Physical Description: Taka has blue hair that's on the darker side, but not too dark. Its usually tied back in a thin, neat, ponytail in three different spots with orange ribbon. The ribbon's color may change depending on the situation. He may wear a more formal red if he has an audience with the Emperor. His eyes are light purple. He wears a traditional white sleeveless Chinese top that is olive green on the inside, underneath is a longer sleeved black top with white cuffs. On both wrists he wears wrappings. His pants are simple white martial arts pants that tuck into long socks that have a black band at the top, and a pair of black kung fu shoes that tie to his ankle. Finally to top it all off is a red sash tied around his waist. He's on the tall side, standing at about 5' 9" and has the muscular, athletic build of someone who has been trained in combat his entire life.[/center]

Personality: Taka is very much a mix of his mother and father. He has his mother's stubborness, quick thinking, determination, kindness, and courage. From his father he is loyal, serious, a perfectionist, and short tempered. And from both he is honorable, respectful, and selfless.

Animal Companion: Suzaku, Taka's family guardian. A small Phoenix usually seen perched on his shoulder. She is guiding and full of wisdom. For generations it has been her job to guide the sons of the Li family and be a constant companion.



History: Taka was born with a great burden on his shoulders. As his parents were two of the greatest warriors of China, from birth he was pushed to be the same. His life was dedicated to learning the art of combat, something he loved very much. He took part in his first battle when he was only twelve and has been fighting in the war against the Hun ever since. With Suzaku guiding him at every step, and his parents right by his side, he didn't not fear death, only failure. His entire life changed when he got the letter. He hates the school, for they are trying to turn him into some he's not. Just like what happened to his mother. And also because of how different it is from ancient China, his home. All the technology intimidates him. Because he is so different from all the other people there, Suzaku is his only friend. And he is very homesick.
