Alfred had been sitting down leaning against a tree. He was taking notes on the ground covering foliage of this region. Looking up to see Gail he blinked a few times. He looked down to his book then back to her.
"Writing." he glanced around.
"Why am I not supposed to be here?"
"Writing." he glanced around.
"Why am I not supposed to be here?"
Gail shook her head softly. "No, I just moved here so I wouldn't know. I just didn't expect anyone else to be here."
Wynnie blinked. "Where exactly is here? I had gone hiking, and suddenly I realized I don't know where I am..."
"Well," Gail said, "My mom said that this is Dragon's Grove as the locals call it. I hear it's was supposedly sacred back a couple centuries ago."
Rin walked up to the group and heard them talking. "What could be sacred about this place. It`s just another town."
Gail shrugged softly. "Supposedly, these woods were the home to an ancient dragon, that graced the citizens of the town with prosperity as long as they did not enter the grove. But it's all probably just legends."
Alfred stood slowly and pushed his notebook into his bag, Lifting it onto his shoulder he smiled at those around him. "Maybe not all of it. Some of these Herbs shouldn't be growing here. yet they thrive." He shrugged some as he motioned to the foliage on the ground
"The boy is right, those were no legends children...." A voice echoed from deep within the forest, and suddenly a figure, shrouded in a robe, appeared behind Gail, Gail jumped and turned around defensively. "W-Who are you?" She demanded but the figure didn't speak, you could not tell whether it was male of female because of the robe, it was short however and hunched over, giving the idea that it was an older being. Instead of answering Gail's question it turned and headed towards the center of the forest. The voice said. "Follow it children. We have something for you..."
Rin was surprised by the person. and listened to the figure said. If what was said was true and dragons really existed, then she needed to find out more. Rin decided that she would follow the person and started walking in that direction.
Alfred's hand moved to his belt at the appearance of the figure. Fingers grasping the hilt of a knife. "Wait what?" He glanced and everyone there a moment. Seeing Rin begin to follow it. "Your just gonna follow that creepy thing?" He looked to Gail and then back to Rin.
Gail stared after the figure for a moment, then looked back at Alfred and shrugged, figuring that if something did go wrong she could get out of it. So she too began to follow the figure.
Rin stopped and glanced back at the boy. "Do you have anything better to do? Because all I got to do is unpacking in a house I didn`t want to move to. If something goes wrong then I`m not going down with a fight." She shrugged and continued to follow the figure.
Alfred lifted his hand to make another argument, but decided against it, as she had a point. "Well no I guess not." He said as he jogged to catch up to the two of them.
The figure moved deep into the forest, having the essence of a ghost, the way it moved smooth and graceful. Gail found herself wondering if this figure was even human. It led them deep into the forest, stopping at the opening of what appeared to be a stone garden, like they would have in Japan, only instead of sand, it was soft flowing grass that surrounded the stones. Gail looked around curiously and from the other side of the clearing the voice spoke again. "Welcome children..."
Rin looked around the stone garden. She had never seen a stone garden that looked like this before, with the grass growing where the sand usually was. She heard the voice speak again at the other side of the clearing and wondered briefly how old it was.
"Looks kinda like Stone Henge over in the united kingdom." he said to no one off hand. Alfrednot realizing he was moved himself infront of the two girls as if being somewhat protective. "Ummm hi." he would say to the voice.
Gail looked at the arrangement of the stones, wondering if it was natural or not as the voice spoke. "Do not fear, I do not intend to hurt you, it's been so long since I've had visitors, please allow me to greet you properly." Then, out of a dark opening in the trees a huge dragon emerged, walking slowly, it's steps silent even though it towered high above them like a sky scraper.
"Welcome, I am Gerren."

Rin took a step back when she saw the dragon. The dragon was much more amazing then the ones she read about. For awhile she just stood there looking at Gerren. "I..I`m Rin." she said.
Alfred staggered back falling backwards and landing hard on the grass, when he saw the dragon emerge. "What the hell? He stammered before hearing the dragons name. He glanced at the girls as they gave their names. Running a hand through his hair he blinked wildly, was he dreaming? "Alfred." He said, not quite sure why.
The dragon looked peaceful and at ease, it sat down on the grass and looked over them all. "Welcome. I have asked for you all to come here because I would like to help you."
Gail looked at him confused. "Asked us? No one asked me to come here."
Gerren chuckled softly. "I did not ask you young one. I asked the Gods to bring you here. You see, I have been watching you all since the day you were born, I watch over all the incompletes."

She has been watching over me since I was born? Incompletes? Rin didn`t understand. She didn`t understand why anyone would do that. "What do you mean by incompletes?" Rin asked Gerren
Gerren looked down on Rin and seemed to smile though it was hard to tell with his reptilian face. "You are all missing something, a part of yourselves that did not come to be when you were born. My job is to help awaken that part of you. For example, someone might not have confidence. Someone might be unable to feel love. Things like that."
