Dislikes:

Mother forcing him to go to school, Mother telling him pirates aren't good people, Mother angry, Mother scolding him for wanting to be a pirate, Mother deciding his future as a scholar, Mother making him study, Mother with other people, Mother taking away his weapons, Mother telling his pet monkey to be quiet, people underestimating his fighting ability when he gets into fights, school, and the school uniform.

Habbits:

Playing pirates with friends, sharpening his swords, having battles against bullies of school while pretending they were marines or enemy pirates, recruiting people into his crew of five, stole money, counting stolen money and designing new boats, and most of all, getting into trouble.

Personality:

Wild, very wild, loves leading other people, mostly into trouble, loyal, especially to his friends. When Ace finds one of his crew members to be in great trouble, he stays loyal to them till the very end. He finds many problems in his young life, but since he's the captain, he stops his crew members from panicking, thinks it through thoroughly, with help from his crew members, he often solves the problems. If one of his crew members was captured by the 'marines', then together, with his crew, devise a plan to recapture his crew mates. He's always a cheerful captain, and is best friends with his first mate, Logan.

History:

Image

His role model, Thomas Paine, he had always loved, became a pirate, and often visited. He wasn't all that bad of a pirate. He did steal, he did raid, but never his hometown. Ace absolutely loved Thomas, he was a famous pirate called Blue Haired Tom. Tom was great friends with Ace, and Tom, the last time they met before Tom would never visit the hometown island of Sandy Village, entrusted Ace with his . Ace always called Tom his father, because Tom was so great to Ace. It was a sad leaving, but Ace carried the dagger everywhere, and never ever let his mother know about it, otherwise, she would definitely confiscate it.
Ace, only fourteen, decided to set sail when he was sixteen. While he was still fourteen, he often practiced fighting with the dagger. Sometimes, he would sneak away from home, and looked in the weapons shop to decide which new weapons he wanted, and with his pirates savings, he bought a gun and another dagger so that he could dual wield them. Sometimes his mother stole his second dagger, and attempted to sale it, but Ace always found a way to get it back.

So begins...

Chigaco? H-how am I in Chicago thats across the ocean from the UK, Dom couldn't believe it, he wanted to head back from where he had come from but he disn't know where there was. "Damnit!" Anger lined his voice and he smashed the husk of what use to be a car with his rifle breaking the deadly silence that surrounded him, his abger soon turned to grief as the memories of the recent battle and the stress of searching for his family finally hit him as it always did when the adrenaline through his veins had passed left his bloodstream. He collapsed to the floor silently sobbing to himself reaching inside his armour pulling out a yellowed and crumpled photo. "I'm so sorry you two. I failed to protect mankind, I failed to protect my men but most of all I failed to keep you both safe." He lowered his head and sobbed silently there in the dust and grime of this dead city, not a sound but his own heartbeat to keep him company.

After sobbing for what felt like an eternity, he really did hate it when he cried he put the picture back in it's secured place right infront of his heart he decided to check up on his weapon's condition, it was a hardy thing and just as many marks and scratches as he did. Cocking the slider back and releasing the clip he checked how many rounds he had left. twenty, that'll do if I bump into a patrol, he then checked his ammo pockets and found two full magazines of 40 rounds each, they won't last long if I bump into a horde. He thought rather sourly, moving his hand down to his snub pistol, to check if it was still there and was relieved at the fact that it was, he knew he still had a full clip in there and he always kept a spare securely strapped to his boot. He placed the half full clip back into the feeder and to his annoyance jammed the gun. "Shit, this always happens when I'm calm." As soon as he had fixed the gun he heard a noise, his ears perked up straining to make out the noise, in this silence the noise was as subtle as nuke being set off in city centre but it was too far away to make out what it was.

The sound was beginning too get closer and closer until Dom could clarify the noise was frantic footsteps, he jumped onto his feet and moved through the debris to a more defensive position, gun armed and ready he looked down onto the streets through his sights and prepared for the worst only to his astonishment to find the maker of this noise was a young boy. "Hey kid! Yeah you down there!" He moved from his position, waving at the boy. "Get your arse up here now!"

The boy ran up to him and Dom was completely dumbfounded at the sight of him, the only way he could put it was the boy looked like a pirate, not one of those pantamine actors in the brightly coloured costumes but in rather authentic looking clothes, What the hell is this kid dressed up like a pirate for? Is he a little slow or something, he stands out like a sore thumb in this place, his thoughts was broken when the boy spoke up. "Thank goodness there's other people! Do you know what the hell was that thing?! And why am I here? And why are you here? And I thought everyone was dead?" His voice was frantic but breathless the boy must have been running fast and for some distance. "Slow down kid, you're gonna collapse if you don't breathe." He sat down, knees up but apart, resting his weapon on his lap and beckoned the boy to do the same. "Now let's get things straightened out first, I'm 1st Lieutenant Dominic Santiago of the 5th London freedom fighter platoon." He paused to search his many concealed pockets for any rations he might have on and found a bar of chocolate that he didn't know he had, ripping the tinfoil like wrapper and snapping him a piece while handing the rest to the boy, He looks like he could do with some sugar in his system. "And to answer some of your questions, I guess you must have hit your head or something if you've forgotten those things you mean are the alien bastards that humanity have been fighting since 9th November, 2146 and loosing at that." He finished his chocolate and felt a little better he couldn't remember the last time he had tasted chocolate, it really was a little delight to him. "And to answer why I'm here I have no idea, I entered the London underground and wound up in God damn Chicago. Also I'm guessing your here because you use to live here before your complex had been attacked or have you forgotten that too?" He didn't want to be harsh to the boy but he also didn't want to be dealing with simpletons, that would only hinder him rather than help either one of them.

