a character in “War Of Factions”, as played by bLuThUnDa

Description

Faction sheet

Name: Lyt'harts of Lyri

People: Human

Special troop: Naurry Knights

Strength: The men and woman of Lyri are skilled in every type of fighting (archery, siege warfare, stealth, hand to hand, weapons, ect). They are hard workers and they are guided by doing the best and right things. Their belief that what they do is good gives them almost limitless moral to fight till the end no matter what.

Weakness: This faction has the least amount of members of any faction and is divided. The division inside the faction itself is a great cause of weakness, because united they would be a super power, but divided it is only a fragment of its true power.

Motive for war: The Lyt'harts felt they were the de facto leaders of the six factions. When the other factions began breaking ties and fighting amongst themselves the land of Lyri had taken apon itself to mend the broken bonds of the factions, but long before the factions broke up the Lyt'harts themselves were already broken up into five ruling parts of a family who believed they should be in charge of the family. The part of the family that do fight the war do so to regain order in the land.

History: The family known as the Lyt'harts were made up of the children of Biron Tenreo a man known as the immortal. Biron Tenreo had five children, then after they had grown up to adulthood he left; never had aged a day in a hundred years. To where is a matter of debate depending on who you talk too. In Birons time he had united the seven lands that he lived in and around forming the land Lyri. On the day he left he broke the lands into five provinces. One for each of his children to rule over. The Tenreo children were as good as their father in the way they ruled and treated people. The people allowed each of the provinces to be named after each of the children: Naurry, Illire, Matoska, Arakion, and Eldo.

Each child had an uncanny ability to start a fire where ever they went when ever they needed it. They were so charitable and successful that they taught their people everything they learned making the Lyri nation prosper. After two generations of being called Light Hearts, because of their fire ability and charity, the Tenreo's changed their name to Lyt'hart. On this day they declared that anyone who officially wanted to be apart of their faction would become a Lyt'hart and was awarded a banner, schooling, and warrior training. The people who did not join eventually left the lands or became lesser to the public. In another three generations Lyri was officially a force to be reckoned with.

In the first great conflict of Hartera it was Lyri who asked the other factions to join them in an alliance to fight off a horde of enemies, but not all of the factions joined. The alliance was successful and was a building block in the unity of Hartera in the future. At this time Illire's line ended when the nobility had all been assassinated in one massive attack during the great conflict. Naurry was tasked by Eldo and Matoska to become steward of the land making Illire province forever loyal to the province of Naurry. And the Arakion nobility jealous of the Naurry line for inheriting Illire instead of them.

Around the same time as the second great conflict Hartera united. This pushing Lyri to the forefront of the political hierarchy. In this time their numbers dwindled, because of a number of reasons. First, they saw that it was their duty to end the second big conflict which made them loose twenty percent of their population. Second, they had spread themselves out among all the factions having alot of their people leave completely to live in new lands. Lastly, their population naturally began to get smaller. Then when the united lands broke apart the people of Lyri were affected the most. They had believed in the united faction and still believe that it was best thing for all the land. Before they could do anything to stop it the Arakion revolted. Also, this happened in a time when Lyri's army was spread across Hartera. After the revolt was put down it was too late. The other five factions of Hartera were already at war with each other. Lyri's army had been bled to death across the countless warzones trying to maintain peace and order.

Now only Naurry and Illire Lyt'hart family will fight the faction war. Matoska Lyt'hart family remains neutral and uses its army to defend trade, importance things and people. Eldo family has become pacifist --has no standing army-- believing that the war isn't their fight and has become isolationist. They have decided that knowledge of all things is most important. Arakion family is not helping in the war, because it has gone into plotting. They see this as an opportunity to seize control of the Lyt'hart name for themselves.

The God of Continents watches over his creation from his throne atop his Castle perched upon the skies.

He sees all that is happening, all that has happened, and all the will come. He sees great nations, prosperous nations like Noveria,
falling into disrepair, now only a shadow of its former self. He sees great heroes, such as the Lyt'Harts of Lyri, Uniting nations to fight against a hardened enemy. He sees impending war, between all the factions of Hartera, as the God of Continents has wished. He sees lesser known unnamed nations joining the war. He sees opportunistic mercenaries like that of the group Room V making their own gains in the war.

Individuals begin to manifest themselves in the Mind of Hartera, future tyrants, war heroes, and those doomed to meet their own fate on a desolate battlefield.

The Conflicts have began, Relations are breaking down as Hartera watches from his perch.

