The Neo System

A heavily modified Cargo Class starship sped through the skies of Sigma, followed by 2 BDDs (Basic Defense Drone). The ships inertial dampeners were, too the Crews great satisfaction, working. The Captain sat in his chair on the bridge. Behind him was the sign everyone HAD to follow, The no Smoking on the bridge sign. The drones began shooting lasers at them. "Twi, whats our shield strength?" Genesis asked his sister, who was his co pilot. "We are at 60% sir. But i would highly suggest we wait to clear the Atmosphere before we jump, and keep our shields above 40%. Otherwise our chances of Shield Failure during Jump start getting better and better, i dont trust this thing to hold air in space on its own....". "Alright then". Genesis went to the ship speakers and told them "Attention Crew, there is a possibly chance we may blow up at any moment....well, a bigger chance...." he noted, then interrupted by a ding from the Kitchen. He then said "...And the Mini Pizzas are ready".

Genesis then brought up the weapons controls onto his control screen. He activated the weapons and began shooting at the drones, who were both shooting at them, and trying to scan and ID them. There were 3 now, another had joined them. He began shooting the ships Photon Cannons. Soon they started to near the edge of the Atmosphere. "30 seconds!" Twilight yelled. More and more drones began appearing. There was 12 now. Well, 17 if you include the ones that were destroyed. Genesis kept firing. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, NOW! BEGINNING WARP JUMP!". As this point a blue glow surrounded the ship as it warped away, and soon reappeared in the middle of space between Nova and Sigma. Twi then announced throughout the ship "Warp Jump Successful. Chances of us blowing up are now back at their usual 23.2%". Genesis sighed. Just another average day.

He went down to the engineering room, which also tended to be the cargo room, when they couldn't fit anything else in the closet. He checked the cargo. 4 tons of Resonite. They began to fly towards Nova, where a client was expecting his shipment to arrive, and they wouldn't disappoint.

He looked toward Jake and asked "I thought the Inertial Dampeners where suppost to stop explosions?". He sighed, then noted "Well next time i expand on the ship, im adding a cargo bay. Its offcially needed. Along with a computer room and another engineering room". He then noted "And we are headed toward Nova now. Along to recieve our pay for those...." pointing to the Resonite. He then noted Reap and went over, asking him "What is it?". THen a few alarms went off, and Twi announced "Space Pirates inbound!". "Excuse me for a moment" he told him, going onto the bridge, and activating the weapons system. 2 Space Pirate ships were attacking, while the shields were only at 57%. "Twi, take out power from the thrusters and focus them into weapons. Jake, i need some repairs done on shield generator #2, just in case it fails on us.....again. Everyone else, Battlestations!" he told them, as they engaged in battle.

Genesis looked around, anylalyzing the situation. "Jake, Twi, i need you both on fire teams to repair any damage. Jake, check the closet, behind the bow of pears. Reap, tell your men to be ready for anything..." he noted, then walking over to his chair and pulling up all the control modules too, then noticing Power Conduit 3 was failing again. He stood up, going into the hallway, kicked the wall, came back, and it was back up. He then began to fire at then enemy ships but then also noted "ANd SOMEONE repair the primary weapon systems!".

Then more ships came out of hyperspace. "Again, I think its time to finish up repairs on the primary weapon system!" he told them. How he would love to have their Rail-guns working for a change. Genesis sighed, activating the speakers, notable during a tight spot, and said "Attention all crew, we are having just another normal day today. Please resume work to keep our luck of surviving up!".
