have a car. I have weapons, food, and a radio. I only have a quarter tank left but I’m sure it can get us out of the city then we can just siphon gas"
"Wow, is that an offer? Nice." she muttered sarcastically, flashing a small smile as a signal that her sarcasm was meant to be light-hearted.

Milah would stand up from the floor and make her way into the kitchen, where she'd check on the soup.
"I think it's done." she'd say as she walked back towards the front. "Maybe we can eat first then head to Skokie IL, it's about an hour north of here. After that we might wanna head North to Canada. Call me silly for referencing movies but in films the cold seems to slow them down."
A year or so ago it would have seemed completely asinine to reference a Hollywood film as fact, but after the planet slowly but surely turned into a real life horror-show, it seemed a lot more reasonable.

The dejected brunette would linger around the front for a several more seconds before making her way back to the kitchen and pulling out the soup. It was hot enough for her liking, so after finding an old bowl Milah would pour herself a reasonable amount of soup and then take a seat at the bar.
After a few sips from the bowl she'd look down at Cocky and throw him a few chunks of potato.
"The truck I was driving had a decent amount of gas in it. Maybe we could pick up both vehicles?" Milah would say aloud to no one in particular.

"Canada... Can't say I've been there, but there is some sense in going there. The cold isn't the only thing it's got going for it. It is... was a lot less populous than the United States, particularly in the northwest."

He caught the look on Milah's face when he prayed. If he remembered right, he wasn't supposed to be paying attention to his surroundings when he prayed, but old habits died hard and survival tactics drilled in to you for over a decade died harder, he supposed. Did he believe in God? He suppose he did. There had to be some Good to offset all the evil he had seen. Some point to measure justice from. Justice couldn't be just an idea people made up. Still, he knew why it was hard to have faith in a loving God. It was hard to have faith in the pit this world had become or always had been if he was being honest with himself.

"Killer... That's what we should have named you. Killed your brother the moment you came into the world and then you killed your mother too."

Lukas shook his head. Now wasn't the time to dwell on bad memories. He ate in silence, looking up only when Milah spoke again.

"Well, I don't have a car. Never needed one or could afford one. There should be plenty of vehicles to siphon gas from in town to fill both of your vehicles."

Re: Viral Outbreak

Hey everyone! Working on a post now.

I know I haven't been consistent in my posting and I want to apologize for that. I'm moving away from my parents house this upcoming Monday and so I've been trying to get everything in order for that plus I'm working 60+ hour weeks and it's all been very time consuming. How knew being an adult would mean all this work, huh? Anyway, I should have something in by tonight.

Re: Viral Outbreak

Same here, Chandz. :)

Re: Viral Outbreak

Yikes sorry about all that trouble. Glad you could get a post in though. I'll try to post tonight - if not, most definitely tomorrow since it's my day off.

Re: Viral Outbreak

Hey hey.

So TWC got our net and cable back on later than expected on Monday so by the time it cut back on I didn't do much posting, so I'm a couple days behind on posting for this RP, but I'll have something up tomorrow <3

PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCE: Don't ever ever get Time Warner unless there's no faster net in the area and AT&T U-verse, Google Fiber, or some other digital TV provider, isn't in your area!!! lol
I use to think the hate towards that company was over-blown, but it's not. Their service people who come out to your house are sweethearts(at least here they are) but the company itself, the price, and the service to customers, sucks monkey balls.

Re: Viral Outbreak

I too have been rather busy. I hope to post tomorrow.

Re: Viral Outbreak

Kk...np hun.

Hey RP Buddies. Im copying and pasting this on all my current RPs via my phone.....
TWC is horrid trash and our cable/net has been out since Friday morning and they said they won't be out to fix it until Monday Afternoon. So I only have my phone to entertain myself with.....and I'm missing all of Tomorrowland 2015's live stream. *cry*
However I've caught myself up on my RPs via my phone and I have responses typed out on my lappy. So once my net is back on I'll be posting for all those RPs immediately. <3

(Didnt write for this one yet because I thought it was dead. But I will)

Re: Viral Outbreak

Guys, it's been a rough week. My parents are out of the country and I've been working more hours and babysitting my younger siblings so it's just taken a lot of my attention. I'm very sorry for disappearing. I had no intention to but I did post and will check more often. I'm so sorry. I hope you guys are still around.

Re: Viral Outbreak

Well, I've gotten no response yet and my message is still sitting in my Outbox, meaning he hasn't even opened it up.

-sigh-

Me and you have some crappy luck don't we? This is the 2nd RP we've been in together recently where a cast of characters widdles down to me, you, and the GM, and then the GM vanishes after posting for a bit. lol
At least this one lasted a little longer than We Are Rising, eh?? >_<

Re: Viral Outbreak

Soooo, i'm gonna message our GM and see if he's still alive! xD

Re: Viral Outbreak

Still here sorry for the delay. I'll post tonight.

Re: Viral Outbreak

Nice. I will try to post tonight here. :)

Re: Viral Outbreak

Thanks for the happy B-day wishes!!! :D I'll have my post up by tonight! *happy dance*

Re: Viral Outbreak

Happy Birthday to momma and Happy Birthday to you!!! I posted guys, sorry it's so short I had a few minutes before I had to head out to work so I figured I'd try to get a least something in. Thanks for sticking around.

Re: Viral Outbreak

Same here, Lonesome. Except for the birthday part. :P

I will try to post tomorrow or Tuesday. :)

Re: Viral Outbreak

Troublemakers are cool, you know - the folks who accidentally cause walkers to storm the place, blow through too much food, and so on......the roid rage is a bit much tho. lol xD

It's np about you being busy btw, it's totally understandable!
I'll probably won't be on as much over the next couple of days.....today is my Mums birthday and then Monday is my birthday....w00t w00t! lol

Re: Viral Outbreak

Hey guys sorry for my absence. I've been working quite a ton. Anyway, I should have a post up sometime soon.

About Declan - I usually have my characters be somewhat lovable but I just felt like that was too generic so I figured why not make a character that is always causing some sort of trouble? It keeps tensions high and the story moving.

Re: Viral Outbreak

Mmkay I posted you guys! <3
I say* that once we move on to the next day we should make something totally cray cray go down that forces us to move :O :O
And maybe forces Mr. Sunshine to take a semi-nice pill? xD

*Damn typos....

Re: Viral Outbreak

Yeahhhh, Declan is like a bottle of sunshine tied up with a sweet pink bow!!
Mwuhahahahahaha
#JustKidding

Seriously tho lol, I'll have a post up later tonight or tomorrow. Probably tomorrow though =P

(On another note, IT'S MUH BURFDAY NEXT MONDAYYYY, WUUUUUT! xD)

Re: Viral Outbreak

Well, Lukas is going to be annoyed with Declan... xD