The only thing Hartera cannot see is who will step inside the chambers of Hell and Oblivion. Who will go into the blood bath and come out the other side the victor, if they come out at all. Will it be that of the Lyt'Harts finally gaining what they believe is rightfully theirs? Will the Sanguine Legion achieve their goal of perfect unity? Will Noveria climb out of their own economic despair and steamroll their way into sovereignty?

He sees all of this, as the leaders of Noveria, the Lyt'Harts, and the Sanguine Legion gather for one final attempt at diplomacy, the only factions to even entertain the idea any more.

Across the land, on a far away beach, a forward recon team for Room V begins their landing procedures. Hartera smiles as he begins to bask in the tension in the air around him, feeling the hostility. Hartera's plans are falling into place, by the end of this he will have found the perfect nation.

Even so, should the nations all lead themselves into destruction, Hartera will have had entertainment for the moment. A sick game played by a curious god. Hartera laughs to himself as he watches.

The Lyri'ans knew that if any kind of order would be brought back to Hartera diplomacy was their only chance. So, the council sent an ambassador to the meeting with an elite column of troops. Alexius rode beside the Lyri'an ambassador feeling a cold wind pressing against them. He wore his blue cloak that covered his armor so that everyone knew that the Naurry Knights were in force on this mission. Far ahead of the column green cloaks rode to scout the way. At the head the orange cloaks made way for the rest of the column. An Illire crossbow elite regiment followed after with the Ambassador, Alexius, and the third in command of the Naurry Knights in the middle. Behind them was the supply wagon's. Standard troops on foot maintaining the supplies. At the end of the column a regiment of red and yellow cloaked Naurry Knights held onto the bannars of Lyri. If anything would go wrong they would be ready to pull the ambassador out and fight their way all the way out of the enemy territory and Hartera itself knew that they could with these troops.

The column turned past a ridge to find the glen they had planned to set up at. The Lyt'Harts brought equipment for the meeting so that the nations would be in a comfortable and non-hostile setting. Then they began the set up. First, a massive tent was erected. In the roof of the gold/purple tent a small opening would be found to let the sun inside and this was where the fire would be made to ready a feast. This tent was where they planned to have the meeting. Pillows and chairs were set up all along the tent along with tables and decorations. Either this feast would be for peace or it would be a preparation before the war. Either way the Lyt'Harts had little doubt that this meeting was going to lead to a peace of all the nations who were in war, but maybe only the nations who met here.

Alexius quickly changed out of his armor and put on light brown leathers so that he could go with the scouts for a hunt. Nobody was exactly sure when the rest of the nations would arrive, but he did not want to be waiting around for them for long. He made an excuse to the ambassador that he'd go see how the green cloaks were doing in their line of work. In reality he knew exactly how they were. They even proved it when he rode up to meet them. He found only their commander in the clearing waiting.

"I told you and your men to wait for me. Here." He said firmly, with one finger pointing to the ground, when his horse trotted up to the commander of the green cloaks.

"Ah my lord. I have done as you asked. I feel my men have taken it apon themselves to show you or I should say prove to you just how effective they are." He explained with a wave of his hand. "Come men. Lets not keep Lord Alexius in the dark. Or at least keep yourselves in the shadows for too long."

With the wave of the commanders hand the green cloaks came from the shadows and trees. They made no movement while they hid and if they did it was calculated with the wind or some other variable. Alexius had this coming, earlier he boasted that he would like to see an example of their skill. Then when some of the men came out from right in front of his eyes he was certianly impressed. He trained with the green cloaks for a short time just for fun, but to see the best of them was something to behold in it self. Of course, he knew that they were not the top tier of stealth in the whole world. He knew of magic that could make people invisible, but that was rare to come by. Maybe that was all a myth. He could not be sure.

"Good show men." He said with a happy clap. "Indeed, I didn't even see you standing there in front of me. Amazing. Lets see how those tracking and hunting skills are now."

They instantly began talking and laughing as they filed into a small line toward the chosen hunting ground the Lyt'Harts picked from pre-planning. It took them four hours to find and kill the animals they planned for. Which was amazing time, considering they did not know the lands well, for them to get what they set out to gather. Alexius and the others returned to the camp all set up. The camp had tents set up for guests if anyone should need it, tents for their men, an area for the leaders, supply area, kitchen, a small training area that the soldiers set up for fun, and a big enough clearing for the other nations to set up at. Alexius clean himself and put on attire worthy of the meeting. By the time he finished his preparations he hoped that someone would've arrived.