After her nap in the taxi Hattie took great effort to drag herself from the car. Blood soaked the leg of her knickers, a deeper cut received while clambering through a pile of rubble. As she ran ehr hand across her leg she became aware of the pain and blood.
"You have got to be F***ing kidding me... " she muttered as she tore the sleeve from her shirt. "So this wasn't a bender after all..." Using he fabric she wrapped the wound. Luckily it looked a lot worse that it was. As she sat in the the cab, hanging her legs out the door as she wrapped her wound yelling in the distance caught her ears. Quickly she tucked her hair into her hat, and began jogging toward the sounds, gripping her pistols as she came pressed herself against a wall. Slowly she peeked around the corner, and her vision was met with another of the creatures. At first she turned to run, but the sound of voices caught her attention, though she couldn't spot the location of the sounds.
Al...is that you... she thought, eyes wide as she turned back against the wall. "What to do.." she muttered as she glanced around once more. This time she caught sight of a boy, running behind a large pile of rubble. The creature was no where in sight, but she no longer heard it's footsteps. As she stepped around the corner however, she saw it...and it saw her. The creature was hideous, and dripping with a foul liquid. Drool dripped from it's jaws as it began it's movement toward her.
Fear hit her like a ton of bricks at the sight of the monster, but was quickly followed by determination to live. As the creature lunged toward her Hattie turned on her toes, as if dancing, to juke past it. As she felt the course skin of the beast brush past her she flipped open her blades and sank it deep into it's flesh as the monster dragged itself past her weapons. It turned quickly to retaliate, screaming an unholy scream of agony.
"Come on ugly, let's see what you got!" she spouted as she stood firm, her blades ready. It lunged at her once more, jaws gnarling, but Hattie lunged back. With her left fist she slammed her knuckles as hard into the beast's forehead as she could, while slicing at it's throat with her other. The impact knocked her back, slamming her against a wall nearby. As her body made contact she lost her breath, collapsing to the ground.
The creature screamed and sputtered, blood spurting from it's throat as it's body hit the pavement. It's life force pooled around it, staining the street with blood. Slowly Hattie lifted herself up to look around, but her elbows deceived her as they wobbled and she crashed back down to the earth. It was a pains he had never experienced before in her life, having ever been tossed against a wall before. Though she strongly wished to follow the boy she had seen, it was going to have to wait. For now she lay on the ground, finding tears streaming down her face from the shock of it all.

The little arsehole, he thought aggitatedly. "Well actually I have been grazed so many times I've lost count by things called bullets kid." He turned his head so his right side of his face was in what little light there was showing his scar covered face. "It's what happenes when you're a soldier fighting those bastards but enough chit chat, I have to find away home, I suggest you do the same thing." His voice grave, standing up with the help of his rifle, he turned around to see what looked like the best way to walk until he heard a shriek that chilled him to the bone. That didn't sound like anything I've heard before, he could feel the adrenline starting to introduce itself back into his blood and all the aches, hungerand anxiety he had felt before were drowned out as he cocked the slider back, readying himself for a fight and charged off into the direction of the shriek.

He reached the scene, gun brought to a ready position ready to bring the first hostile he see's a quick death but realised the threat had already been pacified. "This must be the monster that boy was on about." He muttered, shuffling up to the corpse, weapon trained obn it, when he was only thirty centimetres away from the thing, noticing the colour of it's blood was a vomit coloured green not the pitch black of the aliens he had fought a moment ago. He gave it a light kick under the gash, nothing, he then gave it a mighty kicked that sent it scuttling across the street. I wonder who or what did that?, his question was answered when he heard the faint sound of crying. He turned around to see a woman, injuired on the floor, he walked over to her holstering his weapon onto his back and pulled out a medi-shot syringe out.

He kneeled down to the woman hoping she wasn't to badly hurt. "Hey miss are you ok? Do you need a medi-shot?" He asked softly, placing a gloved hand onto the womans back. He noticed she too was wearing strange clothes too, like the boy but slightly more modern but he couldn't quite tell where he had seen this style of clothing. Wait I know she looks like one of those gnagstas from those old movies I remember watching.

After taking a few steps to regain her footing she watched as a light grew a few feet away shining in the air. It looked as if the space around it was being sucked into a tiny black space. Before Hattie could approach it a mass fell through, a woman, and slammed to the ground. The light disappeared in a flash, leaving behind yet another victim.
Shaking her hand out to gain his attention as she slowly stepped toward the girl she called out to him, "Hey Signore, it looks like we have another one here, though she might not be so lucky. Fell right out of the damn sky. And look, she said lifting up a piece of the woman's strange clothing, "she got blood all over her pretty pretty dress. After wiping her hands on her knees she stood and stepped away from the girl, "She's all yours, I don't do well with... she looked back over her shoulder at the woman, "...floozies. I'll go find the bambino and meet you there."
Her hips swayed as she walked away from the girl and Dom. Looking back she tossed Dom a little wave before leaving his line of sight.
"By the way, the names Hattie."

It didn't take long for her to find the mound, and the boy. This one was dress like a pirate. Hattie stifled her laugh as she stepped around the corner, "And what the hell are you supposed to be?"
