A Brilliant Thief, and Expert Swordsman
She is mischievous by nature, with a witty and charming demeanor that can fool most on the spot. She hides behind many faces, never allowing anyone close enough to know her true self. She has a tendency to steal without even thinking about it. Her impulsive and fiery nature tend to get her into quite a bit of trouble.
She was born in a small fishing village in the south, yet it was raided by bandits when she was three. Her parents and brother were killed in the initial attack. A ronin was passing by the next time they attacked, and he managed to defeat them. The stranger took a liking to Hoshi, who reminded him of his own deceased daughter, and took her with him since she had no family left. He trained her as he would any student, despite her troublesome attitude.
When she was 12, her master died of from an illness and left her alone. She continued practicing everything he taught her, yet no one usually relied on the skills of a woman. So, she turned to thieving. Eventually, she joined a band of mercenaries and rose quickly in the ranks. After years of doing work that was...less than honorable....Hoshi left her comrades and struck out on her own. She still relies on her skills as a thief to survive, but even she has her own code. She never steals of the weak or poor, and sometimes will even steal for them. She earned the nickname, the "Yoru Ookami", for her abilities to steal at night. On evenings of the full moon, she dares steal from Daimyo and Shoguns, which explains her name in more detail.
