Wal-Mart Wars

I would like to thank my friend Jay, as he and I have played with the idea of Wal-Mart Wars before, but it didn't get very far. He isn't on this site, but he still is around and I had to put his name on here somewhere.

(Some people have left, either because they could commit or couldn't meet the basic standards that were required, and we can accept 2 people who are literate, and very committed. If you join now, you have missed about a day and a half of IC time, so if you'd like to join :D)

This roleplay is written in the 1st person.

Welcome to Wal-Mart, how may I help you?
The day is January 1st 2013. You and 9 others are waiting in a Wal-Mart parking lot for a man named Viktor Walton to arrive. When you first met him he was just the old man who ran the coffee shop in the center of Hemanville, a place you visited regularly. One day as you were sipping a delicious drink in the corner of the shop, the man hobbled out from behind the counter and stapled a poster to the back wall. Curious, you and a few others made your way over to inspect it as Viktor made his way back to the counter. It was a simple poster with just enough words to pique your interest.

Things had been particularly boring that day, and so instead of phoning him, you walked up to him and asked him about the poster. And then Viktor explained, with a sly smile, his weird story. Basically it turned out the man was filthy rich and had bought a run down Wal-Mart at the edge of town and planned to fix it up. Then he found out he had a terminal illness and of course, no family and no more living close friends. All his life, he had been a man with a good sense of humor and now that he had this Wal-Mart, a funny plan formed in his mind. What if he made 10 people try to survive in a Wal-Mart for 2 months? How much fun would that be? So he restocked the Wal-Mart and made up a plan and a single poster.
The rules were simple. Survive. Not survive against the other 9, but not particularly with the other 9. You weren’t allowed to kill any one, as it is against the law and over all morally wrong, but Viktor understood there may be some fights. Obviously with such a vague goal, you could have multiple winners so the prize was a part of his inheritance money and a custom made trophy that reads: ULTIMATE WAL-MART WARRIOR. He began to make a few minor changes inside of the building, such as closing off the weapons display that included things such as hunting knifes and paintball guns. Other areas he closed off were the storage and the staff and security rooms. In the security room Viktor planned on watching things transpire and make sure no one did anything they weren’t supposed to. He has turned off the power, the heat, and most of the electricity. The only electricity was for making sure the toilets still worked. The hydro remained fully functional. He has dubbed the washroom area as a no man’s land of sorts, a no fighting zone, and has declared that the only thing allowed into the Wal-Mart with you is just the clothes on your back.

And now, here you are; freezing in the parking lot as Viktor drives in and parks his small blue car. Soon you are all huddled together and Viktor produces a baseball cap from inside his large coat. “There are pieces of paper with a number on them, which signifies the number of the door you are to enter. When you have your number you may go to your door and wait for the signal, which will be a flare shot into the sky. Remember, stay safe and have fun.”

Just a little bit of information you might want to know about Wal-Mart, in case you have no idea what it is.
Wal-Mart is like an ‘everything’ store. A general store.
All Wal-Marts are unique, so what I describe as the Wal-Mart is just a version of one of the many Wal-Marts and I’m sorry if it doesn’t have the same things your Wal-Mart may, or if it has things yours doesn’t.
